Funeral services for Wewoka resident Edith Moore was scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Henry Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Moore, 89, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 at the Wewoka Nursing Center. She was born May 28, 1915 to Silas Alexander and Francis Marilda Young.
She was married to Lowell Moore in 1978 and the couple resided in Wewoka.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy James McNaughton and his wife Barbara of Wewoka, Frederick Michael McNaughton and his wife Janet of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; and her husband Lowell W. Moore.
Frank Moore
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Frank Moore are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Prague Free Will Baptist Church with Revs. Randall Miller and John Owen officiating.
Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Moore died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at the age of 58 at Seminole Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 25, 1945, in Terral to Claude Hardin Moore and Armena Viola (Duncan) Moore.
He married Carolyn June (Skelton) Moore on Aug. 10, 1968 in Fox.
Moore moved to Seminole in 1972 from Arizona.
He was a retired schoolteacher and administrator, working at Strother School for 28 years, Sasakwa School and as half-day principal at Justice School for one year.
He was a veteran, serving in the Army National Guard, as well as a member of the Prague Free Will Baptist Church.
His parents and one brother, Donnie Moore, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of the home; one daughter Keri Dawn Permetter of Shawnee; three brothers, Elgin Moore of Hereford, Texas, Lester Moore of Madera, Calif. and Roy Claude "Lucky" Moore of Wichita Falls, Texas; and one grandchild.

Merlin LeRoy Moore
Graveside services for former Konawa resident Merlin LeRoy Moore are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Konawa Cemetery with Pam Shirk officiating.
Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Moore, who was residing in Denton, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Denton Regional Hospital. He was 86.
Moore was born March 5, 1918, in Lone Wolf to Archie A. and Martha (Albig) Moore.
He was married to Wanda Lee (Edwards) Moore on March 17, 1946, in Norman.
Moore was a truck driver for Swift and Company and served as a Sargent in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four sisters and seven brothers.
Moore is survived by two sons, Archie Moore of Konawa, Mac Moore of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Patricia Wallace oF Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Kenneth Moore of Mannford; and one sister, Betty Jo Young of Oklahoma City.
Milo Milton Morgan
Graveside services for Wewoka resident Milo Milton Morgan are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Little Cemetery.
Rev. David Brasfield will officiate.
Services will be under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
Morgan died Friday, July 2, 2004 at O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 80.
Morgan was born to John Elmer and Virgille "Elledge" Morgan on April 1, 1924 in Haskell-Porter.
He attended elementary school at Cromwell.
Morgan has been a resident of Oakridge Home for the last 35 years and had many friends and family and will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Elmer and Virgille Morgan; one brother, Loyd Morgan; and one sister, Thelma Romero.
Morgan is survived by four nieces, LaDean Lasiter, Louise Morgan, Naoma O’Donnell, and LeAnn Webb; two nephews, Mike Romero and Albert Morgan.
Pallbearers include Gerald Morgan, Harold Lasiter, Hershal O’Donnell, Greg Morgan, Scott Lasiter, Jeff O’Donnell and Albert Morgan.
Freda Morris
Graveside services for former Seminole County resident, Freda Morris, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5 at the Danville Cemetery with Rev. David Hampton officiating.
Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore, Texas.
Morris died Wednesday, June 2. 2004, at the age of 90 in Kilgore, Texas.
She was born April 25, 1914, in Yeager to Luther A. Davis Sr. and Ila Mae Davis.
Morris is a former Wewoka resident.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jude Morris/ father, Luther A. Davis Sr.; mother, Ila Mae Davis; sisters, Ina Mae Dutton and Eva Taylor; and one brother, Luther A. Davis Jr.
She is survived by a daughter Peggy Ladd and Richard of Richardson, Texas; two grandsons; one sister, Jewell Burris; one brother, Jack Davis and Mary Lou of Wewoka; Nellie Davis of Wewoka; as well as other family and friends.
Gladys Irene Morrow
Funeral services for lifelong Konawa resident Gladys Irene Morrow are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Konawa Church of Christ, under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Richard Winters will officiate the services, and burial is set to follow at Vamoosa Cemetery north of Konawa.
Morrow died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, at the age of 95, at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada.
She was born Nov. 8, 1908, in Spaulding, to Hesy Nicholson and Olevia Louella (Herndon) Nicholson.
On July 17, 1926, she married Frank Morrow in Konawa.
Morrow worked at several area businesses, including Dixie Clothing Store, Redbud Grocery, National Guard officer and the Konawa Public Library, which later became known as the Kennedy Library.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Konawa.
Later in life, Morrow participated in aerobics, and was well-known for her Aunt Bill’s candy that she made.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank, on Feb. 20, 1983; one son, Glen Morrow, on Jan. 13, 2001; one grandson, Mark Lane, on June 20, 2003; three brothers; and two sisters.
Morrow is survived by one daughter, Shirley Radford, of Konawa; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Melvin Mulkey
Funeral services for Seminole County resident, Melvin Eugene Mulkey, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Seminole.
Bob Ong will officiate under the direction of the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
Mulkey passed away Feb. 5, 2004, at his home in Seminole at the age of 75.
He was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Wewoka to Homer and Kattie (Ong) Mulkey.
He was raised in the Seminole County area and attended school at Ong and New Lima.
He worked for the City of Shawnee, Seminole and Okemah as a Lab Tech Waste-water supervisor.
Mulkey is survived by his wife, Jeanette Mulkey, of the home; one son, Brad Mulkey of Blanchard; three daughters, Linda Green of Noble, Melissa Whitley of Seminole and Tammy Powers of Lawerence, Kan.; one sister, Gladys Owens of Alba, Texas; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Nadine Mulkey; and four brothers, Carl, Marvin, Herschel and Arthur Mulkey.
Pall bearers will be Mike Thomas, James Lofton, Bruce Dodd, Bill Buley, Jack Albander and Charles Anson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Weldon Blaylock, Don Atwell and D.C. Neil.
Joy Dean Mullings
Graveside services for Joy Dean Mullings will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat. at Cummings Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Peck officiating.
Mullings, 75, had been a lifelong resident in the St. Louis and Okmulgee areas. She died on Aug.11, 2004.
She had been born on Nov. 30, 1928 in Holdenville to William R. and Emma Elsie (Guess) Moore.
Mullings had married Orval Wesley "Humpy" Mullings on Feb. 20, 1947 in Okmulgee and he preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2000.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pearson, and had retired as a teacher’s aide at St. Louis Schools.
Her survivors include son, Robert Mullings of Pleasant Valley; brother, James "J.R." Moore of Fritch, Texas; half-sister, Linda Turley of Morris; special friends; Jason, Tammy, and Isabella Brooks of St. Louis, Jenny Chaffin of Wewoka; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Her parents, husband, and a brother, Don Moore, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Friday at Knight–Swearingen Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
