Funeral services for Konawa resident Louie Edward Mullins are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, May 17, under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Ed George will officiate the services.
Interment will follow at the Vamoosa Cemetery under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen.
Mullins died at Valley View Regional Hospital on Friday, May 14, 2004, at the age of 75.
He was born in Prue on Oct. 4, 1928, to Benjamin Franklin Mullins and Claudia Elizabeth (Garrison) Mullins.
On March 15, 1952, he married Lula Mae (Heard) Mullins in Van Buren, Ark.
Living in the Konawa area most of his life, he retired from employment with the state of Oklahoma, for whom he inspected cattle for disease.
Mullins was a private first-class in the U.S. Army, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Betty Jo Ramsey, Molly Hill, Alma Green, and Leona Barley; and two brothers: W.J. Mullins and Sonny Mullins.
Mullins is survived by his wife of the home; one brother, Benny Don Mullins of Colorado; three sons: Rickie Don Mullins, Konawa, Steve Allen Mullins, Sasakwa, and Roland Edward Mullins, Konawa; one daughter, Debbie Kay Kuestersteffen, Sasakwa; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Zeb Kuestersteffen, Paul Gilbert, Darren Oliphant, Lee Mullins, Ricky Mullins Jr., and Gary Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers are Henry Streater, Jessie Blackburn, Jim Kinsey, B.J. Walton, Chuck Hooper, Buddy Womack and Tony Kuestersteffen.
Jim G. Nall
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Jim G. Nall are scheduled for 12 p.m. Thursday in Nashville, Tenn. at Phillips Robinson Funeral Home.
Entombment will follow services at Spring Hill Cemetery. Officiating for the services will be Pastor Tommy Ferguson and the pallbearers will be family and friends.
Nall, 68, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004. His wife, Betty J. (Hale) Nall, preceded him in death.
He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service.
Survivors include his daughter Beth Potts and a grandson.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to a favorite charity. The funeral home is located at 2707 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tenn.
Kenneth Neal
Funeral services for Kenneth Lavern Neal, son of Seminole County resident, are scheduled for 12 noon on Wednesday, March 17, at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center in Red Rock.
Interment will follow at the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery in Red Rock under the direction of the Poteet Funeral Home of Pawnee.
Neal was born Dec. 24, 1953, in Winfield, Kan. to David Neal and Darlene (Sims) Hollis.
He died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at the age of 50 at his home in Red Rock.
He came to know the Lord as his Savior on Nov. 11, 2001.
She was preceded in death by one son, Chea Joseph Neal; his grandmother, Annie Burgess Jones; and grandfather, Arthur H. Jones.
He is survived by his mother, Darlene Hollis of Sasakwa; two sons, Randy Austin of Ada and Hushtali Neal of Norman; two daughters, Kelene Deer of Shawnee and Annjennell Austin of Oklahoma City; three grandsons; two granddaughters; four brothers, Darrell Jackson of Oklahoma City, Dennis Jackson, of Norman, David Shaffer of Longview, Texas and Gerald Shaffer of Grand Prairie, Texas; five sisters, Reva Neal of Red Rock, Donnita Ramsey, Doretta Ramirez and Janet Evans, all of Guthrie and Kathy White of Moore; and many other relatives and friends.
Zeppie Margaret Neely
Graveside services for Seminole resident Zeppie Margaret Neely were held at 10 am. Thursday.
Services were held at Welty Cemetery in Welty, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Prague. Ron Sheppard officiated.
Neely, 89, died August 2, 2004 in Seminole.
She was born on Jan. 8, 1915 in Welty, Okfuskee County, to Tomas Henry and Mary Ruth (Bennett) Wright. She married Cecil I. Neely on July 3, 1935.
Neely was a homemaker and a member of the Harvey Road Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, three brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include her husband of the home; daughter, Janet Neely of Seminole; brother, Donal B. Wright of Cabot, Ark.; and sister, Zelma Bowlin of Seminole.
Donom A. Neill
Funeral services for longtime Seminole County resident Donom A. Neill are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Wewoka.
Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Neill died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at the age of 77.
Neill was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Hughes County to James Asa and Janetta "Westmoland" Neill. He grew up in the Hughes and Seminole county area.
Neill graduated from Butner High School.
On Nov. 17, 1948, Neill married Peggy Ussery.
He was retired from the oilfield.
Neill was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lawrence, David, Samuel, R.D., Paul and Hale Neill; and sisters Evelyn Molleur and Faye Bibb.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy of the home; three brothers, Homer, Olen, and James Neill; four sisters, Allie Maye Mayfield, Pat and Christine Neill and Gene Molleur; two daughters, Jan Hager of Wewoka and Theresa Williams of Allen, Texas; and son, Teddy Neill of Wewoka.
He is also survived by grandchildren, Leif Nevener of Tulsa, Jessica Hager and Robert Barkhurst of Wewoka, Carlye and Terry Henderson of Wewoka, Josh Neff of Lubbock, Texas; and 12 great grandchildren.
Don Newby
Services for Don Newby, brother of a Seminole resident, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 at Trinity Baptist Church with Revs. Sherman Ivy, James Stuart and Glen Eaves officiating.
Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery in Ada.
Newby died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at the age of 66 in Ada.
He was born Oct. 4, 1937, at Fittstown to Melvin and Hazel Brecheen Newby.
He attended Vanoss High School as well as East Central University.
He married Barbara Joens on Dec. 21, 1957, at Union Hill Baptist Church in Ada.
He owned and operated Ada Implement Company in Ada since 1968.
He was ordained to the ministry in 1963 and had pastored Union Hill Baptist Church, Union Valley Baptist Church, Lightening Ridge Baptist Church and Galey Baptist Church, all in the Ada area.
He was a member and associate pastor of Union Hill Baptist Churhc.
He was preceded in death by his father and one grandson, Jake Newby.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Newby of the home; his mother, Hazel Newby of Oil Center; one son, Steve Newby of Oil Center; one daughter, Kathy Lofton of Ada; two brothers, Ron Newby of Oil Center and Larry Newby of Seminole; and two grandchildren.
Pall bearers were George D. Welch, Simon Young, Bob Gray, Jerry McDaniel, Larry Cunningham and Joe Maddox.

Mary Newman
Funeral services for Seminole County native, Mary Thelma Newman are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, April 2 in the chapel of Hampton Vaughan Crestview with Billy Pursley officiating.
Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Crestview.
Newman died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at the age of 68 in Wichita Falls.
She was born Dec. 25, 1935 in Cromwell to Alvah Albert and Ruby Lee (Smith) Capehart.
She worked for Chartwell for 17 years and was a homemaker.
She dedicated her life to taking care of her mentally challenged daughter, Elwana.
Newman was a true friend and confidant to so many and will be truly missed by all.
She is survived by four daughters, LaGayla Wood of Glenpool, Jo Elaine Weeks of Midland, Texas, LaDonna Smith and Elwana Joyce Newman, both of Wichita Falls, Texas; one brother, George Wayne Blessing of McAlester; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wichita Falls Association of Retarded Citizens or the Humane Society.

Billy Leon Norman
Billy Leon Norman, 75, of Maud died Saturday, July 3, 2004 at Sunset Estates of Maud.
Memorial services were held this morning at the Knight-Swearington Funeral Home.
He was born May 4, 1929 in Maud to Jesse Norman and Lulu (Cole) Norman.
He worked as a roughneck in the oilfields.
Norman is survived by his wife Elcie, of the home; one son, Billy Norman of Louisiana and one daughter, Lou Martin of Moore.
Also survived by two brothers, Richard Norman of Konawa, Jerry Norman of Tulsa; and two sisters, Vonnie of Grove and Gloria of Newcastle.
He also has seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
