Funeral services for Ruby F. Rolen are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Church of Christ in Wewoka.
Johnny Hinton is set to officiate.
Interment is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Oakwood Cemetery.
Rolen died Friday, April 5, 2002 at Presbyterian-OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 76.
She was born May 25, 1925 near McAlester to Rufus and Odessa Rhodes Jones.
She was raised and attended schools in and around McAlester.
Rolen married Hugh O’Conor in 1943 and they lived in Texas for the next 25 years.
He preceded her in death in 1968.
She returned to Oklahoma and married Ronel Rolen on Dec. 24, 1969.
He preceded Rolen in death in 1985.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon O’Conor; four brothers, Lawrence, Earl, Oscar and Larry Jones; and one sister, Betty Simpson.
Rolen is survived by two children, Larry O’Conor of Chandler and Ronda Bauer of Shawnee; three stepchildren, Ronel Rolen Jr. of Edmond, Cheryl Weatherly of Moore, and Elaine Howard of Shawnee; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth White of Wewoka, Mamie Shores of Shawnee, Mary Trimm of McAlester, and Lois Geneva of Tyler; and one brother, Charles Jones of McAlester.
Wanda Rose
Wanda Lue Rose of Wewoka, died Thursday, June 13, 2002 at the age of 71.
She was born in Seminole on Oct. 14, 1930 to Cecil Jones and Edyth Derrick Jones.
She lived in this area her entire life, graduating from New Lima High School and obtaining her LPN degree.
Wanda married Ivan Cecil Rose on Jan. 28, 1948.
He predeceased her in 1977.
She retired from Sunset Estates Nursing Home, Shawnee, in 1995 and moved to Wewoka a year ago.
Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church and active in WMU.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Jim Mathews of Wewoka; a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Diane Rose of Broken Arrow; one son, Cecil Rose of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Kim and Mike Brown of Broken Bow, Monique and James Hurley of Colony, Texas, Courtney Mathews of Wewoka, Crystal Rose of Earlsboro, and Jimmy Ray Blanton; one great-grandchild, Brooke Harris of Broken Bow; one step great-grandchild, Rebecca Brown of Broken Bow; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends and relatives.
She was also predeceased by her parents and one sister.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 17, 2002, 10:30 a.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole with Rev. Dan Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Rose, Cecil Rose, Jim Mathews, Hayden Mathews, James Hurley and Mike Brown.
Walter Rosengrant
KINGSTON – A memorial service for Seminole native Walter H. Rosengrant is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Watts Funeral Home.
Donnie Lehr is set to officiate.
Services are under the director of Watts Funeral Home.
Rosengrant died Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at a hospital in Durant at the age of 71.
He was born July 12, 1930 in Seminole to Walter Hugo and Maggy May West Rosengrant.
He was raised in Edmond where he lived most of his life.
Rosengrant married Marjorie Arlene Walker on Nov. 21, 1975 in Kansas City, Mo.
He worked for General Motors for 30 years.
He was an instructor at the General Motors Training Center in Oklahoma City until his retirement in 1985.
Rosengrant moved to Kingston in 1986.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was a 32-degree Mason.
He was also a member of the Edmond Roundup Club, National Rifle Association, and was a Field Trail Judge for the American Field.
Rosengrant was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edmond.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife of the home; one son, David Rosengrant of Dover, Tenn.; daughters, Patti Fisher of Edmond, Peggy Douglass of Louisville, Ky., Marian Mashore of Angel Fire, N.M. and Kaye Poole of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Box of Oklahoma City, Martha Warner of Edmond; brothers, David Lee Rosengrant of Longmont, Calif., and J.W. Rosengrant of Wanette.
Mary Ann Roulston
Funeral services for long time Sasakwa resident Mary Ann Roulston are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, at the Stout Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Dan Factor and Rev. Drew Isaacson are set to officiate.
Interment is planned in the Vamoosa Cemetery, under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Roulston died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, in Sasakwa at the age of 60.
She was born in Shelby County, Ala. on Nov. 2, 1941, to Lonnie McNeil and Iva Lee Baxley McNeil.
Roulston lived in the Sasakwa area for the past 40 years, and was employed by the Sasakwa Public School System for the past 29 years.
She worked as a home health provider, and was active in the Sasakwa Auxiliary Fire Department.
Roulston was a member of the Sasakwa First Baptist Church for 40 years.
She married Tony Roulston on March 21, 1996, in Crawford County, Ark.
Roulston was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Bobby McNeil, Billy McNeil, William McNeil and Edward Roberson; and one sister, Alice May Gable.
She is survived by her husband of the home; her son, Mike Harris, Dallas, Texas; her daughter, Donna Day, El Paso, Texas; four step-daughters, Danita Williams, Tecumseh, Regina Hudson, Lott, Texas, JoNell Robbins, Tyler, Texas, Theda Roulston, Little Axe; two step-sons, Danny Roulston, Wewoka, and Wes Roulston, Newalla; nine granddaughters and five grandsons
Loretta Rowe
Funeral services for Loretta Butler Rowe, mother of Wewoka resident Donna Snider, were held at 2 p.m. today at the South Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Rev. Reed Lynn officiated the services.
Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
Rowe died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002 in Ardmore at the age of 79.
She was born to James S. And Hattie S. (Long) Freeman on Aug. 15, 1923 in Shawnee.
Rowe was reared in Tecumseh at the family homestead, and was a 1941 graduate of Tecumseh High School.
Following her marriage, she lived most of her life in Shawnee.
Rowe had recently resided in Ardmore with her daughter.
She married Franklin "Grimmie" Butler on April 20, 1940.
He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1985.
She married Earl Row on Jan. 17, 1991 in Shawnee.
Rowe was a homemaker, and also did bookkeeping and worked as an Income Tax Preparer.
She was a member of the South Rock Creek Baptist Church.
Rowe was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin; her parents; three sisters, Ollie Mauldin, Dovie Smith and Lula Stone; and three brothers, Johnie Maxwell, J.D. Freeman and Hubert Mauldin.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Rowe, Tecumseh; one son, Grover W. Butler, McAlester; two daughters, Donna D. Snider, Wewoka and Darla S. Fountain, Ardmore; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
Jim Rush
Funeral services for Jim Leonard Rush are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.

Burial is to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rush died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002 at Baptist Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 79.
He was born March 7, 1922 in Jennings to James Joshua and Celia Bryl (Hull) Rush.
He married Jean Reynolds Rush on Aug. 10, 1962 in Durant.
Rush worked in the oil field for more than 40 years and retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 20 years.
He was a private first class during World War II for the United States Army.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seminole.
Rush was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of the home; one son, Michael Rush of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Gwenda Jean Wyzard of Killeen, Texas; one sister, Mabel Vangilder of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Casket bearers are Ollie Adams, John Humphrey, Jimmy Howard, Terry Howard, Don Stuart, and Bill Kreeger.
Honorary bearers are Donald Simpson, Elvis Baylor, Jake Thompson, Earl Rounsville, Dr. Stephen Feurborn and Dr. Brendan O’Keefe.
