Funeral services for California "Kelly" Fixico, are to be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15 at Tekopuchee Methodist Church with Reverend Malcolm Tiger officiating.
A service will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Hudson-Phillips Chapel.
Fixico will be taken to Tekopuchee Methodist Church at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 14.
Wake services will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Interment will follow the funeral service at Yahola-Fixico family cemetery.
Fixico died Sunday, April 11, 2004, at the age of 101 at Valley View Regional Hospital.
He was born June 2, 1902, to Cano Fixico and Lucy Kernell in Okfuskee County, Indian Territory.
He grew up in the Paden area and attended Nuyaka Mission Indian School, Euchee Mission, Chilocco Mission and Haskell Industrial / Vocational School in Lawrence, Kan.
He excelled in football and baseball.
He married Winey Yahola on May 28, 1942, in Hughes County and they made their home and reared their children in the Yeager area.
California was a local minister who remained an active member of Tekopuchee Methodist Church.
He was the last survivor of eight children and a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Hewill be truly missed for his humor, kindness, and humbleness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 55 years, Winey Fixico; a daughter, Rosie Fixico; son, Amos Fixico; and grandson, Jaybird Bruner.
He is survived by two sons, Paul Fixico of Sapulpa and Andrew Fixico of Tulsa; five daughters, Mary Billy, Nora Bruner and Susie Harjo, all of Holdenville, Geneva Factor of Seminole and Deana Hulbutta of Wewoka; one step-daughter, Elizabeth Roberts of Okemah; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Randall Billy, Thomas Bruner, Brian Factor, Chris Factor, Roger Hulbutta, Monte Fixico, and K.D. Fixico.
Honorary pallbearers are Hayes Stafford, James Stafford, Melvin Bruner, Fred Billy, Louis Bruner, Lloyd Harjo, Henry Factor, Robbie Hulbutta, James Olivo, and Lance Haney.
Mary Fleckenstein
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Mary Louis Fleckenstein are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 23 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Basil Keenan, OSB officiating.
Interment will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Mount Calvary in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Fleckenstein died Monday, June 21, 2004, at the age of 96 at the Seminole Estates Nursing Center.
She was born July 18, 1907, to Andrew Henry Fleckenstein and Rhoby Emma (Sebstalan).
She was a schoolteacher and attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Seminole.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by one niece, Pat Norton and husband, Floyd of Seminole and one nephew, Stephen Powell and wife, Charlene of California; as well as several other family members.
Linda Florez
Wake services for former Seminole County resident, Linda Scott Florez are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday Jan. 2 at the Baggerly South Funeral Home Chapel in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services will be held at Spring Church in Sasakwa with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Florez died Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the age of 54 at her home in Moore.
She was born May 13, 1949, in Wewoka to Yoman Scott Sr. and Josephine Joy (Fixico) Scott.
Jayson Dwayne Foreman
Graveside service for longtime Konawa resident Jayson Dwayne Foreman is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Vamoosa Cemetery with Rev. Charles Troglin officiating.
The services will be under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home.
Foreman, 34, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. He was born April 5, 1970 in Midwest City to Guy L. and Shirilan K. (Porter) Foreman.
He married Angela Marie Brinneman on Nov. 1, 1989 in Ada. Foreman was self-employed in the construction trade and was of the Baptist faith.
His survivors include his parents, Guy and Shirilan Foreman of Konawa; his wife, Angela Foreman; son, Brendon Foreman; and daughter, Chelsea Foreman, all of the home; and sister, Susan Shay of Spaulding.
Troy Foutz
Memorial services for longtime Seminole resident, Troy Allen Foutz are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Temple of Praise Church with Rev. Harold Turner officiating.
Private family services will follow at the Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Foutz died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, at the age of 39 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole.
He was born July 20, 1964, in Seminole to Joe Erick Foutz and Allie Estella (Howell) Foutz.
He was disabled.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Molitor and Sharon Kay McCoy and one brother, Erick Lee Foutz.
He is survived by one daughter, Amanda Foutz of Paden; two brothers, Buster Dale McCoy and Guy Wayne Foutz, both of Seminole; and three sisters, Connie Jean Grey and Lelia Delores Renfro, both of Shawnee and Joyce Molitor-Dycus of Oklahoma City.
John Franks
Funeral services for Seminole resident, John Wilson Franks, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church, with Revs Houston Tiger and Billy Joe Howard officiating.
Wilson will be taken to the Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church in Holdenville at 4 p.m. on Feb. 10.
Wake service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Internment will take place at Franks family cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka.
Franks died Feb. 7, 2004, at the age of 71 at the Norman Regional Hospital.
He was born October 26, 1932, to George and Mollie (Harjo) Franks at Hughes County.
He was reared in the Seminole County area and attended Jackson School in Hughes County.
Franks married Lucy Mae Kilcrease on Nov. 21, 1951 in Seminole County and was a retired heavy equipment operator, as well as a member of Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa.
He was baptized on May 9, 1987, by the late Reverend George Jesse.
He is survived by his wife Lucy Mae (Kilcrease) Franks of the home; four sons and daughters in law; Virgil and Linda Franks of Ada, Ray and Denise Franks, Danny and Gloria Franks, George and Konowa Franks all of Holdenville, three daughters and sons in law; Molly and Robin Mack of Shawnee, Faye and Leslie Harjo of Weatherford, and Margie and Manuel Lena of Wewoka, and five sisters Virginia Frank of Kissimmee, Florida, Lydia and Ted McHenry, of Broken Arrow, Minnie and Felix Gouge, Lula Woods, both of Oklahoma City, Nora and George Thompson, of Henryetta, 16 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents George and Mollie Franks; one brother Spencer Alfred Frank, and a nephew Ted McHenry Jr. and a niece Leanne Mack.
Pallbearers will be Lewis Johnson, Stanley Johnson, Jimsey Carbitcher, John Factor, Leonard Gouge and Marcie Tiger.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Factor, William Ray Harjo, Richard Deo, George Thompson, Houston Hicks, Frank Harjochee, Felix Gouge and Martin Sanders.
Interment pallbearers will be Virgil Franks, Ray Franks, Danny Franks, David Franks, Manuel Lena and David Gouge.

James Frederick
Funeral services for Maud native James Wilkins Frederick are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Cowley-Krien Funeral Home in Sulphur.
Rev. Russell Vicars will officiate.
Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, and will be under the direction of Cowley-Krien Funeral Home.
Frederick died Friday, July 9, 2004 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home at the age of 80.
He was born to Grady Frederick and Lillie Hamby on Aug. 31, 1923 in Maud.
Frederick lived in both Maud and Sulphur while growing up.
Frederick graduated from Sulphur High School in 1943.
He married Colleen Gentry on June 23, 1944 in Sulphur.
Frederick lived in Oklahoma City from 1944 to 1955 and managed Humpty Dumpty Groceries.
He moved to Sulphur in 1957, and operated Archie’s Café for several years.
He had moved to Seminole Estates Nursing Home just recently.
Frederick was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Sue Frederick, Seminole; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jim Carpenter, John Ewert, Harold Gentry, Donnie Goodnight, Robert Foxx, Dawson Helvey and David Lyon.
Fred Frederickson
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Fred Frederickson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 17 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Jim Pruett officiating.
Interment will follow at the Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Frederickson died Monday, June 14, 2004, at the age of 51 at Norman Regional Hospital, after a battle with cancer.
He was born Feb. 21, 1953, in Redwood City, Calif. to Robert Fredrickson and Beatrice (Cooper) Fredrickson.
He moved to Seminole in 1989, where he was married to Lana Forneris.
He was a self-employed auto mechanic and was also employed by Marshall Surveying from 1993-2002.
He loved racing and raced top alcohol funny cars for Morrison Racing Team and the Seminole Shaker Team.
He grew up and spent most of his life in Sunnyvale, Calif.
He graduated from Sunnyvale High School.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Fredrickson.
He is survived by four brothers, Bruce Fredrickson of Seminole, Gary Fredrickson of Yukon, Wayne Fredrickson of Sacramento, Calif. and Don Fredrickson of Redding, Calif.; one sister, Bonnie Cherry of Seminole, as well as other family members and friends.
