DALLAS, TEXAS – Funeral services for former Wewoka resident James M. Roberts are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel.
Interment is to follow in the Meadow of Reflection section of Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Roberts died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002 at the age of 83.
His college years were interrupted by World War II.
While in the Army, he served overseas in England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany, and Czechoslovakia, attaining the rank of captain.
Roberts was awarded the Silver Star Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the American Defense Ribbon, and the EAME Theater Ribbon with five Bronze Battle Stars and one Arrowhead.
After the war, he returned home to complete his education at Oklahoma University, earning his degree in Petroleum Geology.
After two introductory years with Carter Oil Co., he joined Mobil Oil’s International Department with assignments in Columbia, Venezuela, Libya, and ultimately in Iran as the manager of Mobil’s Iranian operations.
He is survived by his wife, Corinne; three sons, Chris, Jeff and Gregg; one grandson; and two sisters, Joan Ligon and Mary Adelyn Knox.
Pallbearers are Charles Hays, Blanchard Pritchard, George Perry, Glen Park, Tom Keating, and Dr. Edward Reis.
Clayton Roberts
Graveside services for Clayton Dwight Roberts were scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Little Cemetery.
He was born and died on April 14, 2003 in Wewoka.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher Roberts and Rose Clark and his grandparents, Janet Clark of Wewoka and Dwight and Teena Roberts of Seminole.
Rev. Lee Jones will be the officiating minister under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Adin Robertson
Funeral services for Adin Robertson, infant son of Seminole County resident, Jessica R. Robertson are pending with Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
He died Dec. 12, 2003, at the age of three months.
He was born Aug. 28, 2003.
Aidan Ray Smith Robertson
Funeral services for three-month old baby Aidan Ray Smith Robertson, son of Seminole residents Dustin Smith and Jessica R. Robertson, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Roger Brewer will officiate.
Burial will follow at Wolf, and will be under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Roberston died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at Seminole Medical Center.
He was born to Dustin Smith and Jessica R. Robertson on Aug. 23, 2003 at OKC.
Robertson is survived by his parents; grandparents Felix Ray Robertson and Anna Marie M. Robertson, both of Seminole, and John and Peggy Smith, Earlsboro; great-grandparents, Hyatt E. Cayton and Patricia Cayton, Seminole; aunts and uncles, Megan M. Robertson, Okmulgee, Jody Robertson, Seminole, Dixie Smith, Michelle Smith, Tammy Smith, and Dalton Winkcompleck, all of Earlsboro.
LaDonna Robertson
Funeral services for Seminole County resident, LaDonna "Donna" Robertson, Wewoka, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5 at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka
Doug Arnold will officiate, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka.
Robertson died Dec. 3, 2003, at the age of 54 in the Seminole Medical Center.
She was a resident of Wewoka, attended Wewoka Schools and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was born to Verlin Lee and Jonell Thompson Hilligoss on Oct. 16, 1949 and married Earl Robertson on April 1, 1971.
Robertson is survived by her husband, Earl Robertson of the home, three children, John Hilligoss of Cushing, Jason Robertson and Desree Morris, both of Wewoka; one grandchild; one brother, Johnny L. Hilligoss of Shelton, Wash.; and one sister, Diana Bleeker of Wewoka.
Tommy Robertson
A celebration of life in honor of longtime Seminole resident Tommy Lee Robertson is scheduled at the family’s home at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Robertson died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003 at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 54.
He was born July 26, 1948 in Holdenville to Felix Marion Robertson and Gloria June (Morris) Sadler.
He married Terri (Arnold) on June 21, 1996 in Bowlegs.
Robertson was retired from the oilfield and construction.
He was a veteran of the Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Robertson is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Tommy Lee Robertson II of South Carolina and Jeffrey Bush of the home; six daughters, Tammi Douthit of Bowlegs, Laurie Lehman of Cromwell, Lisa Graham and Misty Pratt, both of Seminole, Jacqi Bush of the home, and Darla Aycox of Oklahoma City; one brother, Ray Robertson of Seminole; and nine grandchildren.
Mozelle Robinson
Funeral services for former Wewoka resident, Mozelle Robinson are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Redeemer located at 2100 N. Martin Luther King in Oklahoma City.
Robinson died April 23, 2003 in Deaconess Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1918 in Okmulgee to Curly and Ophelia Washington Ross.
She attended Douglas High School in Wewoka.
She worked for OG&E for 34 years and retired in 1981.
She married Raymond Robinson who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn King of Wewoka; four grandsons; 14 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be officiated by McKay Davis Funeral Home of Oklahoma City
Interment will follow to Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Nolen Gene Robinson
Funeral services for native Seminole County resident, Nolen Gene Robinson are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Okemah.
He died Aug. 19, 2003, at the age of 74 in his home west of Okemah.
He was born June 19, 1929, in Wolfe to Odis Dean and Sarah Jean Robinson.
He had been a resident of Okemah area most of his life having attended the Freewill Baptist Church.
He was a deputy sheriff for Seminole County for many years and later worked with the Wewoka Police Department.
After working in law enforcement, he worked in the oilfield before retirement.
He married Ramona Cully Feb. 10, 1984 in Holdenville.
He served his country with the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Odis Dean Robinson; and two brothers, Neal and Norval Robinson.
He is survived by his wire, Ramona Robinson of Okemah; three sons, Nolen Robinson of Coweta, Craig Robinson and Johnny Robinson both of Holdenville; four daughters, Lois Milon of Tulsa, Sonya Larimer and Beth Hill, both of Holdenville and Jennifer Robinson of the home; one sister, Mary Hotaling of Pasadena, Texas; four step sons, Michael Factor of Oklahoma City, Harry Factor of Wewoka, George Factor of Wetumka and Charlie Factor of Weatherford; two step daughters, Linda Coody of Sasakwa and Patricia Thomas of Ada; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Serving as active pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Factor, George Factor, Charlie Factor, Ray Larimer, Jay Hill and Marty Milton.
Interment is to follow at the Sand Creek Cemetery in Seminole County.
Services will be officiated by Rev. Doug Arnold.

Dorothy Rogers
Funeral services for former Seminole resident, Dorothy Josephine Starkey Jones Rogers, of Holdenville are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Chapel of Walker Funeral Service in Shawnee.
Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee.
She died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at the age of 87 in Shawnee.
She was born Dec. 24, 1915, in Jones to Lawrence Hale Starkey and Dora Lee (Bozarth) Starkey.
She attended Okmulgee Tech and retired from Westinghouse Electric.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Holdenville.
She loved gardening, growing roses and spending time with her grandchildren.
She married Fred Albert Jones Oct. 23, 1931 in Konawa
He preceded her indeath on Feb. 4, 1972.
On Dec. 20, 1976, she married Lyndell Rogers and he preceded her in death July 3, 1993.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Albert Jones Jr.; second husband, Lyndell Rogers; two sons, Fred Jones III and Oakley B. Jones; two grandsons, Jackie Don Clayton and Robert Wayne Jones; five brothers, Ackley, Oakley, Robert, Elmer and Sam Starkey; and one sister, Iva Duncan.
She is survived by three sons, Dale Jones of Sasakwa, Alan Jones of Edmond and Larry Jones of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Jan Wilson of Wewoka, Jackie Clayton of McLoud and Judi Smith of McAlester; two brothers, John Starkey of Okemah and Raymond Starkey of Okmulgee; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
