Funeral services for native Seminole County resident, Terry Wayne "Butch" Taylor will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26 at the Hudson Phillips Chapel, Holdenville.
Chaplain Bud Roff will officiate.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
He died Aug. 22, 2003, at the age of 53 in his home.
He was born June 11, 1950, in Wewoka to Albert Morris and Frankie Louise (Howell) Taylor.
He attended school at Union High School in Broken Arrow, where he graduated.
He married Vickie Neill on March 16, 1973 in Sherman Texas.
He had worked for Tyson Pork Group as a truck driver for more than seven years.
He was a member of the Wewoka Light Horseman Roundup Club and was the past president for many years.
He was also a member of the Wewoka Country Club Golf Association.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Louise Taylor; two sisters, Penny Jean Barry and Mary Kathryn Anglin; and one brother, Rodney Morris Taylor.
He is survived by Vickie Taylor of the home, one son, Shane Taylor aof Calvin; one daughter, Jenetta Taylor of Wewoka; his father, Albert Morris Taylor of Coweta; two sisters, Linda Mead of Smithland, Ia. and Judy Goodnight of Coweta; one brother, David Taylor of Wewoka; many nieces, nephews and a special friend, Jana; and other relatives and friends.
Joe Thomas
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Joe Thomas are scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
He was born April 9, 1932 to Lester Lee Thomas and Dora Hall (Carver) Thomas in Durant.
He died at the age of 70, on April 1, 2003, at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Norman.
He was married to Linda O’Bryant on October 30, 1972 in Oklahoma City.
He worked for Southwestern Bell until his retirement as construction supervisor.
He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt. during the Korean conflict.
He was a member of Twin Oak Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by one son, Danny Thomas of Bonham, Texas; and four daughters and sons in law, Ann Wright of Katy Texas, Rose Stamile of Inola, Kim and Joe Brauning and Audra and Curtis Young, all of Seminole; nine grandchildren including Mindy and Shelby Brauning of Seminole and Autumn and Dathan Thomas of Seminole; one brother, Newman Thomas of Durant and one sister, Mildred Holt of Esparto, Calif.
Officiating will be Revs. Don Smith and Eddie Russell.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Charles Pechacek, Jeff Davis, Everett McGuire, Tommy Rammage, John Lovelady and Dale Story.

Kimberly Thomas
Funeral services for Konawa resident Kimerly Ann (Duncan) Thomas are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in St. Louis, under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.
Glenn C. Peck is set to officiate.
Interment is to follow, at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Thomas died Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at Valley View Hospital in Ada. She was 37 years old.
Thomas was born on Oct. 10, 1965, in Ada.
She lived in the Konawa area all her life, attending Konawa and Vamoosa schools.
Thomas was a hair stylist before becoming ill.
She was a member of the St. Louis Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by friend Ruth Sharver on Nov. 30, 2000.
Thomas is survived by lifelong friends Melody Sharver of the home, Quennion Sharver, David and Virginia Sharver, Jamie and Aaliyah Sharver, Leallen Sharver, and W.C. Sharver.
Marjorie Thomas
Funeral services for Seminole resident Marjorie (Lee) Thomas were set for May 27 at 2 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Henryetta.
Thomas died at Seminole Medical Center on May 24, 2003 at the age of 93.
She was born May 12, 1910 at Holdenville to Joe and Leona Lee and attended school at Hanna.
She married Cecil Thomas on October 6, 1928 and they lived near Dustin for several years before buying a farm near Henryetta in 1943.
A few years after their marriage, Cecil began preaching.
In 1950, they went into fulltime ministry, moving to Bowlegs where they pastored the Assembly of God Church for 17 years.
They then moved to Barnsdall where they pastored the Assembly of God Church two years prior to retirement.
They moved back to Henryetta in 1978 and her husband passed away in 1985.
They were married 56 years.
Her husband, her parents, four brothers, Cana Lee, Pike Lee, Mark Lee, Herbert Lee; and three sisters, Hazel Lee, Elsie Lee Thomas and Mildred Lee Barker preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters; Gene Thomas and wife, Mary, of Ponca City, Noma Mansell and husband, Sam, of Seminole, Mildred Melton and husband, Eugene, of Wichita, Kan., and Bill Thomas and wife, Linda, of Kennard, Texas; nine grandchildren, Sharon Thomas Hunt, Robert Thomas, Mark Mansell, Scott Mansell, Steve Melton, Doug Melton, Ann Melton Caley, Tammy Thomas Salles and Jeff Thomas; 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Rev. Roy H. Robertson of Bowlegs will officiate the services, assisted by Rev. Ken Hunt of Springfield, Mo.
Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery at Henryetta under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
A memorial has been established for the Missions Department of the Assemblies of God.

Orville Thomas
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Orville B. "OB" Thomas are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka.
Rev. Steve Cline will officiate.
Flag ceremonies will be performed by VFW Post 1311, of Wewoka.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
Thomas died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at his home at the age of 77.
He was born to Elbert Marion Thomas and Lennie Orine (Jackson) Thomas on Feb. 1, 1926 in Treece, Kan.
Thomas was reared in Seminole County and graduated from Wewoka High School.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Thomas was in the Medical Company, 30th Infantry Regiment, and upon reenlistment, he served in Korea attached to the Motor Pool.
While in the service, he married Wanda King on Nov. 5, 1951, and then finished his tour in Korea.
Thomas then was stationed at Ft. Sill and then reassigned to the 42nd Engineer Corps at Ft. Richardson Army Base in Anchorage, Alaska.
He was discharged in 1953 and remained in Alaska until 1964, when the couple returned to Oklahoma.
During civilian life, Thomas worked for Brown and Root Construction Company as a certified welder, and at the Atomic Energy Commission.
He was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, and he raised, trained, and raced quarter horses.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wanda King Thomas, of the home; his children, Orville B. Thomas, Jr., Houston, Texas, Darrel Wayne Thomas, Mose’s Lake, Wash., and Donald Lee Thomas and Lisa Thomas Cotterman, both of Wewoka; one brother, Bill B. Galyon, Hugo; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Don Wade, George Watts, Roy Thomas, Logan Thomas, Russell Cotterman, and Dale Lemons.
Taj Adam Thomas
Funeral services for Taj Adam Thomas are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Building located at the Harrah-Newalla Road and Highway 9.
Wake services are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Building, with the viewing beginning on Friday morning.
He died Aug. 5, 2003, at the age of 24 in Shawnee.
He was born Jan. 3, 1978 in Norman to Robert Lee Thomas and Teresa Ann (Williams) Thomas.
He attended school in Shawnee and received his GED.
He was reared in Little Axe and Shawnee. He was a carpenter in home remodeling.
He was also a member of the Pawnee, Absentee Shawnee and Creek Tribes.
He attended the New Life Church of Jesus Christ.
He enjoyed playing pool, lifting weights, skateboarding and riding bikes with his younger brothers.
He was also a poet and enjoyed reading and music.
He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Eunice Longman Williams; grandfathers, Robert L. Thomas, Sr. and Arthur Williams; uncle, Barry Williams and one brother, Derrick ‘Beau’ Deer.
He is survived by his parents, Bobby Thomas of Pawnee and Annie Thomas of Shawnee; three brothers, Miles and Joel Thomas of the home and B.T. Thomas of Shawnee; grandparents, Patricia Williams of Shawnee and Estelle and Thomas Stevens of McLoud; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be officiated by Pastor Betty Young.
Internment will follow at Williams Family Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
