Oneta Mae Hall
Services for Oneta Mae Hall, formerly of Boswell, were at 10 a.m. Dec. 16, 2002 at the First Baptist Church in Boswell. Internment followed at the Restland Cemetery in Boswell.

Oneta Mae Duvall hall died dec. 13, 2002 in Hugo. She was 83.

Oneta Mae Duvall Hall was born Dec. 20, 1918 in Boswell to Ira and Allie Duvall. She married Cecil Hall in Durant Aug. 18, 1941.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hugo. She had taught school for 33 years in the McDonald Community, Crowder Prairie, Oak Ridge and Boswell area.

She was preceded in death her husband, Cecil, in 1995.

She is survived by two daughters, Gerry Lou Raper and husband Richard of Boswell, Joan Haworth and husband Mel of Hugo; two grandsons, Jeff Tucker and wife Lisa of Texarkana, Texas and Greg Tucker and wife Glenda of Paris, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Jerry David Tucker, Shelby Tucker, Brittany Tucker and Ethan Tucker; one sister, Faye Spencer of Oklahoma City; one nephew, Rex Joiner and wife Rheta of Oklahoma City; three great-nephews, Ron, Randy and Ricky Joiner and families, all of Oklahoma City and one brother-in-law, W.A. Joiner of Oklahoma City.

The Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo handled the funeral arrangements.

Jimmie Harold Wilkie
Services for Jimmie Harold Wilkie, of Hugo, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 16, 2002 at the First Assembly of God church in Hugo. The Rev. Jerry Cooper officiated the ceremony. Internment followed at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo.

Jimmie Harold Wilkie died Dec. 13, 2002 in Hugo. He was 86.

Jimmie Wilkie was born Nov. 29, 1916 in Westville to John and Edna (Wilson) Wilkie. He married Dorothy Boyd Feb. 20, 1990 in Mena, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Joy E. Wilkie.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wilkie of Hugo; three sons, James Donald Wilkie of Arlington, Texas, David Lee Wilkie of Hugo and Gary Wayne Wilkie of Grove; two daughters, Nancy Wynell Brandon of Duncanville and Joyce Ann Dickerson of Hugo; one step-son, Max Oden of Abiline, Texas; two step-daughters, Susan Ransburger of Lindale, Texas and Brenda Bodine of Kilgore, Texas; two sisters, Laura Bond and Maxine Hembree of Stillwell; eight grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

Revenia “Inell” Stuart
Services for Revenia “Inell” Stuart, of Valliant, were at 2 p.m. Dec. 17, 2002 at the Valliant Church of Christ. Virgil Romine officiated the ceremony. He was assisted by Dick Logan and Tracy Mussett. Internment followed at the Valliant Cemetery in Valliant.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 16, 2002 at the Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Valliant.

Revenia “Inell” Stuart died Dec. 14, 2002 in Paris, Texas. She was 68.

Inell was born Nov. 6, 1934 in Valliant to Aaron Lucas and Rosa (Bain) Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Larry Stuart and Gary Stuart; and one grandson, Billy Stuart, Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Stuart and Billy Stuart, both of Fort Towson; two daughters, Peggy Wortham of Millerton and Brenda Marshall of Valliant; two brothers, Ray Lucas of Phoenix City, Ala. and Alvin Lucas of Konawa; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Valliant handled the funeral arrangements.

R. J. Akins
Services for R.J. Akins, of Hugo, were at 2 p.m. Feb. 15, 2003 at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Leonard Fisher officiated the ceremony. Interment followed at Mt. Olive Cemetery.

The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 14, 2003 at Rogan Funeral Home in Hugo.

R. J. Akins died Feb. 10, 2003 at Pushmataha County Hospital in Antlers. He was 83.

R. J. Akins is survived by his wife, Bobbie Akins of Hugo; four sons, Tony Akins of Hugo, Charlie Akins of Dallas and Arbery & Kenneth Akins of Oklahoma City; five daughters, Ruby Jewel Ludell of Hugo, Bernice Nared of Omaha, Neb., Marsha Jordan of Las Vegas, Nev., Debra Akins of McKinney, Texas and Lori Roebuck of Pheonix, Ariz.; one brother, Johnnie B. Akins of Hugo; 33 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Rogan Funeral Home in Hugo handled the funeral arrangements.

Clara Louise Self
Graveside services for Clara Louise Self, of Soper, were at 2 p.m. Feb. 13, 2003 at the Crystal Cemetery. Bro. Don Wagner officiated the ceremony.

Clara Louise Self died Feb. 9, 2003 in Hugo. She was 84.

Clara Louise Self was born Jan. 8, 1919 in Bennington to Joseph E. & Estelle (Hutcherson) Shoemake. She married Oscar K. (Butch) Self Oct. 28, 1934 in Atoka.

Clara Self was a member of the Assembly of God church in Soper and had worked for the Choctaw Nation Home Health.
She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch Self, Feb. 1, 2000 and one great-great-grandson, Lonnie Alvarez, in December of 2002.

She is survived by two daughters, Savola “Chockie” Edge & husband Bob of Soper and Eulala (Prill) Blankenship & husband J.R. of Soper; one sister, Mary Mills of Boswell; one sister-in-law, Pauline Self of Boswell; one brother-in-law, Velton Self of Soper; three grandchildren, Clairece McClure and husband Bill of Soper, Cindy Yarbrough of Wright City and Henri Edge of Soper; three great-grandchildren, Gina Vanworth & husband Scotty of Soper and Kari & Amy Yarbrough of Wright City; and three great-great-grandchildren, Keeli Tsosie of Wright City, Davin Anna of Wright City and Alyssa Vanworth of Soper.

Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home in Hugo handled the funeral arrangements.

Sally Robertson
Services for Sally Robertson, of Lubbock, Texas, were at 2 p.m. Feb. 11, 2003 in the Sanders Funeral Home Chapel in Levelland, Texas. The Rev. Billy Capps, pastor of First Baptist Church in Smyer, officiated the ceremony. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park.

Sally Robertson, formerly of Boswell, died Feb. 8, 2003 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She was 65.

Sally was born March 9, 1937 in Boswell. She moved back to Lubbock in 1957 from Aspermont, Texas. She was married to Beryle Robertson Dec. 21, 1957 in Jayton, Texas.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Beryle D. Robertson of Lubbock, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Debra Robertson of Post, Texas and Darren and Donna Robertson of Smyer, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Robin Creel of Lubbock, Texas; three brothers, David Bacon and Joe Bacon, both of Boswell and Silas Bacon of Mt. Vernon, Texas; four sisters, Ann Calhoun of San Antonio, Texas, Mary Toeplitz of Midwest City, Frances Chandler of Calera and Esther Crowder of Anadarko; and five grandchildren, Brenna and Becky Creel, Brody Robertson and Brent and Bailey Robertson.

Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors handled the funeral arrangements.
