Funeral services for long-time Seminole resident Florence Beatrice (Adams) Wilburn were scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Wilburn died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002 at Berryville Health Center in Berryville, Ark., at the age of 87.
She was born Jan. 10, 1914 in Earlsboro to N.L. "Bill" Adams and Pearl (Brown) Adams.
She married Norman H. Wilburn on Sept. 27, 1936, in Seminole County. He survives her of the home.
Wilburn and her husband raised their family in Oklahoma, California and Arkansas before the ministry of pastoring churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Tennessee brought them to their retirement years in Table Rock, Mo.
Wilburn assisted her husband in the ministry, especially by leading worship services.
She belonged to the Assemblies of God denomination.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Vera Adams and one brother, A.R. "Sonny" Adams.
Wilburn is survived by her husband; two brothers, Babe Adams, Seminole, and Troy Adams, Tulsa; two sons, Bill Wilburn, Beggs, and Rev. Don Wilburn, Stroud; and three daughters, Norma Deanne Dutton, Shell Knob, Mo., Linda Kaye Eshnaur, Bentonville, Ark., and Cynthia Janan Ortega, Rocky Ford, Colo.
Casket bearers are Micky Wilburn, Scott Thompson, Matt Ortega, Adam Patterson, Craig Ortega, and Jimmy John Sill.
Honorary bearers are Lloyd Wilburn, Harold Wilburn, Babe Adams and Troy Adams.
Mary Jo Wilburn
CHICKASHA – Graveside funeral services for Seminole native Mary Jo Wilburn are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Wilburn died Friday, May 24, 2002 in Watsonville, Calif.
She had lived in Watsonville for the past 15 years.
She was a Southern Baptist Missionary for 43 years, serving in Uruguay, El Paso, Juarez, Mexico, and Venezuela.
Wilburn was a pink lady at Watsonville Hospital and volunteered at Hall Elementary Library.
She was a community volunteer after the 1980 earthquake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Henry.
Wilburn is survived by her husband, Robert Wilburn; two daughters, Candace Benson of San Francisco, Calif. and Marilyn Frendeen of Watsonville, Calif.; two sons, Jose McMurray of Washington, D.C. and James McMurray of Sacramento, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Floyd ‘Bobby’ Wilcox
Floyd Lewis "Bobby" Wilcox was born Jan. 29, 1937 in Seminole to William Monroe and Mabel (Van Landingham) Wilcox.
He passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002 in Leavensworth, Kans. at the age of 65, after a second battle with cancer.
Mr. Wilcox was retired from the U.S. Air Force. He was an aircraft electrician and a high voltage lineman for 20 years and served 14 years doing Federal Service.
He retired in 1994 in Ft. Leavensworth, Kans. He was a member of the Retired Enlisted Association and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
On Nov. 15, 1958, he married Rebecca Hooper. To their union three daughters were born. They divorced in 1978.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Blanch Doyle Wilcox and Grover Cleveland Wilcox; half-brother, Virgil Ketchum; two sisters, Margie Edney and Ruby Michael; and his third wife, Norma Gregory.
Survived him are his daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Bob Sauerwine of Oklahoma City, Sandy and Philip Graham of Hendersonville, Tenn., Sherry and John Hahn of Yukon; his companion of 13 years, Wanda Hunt of Leavenworth, Kans. and her daughter, Tonya; brother, Ray Wilcox of Seminole; two sisters Mary Scott of Garland, Texas and Lillie Robertson of Pasadena, Texas; two grandchildren, Cory Graham of Hendersonville, Tenn. and Dylan Hahn of Yukon; his first wife, Rebecca Porter of Bell Buckle, Tenn.; and his second wife, Rita Grimes.
Bobby enjoyed a full life with friends and family.
He was a Nascar/Jeff Gordon fan, loved to play pitch, cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, and spoil Cory and Dylan, his grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 21, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Buster Wilcox, Jimmy Don Wilcox, Mike Wilcox, Bob Sauerwine, Philip Graham, and John Hahn.
Ruby Wilcox Michael
Ruby Eileen Wilcox Michael, 78, born April 13, 1924 in Seminole, passed away July 18, 2002 in Ft. Smith, Ark.
Memorial services were held Thursday, July 25 at 2 p.m. at Little Cemetery in Seminole.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Scott and her husband, Billy, of Dallas, Texas, and Lillie Robertson of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Floyd "Bobby" Wilcox of Levenworth, Kan., and Ray Wilcox and his wife, Betty, of Seminole; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ikie Ray Michael; her parents, Mabel and William Wilcox; one sister, Margie Stoops of Seminole; two brothers, Blanch Doyle "Fuddy" Wilcox and Grover Wilcox, both of Seminole; and one stepbrother, Virgil Ketchum of Phoenix, Ariz.

Alice Willbanks
Funeral services for Alice Marie Willbanks are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Carl Whitfield is set to officiate.
Burial is to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Willbanks died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002 at her home at the age of 80.
She had lived in Seminole for 30 years.
She was born July 23, 1922 in Boulder, Colo. to Joseph Earl and Veda Cecelia (Hagman) Sanger.
Willbanks married Weldon C. Willbanks.
She was a retired sight manager for Heritage House.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Willbanks is survived by her husband of the home; three sons, Randy Willbanks of Wolf, Earl Willbanks of Reisel, Texas, and Gary Willbanks, of Waco, Texas; one sister, Elenor Chessmore of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
Casket bearers are Jeff Smith, Butch Coble, Ray Taylor, Tony Womack, Oscar Gillespie, and Ernie Elkins.
Albert Williams, Sr.
Wewoka resident Albert Alvin Williams, Sr. died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2002 at Hillcrest Specialty Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 67.
Williams’ body was cremated and therefore, no services are planned.
He was born to James Dotson Williams and Magie Martha Rosie Lee (Boyd) on Jan. 5, 1935 in Garvin.
Williams married Mary Elizabeth (Pletzner) on Feb. 20, 1958 in Gilson, N.H..
He was a retired security guard in Albuquerque, N.M.
Williams was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife on Feb. 21, 2001.
He is survived by two sons, John James Williams, Sr., and Albert Williams, Jr., both of Muskogee; one daughter, Janet Clark, Seminole; two brothers, Melvin Williams, Wewoka and Jerome Williams, Jones; two sisters, Bessie Romine, Seminole and Letha Smith, Meeker; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Betty Lou Williams were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Akasvmkv Baptist Church.
Rev. Dan Factor, Rev. David Little, and Rev. Houston Tiger are set to officiate.
Interment is to follow in the Williams Family Cemetery under the direction of Stout Funeral Home.
Wake services were held last night at Akasvmkv Baptist Church.
Williams died Monday, March 25, 2002 at Holdenville General Hospital at the age of 53 following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 30, 1948 in Oklahoma City to Johnny E. and Mary Jane Amos Jones.
She was raised in the Krebs area and graduated from Crowder High School in 1968.
Williams married C. Kenneth Williams on Dec. 21, 1973 in Tulsa and they moved to Houston where they lived for 20 years before returning to Oklahoma.
She was a member of Akasvmkv Baptist Church and was a Choctaw Tribal member.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, David Jones.
Williams is survived by her husband of the home; one daughter, Renee L Williams of Seminole; one son, Michael D. Williams of the home; one stepdaughter, Cheryl L. Williams of the home; her mother of Krebs; six sisters, Ruth Settlemyre of Muskogee, Linda Sawyer of Sapulpa, Wanda Garnett of Bransdall, Helen Gulley of Rockwall, Texas, Elizabeth Banks of Palm Coast, Calif., and Ruby Jones of Salina, Kans.; and four brothers, Johnny Jones Jr. of McAlester, Leon Jones of Hawaii, Daniel Jones of Ada and Samuel Jones of Missouri.
Pallbearers are George Franks, Andrews Turnbow, Chatto Williams, Chevy Cline, Chris Williams and Charles Votaw.
Honorary pallbearers are Charley Williams, Jim Tatum, Art Cline and Howard Bondoni.
