Funeral services for Verlie Ione Roberts, former secretary of Sasakwa Schools, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada.
Rev. Wesley Martin will officiate the services.
Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada, under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home.
Roberts died Sunday, July 28, 2002 at a local hospital at the age of 70.
She was born to George Winegard and Flora Winegard on Aug. 17, 1931 in Pine Castle, Fla.
Roberts graduated from high school in Florida, and attended beauty school.
She married Melvin Jackson Roberts on June 26, 1953.
Roberts was the former owner of Clares Beauty Shop in Ada, and later retired as a secretary from Sasakwa Schools.
She was a member of the Sasakwa Assembly of God.
Roberts is survived by her husband, Jack, of the home; and one brother, Carl Winegard, Tifton, Ga.
Pallbearers are Roberts’ nephews, Steve Sutton, Shane Sutton, Ernie Sutton, Kenny Fowler, John Story II, and Brad Story.
Indianola Robertson
Funeral services for Indianola (Pyle) Robertson are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Cromwell Church of Christ.
James Branscum and Dennis Eubanks are set to officiate.
Interment is to follow at Schoolton Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Robertson died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002 at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 91.
She was born Feb. 24, 1910 in Antioch to Elmer and Vesta (Smith) Pyle.
She was raised in the Okemah area.
Robertson married George Clay Robertson on Oct. 24, 1930.
They celebrated their 65th anniversary just prior to his death in November of 1995.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Cromwell Church of Christ.
Robertson had been a resident of Seminole Estates Nursing Home since March of 2000.
She is preceded in death by her husband; two daughters, Frankie and Nola Robertson; one grandson; one great-grandson; her parents; one sister, Murial (Pyle) Freeze; and two brothers, Leon and Riley Pyle.
She is survived four daughters, Adoplhine ‘Dot’ Heiskill of Seminole; Billie Moore and Linda Marshall, both of Wewoka, Patsie Knapp of Watson; two sons, Charles Robertson and Earl Robertson, both of Wewoka; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Velena Carpenter of Okemah, Eulonda Lane of Douglasville, Texas, and Wanda Willingham of Kinta; two brothers, Art Pyle of Okemah and Milfred Pyle of Kinta.
Betty Sue Robinson
MUSKOGEE – Funeral services for Betty Sue Robinson, the mother of a Seminole resident, were scheduled for 10 a.m. today at Timothy Baptist Church.
Rev. Kelly Payne was set to officiate.
A committal service was to be held at 3 p.m. today at Blackburn Cemetery in Franklin under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
Robinson died Saturday, March 2, 2002 at her home at the age of 66.
She was born June 13, 1935 in Cheyenne to James and Jeanneau (Patton) Hyer.
She grew up in Leedy and Midwest City.
Robinson lived in Oklahoma City from 1955 until 1972, when she moved to Muskogee.
She worked as a supervisor at a furniture factory before a career as a clerk at the post office.
She worked at the post office for 22 years until retiring on Feb. 2, 1996.
Robinson was preceded in death by two sisters, Neoma Peck and Lavonna Newberry.
She is survived by her husband, A.L. Robinson of the home; seven children, Barbara Daggs of Oklahoma City, Andrew Robinson of Tulsa, Robin Robinson of Pompano Beach, Fla., David Robinson, Russell Robinson and Traci Robinson, all of Muskogee, and Randall Robinson of Seminole; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Monica Burks and Debbie Coble, both of Norman; and two brothers, Bill Hyer of Norman and Jim Hyer of Harrogate, England.

Ronnie Lee Robinson
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Ronnie Lee Robinson were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at the First Assembly of God Church.
Burial followed at Little Cemetery, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Dale Money officiated the services.
Robinson passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2002 at the V.A. Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 45.
He was born to Melburn Robinson and Elrose A. (Petty) Robinson on August 26, 1956 in Garden Grove, Calif.
Robinson was a construction worker and a disabled veteran.
He served with the U.S. Marine Corp in the Vietnam War.
Robinson was a member of the American Legion in Ponca City.
He is survived by his parents, Melburn and Elrose Robinson, Ada; two daughters, Trisha Robinson, Arkansas City, Kan., and Tamera Robinson, Oklahoma City; four brothers, Jim Robinson, San Diego, Calif., David Robinson, Tulsa, Tim Robinson, Racine, Wis., and Roger Robinson, Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Diana Prust, Racine Wis.; and two grandchildren, Brianna and Hanna Robinson.
Susan Robinson
ROCHESTER, MINN. – Funeral services for Wewoka resident Susan Robinson are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Assembly of God Church in Wewoka.
Pastor Perry Justus is set to officiate.
Interment is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Robinson died Monday, April 29, 2002 at Rochester Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn. after a lengthy battle with leukemia.
She was 34.
She was born Dec. 11, 1967 in Kansas City, Mo. to Benny and Bonnie Johnson Koger.
Robinson was raised in the Wetunka area and graduated from Wetumka High School in 1986 and then attended Seminole State College.
She married Kenny Robinson on May 28, 1997 in Seminole.
They had lived in Wewoka for the past five years where she was an active member of the community and the Assembly of God Church.
Robinson started Grace Floral Gifts and Greenhouse in October of 2000.
She was a volunteer for the Heritage Hospice and a member of the Wewoka Chamber of Commerce.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jesse and Grace Kroger, and her maternal grandfather, Thomas Johnson.
Robinson is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Kendall and Kyle Chanthavisouk of the home; her parents of Wetumka; her maternal grandmother, Bertha Johnson of Lees Summit of Missouri; two brothers, Terry Koger of Texarkana, Ark. and Steven Koger of Wetumka; and one sister, Sheri Hill of Wetumka.
Pallbearers are Don Robinson, Cary Robinson, Nick Chartier, Dan Ervin, Nicholas Robinson, Tom Johnson and Jim Morphis.
Honorary pallbearers are Terry Kroger, Steve Kroger, Kendall Chanthavisouk and Kyle Chanthavisouk.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Assembly of God Church of Wewoka or the Leukemia Society of America in the name of Susan Robinson.
Jeannine Robinson
Funeral services for Seminole native Jeannine Robinson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002 at the Boyd Church in Oak Grove, Ark.
Revs. Floyd Saffell and Joe Edmonson will officiate the services.
Interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002 at Little Cemetery under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral services of Rogers, Ark.
Robinson died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002 at her home in Oak Grove, Ark., at the age of 49.
She was born to Leon and Ruby Driskill Heffley on Nov. 15, 1952 in Seminole.
Robinson attended Pleasant Grove High School.
She married Leslie Robinson on June 5, 1971 in Seminole and they made their home in Seminole.
Robinson moved to Shidler in 1982, and then transferred to Magnolia, Ark. in November of 1988, then moved to the Oak Grove area.
She was an active member of the Boyd Church in Oak Grove, Ark.
Robinson was preceded in death by her mother on Nov. 11, 1999.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie, of the home; one son, Jamie Robinson, Green Forest, Ark.; one daughter, Lesley Ann Odam, Bixby; her father, Leon Heffley, Seminole; one brother, Jerry Heffley, Seminole; one sister, Vicky Trent, Berryville, Ark.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan in care of the Boyd Church.
