Funeral services for Seminole County resident Lois June Gomez are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at the Tukvpvtce Methodist Church, north of Holdenville with Rev. Joe Factor officiating.
Interment will follow at Yahola Fixico Memory Garden, north of Holdenville.
Services under the direction of the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
Gomez passed on March 4, 2004, at the age of 55 at the Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
She was born on Nov. 12, 1948, in Seminole to Bunnie and Kizzie (Long) Thlocco.
Gomez was a lifelong Seminole County resident and was a member of the Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bunnie Tholcco; two brothers, Billy Joe Thlocco and Frank Thlocco, and one nephew, Nicholas Warledo.
Survivors include her mother, Kizzie Thlocco of Wewoka; three sons Jaime and Marvina Gomez, both of Walters, and Christopher Gomez and Jeremy Gomez, both of Wewoka; four sisters, Delores Haynes of Seminole, Amy Warledo and Norma Warledo, both of Wewoka, and Elizabeth LaGrone of Muscogee; one brother, Bryant Thlocco of Kansas City, Mo.; two special nieces, April and Puk Warledo, seven grand children; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Eric Thlocco, Lucas Warledo, Troy Warledo, Lance Warledo, Ryan Moppin and Leo Warledo.
Lois Gomez

Gomez will be taken to her home at 404 W. 20th Street in Wewoka at 4 p.m. today and wake services will start at 7:30 p.m.
She will then be taken to the church at 4 p.m. Friday for a 7:30 p.m. wake service.
Interment will be at the Yahola-Fixico memory garden cemetery north of Holdenville

Amanda Eugene Goostree
Graveside services for Seminole resident Amanda Eugene Goostree, 97, are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday at Maple Wood Cemetery in Exeter, Mo., under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo.
Viewing is scheduled from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole prior to the services.
Goostree died Sept. 29, 2004 in Shawnee. She was born Aug. 15, 1907 in Barry County, Mo., to James and Hetti (Drinkwater) Howerton.
She was a homemaker and has lived in Seminole for the past 10 years, prior to living most of her life in Missouri. Goostree was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Butterfield, Mo.
Her parents, husband Aulton Goostree, and a brother preceded her in death.
Surviving her are three sons, Larry Goostree of Seminole, Jim Goostree of Macomb, and Bill Goostree of Cheyenne, Wyo.; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Dadie Esther Gosa
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident, Dadie Esther Gosa are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2004 under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Reverands Tom Tripp, Scott Lenaburg and Greg Duvall will officiate.
Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Gosa died July 26, 2004 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 69.
Gosa was born in Byng on Sept. 18, 1934 to Dorsey N. Myers and Dadie E. (Duvall) Myers.
Gosa graduated from Byng High School and married Lowell Gosa in Byng on May 1, 1964.
She was a homemaker and lived in Seminole for 40 years.
Gosa was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Seminole and taught Sunday school for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Dorsey Myers Jr., Don Myers, and Paul Myers.
She is survived by her husband, Lowell Gosa of the home; son and daughter-in-law, John and Susan Gosa of Seminole; daughters, Jeanne Gosa and Julie Green of Seminole; son-in-law, Jon Green of Seminole; grandchildren, Abigail and Rachel Gosa; sister and brother-in-law, June and Hubert Phillips of Ada; sisters-in-law, Mildred Myers and Pat Henley of Ada, Velma Gosa of Tipton, Hazel Hollon of McAlester, Verla Keener of Lindsey; brothers-in-law, Sterling Henley of Ada, Marshall Gosa of Tipton, Don Keener of Lindsey, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Pallbearers include Kim Myers, Kevin Lloyd, Tim Thetford, Marty Joplin, Dan Keener and Mackey Keener.
Honorary bearers include Brandon Thetford, Leon Collier, Bill Lloyd and Kenneth Darr.
Lloyd Green
Funeral services for Seminole County resident, Lloyd Edward Green, of Konawa, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19 at the Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa with Don Fuchs officiating.
Interment will be at the Vamoosa Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of the Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Green died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at the age of 75 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was born Dec. 28, 1928, in Meeker to Homer Green and Myrtle (O’Neal) Green.
He married Patsy Lou Odom on Dec. 5, 1982, in Konawa.
He was a Konawa resident for over 22 years.
He worked for 40 years as a station operating supervisor for OG&E, retiring in 1987.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He served as a Master Sgt. during the Korean conflict.
He was also a member of the First Baptist Church as well as the National Greyhound Association.
He was preceded in death by his father and other relatives.
He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Green of Maud; his wife, Pat Green of the home; four daughters, Denise Fuchs of Norman, Leah Angela O’Donnell of The Woodlands, Texas, Karina Carr of Newalla and Kelly Hooper of Ada; one son, Steven Tyler of Konawa; one brother, Bill Green of Garland, Texas; two sisters, Bonnie Sue Davenport of Earlsboro and Faye Ann Ratclift of Meeker; 11 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Patsy Lou Green
Funeral services for Konawa resident Patsy Lou Green are set for Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Chapel, under the direction of Don Fuchs.
Burial is set to follow at Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Green died July 19, 2004, at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 60.
She was born in Casa Grande, Ariz. on Jan. 2, 1944, to Loyd Owen Odom and Inez Earl (Pettigrew) Odom.
Green has been a Konawa area resident for the past 28 years after moving there from Stratford, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Konawa.
She married Lloyd Green on Dec. 5, 1982, in Konawa and together they owned and operated Green’s Greyhound Farm.
Green was preceded in death by her father, Loyd, on Feb. 15, 2004; an infant son, Brian Evert Tyler; a sister, Shirley Triponey; and a brother, Jim Odom.
She is survived by her mother, Inez Odom of Casa Grande, Ariz.: one son, Steven Tyler and his wife Jerri LeeAnn of Konawa: four daughters: Karina Carr and husband Jerry of Newalla, Kelly Hooper and husband Rick of Ada, Leah Angela O’Donnell and husband Kent of Norman, and Denise Fuchs with husband Mark of Norman.
She is also survived by two brothers, Jerry Odom of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Robert Odom of Stafford; three sisters, Maxylene Crabbe of Chandler, Ariz., Sue Tyler of Ada, and Judy Leslie of Casa Grande, Ariz.: 11 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Karl Tyler, Gary Davenport, Brian Davenport, Randy Davenport, Kenton Tyler, and Ryan Dent. Burial to follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.
Vera Green
Graveside services for Seminole County resident, Vera Edna Green are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 12 at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
Arrangements are by the Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Green died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at the age of 98 in the Wewoka Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1906, the 2nd of 11 children in Bagwell, Texas to Irvy Knox Gentry and Gillye DeLilah Pryor.
In 1919, at the age of 13, she moved to the McClain County area with her family.
She married Javan Tyrus "J.T, " Green in 1922, and they made their home in Bryant community, eight miles west of Wayne.
They farmed there until her husband’s death in the early 1940s, leaving her a single mother.
Green moved to Norman to raise her two teenaged daughters and in 1959 she moved to Wewoka to live closer to her daughters.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and being with her family.
She was a member of the Wewoka First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvy and Gillye Gentry; husband, J.T. Green; infant daughter, Margaret Vivian Green; three sisters, Ruby Tefertiller, Jessie Mayfield, Vannah Green; and four brothers, William, Joe, Lloyd and Junior Gentry.
She is survived by two daughters, Marjorie Copeland of Eufaula and Barbara Rachel of Wewoka; one brother, James Gentry of Victorville, Calif.; two sisters, Hazel West of Ada and Jewell Richey or Norman; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Rachel, Jay Copeland, Cpl. Dax Carpenter, John Carpenter, Brent Bailey, Pat Rachel and Ed Story.
Virginia Ruth Greenwood
Services for Virginia Ruth Greenwood of Asher will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka
Greenwood died in her home on Sunday July 25, 2004. She was born in Clovis, N.M. on July 28, 1944 to Dan Wood and Josephine Harjo Wood.
She was raised in Ada and graduated from Byng High School in 1962. She attended business school and received a diploma as a paralegal.
She married Norman Greenwood in 1984 in Ada and was a member of Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa.
Survivors include: husband Norman Greenwood, children Michael McCurtian, Travis Rednose, Kenneth Waldroupe, Renolda Waltroupe, Justin Waltroupe, Stacie Rednose, and Kayci Rednose, all of Asher, and one sister, Lana Stone of Wewoka.
Greenwood was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Randy Wood.
Wake services will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Stout-Phillips Chapel and the interment will be at the Holtulke Cemetery with Rev. Frank Moppin to officiate.
