Graveside services for former Maud resident Juanita Valentine were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Cummings Cemetery in Maud with William E. Stibling officiating.
Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh is in charge of arrangements.
Viewing was scheduled to be at Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
Valentine died Friday Oct. 1, 2004, in Ada. She was 81.
Valentine was born June 2, 1923 in Childress Texas to Jess Marchbanks and Myrtle Douglass Loveless.
She grew up in Shamrock, Texas, moved to Oklahoma in 1959 and lived in Maud from 1974 to 2002.
Valentine was a homemaker.
She married Argo Valentine on Dec. 14, 1945. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 2002.
She was active in the Maud Senior Citizens Center.
Valentine gardened, went fishing and sewed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Mary Marcum; and three brothers, Jess, Alvin and Melvin Marchbanks.
Valentine is survived by her daughter Carolyn, of Shawnee; and son C. Leroy Hair, of St Louis, Mo.
Mary Chloe Van Vranken
Funeral services for former Maud resident Mary Chloe Van Vranken will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the South Colonial Chapel under the direction of Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuary of Oklahoma City.
Van Vranken was born on Dec. 30, 1914 in Maumee, Ark. to James and Francis (Morrison) Knox. She died in McLoud on Aug. 15, 2004.
She married Harold Claude Van Vranken on April 2, 1938 in Cordell.
Van Vranken was a member of the Church of Christ and moved to McLoud two years ago.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Melva Porter, granddaughter Christina Van Vranken, grandson Stoney Smith, four brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include her children, Claude and wife Renae Van Vranken of Guthrie, J.R. Van Vranken of Yukon, Owen and wife JoAnn Van Vranken of McLoud, Edna Russell of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and Frieda and husband John Smith of McLoud.
Additional survivors are her brother Harley Butler of Mustang; sister Lois Hatter of Oklahoma City; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
Charlene Vaughan
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Charlene Vaughan are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home.
Rev. Roger Brewer of First Church of God will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Vaughan was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Crawford County, Ill., and passed from this life Nov. 28, 2004.
She was born to Charles Shaffer and Ethyl (Bowsher) Shaffer. The family moved to Seminole in 1929. She remained here until her health failed several months ago, then moved to Skiatook to be near her son.
Her husband, Austin Vaughan, preceded her in death in May, 1986.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Ricky Lynn McDonald in May 2000; her parents, four brothers, two sisters and a great-grandson.
She attended First Church of God for 58 years. She also enjoyed the time she spent at the Heritage House.
Mrs. Vaughan is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Floyd and Carolyn Vaughan of Skiatook; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Thoms of Choctaw, and Geraldine and LeRoy Lancaster of Seminole; grandsons, Terry McDonald of Greeley, Colo., S.J. "Sonny" Bailey Jr., Seminole, Michael Bailey, Mustang, Justin and Loren Vaughan, Skiatook, and Eric Vaughan, Lubbock, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Juanita Webb and Wanda Gardner, both of Seminole.
Her grandsons will be pallbearers. Men of First Church of God will be honorary bearers.
The family requests memorial donations be sent to a charity which feeds the needy.
Clyde Jean Vaught
Graveside services for Seminole County resident, Clyde Jean Vaught were scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 at the Sand Creek Cemetery under the direction of Harley Smith.
Interment will follow under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home of Okemah.
She died Feb. 18, 2004, at the age of 97 in Wewoka.
She was born March 23, 1906, in Vian to Sylvania Smith and Nancy Walker Smith.
She had lived in the Okfuskee County area since 1923, coming from Sallisaw.
She married Elwin Vaught in 1926.
She was a homemaker as well as an avid seamstress.
She enjoyed fishing, cooking and gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Dillard Vaught of Okemah and Millard Vaught of Cromwell; one daughter, Rebecca Sherlock of Wewoka; two sisters, Edith Ott and Kinis Bankston of Okemah; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, eight brothers and five sisters.
Vernon Dale Villines
Graveside services for longtime Seminole County resident, Vernon Dale Villines are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 16 at the Wolf Cemetery, south of Seminole with Rev. Bill Burns officiating.
Services are under the direction of the Swearingen Funeral Home.
Villines died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at the age of 62 at Baptist Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 28, 1941, in Konawa to Vernon Doug Villines and Vivian (Roberts) Villines.
He was married to Virginia (Mathews) Villines on May 18, 1971 in Wolf.
He was self employed and worked in construction and on gas pipeline.
He graduated from Bowlegs High School and was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
His wife, Virginia Villines of the home; one brother, Wade Lynn Villines of Hominy; one sister, Mona Harrington of Wolf; as well as other relatives survive him.
James L. Wade Jr.
Funeral services for former Wewoka resident James (Jimmy) L. Wade Jr. were held on Aug. 12, 2004 in Scottsdale, Ariz. at Acres Memorial Gardens.
Wade died August 7, 2004.
He was born on Aug. 25, 1924 in Hinton to James L. and Nancy Wade.
Wade attended Wewoka schools from which he graduated in 1943 and served in the military.
Survivors include his wife Eliset L. Wade of Mesa, Az., sisters, Lillienell W. Maiolotese, Ga., June Cunningham of Wewoka, and Marilyn Pierce of Ga.
Also surviving are three stepchildren and one nephew.
Ronald J. Wagner
A memorial service for Ronald J. Wagner of Seminole is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at his home, 111 N. University. Anita and Jim Morland will officiate.
Wagner died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at home. He was 78.
Born April 22, 1926 in Oklahoma, Wagner married Mary Lucille (Osborne) Wagner on Dec. 9, 1972.
Wagner was an ordained minister.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec 1, 1998; his son, Otis B. Wagner on Dec. 29, 2002; three brothers and two sisters.
His friend and caretaker, Thelma Blevins, survives him.
Myrna B. Walden
FREDERICK – Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at Burkhardt Chapel of the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. James Galyon of the First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home.
Myrna B. Walden, age 71, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004 in Frederick. Walden was born Dec. 8, 1932, to O.W. and Goldie Ellen (Baird) Scheller.
Walden attended school in Frederic and graduated from Frederick High School in 1950.
During her school years she enjoyed playing basketball, won the State Free Throw contest and won numerous bowling awards.
Myrna worked for Kelly and Townsend Law Firm, Townsend and Curtis and Massad Evans and Kent, from which she retired from in 1995.
Her parents and a sister, Billie Keaton, precede her in death.
Walden is survived by her husband of the home, Harrison "Corky" Walden.
She is also survived by four brothers, O.W. Scheller Jr., of Jackson, Miss., Jerry Scheller of Seminole, Eddie Scheller of Sayre, and Mike Scheller of Seminole; a sister, Mary "Ellen" Funderberg, of Oklahoma City.

Rosalita Walden
Funeral services for former Wewoka resident Rosalita (Smart) Walden are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Stout-Phillips Chapel in Wewoka with Pastor Dave McPeak officiating.
Walden died in her Ada home Oct. 21, 2004 at the age of 64. She was born in Cromwell on Jan. 22, 1940 to Houston and Juanita (Treat) Smart.
She grew up in the Seminole County area and graduated from Wewoka High School. She married Don Walden in December of 1984.
Walden worked as an administrator for Duncan Plaza and was a member of the Church of Christ in Wewoka.
Her daughter Terri Lynn Logan and her brother Houston Smart Jr. preceded her in death.
Her survivors include her parents Houston and Juanita of Wewoka; husband Don Walden of Ada; sons Daniel Lee Logan, Jeffrey Don Logan both of Wewoka, and David Mark Logan of Ada.
In addition are her brothers Ken Smart of Bethany, and Darrell Smart of Burns Flat; sisters Judy Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas, Tammy Belshe of Wewoka, and Debbie McPeak of Galt, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Her interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
