Graveside services for Johnny Dee Gray, of Hugo, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 19, 2002 at the Springs Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Andrew Pierce officiated the ceremony. Internment followed at the Springs Hill Chapel in Hugo.

Johnny Dee Gray died Dec. 16, 2002 in Hugo. he was 70.
Johnny Dee Gray was born Feb. 5, 1932 in Hugo to Almon Monroe and Margaret Dixie (Bohanon) Gray. He married betty Jo Miller in March of 1952 in Hugo.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two daughters, Debra Nelson of Hugo and Sondra Jo Ojeda of Oklahoma City; one step-brother, Walter Janoe; four sisters, Sue Merimon and Laura Taylor, both of Antlers, Barbara Mayviell of Mo. and Cindy Hornbuckle of Paris, Texas; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Annette Ware
Services for Annette Ware, formerly of Grant, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 21, 2002 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry Alberty officiated the ceremony.
Annette Ware died Dec. 11, 2002 at the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was 41.
Annette Ware is survived by one son, Roderick Ware of Denton, Texas; one daughter, Koteka Ware of Oklahoma City; her mother, Rosie Ware of Grant; three brothers, Lester Ware of Abilene, Texas, dale Ware of Oklahoma City and Elrey Ware of Springdale, Ark.; four sisters, Rose M. Buckner of Mesquite, Texas, Ester McCleary of Paris, Texas, Cassandra Alberty of Grant and Jeanette Drumgoole of Denton, Texas and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jim Acuna
Services for Jim Acuna, of Durant, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 18, 2002 at the Goodsprings Presbyterian Church in Boswell. The Rev. Wharton officiated the ceremony. He was assisted by Chaplain Phillip Payne. Internment followed at the Goodsprings Cemetery in Boswell.
Jim Acuna died Dec. 16, 2002 at his home in Durant. He was 60.
Jim was born April 17, 1942 in Nordheim, Texas to Genovevo Acuna, Sr. and Cruz (Elizondo) Acuna.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rey Acuna and one brother, Raymond Acuna.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Stevens) Acuna; eight sons, Joe Acuna, Genovevo Acuna III, David Acuna and Ricky Acuna, all of Sentinel, and Bobby Acuna, Justin Acuna, Brian Acuna and Jerry Acuna, all of Durant; two daughters, Sandy Garza Acuna of Wahalla, S.C. and Josephine Munoz Acuna of Sentinel; two brothers, Raymundo Acuno of Holiday, Texas and Raynaldo Acuna of Olney, Texas; three sisters, Emelisa Acuna of DeQueen, Ark., and Cruz Acuna and Ester Acuna, both of Fredrick; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Wilma Clifton
Wilma Clifton, of Hugo, died Dec. 16, 2002 at the Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo. She was 88.
Wilma Clifton was born Nov. 11, 1914. She married Charlie Clifton, to whom she was married for 71 years.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Wilburn Clifton, Jimmy Clifton and Jerry Clifton.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie, of Hugo; two sons, Charlie Eugene Clifton of Rattan and Tommy Clifton of Anderson, Ca. and one daughter, Bessie Martin of Eagletown.
A private ceremony was held at a later date.

Henry O. Wilkins
Services for Henry O. Wilkins, of Hugo, were at 11 a.m. Dec. 18, 2002 at the Mt. Olive Funeral Home Chapel in Hugo. The Rev. Charles Green officiated the ceremony. Internment followed at the Sawyer Cemetery.

Henry O. Wilkins died Dec. 16, 2002 at the Kendred Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was 88.
Henry O. Wilkins was born Aug. 26, 1914 in Booneville, Ark. to son James and Clara (Looper) Wilkins. He married Inez Burton Nov. 13, 1988 in Hugo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one daughter, Mamie Helen Wilkins.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Wilkins of Hugo; two daughters, Linda Knight of Hugo and Judy Alder of Greenville, Texas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Jacob Palmer Workman, of Hugo, died Dec. 15, 2002 in Oklahoma City. He was 7 months old.
Jacob Palmer Workman was born May 13, 2002 in Durant to Robby & Kimberly Workman.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jasper Wesley Workman on June 1, 2002; his great-grandparents, Jacob and Viola Workman and Wesley Heady.
He is survived by his parents, Robby and Kimberly Workman of Hugo; grandparents, Steve & Betty Smith and Bobby & Joyce Workman, all of Hugo; great-grandparents, Dorothy Heady of Hugo and Bobby & Nadine Bridges of Antlers.
