Funeral services for Rebecca Wood, the member of a Sasakwa church, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa.
Rev. Leon Postoak and Rev. Billy Ray Harjo are set to officiate.
Interment is to follow at the Postoak family cemetery in Sasakwa under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
A wake service is scheduled for tonight at Spring Baptist Church.
Wood died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001 in Tulsa after an automobile accident.
She was 33.
Wood was born Jan. 16, 1968 in Talihina to Wanda (Beaver) and Lyman Postoak.
She was raised in Shawnee and attended Shawnee schools.
On April 21, 1995, she married Donald Wood at Oak Park Church of God in Shawnee.
Wood worked as a medical assistant for the Tulsa Pain Consultants.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Jimmy Postoak; and one sister, Tomi Postoak.
She is survived by her husband of the home; her mother of Holdenville; and seven siblings, Tressia July, Jamie Postoak, Reta Postoak, and Carol Postoak, all of Tulsa, Johnny Postoak and Paula Postoak, both of Holdenville, and Lyman Postoak, Jr. of Granite.
Pallbearers are Tim Davis, Evan Wood, Jim Wood, Gilbert Harjo, Joe Tiger, and Willie Chupco.
All of Wood’s uncles will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Wake services for Yvonne Wood are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Sandy Harjo is to officiate. She is to be assisted by Rev. Roy Robertson.
Burial is scheduled to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Wood died Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at OU Medical Center after a car accident in Shawnee Friday.
She was 35.
She was born Dec. 4, 1966 in Wewoka to Floyd Conger and Ruby (Brewer) Laxton.
Wood attended Seminole Schools. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nash and Susie Harjo and Ruth Perry; and her stepfather, Homer Laxton.
She is survived by her mother; her son, Brandon Wood of the home; two brothers, Nash Harjo Jr. of Wolf and Terry West of Konawa; two stepbrothers, Jamie Conger and Scotty Conger, both of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Tina Sharpe and Joanne Fish, both of Texas, and Barbara Harjo of Shawnee; and two stepsisters, Lori Osborne of Shawnee and Amie Conger of Oklahoma City.
Alethea A. Woods
TECUMSEH – Funeral services for former Maud resident Alethea A. (Wilson) Woods are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Rev. Fred Owens is set to officiate.
Burial is to follow Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.
Woods died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2002 in Shawnee at the age of 80.
She was born June 23, 1922 in Topeka, Kans. to O’Dell and Ethel (Sinclair) Wilson.
She lived in Bristow and Maud before moving to Tecumseh.
Woods graduated from Maud High School and attended New Business School.
She also attended Oklahoma Baptist University and Gordon Cooper Tecnology Center.
She married Elmo Woods in Tecumseh on Nov. 10, 1939.
Woods worked as an administrative assistant for Oklahoma DHS in the Child Welfare Division for 29 years before retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Tecumseh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Borden Wilson; an infant sister; and one grandson, Ricky D. Woods.
Woods is survived by her husband of the home; one son, John Woods of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Sharron Sand of Wagoner and Sherri McGuire of Gaston, S.C.; one brother, Renneck Wilson of Fairhope, Ala.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Joshua Wright
Funeral services for Joshua E. Nathaniel Wright are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial is to follow in Bentonville, Ark. at 2:30 p.m. Thursday under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Wright died Jan. 20, 2002 in Seminole at the age of 18.
He was born Nov. 12, 1983 in Fayetteville, Ark. to Ralph David Wright and Vivian Carol Campbell.
He was a student and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Wright was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joy Waterman.
He is survived by his father of Springfield, Mo.; his mother of Seminole; two sisters, Jericka and Jessica Wright of Springfield, Mo.; and grandparents John and Lela Wright of Bentonville, Ark. and Earnest Campbell of Little Rock, Ark.
Bearers are Britt Gardner, Durward Tucker, Oscar Ferguson, John Hoffman, Tom Conroy, Richard Thompson, Jimmy Wright, Dan Adkins, Bo Lindsey, Tony Azlin, John Quaid and Kenny Long.
Leslie Wyatt
Funeral services for Leslie Wyatt are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague.
Rev. Bob Duncan is set to officiate.
Burial is to follow at the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Wyatt died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002 in Prague at the age of 86.
He was born Sunday, Jan. 2, 1916 in Belmont to Mileage and Pearl (Thoams) Wyatt.
He was a grounds superintendent for the Oklahoma City Parks Department where he worked on the city golf courses.
After Wyatt’s retirement, he returned to Prague in 1979.
He married Daisy Merle Lacquement on Jan. 16, 1936 in Tecumseh. She preceded him in death on April 25, 1982.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Wyatt is survived by two sons, Harold "Brub" Wyatt of El Reno, and Ronald Wyatt of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Norma Hubbell of Meeker and Carrol Jones of Wichita, Kan.; one brother, Lee Wyatt of Seminole; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Carl Abel
JONESBORO, ARK. – Funeral services for Carl Stanley Abel are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Weiner-Roller-Farmers Union Chapel.

Burial is to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Abel died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center at the age of 67.
He was born Dec. 15, 1934 in Meridian, Miss.
He lived in Ferriday, La. He had lived in Weiner most of his life.
Abel was a farm equipment salesman and manager for Riceland International in Weiner.
He was a member of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H.W. and Minnie Cole Abel.
Abel is survived by his wife of the home; Steve Abel of Bismarck, Ark. and Rick Abel of Howell, Mich.; three daughters, Stacey Burch of Milford, Mich., Connie Brown of Harrisburg, Ark., and Angel Moore of Waldenburg, Ark.; two sisters, Jeanette Hubbard of Rayville, La. and Betty Mae McIntyre of Indianapolis, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.
