Services for Wewoka resident Richard "Tommy" Williams are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday in the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Paskel Bevan and Carl Whitfield will officiate.
Interment will be at the Little Cemetery.
Williams died in his home on Monday, Oct. 25, 2004. He was 74.
Born July 25, 1930, to Willie and Alice (Boatman) Williams in Sylvian, he later attended Pikes Peak School in Seminole.
Williams married Oleta Watters on August 24, 1951, in Gainsville, Texas.
Williams joined the Army for the Korean War, serving from 1951-53.
After returning home, Williams worked as an oil field worker for Cook Oil Company in Wewoka.
He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Cromwell.
Williams was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carlene Pigeut; and one brother Alton Quinton Williams.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Jimmy and Steve Williams; one daughter, Diana Watson; one brother, Willie Williams all of Cromwell; two sisters, Bernice Breece of Cromwell and Virginia Kirkland of Wewoka; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are scheduled to be Jason, Steve P. and, Jordan Williams, Kelly Cook, Bert McDowell and Donny Watters.
Honorary Pallbearers are scheduled to be Doyle and Glen Cook, Lewis Tiger, Bob Kennedy and fellow employees of Cook Oil Company.
Robert L. Williams
Funeral services for Seminole resident Robert L. "Bob" Williams are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist church with Rev. Tommy Clark officiating.
Interment is to follow services at Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Williams, 82, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004 at Unity Health Center North at Shawnee. He was born in Sulphur on Jan. 10, 1922 to William Turner Williams II and Barbara (Brice) Williams.
He married Florene Hill on Sept. 6, 1942 in Norman. Williams retired after 35 years of service at Southwestern Bell Telephone in the Engineer Department.
Williams was a veteran of the United States Navy where he was a Carpenter’s Mate 3rd Class U.S. Naval Reserve Seabees (CB). He worked in the construction division, which went in early and built landing strips for the planes flying in to prepare for the Japanese war in the South Pacific.
After retirement he enjoyed golf and giving golfing lessons to young people. Williams lived in Ada for 40years before moving to Seminole in October 1988.
His wife of the home; son Gerald Williams of Cromwell; daughter Cathy Nimmo of Norman; two brothers, Jack and Dale Williams of Norman; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren survives him.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Falls Creek Cabin Building Fund.
William F. Williamson
Funeral services for William Farrow Williamson, father of Wewoka resident Ferril Williamson, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at McConnell Funeral Chapel in Greenwood, Ark.
Dr. Brad Williamson will officiate, with interment in Lovelace Cemetery, Wichervile, Ark., under the direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee.
Williamson died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at Unity North Hospital, Shawnee, at the age of 96.
He was born Dec. 31, 1908, in Greenwood, to John Broadus and Nellie (John) Williamson.
He graduated from Greenwood High School and worked in the aircraft industry and in radio and television repair.
He was a deacon in the Baptist church.
He married Pearlia Oral Thomas in September, 1933. She died June 5, 1987.
He married Leola Blackwell on Dec. 12, 1993; she survives him of the home.
Besides his wife and his son in Wewoka, other survivors include a daughter, Treva Affentranger, Shawnee; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother, Dale, of Greenwood; and one sister, Margie, of Mansfield, Ark.
Louise ‘Lou’ Willis
Memorial celebration for Seminole native, Louise "Lou" Willis will be held at 12 noon Monday, Jan. 12, at Restland Memorial Chapel, led by Pastor Mark Farrish of Lake Highlands Baptist Church.
Interment will follow.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday between 2 - 4 p.m.
Louise died at her home in Dallas on January 8, 2004, at the age of 81 from complications of a stroke.
Lou will be missed by all who knew and loved her and will be remembered for her passion for life, friends, family and her faith in the Lord.
Lou was a prominent figure in the Lakewood community as owner of the Party Parlor, real estate broker, philanthropist and church volunteer.
Lou was born July 1, 1922, in Seminole and is survived by her husband of 59 years, S.C. Willis, Jr. and children Donnetta Willis of Waco; Alissa Pitman, of Flower Mound; Tanya Alexander of Grapevine, and Mark Willis of Dallas; three grandchildren, Arden Pitman Miller; Stacy Alexander Sterner and husband Jeremy of Belleville, Ill. and Wiley L. Alexander, III of Plano; four great-grandchildren, Sarah Ann and Genaveve Elise Miller; Hannah Marie Rollefson and Brenden Patrick Sterner.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents Ruby and Carl Griffin, brother Thurmon Griffin, and great-aunt Roberta Earles Wimberly.
She leaves a brother and sister and their families: Jerrell Daigle of Stewart, Tenn. and Elizabeth Boragno of Fresno, Calif.

Floyd Willoughby
Services for Floyd Willoughby, a long time Seminole resident, will be held on July 26, 2004 at 10.00 a.m. at the Church of Christ at Little. Rusty Dawson will be officiating. Burial ceremony will follow after the services at Little Cemetery.
Willoughby died July 22, 2004 at his home in Seminole County at the age of 80.
He was born March 13, 1924 to Donald Jefferson Willoughby and Pearl May (Early) Willoughby in Charaha area, Seminole County
He attended Charaha and Strothers schools.
Willoughby first worked in federal services as a surgical technician in the Army Medical Corps during World War II.
He served in the European campaign and received the following commendations:
Bronze Star, Good Conduct medal, American Campaign medal, European-African- Mid-East medal, and the World II Victory medal.
In December 1945 he was discharged as a Corporal.
In 1948, Willoughby began his civil service career at Tinker Air Force Base, and was assigned as a sheet metal worker.
He spent his entire tenure at the base in the department. After almost 26 years of Federal Service to his credit he retired to the Twin Oak area with his family.
On July15, 1946 he married Lillie Anna (McDonald) Willoughby. They had one daughter Anna Marie (Willoughby) Thompson.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lillie Willoughby; his daughter Anna Marie (Willoughby) Thompson, two granddaughters and their husbands Lena and Jim Hearrell and Katie and Sgt. Warren Neil Rattan.
He is also survived by five great grandchildren; Kaitlyn Ann Hearrell, Emily Marie Hearell, twins Taylor Dee and Tyler Lee Hearell, and Cami Paige Rattan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim and Doyle Willoughby, and one sister Avis Marie (Willoughby) Motes.
Although he was the last remaining member of his family he never went without the love, help, friendship and brotherly kinship and prayers he would know Christ when he married into the McDonald clan.
He was never without the things only a family could give. He wasn’t just an in-law, but family thanks to the love shown by: Burnard and Myrtle McDonald, James and Esther McDonald, and Leon and Betty McDonald. And one late dear sister-in-law, Marie McDonald, who he shared and celebrated the same birthday (a trip to Bob’s).
Pallbearers will be Walter Shepard, Dempsey Chesser, Tex Gleichman, Dale Gibson, Ralph Castor, and Elbert Brown.
Honorary bearers will be Raymond Smith, Cleve Chandler, Johnnie Malone, Dr. Tony Haddad, Lindell moore, Freddie Thomsen, and Charlie Lawler.
Swearingen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Helen Wilson
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident, Helen Marjorie (Harris) Wilson are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Russell Vicars officiating.
Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Wilson died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at the age of 88 at Seminole Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 1, 1915, in Keokuk Falls to Sidney R. Harris and Tennie (Dewran) Harris.
She married John "Quimby" Wilson on Oct. 25, 1935 in Seminole.
He preceded her in death on April 1, 2004.
She was a beauty operator and worked from her home.
She was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter; five brothers, Claud C., Jack, Dan, Roy and Paul Harris; and three sisters, Opal Dollar, Mabel Cox and Mary Andrews.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Paulette Wilson of Edmond and Sid and Lynette Wilson of Ponte Vedra, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Cavin of San Lorenzo, Calif. and Eva Emmerson of San Leandro, Calif.; three grandchildren, Blake, Courtney and Sean Wilson; and two great grandchildren, Taylor Ann Wilson and Caleb Wilson.
J.Q. Wilson
Funeral services for life long Seminole resident, J.Q. "Quimby" Wilson are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole with Russell Vicars officiating.
Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Wilson died Thursday, April 1, 2004, at the age of 92 at Edmond Specialty Hospital in Edmond.
He was born Oct. 6, 1911, in Seminole to John Thomas Wilson and Maud (Higdon) Wilson.
He was married to Helen (Harris) Wilson on Oct. 25, 1935.
He was a resident engineer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
The Wewoka Creek Bridge south of Seminole was named the John Quimby Wilson Bridge, in his honor and was dedicated in 1977.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Seminole, the Masonic Lodge and was grandmaster.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; two sisters, Lorene Wilson and Ester Wilson and three brothers, Gilbert Wilson, Woodrow Wilson and Wilburn Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Wilson of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sid Wilson and his wife, Lynette of Ponte Vedra, Fla and John Wilson and his wife, Paulette of Edmond; two sisters, Irene Lawrene of Pauls Valley and Helen Williamson of Hemet, Calif.; three grandchildren, Blake, Courtney and Sean Wilson and two great grandchildren, Taylor Ann and Caleb Braydon Wilson.
Jane Ann Wilson
Jane Ann Wilson, age 40, passed away in her home on June 9, 2004, in Wewoka. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, April 1, 1964, to Harold Ray Wilson and Jan Jones Wilson. She attended Cleveland Schools and was saved at the First Baptist Church in Cleveland, OK, at the age of thirteen.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Saturday, June 12, 2004, at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, with Rev. Roger McElroy officiating. Interment will be in the Holdenville Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Ray Wilson, and her grandparents, Barney Wilson, Dorothy and Fred Jones.
