Funeral services for Maud native, Tommy Babb are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Spirit Rain Christian Center, Shawnee.
Dr. Carol Hopper will officiate, with burial following at the Tecumseh Cemetery, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
Babb died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, in Lawton at the age of 58.
He was born Oct. 8, 1945, in Maud, to William Zebedee and Zula Mae (Davidson) Babb.
He grew up in Seminole and Shawnee areas, before moving to Lawton, were he lived for the past year.
He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and worked in construction most of his life. He was also a member of the Gideons International and Spirit Rain Christian Center.
He married Deborah Stewart on July 23, 1991.
He enjoyed woodcarving, art, sculpting, cooking, fishing and golf.
He is survived by his wife Deborah, of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Shane and Doris Babb of Lawton, and Joey Vinson of Bethel; stepson and spouse, Brian and Theresa Mitchell of Shawnee; three grandchildren, Sara Babb, Hannah Mitchell, and Drew Mitchell.
He is also survived by his mother, Zula "Scooter" Babb of Barnsdall, and five brothers, Donald Lee Babb of Wewoka, Jimmy Charles Babb of Arkansas City, Kan., Ronnie Gene Babb of Oklahoma City, and Ricky Lynn Babb of Yukon; and one sister, Kathy Darlene Babb Martinez of Barnsdall.
He was preceded in death by his father; two children, Jamie Michelle Babb and Stephen Laird Babb; brother, Virgil Ray Babb; and sister, Betty Jo Chambers.

Double Funeral Held Monday for Konawa Couple Killed in Crash
A Konawa couple killed in Friday night’s fatal accident were buried together yesterday in Vamoosa Cemetery north of Konawa.
The funeral services for Konawa residents Robert Gerald "Scruffy" Bailey and his wife Camilla Pearl (Brewer) Bailey were held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 28, at the Church of Christ in Konawa.
The services were under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, and were officiated by Kevin Duck and Frank Brewer.
Burial followed at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Robert Bailey, 56, and Camilla Bailey, 59, died Friday, June 25, 2004, several miles north of Konawa in a two-car accident.
Camilla was born in Amarillo, Texas, on Aug. 8, 1944, to Albert Holik and Fern Elizabeth (Walker) Holik.
Robert was born on March 23, 1948, to Lonnie Sam Bailey and Imogene (Yerby) Bailey, also in Amarillo.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Camilla, a hairdresser, moved to Ada, and then came to Konawa 31 years ago. Robert, a handyman, came to Konawa four years ago, from Amarillo, Texas.
The two were married in Konawa on Nov. 15, 2000.
Robert was a Baptist, Camilla a member of the Church of Christ.
Camilla was preceded in death by her father and her first husband, Ben Brewer.
She is survived by her mother, Fern Holik of Konawa; a son, Randall Brewer of Ada; a daughter, Janette Duck of Konawa; two brothers, George Holik of Weston, Colo., and Johnny Holik of Cromwell; and four grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Imogene Bailey of Konawa; a brother, Clinton Wade Bailey of Florida; and a sister, Marian Catherine Gibson of Alvin, Texas.
Pallbearers were Mike Boren, Gerald Jackson, Carl Wyatt, Jim Lowe, Homer Downey and David Brewer.
Marion Banta
Graveside services for longtime Seminole County resident, Marion Alta (Hill) Banta of Maud are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9 at the Cummings Cemetery in Maud with Rev. Tim Martin officiating.
Services are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud.
Banta died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at the age of 83 at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
She was born Aug. 8, 1915, in New Mexico to Charles Hill and Gladys (Thorton) Hill.
She was married to Jack Banta who preceded her in death.
She was a hmemaker.
She lived in Maud for the past 20 years, moving from Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack on March 30, 1988; one brother Carl Hill in Nov. 1988 and one sister, Elsie Cross in July 1988.
She is survived by one nephew, Carl Cook; one great niece, Cara Pierce; and three great nephews, Michael Cook, Robert Cook and Bryan Cook, all of Oklahoma City.
John Barnes
Graveside services for Wewoka resident John Barnes were scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
Barnes died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at the age of 68.
He was born in Ft. Supply on Aug. 28, 1936.
Barnes moved to Oakridge Home in Wewoka in 1993 from the Ridgecrest Community Living Center in Altus.
He is survived by his friends in Altus and Wewoka.
Ellen Marie Barry
Funeral services for Ellen Marie (Krulish) Barry, 95, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tues. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephen Haney officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee.
Barry was born in Jersey City, N.J. to William August and Ida Mae (Rittenhouse) Krulish on July 9, 1909. She died on Aug. 12, 2004 at Seminole Estates Nursing Center.
She moved to Seminole from Garwood, N.J., 12 years ago. Barry worked in a garment factory and loved to sew and read. She was a devoted mother, always putting her family and church family first.
Barry served on several committees, a good shepherd calling on shut-ins from the Garwood Presbyterian Church, where she was a member for 55 years before moving to Oklahoma.
She enjoyed playing dominoes at the Heritage House, as well as volunteering there.
Barry was a member of the First Christian Church in Seminole, Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.), Christian Women’s Fellowship (C.W.F.), and was a member of the Sunshine Workers H.C.E.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Herb Walter and Peg Barry of Garwood, N.J.; daughters and son-in-law, Edna Grace and Jack Sullivan of Seminole, Carol Marie and Vito La Grande of New Port Richey, Fla.; and sister, Ida Jeanette Klinder of Wayne, N.J.
Additional survivors are five grandchildren and their spouses, Jay and Dawn Sullivan, Mark and Cindy Sullivan, Linda and Christopher Howard, Leona and Tom Beadle, Herb Walter and Collette Barry; two stepgrandsons, Eric Behrsin, and Bryan Behrsin; nine great-grandchildren, Jill Sullivan, Kylee Sullivan, Chase Sullivan, Amy Sullivan, Richard Beadle, Rachael Beadle, Christopher Howard, Allison Howard, and Shane Barry.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Edna Grace Reilly and Vera Mae Crowley; brother, William August Krulish; and grandson, Kenneth Barry.
Eva Barry
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Eva Barry are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah with Rev. Jeannie McMahan officiating.
Interment is to follow services at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
Barry, 91, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004 in Oklahoma City. She was born Sept. 28, 1913 in Okemah to Everett Burnett and Grace (Lowrimore) Burnett.
She graduated from Okemah High School and moved away from the area in 1971. Barry was a homemaker and belonged to the Presbyterian Church.
On Dec. 5, 1934 she married William Nichols "Bud" Barry and he preceded her in death in 1968. She later married Ferman Cheatwood and he also preceded her in death.
A son, W.N. Barry III, and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Her daughter Maeve Baker of Oklahoma City, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren survive her.
Serving as pallbearers will be Curtis Lemmons, Clarke baker, Jason Sutterfield, J.R. Suarez, Jerry Estes and Jim Burkey.

Funeral service for Seminole native, Nancy Lorenda Barton are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, April 30 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Barton died Monday, April 26, 2004, at the age of 66 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Miss.
She was born Oct. 1, 1937, in Seminole to William Gentry and Malissa (Shaver) Gentry.
She was married to Kenneth Barton Jr. and was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Barton Jr. of the home; two sons, William Gentry Barton of Alvin, Texas and Kenneth Barton III of Columbus, Miss.; three daughters, Frieda Betty Wade of Alvin, Texas, Mallissa Allison and Carmela S. Inmon, both of Columbus, Miss.; three sisters, Louise Mayfield of Matagorda, Texas, Dee Goodwin of Murrieta, Calif. and Mary Payne of Hominy; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Margie C. (Clagg) Bath
Memorial mass for former Seminole resident Margie C. Bath, 65, is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Monday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church with Father Maurus Jaeb.
Bath died Sept. 28, 2004 in Midwest City. She was born Jan. 24, 1939 in Seminole to Noah Lee and Ola (King) Clagg.
She married John R. Bath on June 19, 1962. She graduated from Seminole High School and worked with Sears and Wal-Mart in retail sales for over 30 years.
Bath was a member of St. Benedict’s Parish and enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Her parents and son, Richard W. Bath preceded her in death.
Surviving her are her husband of the home; son James D. Bath of Pacific, Calif.; two brothers, Raymond Clagg of Shawnee, and Harold Clagg of Newalla; two sisters, Berchie Button of Shawnee, and Wynema Anderson of Newalla; and one grandchild.
