Funeral services for Seminole County resident, Howard Nall of Wewoka, are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Wewoka Church of Christ.
Johnny Hinton will officiate.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
He died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at the age of 94, at the Wewoka Nursing Center.
He was born Nov. 15, 1908, in Eufaula to Hugh Nall and Dora A. (Halk) Nall.
His wife, Mildred preceded him in death on Feb. 24, 2001,
Nall was reared in Eufaula and attended schools there.
He was a heavy equipment operator and worked in the oil fields and construction.
He retired in 1974.
Nall attended the Wewoka Church of Christ and was baptized in Sept. 1938.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Delta Lynn Nall, one son, Joe Phillip Nall; his parents; and his wife, Mildred.
He is survived by one sister, Anna Weirick of Bakersfield, Calif.
Pallbearers will be Larry Bailey, Brian Cain, Raymond Cain, Dewey Muirhead, Max Smith and Ray Stafford.
Honorary pallbearers are James Hart, Rowdy Kincade and David O’Donnell..
F. Clorene Neal
Funeral services for longtime Seminole County resident, F. Clorene Neal were scheduled for 2 p.m. on June 24 at the Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
She died June 21, 2003, at the age of 97, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.
She was born on March 27, 1906 in Mansfield, Texas to Edmond C. Spearman, Jr. and Jennie Gertrude (Pearson) Spearman.
She was married to L.D. Neal, Sr. in 1924 in Cement.
She was a longtime Konawa resident, moving her from Cement in 1933.
She was a resident of Bartlesville for the past seven years.
She and her husband operated a grocery store in Konawa for several years.
She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Konawa where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Amoranth for many years.
She served as Mother Advisor to the Rainbow Girls Assembly.
One of her proudest achievements was being a charter member of The Konawa Memorial Library.
She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, fishing, arts, crafts and traveling.
In her later years, she was a representative for senior citizens as a green thumb worker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.D. Neal, Sr. in 1970; and one sister, Beatrice Spearman.
She is survived by one son, Lowell Neal of Bartlesville; one granddaughter; two great grandchildren; and two nieces and a host of other family and friends.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Charley Henthorn.
Interment was scheduled to follow in Konawa City Cemetery under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church in Konawa in Mrs. Neal’s memory.
Lois G. Neal
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Lois G. Neal are scheduled for Wednesday, July 23 at the Seminole Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m.
She died July 20, 2003, at the age of 88 in the Unity Hospital.
She was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Atwood to W.V. Lewis and Stella Stallings Lewis.
She attended schools at Atwood and Married Robert L. Cain on March 4, 1938, who preceded her in death.
Later she married J.T. Neil and they were married for three years, living in Davis, until his death in 1971.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by one daughter, Sue and husband, Doe McRay of Seminole; one son, Larry Cain of Tulsa; five grandchildren, Todd and wife, Laura McRay of Magnum, Dr. Bryan and wife, Sunny McRay of Seminole, Amy McRay of Oklahoma City, Tracy and husband, John Priddy of Tulsa and Jeffrey (Jake) Cain of Tulsa; five great grandchildren, Darcey and Whitney McRay, Jake and Jaxen McRay and Cole Priddy; three sisters Wynema Ferguson of Calif., Peggy Peterson of Rogers, Ark. and Patty Plunk of Seminole.
Officiating the services will be Christ Stinnett.
Interment will follow at Atwood Cemetery.
‘Everett’ Neal
Funeral services for longtime Seminole County resident, Noah "Everett" Neal are scheduled for Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
He died June 7, 2003, at the age of 83, at the Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada.
He was born on Jan. 18, 1920, in Konawa, to William Harmon Neal and Willie Etta (Cargle).
He worked many years for the railroad and in the oilfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lewis and Otis Neal; and two sisters, Inez Walker and Cora Thompson.
He is survived by two sisters, Zora Branscum and Geneva Nelson, both of Konawa; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Dovie Harris will officiate the services.
Interment is to follow to Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home.
Agnes Nealon
Graveside services for Maud resident Agnes Irene Nealon are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Okmulgee Cemetery in Okmulgee.
Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Nealon died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003 at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada at the age of 84.
She was born to Patrick John Nealon and Gertrude M. (Keeley) Nealon on Feb. 18, 1919 in Okmulgee.
Nealon was a long-time Konawa resident.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Nealon is survived by one sister-in-law, Mrs. Onva Nealon, McAlester; three nieces, Patty Wiggins of Virginia, Terri Williams, Frederick and Barbara Pfrehm, Oklahoma City; and two nephews, Pat Nealon, Hutchinson, Kan., and Mike Nealon, McAlester.
Carl Neeley
Funeral services for Carl C. Neeley, a resident of the Konawa/Asher area, were held Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Asher.
Rev. Dewayne Johnson officiated the services.
A graveside service followed at the Spring Hill Cemetery, southeast of Poteau, under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Neeley died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 82.
He was born to George Henry Neeley and Rose Pearl (Clopton) Neeley on May 4, 1921 in Monroe.
Neeley married Liddie Marie Tate in 1944 in Poteau, she preceded him in death in 1982.
He later married Betty Treat, she preceded him in death in 1991.
Neeley moved to the Asher area in 1979, and was a retired exterminator.
He also sold produce in many communities around the Asher area, becoming known as "Mr. Neeley the Vegetable Man."
Neeley was of Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Liddie; his second wife, Betty Neeley; one daughter, Rosa Filpot in 1992; and several brothers and sisters.
Neeley is survived by two sons, Carl H. Neeley, Asher, and Michael W. Neeley, Granite; one daughter, Shirley Anglin, Holdenville; one brother, Floyd Neeley, Anaheim, Calif.; one sister, Annie Rodgers of Idaho; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
LaVonna Neese
Graveside services for Bowlegs native LaVonna Denise Neese are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Davenport Cemetery in Davenport.
Services will be under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Wetumka.
Neese died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 32.
She was born to Jerry Watson and Linda (Lewis) Watson in Chandler on Sept. 17, 1971.
Neese was raised in he Davenport and Bowlegs areas and graduated from Bowlegs High School.
She attended Wes Watkins Vo-Tech and received training as a Certified Nurses Aide, and worked in the home health field for many years.
She married Terry Neese in 1989.
Neese enjoyed art, drawing, reading, music and scrap booking.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Neese, Bowlegs; one son, Colton Neese, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Jessica Neese, Oklahoma City; mother and step-father, Linda and Gary King; one brother, Casey King of Arizona; one sister, Trista Watson, Davenport; her maternal grandmother, Hazel Lewis, Stroud; and paternal grandmother, Inez Dodson, Stroud.
