Jamie Kean

Graveside services for Seminole County resident, Jamie Lynn Walker Kean are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Little Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.

She died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at the age of 26.

She was born Dec. 22, 1976, to Michael Raymond Walker and Sherry Lee McClanahan.

Kean attended Butner schools.

She married Kelly Kean in Seminole on May 22, 1993.

She is survived by her father, Micheal Walker of Washington State; her mother, Sherry McNeil of Wewoka; her husband, Kelly Kean; three children, Cora Ann, Ronnie and Leon Forest Kean, all of the home; one sister, Michelle Walker Nunn of Wewoka; one half sister, Natasha McNeil also of Wewoka; grandmothers, Dorothy McClanahan of Wewoka and Lena Faye Walker of Lawton; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Kiley Kean

Funeral services for Kiley Gabrielle Kean, newborn daughter of Norman Kyle and Lori M. (Warrenburg) Kean of Seminole, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Community Church.

Ralph Jones and Drew Isaacs will officiate. Burial will follow in Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

The baby was born and died Friday at Unity Health Center North in Shawnee.

She weighed seven pounds four ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents include Lonnie and Kim Kean and Sherry Warrenburg, all of Seminole, and Reid and Connie Warrenburg, McAlester.

Great-grandparents are Dean and Joe Booth of Norman and Nan Fowler of Seminole.

Great-great-grandmother is Alice Thrasher, Dale.

Ruby D. Keesee

Funeral services for longtime Seminole County resident, Ruby D. Keesee of Wewoka were scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 4 at the Wewoka Church of Christ in Wewoka with David Gibson and Johnny Hinton officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.

Keesee died Nov. 3, 2003, at the age of 88 in the Wewoka Nursing Center.

She was born Dec. 11, 1914, in Westfork, Ark. to Edward and Rose Sample.

She was a longtime Wewoka resident and was associated with the Security State Bank with her husband, Joel.Keesee, whom she married in Wewoka on Sept. 8, 1940.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Wewoka.

She is survived by her husband, Joel Keesee of the home, one son, Carl Keesee of Austin, Texas one daughter, Sara Gibson of Commerce, Texas; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Flora Keithley

Funeral services for lifelong Seminole County resident, Flora May (Robertson) Keithley are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole.

Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole under the direction of Swearingen Funeral home.

Keithley died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at the age of 86 at the Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole.

She was born May 19, 1917, in Hazel to William H. Robertson and Ora Velma (Barrett) Robertson.

She married Burl E. Keithley, who preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1979.

Keithley was retired from Wetumka Hospital where she was a nurse.

She was a member of the Ideal Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1977, her mother in 1992; her husband; two brothers, Arvel L. Robertson and Robert E. Lee Robertson; one sister, Ozellia Weldon and one nephew, James Ricky Robertson.

She is survived by four brothers, James A. Robertson and Roland Robertson, both of Seminole; Oland Robertson of Cleveland, Texas and W. Earl Robertson of Shawnee; two sisters, Lucellia Barber of Bangs, Texas and Retha Edmonds of Wewoka; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Michael Wayne Kelley

Funeral services for Seminole county resident, Michael Wayne Kelley, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23 at St. Louis First Baptist Church in St. Louis.

He was born on Feb. 19. 1969 in Seminole to Harold Eugene Brewer and Zella Lorene (Wise) Brewer.

He worked as a Wal-Mart support manager for 10 years in Shawnee and taught math at Choctaw Schools for one year.

He was a member of Southwest Missionary Baptist Church in Shawnee and had most recent been attending St. Louis First Baptist Church in St. Louis.

He graduated from Maud High School in 1987 and from East Central University in Ada in 1991 with his bachelor’s degree.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clarence and Hazel Wise and Clyde Brewer, and two uncles, Glen Brewer and Bill and Shirley Wise.

He is survived by his parents, Harold and Zella Brewer of Maud; grand mother, Velma Brewer of Shawnee; three brothers, Brian, James and John Brewer, all of Maud; two sisters, Michele Deathrage of Shawnee and Valerie Williams of Okemah; seven nephews; four nieces and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be officiated by Bro. Glen Peck.

Interment will follow at Tecumseh Mission Cemetery, Tecumseh, under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud.

Ellen Kiker

Funeral services for longtime Wewoka resident Ellen M. Kiker, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Wewoka.

Rev. Perry Justice will officiate.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.

Kiker died at Tulsa Regional Medical Facility in Tulsa, on Sunday, March 23, 2003, at the age of 88.

She was born March 2, 1915, to Simon and Syble McCollum Fraser.

Kiker grew up in Hughes and Seminole Counties and attended Justice schools.

She married Olen Guy Kiker on Sept. 18, 1935, and they made their home and reared their daughters in Wewoka.

Kiker was a homemaker and an active member of First Assembly of God Church, Wewoka.

She was devoted to her family and church, and will be remembered in our community as a gentle person who genuinely cared for those around her.

Kiker was preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Syble Fraser; her husband of 49 years, Olen Kiker on Feb. 4, 1984; one daughter, Patricia Kiker Nix, and an infant son, Jerry Olen Kiker in 1940.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Kay Chisum, Tulsa, and Janice Karnish, Ponca City; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Karnish, Dan Chisum, Scott Chisum, Chris Chisum, Kevin Nix, and Guy Strunk.

Zoe Neta Quinn Kiker

Funeral services for Zoa Neta Quinn Kiker are scheduled for Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka with Minister Johnny Hinton Officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery of Wewoka under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.

Kiker went home to be with her heavenly father, surrounded by family and caregibers on Oct. 25, 2003.

She was the fourth child of William Thomas Quinn and Ada Weir Quinn and was born in Beaver.

She was baptized into the Lord as a young girl in the Beaver River and her dedication to her faith continued throughout her life.

Kiker was educated in the Beaver schools and received her teaching credentials after attending Panhandle A.M. in Goodwell.

She began teaching first grade in Beaver and one of her first students was her brother, Max, who was born twelve years after Kiker.

While teaching in Beaver, she met Hubert "Bud" Kiker and they were married Oct. 11, 1934, in her parent’s home.

They lived in many different towns due to the fact that his construction was involved in the building of bridges and overpasses in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. Wherever they lived, she was active in church as a Bible school teacher and a member of the choic.

She worked as a volunteer in the many schools her daughters attended.

Three children were born to this union, William Davis who died at birth, Christina Ann and Kathryn Sue.

The couple enjoyed their retirement years playing golf, bridge, games with friends, fishing trips to Colorado and participating in family gatherings.

She worshipped with family and friends at Westover Hills Church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her sister, three brothers and her special son-in-law, Gib Gholston.

Survivors are her daughters, Ann Kiker Katzer and son-in-law, Charlie, and Kathy Kiker Gholston; four granddaughters, Tara Downer, Lori Young, Susan Page, Monica Katzer and two grandsons, Kyle Gholston and Mike Katzer; eleven great grandchildren, Corinne, Channing, Chelsea and Candace Young, Ryan and Elise Downer, Tiffany, Amy and Eric Gholston and Riley and Gabby Page.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Retirement and Nursing Home as well as the Lone Star Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.

Thomas Killingsworth

Graveside services for Thomsa "Tom" Lynn Killingsworth, relative of Seminole residents, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Park of Shawnee.

He died on April 9, 2003 at the age of 50 in Shawnee.

Dr. Paul Calmes will officiate under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Clifford Kimery

Clifford Kimery was born on September 19, 1916 in Prague and departed this life on April 17, 2003 in Norman at the age of 86.

Clifford was the son of Jake Francis and Ethel (Herndon) Kimery.

He was a life-long resident or Prague and was a member of the Church of Christ at Little and the American Legion.

He graduated from Prague High School with the Class of 1934.

After returning from service in the military during World War II, he and his brother, Harold, founded Prague Electric and he worked as an electrician until his retirement.

Clifford married Lucille J. Duncan and she preceded him in death on February 17, 1972.

He later married Rachel (McDaniel) Reynolds in August of 1973.

She died on May 8, 1997.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harold and Cecil Kimrey and one son, Allen Kimery.

Survivors include one son Steve Kimery of Oklahoma City; one brother, Edward Kimery of Prague; three grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rusty Dawson officiating.

Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
