Memorial services for former Seminole resident, David Goodman are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 at the First Hispanic Church of God of Prophecy in Pryor.
He died Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at the age of 44 in his home at Locust Grove.
He was born Oct. 14, 1959, in Alaska to Haskell and June Goodman.
He was married to Brenda Goodman in 1989.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Daniel Goodman.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda of the home one son, Shawn Goodman; two step-daughters, Amy Nichols and Heather Pyle; and a child on the way.
He is also survived by five brothers, Donny Goodman and Mike Goodman, both of Seminole, Ricky Goodman of Talequah, Bobby Goodman of Modesto, Calif and Mark Goodman of Minco; one sister, Linda Doss of Oregon; two grandsons and one granddaughter.
Blake Allan Auld-Gowdy
Funeral services for Seminole resident Blake Allan Auld-Gowdy are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Seminole.
Revs. Carl Whitfield and Cory Callaway will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Blake passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003 at the age of 13 due to injuries sustained in a hunting accident south of Seminole.
He was born to Randall Allan Gowdy, Jr. and Roxanna Lea (Roberts) Auld on Oct. 7, 1990 in Tulsa.
Blake was a seventh-grade student at Seminole Middle School and had been a resident of Seminole since 1994, moving here from the Tulsa area.
He was a member of the Superintendent’s Honor Roll and received an academic award last school year.
Blake played basketball, baseball and football, and was a member of the Boy Scouts.
He was preceded in death by two great-grandfathers, Lewis Roberts and Maynard Linot.
Blake is survived by his parents, Dale and Roxie Auld, Seminole and Randall and Cindy Gowdy of Connecticut; two sisters, Brett Auld-Gowdy of the home and Jordan Gowdy of Connecticut; one brother, Josh Gowdy of Connecticut; three grandparents, Betty Roberts, Broken Arrow, Linda Gowdy, Cleveland and Randall Gowdy, Sr., Manford; two great-grandmothers, Marguerite Linot, Rosehill, Kan., and Mary Louise Roberts, Augusta, Kan.; eight uncles, Rusty Roberts, Rick Roberts and Rocky Roberts, all of Tulsa, Mike Auld, Shawnee, Dennis Auld and Mark Auld, both of Konawa, Steve Auld, Yukon and Brit Gowdy, Owasso; and one aunt, Stacy Campbell, Cleveland.
Casket bearers will be Nick Auld, Ryan Kenyon, Rusty Roberts, Rocky Roberts, Dennis Auld and Rick Roberts.
Honorary bearers include the seventh-grade class, Sawyer Saxon and Josh Cramer.

Calvin Grace
Funeral services for Seminole resident Calvin Layfayette Grace are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Rev. David Karges is set to officiate.
Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Grace died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home at the age of 98.
He moved to Seminole from Ada eight years ago.
He was born Oct. 6, 1904 in Logan County to William L. and Matilda (Neil) Grace.
Grace married Beulah (Tigner) Grace on Nov. 19, 1930 in Guthrie.
He was a farmer and rancher.
He was a member of Farm Bureau and a former member of Latta Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Grace was currently a member of First Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife of the home; one brother, Paul Grace of Tulsa; and one sister, Velma Dunning of Seminole.
Helen Graham
Funeral services for Seminole County resident, Helen M. Graham, are scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 7 at the St. Paul Baptist Church in Wewoka.
She passed away on June 1, 2003, at the age of 55.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1947 to Leonard and Odessa Brooks.
She was a devoted and active member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
She served in numerous capacities such as Usher, Deaconess, Missionary, Youth Choir Director, church secretary, and treasurer and was not ashamed to partake in the testimony and the workings of Jesus Christ.
Outside of her church community, she was a faithful and devoted member of the Vernon C. Brooks, #146, Order of Eastern Star, serving as local secretary.
She later became Worthy Matron of Florence Johnson, # 85 of New Lima and was soon elected as Ancient Matron of Christine Hillman Court, #82 of Wewoka.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Thurman Biscoe; her father, Leonard Brooks; her mother, Odessa Biscoe.
She is survived by her stepfather, Joseph A. Biscoe of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Josephine Willow and Henrietta Ward of Tyler, Texas; a brother, Andrew Biscoe of Arlington, Texas; two sons, Michael D. Bailey of Shreveport, La. and Billy Tip Graham, Jr. of Norman; two stepsons, Richard L. Graham, Sr. of Killeen, Texas and Russell L. Graham of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and gracious friends.
Funeral arrangements and services will be under the direction of Keller Funeral Home of Wewoka.
James W. ‘J. W.’ Graham
Memorial services James Wesley "J. W." Graham will be held Wednesday, February 26, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, Texas, with the Rev. Jonathan Jehorek.
Graham was born Aug. 25, 1926, to Doris D. and Mona Mardell Graham in Wichita, Kansas.
He died Feb. 23, 2003 following a brief illness surrounded by his family.
A World War II veteran, he served in the United States Navy.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel after 37 years of service.
On May 4, 1952, he married Charlotte Ann Grubbs, and they has shared over 50 years together.
He was member of the First Presbyterian Church of Longview.
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. His hobbies included woodworking, and collecting and restoring antique clocks.
Family activities were the centerpiece of his life. He loved spending time with his grandsons, fishing and attending O.U. sporting events.
He was very proud of their accomplishments and supported and encouraged them in every endeavor.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister Dorothy Guest.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; daughter Ginger Wilson and her husband Lonny of Midwest City, and LuAnn Young and her husband Stan of Edmond, Oklahoma; and grandsons, Justin Wilson and his wife Heather of Maquoketa, Iowa, Corey Wilson of Midwest City, and Andrew Young of Edmond; one brother, Darrell Graham of Kingston; three sisters, Charlene Campbell of Hemet, Calif., Shirley Guy of Augusta, Kansas, and Delores Looney of Vinita, OK.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family extends their deep appreciation to the physicians and nurses at Good Shepherd Medical Center for their professionalism and compassionate support.

O.U. ‘Pinto’ Gray
Funeral services for former Seminole County resident, O.U. "Pinto" Gray are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at the Community of Christ Church with Elder Freeman Whitlock officiating.
Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Seminole under the direction of Leonard and Marker of Bixby.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 at the Community of Christ Church in Seminole.
He passed from this life on Nov. 3, 2003, at the age of 83 years, three months and 20 days, in Talihina.
Gray was born on July 14, 1920 in Bridge Creek to Oscar and Pearl Estelle (Chambers) Gray.
He had grown up in the Wewoka community and lived much of his adult life in the Seminole area.
He had lived in Poteau for the last 21 years.
Gray was very proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II.
Most of his working years were spent as the plant manager for the Wills Concrete Co. in Seminole and Perryman Concrete in Okemah.
He was a longtime member of Community of Christ Church.
When he had time for himself, he loved to work in his garden, go fishing or hunting and spend time camping.
Gray was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen on July 26, 1976; his second wife, Wilma on January 23, 2001; a daughter, Anna Lee earlier this year; and a brother, Earl Gray.
He is survived by one daughter: Norma J. Wilcox-Stone and husband, Jon of Seminole, one step-daughter: Kathy Quirk and husband, Paul of Poteau, one step-son: Eddie Glenn and wife, Lynette of Howe, four sisters, Hazel Stubbs of Henryetta, Ada Bible of Wewoka, Kaye Luettgens of Wewoka and Pat Tucker of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; four brothers, Paul Rains and Bennie Rains, both of Norman, Vernon Rains of Shreveport, La. and Boyd Holson of Modesto, Calif.; nine grandchildren: Greg Smith, Pam Marker, Dwayne Bland, Kevin Bland, Scott Smith, David Quirk, Glenn Quirk, Michelle White and Grant Glenn; 11 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
Casket bearers are Greg Smith, Scott Smith, David Quirk, Glenn Quirk, Grant Glenn, Kevin Bland and Dwayne Bland.
Music will be provided by Scott Smith and Paul Quirk.
James C. Green
Graveside services for James C. Green are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Little Bethel Cemetery in Duncanville, Texas.
He died July 2, 2003, in Denton.
He was born Feb. 15, 1915.
He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
He was also a Mason and a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Juanita L. Green in Dec. 1998.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law; Georgia M. and Ollie Whittern of Highland Shores, Texas, and Penny S. and Charles Holbert of Denton, Texas; grandchildren, Sara Whittern, Elizabeth Hoser, Amy Hardy, Susan Curtis, Holly Hamilton, David Holbert and Susannah O’Bara; 11 great grandchildren; and one brother, Barney Gordon Green.
He will lie in state from 12 noon to 8 p.m., Friday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.
