Graveside services for Seminole County resident, Gary Don Campbell are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Mathew Brown, OSB officiating.
Services are under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
He died Monday, May 31, 2004, at the age of 48 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 19, 1956, in Oklahoma City to Donald Gene Campbell and Patricia Marie (Semtner) Campbell.
He worked in the oilfields and was a truck driver for many years.
He was of the Catholic faith and had been a Konawa resident since 1980.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Campbell; one daughter, Shawna Campbell; and one, grandson, Tyler Campbell.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Campbell and grandmother, Pearl Campbell, both of Konawa; one son, Gregory Campbell of Shawnee; four brothers, Tim and Michael Campbell, both of Konawa, Mark and Stephen Campbell, both of Piedmont; one sister, Sheryl Sharber of Okemah and three grandchildren.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Tim Campbell, Mark Campbell, Stephen Campbell, Michael Campbell, Onas Carpenter and Mark Long.
Samuel Campbell
Memorial services for Seminole County youth, Samuel Eli Campbell, of Wewoka will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.28 at the Evangelistic Center, 7 miles south of I-40 on Hwy 177, in Shawnee with Reverend Mark McIntosh officiating.
Sam died in an automobile accident on Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at the age of ten.
Sam was born Sept. 15, 1993 in Oklahoma City to Richard Campbell and Carol Jo Brown.
He was a third grade student at Butner Schools in Cromwell.
He was raised in Tecumseh and Seminole.
Campbell enjoyed basketball, fishing, watching movies and shooting his rifle.
Surviving him are his parents, Richard Campbell and Carol Jo Vance, both of Wewoka, two brothers; William Brown and Orie Hill, both of Wewoka; two sisters, Cassie Brown and Joy Campbell, both of Wewoka; and his grandfather, Jack Campbell of Jackson, Calif.; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Donations may be made to the Sammy Campbell Memorial Fund, that has been set up at the Security State Bank, 210 S. Mekusukey, Wewoka, 74884.
Tim Campbell
Funeral services for Konawa resident Tim Campbell are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at the Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa, under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home.
Richard Winters and Father Mathew Brown are set to officiate, and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Campbell died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, at Valley View Hospital in Ada, at the age of 47.
He was born in Oklahoma City on Sept. 19, 1957, to Donald Gene and Patricia Marie (Sempter) Campbell, and grew up in the Oklahoma City area.
On Jan. 4, 1984, he married Carla (Bell) Campbell in Gainesville, Texas, and in the same year moved to Konawa.
For a career, Campbell owned and operated C&C Auto Supply and the Tiger Car Wash, and was the former owner of Campbell’s Vacuum Trucks.
He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Konawa Chamber of Commerce.
Campbell was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Gary Don Campbell, and his grandfather, Woodrow Campbell.
He is survived by his mother, of Konawa; his wife, of Konawa; two sons, Eric Campbell, San Diego, Calif., and Cody Campbell of Konawa; three brothers, Mark Campbell and Stephen Campbell, both of Piedmont, and Michael Campbell of Konawa; one sister, Sheryl Sharber, of Okemah; a grandmother; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers are Tim Coffey, Terry Welcher, Kenneth Coleman, Charles Palmer, Jimmy Tooley, Kelley Neely, and Greg Walton.
Mary Carlton
Funeral services for Mary A. Sanders Carlton, mother of Seminole resident, are to be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20 at Hudson-Phillips Chapel in Holdenville with lay speaker and retired General Paul Babiak officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Carlton passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at the age of 98 in Seminole.
Carlton was born March 15, 1905, to Henry and Willie Sanders in Mississippi.
She was raised in Mississippi and later moved to Mt. Magazine in Crawford County, Arkansas near the Ft. Smith area.
Mary came to Oklahoma as a mid-wife, accompanying a family that needed her.
She spent all her adult life in Hughes County.
Mary worked in Holdenville at the Dairy Queen and the Street Car Café; she enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and crafts. She especially enjoyed making doll clothes for children for Christmas.
Carlton was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, V.L. Carlton; two sons, Wayne and Wendell; one daughter, Winona Cravens; a special nephew, Eddie Carlton; seven sisters and two brothers.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Juanita Hayes of Seminole, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Glenn R. Carmack
Memorial services for former Seminole resident Glenn R. Carmack are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Havenbrook Home Chapel in Norman.
Chaplain Harry Smith is set to officiate, with services under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
Carmack died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at his home in Norman.
He was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Bryant, to Noah and Annie (Crawford) Carmack.
He was raised in Seminole, then married Lewanda M. Turley in Okemah on Dec. 25, 1944.
Carmack spent his entire career in the oil and gas industry, working for City Service Oil Company, traveling worldwide with the company.
He retired to Oklahoma City in 1980 and then moved to Norman in 1997 to be closer to his daughter.
Carmack was a Mason and a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Glenda Ann (Punky) Hill.
Carmack is survived by his wife, Lee, of the home; a daughter, Cindy Updegraff, of Norman; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Andrew Carpitcher
Funeral services for former Seminole County resident Andrew Wayne Carpitcher are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 12 at the Rock Springs Baptist Church with Evangelist Franklin Hill and Minister Eugene Harjo officiating.
Wake services will be held at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday March 10.
He will be moved to Rock Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 11, with wake service at 7:30 p.m.
Interment will be at the Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Sasakwa, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka.
Carpitcher died Monday, March 8, 2004, at the age of 64 at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was born March 12, 1939, in Sasakwa to Titus and Lona (Harjo) Carpitcher.
He attended school at Rocky Point and Sasakwa Schools, as well as Okmulgee Vo-tech, where he learned his trade in meat processing and butchering.
He was reared in Sasakwa area until moving to Oklahoma City 1962, where he remained a resident until the time of his death.
Carpitcher married Imogene Hill on June 26, 1962, in Oklahoma City.
He worked as a professional butcher at Harris Packing Company in Oklahoma City until his retirement in 1989.
He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Sasakwa.
His parents, Titus and Lona Carpitcher and two brothers, Alfred and Sam Carpitcher preceded him in death.
Carpitcher is survived by his wife Imogene Carpitcher of the home; four children, Clarence Wayne Carpitcher, Wynona Sue Carpitcher and Rose Ann Carpitcher all of Oklahoma City, and Ronnie Cornelious Carpitcher of Hollywood, Fl.; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grand children; four sisters, Effie Lena Harjo of Wewoka, Zelda Morgan of Holdenville, and Liza Coon and Alice Walters of Sasakwa; two brothers, Bunny Carpitcher of Wewoka and Cullie Carpitcher of Sasakwa; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Walter Hill, Mickey Hill, Charles West, Harlan Moses, Cornelious Garcia, and Jim Gunville.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Trevino, Mike Trevino, Johnnie Delegado.
Cornelia Carter
Funeral services for former Seminole County resident, Cornelia "Cordia" (Argo) Carter, of Kaufman, Texas, will be Monday June 28, 2004, at 1:30 p.m., at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Wewoka with Johnny Hinton officiating.
Interment will follow at Schoolton Cemetery, north of Cromwell.
Services will be under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Carter, a former Wewoka resident died Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at the age of 97, in Kaufman, Texas.
She was born on Dec. 19, 1906, at Burneyville to Dallas and Ida (Graham) Argo.
She was reared in the Burneyville area until 1911.
She moved to Seminole County with her family in 1911, living in Cromwell where she attended Excellsor Schools.
She moved to Wewoka in 1949 and she later married Beacher Carter.
She attended Shawnee Beauty School to become a beautician, and she and her sister opened Beauty Manor Beauty Shop in Wewoka.
It remained open until her retirement in 1990.
Argo moved to Terrell, Texas, on March 31, 2003, living in the Colonial Lodge Retirement Center. She recently moved in with her nephew and nieces, where she lived until the time of her death.
Her parents, Dallas and Ida Argo, her husband, Beacher Carter, 7 sisters and 5 brothers precede her in death.
She is survived by her niece and nephew, Wayne and Margaret Johnston of Kaufman, Texas as well as a host of other family and friends.
