Funeral services for former Seminole resident Randy Deatherage, 41, of Wilburton are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
Interment is to follow services at Little Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home.
Deatherage died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004 at his home. He was born in Seminole on Oct. 25, 1963 to Dickie and Flora Deatherage.
His activities included fishing and hunting.
Preceding him in death is a brother, Ricky Deatherage and his grandparents Noel and Almira Deatherage of Seminole.
He is survived by his parents and sister, Vickie Deatherage all of Wilburton.
Buster Deer
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Buster Deer are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6 at the Hitchitee Methodist Church of Seminole with Revs. Houston Tiger and Mike Harjo officiating.
Wake services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Hitchitee Church Cemetery under the direction of the Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Deer died Monday, May 3, 2004, at the age of 80 at Seminole Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 24, 1923, in Seminole to Robert Deer and Nicey.
He was a retired roustabout for Morris Tank Service in Seminole.
He was a member of the Hitchitee Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, four brothers and his wife, Pauline Deer in 1986.
Deer is survived by one son, Larry Deere of Seminole; one step-son, James Williams of Batesvilel, Ark.; four step-daughters, Christine Hinesley of Kelleyville, Nowatha Cope of Eufaula, Sue Marie Caldwell of Greenwood, S.C. and Loisetta Nix of Seminole; two grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren as well as other relatives.
Michael Demings
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Michael Lawrence Demings of Wolf are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Wood officiating.
Interment will follow at the Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Demings died Friday, March 19, 2004, at the age of 55 at his home in Seminole (Wolf area).
He was born Dec. 5, 1948, in Wewoka to Kenneth Demings and Stella (Shirley) Riggs.
He married Bonnie Joy (Williams) Demings on Sept. 2, 1967 in Maud.
He had retired from the oilfield and attended Freewill Baptist Church in Wolf.
He was a longtime Seminole area resident and had also lived in Texas only briefly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenenth E. Demings.
Demings is survived by his mother, Stella Riggs of Shawnee and step-father, Bill Riggs; his wife, Bonnie Demings of the home; three sons, Mickey Demings of Brandon, Fla., Rickey Demings and Michael Demings, both of Seminole; one daughter, Michelle Mullen of Seminole, one brother, Kenneth Demings of Bonham, Texas; and 12 grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Les Cogburn, Timmy Mullen, Ed House, Mike Mullen, Tim McKane and Jake Dorrough.
Honorary bearers are Star Veach, Carl Smith and Bobby Rackley.
Pearl M. Denison
Funeral services for former Seminole resident, Pearl M. Denison, are scheduled for 2 p.m. on June 28 at Swearingen Funeral Chapel, Seminole.
She died June 24, 2003, at the age of 82, in Duncan.
She was born on Oct. 7, 1920 in Seminole to Bill McDaniel and Velma McDaniel.
She was married to Joe G. Denison on May 4, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church and the Seminole Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in March, 2003; one brother, Orben Ray McDaniel and one sister, Wilma J. Watson.
She is survived by one daughter, Kay Hale of Duncan; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Officiating the service will be Russell Tuck and Tracy Wilson.
Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Cameron DePasse
Graveside services for Cameron Nicole DePasse, infant daughter of local couple, are set for 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 16 at the Little Cemetery, north of Seminole.
Services will be under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
She died Friday, April 9, 2004, at the age of only two days old at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She was born April 7, 2004, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
She is survived by her parents, Trae Brendon DePasse and Lori Ann Davidson, both of Seminole; grandparents, Leanne Brooks and Gary Davidson and Cheryl and Charles DePasse, all of Seminole; as well as other relatives.
Louise (Garcia) Derfer
Graveside services for Wewoka resident Louise Derfer are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direciction of Stout Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Chesser will officiate.
Derfer died July 25, 2004 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Wewoka.
She was born Dec. 12, 1912 to Servio Garcia and Minnie (Medania) Garcia.
Derfer attended school in Colton and married Donald Derfer on April 20, 1950.
She was a housewife and mother. She attended the Corner Stone Tabernacle Church in Sasakwa.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Manual McLelland; grandaughter, Mary Ann Defer; two grandsons, Patrick McLelland and George McLelland; three sisters and seven brothers.
Derfer is survived by three sons; George and Victor McLelland of Tulsa and Donald Derfer Jr. of Wewoka; daughter, Sherry Ponce of Rhode Island, NY; sister, Cecilia Vennia and brother, Fosto Garcia of Ca.
In addition, Derfer had 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Verna Dice
Verna Marie Dice passed away Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
She was born July 30, 1930, to Lester and Mable (Logan) Smith. She was a longtime resident of Seminole.
She worked for over 25 years as a nurse at Pioneer Nursing Home and Seminole Municipal Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of over 50 years, Raymond R. Dice.
She is survived by her daughter, Glenda Hackett, Oklahoma City; and her son and daughter-in-law, Ronney R. and Teresa Dice, of Seminole; and three grandchildren, Rhonda Dennis and her husband James, Jason and Scott Dice.
She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Lericke’ Frank, James Dennis Jr., Deante’, Arianna and Jamon Dennis.
Other survivors include one brother, Glen Smith of Seminole; and two sisters, Wanda Joyner of Perrington, Texas, and Donna Hayes, Houston, Texas.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at First Assembly of God Church. Rev. Doyle Long will officiate.
Verna will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We will not be the same without her bright spunky spirit and anticipate one day when we will be with her again.
Mildred (Stiffler) Dilbeck
Funeral services for former Wewoka resident Mildred Rose (Stiffler) Dilbeck are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Assembly Of God Church in Holdenville. Rev Dale Jennings and Rev. James Johnson will be officiating.
Dilbeck died July 25, 2004, at Holdenville General Hospital, at the age of 79.
Dilbeck was born on Jan. 5, 1925 in Wewoka, to William and Charlotti Stiffler.
She was brought up in Wewoka were she attended Justice Schools.
She married Winfred Dilbeck in May of 1943 in Wewoka; they were married for 49 years before Winfred passed away in 1992.
They made their first home together in Holdenville, then lived in Texas and also in California, before returning in 1970 to settle permanently in Holdenville.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Holdenville.
Dilbeck was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Dilbeck; her son, Ronald Dilbeck; her grandson, Jay Johnson; her two brothers, J.D. Stiffler and Cecil T. Stiffler; and her two sisters, Flora Breshears and Rachel Fagala.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Johnson; and her son, Bobby Dilbeck; both of Holdenville; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Junior Stringfellow, Matt Kurkendorf, Bobby Dilbeck Jr., Steve Massey, Ricky Stiffler, C.J. Stiffler, Delbert Ruthledge and James Roberts.
Zeola Dindy
Funeral services for former Seminole County resident, Zeola Mae Dindy of Wewoka are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 at the Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka with Rev. Parker and Minister George J. Bowens officiating.
Interment will follow at the Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direction of the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Dindy died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at the age of 60 at her residence in Oklahoma City.
She was born in Wewoka, on April 23, 1943, to Dedrick and Eliza (Williams) Dindy, who both preceded her in death.
She was reared in Wewoka and attended Wewoka School.
She was baptized in Sasakwa at an early age.
She later joined the Oklahoma Christian family.
She worked as a nursing assistant for Evergreen Nursing Home over 15 years.
She was very active in her community she never failed to show love and kindness to everyone she met.
She knew no strangers young and old she helped those in need.
She prepared meals for convalescent, helped young women develop parenting skills.
She loved people and she loved life she lived her life of love in deed by the things she did to help others.
She is survived by her life companion, Jock Garcia of Oklahoma City; four children, Vennie L. Dindy, Tracy Dindy and Kathryn Bowen, all of Oklahoma City, Cherry Dindy of Atlanta, Ga.., three brothers Dedrick Dindy of Ada, David Dindy of Wewoka and Bernard Dindy of Tulsa; four sisters Ethel Garfield of Wewoka, Doris Hightower of Ada, Evelyn Hill of Longview, Texas and Bernice Dindy of Tulsa; nine grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Dedrick and Eliza (Williams) Dindy and her stepmother, Maezola Dindy.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Ray Nichols, Melvin Gray Jr., Rodney Dindy, Reggie Garfield.
