Graveside services for Seminole resident, Terrisa Lynn Wilson were scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 at the Stroud Cemetery in Stroud with Rev. Don Wilburn officiating.
Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Stroud.
Wilson died Monday, March 8, 2004, at the age of 36 in Oklahoma City.
She was born Sept. 18, 1967, in McAlester to Ken and Audrey (Jackson) Bates.
She was a nursing home cook and attended the Baptist Church.
Her grandparents preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, John Wilson of Seminole; one daughter, Margaret Williams of Wichita Falls, Texas; her parents, Ken and Audrey Bates of Seminole; one sister, Twilla Wilson of Seminole; one granddaughter and many other relatives and friends.
Eliza Wind
Funeral services for Seminole County resident, Eliza Mae Wind are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, March 22 at the Wind family home with Speaker David Wayne Deere officiating.
A wake service will be held at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 20.
She will be taken to her home at 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, with wake service to follow.
Interment will follow at the Wind family cemetery, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka.
Wind died Thursday, March 18., 2004, at the age of 73.
She was born July 22, 1930, in the Sand Creek area to Harry and Nettie Bell.
She attended Cromwell and Eufaula schools and was a lifelong member of Fish Pond Tribal Town.
She worked in maintenance at the Creek Nation Hospital and retired in 1992.
She was married to David Wind Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Nettie Bell; her husband, David Wind Jr. on Jan. 15, 2000; one sister, Francis Cosar; and one brother, Tema Tiger.
She is survived by her children, Laverna Wind of Cromwell and Nelson Wind of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren two brothers, Leon Bell of Ada and Kelly Bell of Shawnee; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pall bearers will be Andy Ray Butler, Vincent Butler, Donald Hale, Terry Yahola, Mark Little and Frank Coachman.
Honorary bearers will be Traditional Ceremony Groundsmen.
Alice Winn
Funeral services for Sasakwa native Alice Winn are set for Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Wewoka, under the direction of Myers Mortuary.
Rev. R. Woods and Rev. John Berry are scheduled to officiate.
Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Winn died Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, in Wewoka, at the age of 87.
She was born May 13, 1917 in Sasakwa, to Pearline Barkus and Bobby Cudjo.
Winn was raised in Wewoka, and later moved to Holdenville. She continued to live in Holdenville until the time of her death.
She was a domestic worker.
Winn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Edna Marine.
She is survived by a son, Milford Johnson, of St. Paul, Minn.; a brother, Rev. Jimmy Lee Cudjo, Arkansas; two sisters in Oklahoma City; four grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Jimmy ‘Frosty’ Wise
Funeral services for Seminole native, Jimmy "Frosty" Wise are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Samuel Trimiar and Kelly Tiger officiating.
Interment will follow at the England family cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Wake services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 2 at the Swearingen Funeral Home.
Wise died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at the age of 59 in Meeker.
He was born Sept. 7, 1944, in Seminole to Lewis Wise and Mandy (Tiger) Wise.
He married Mary E. (Postoak) on Dec. 10, 1983, at the Dixon Chapel in Garvin County.
He graduated from Bowlegs High School.
Wise was pastor of the Sandy Hill Baptist Church for several years.
He was also in business administration and was the former mayor of Meeker.
Wise served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era and on the Seminole Housing Authority, Seminole Nation Council and band chairman.
He was a member of the Sandy Hill Baptist Church where he pastored until his retirement due to his health.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Wise of the home; one son, Charles Epperson of Meeker; four daughters, Amy Dawn Wise Gill of Oklahoma City, Jimmie Sue Wise Anderson of Tulsa, Stephanie Rae Wise Sullivan of Alaska and Adah Renee Wise of Meeker; three step children, Ronald Gene Ahnaitty Jr. and William Joseph Ahnaitty, both of Shawnee and Kathy Ahnaitty Beavers of Dallas, Texas; father, Lewis Wise of Seminole; six brothers, Jack Wise of Grove, Evans Wise of Meeker, Winfred Joe Wise of Ixl, Timothy Wise of Weleetka, Terry Wise of Cherokee and Gerald Wise of Shawnee; five sisters, Elizabeth Middleton, Mae Wise, Annie Dixon and Geraldine Wise, all of Seminole and Charlene Lowe of Glenpool; and nine grandchildren.
Andrew Wise-Talamasey
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Andrew Wise-Talamasey, will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, May 5 at the Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka, with Rev. Houston Tiger officiating.
Wake services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 3 at the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Wewoka.
He will be taken to Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4.
Interment will be in the Narcomey family cemetery in Bowlegs, under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Andrew Wise-Talamasey, died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at the age of 59 in Shawnee.
He was born Oct. 24, 1944, in Seminole County, to Andy and Johna (Johnson) Wise-Talamasey.
He was reared in the Seminole County area and he also attended New Model School, Chilocco Indian School and Tulsa Welding School.
He was employed by Harco, in Oklahoma City, until his retirement in 1990.
He was baptized on Dec. 18, 2003, and became a member of Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Phena Jo Wise-Talamasey; one son, Jessie Wise-Talamasey; one granddaughter, Jesse Golden; one grandson, Jackie Gorsuch, Jr.; and three sisters, Margaret Hill, Linda Jones, and Christen Wise-Talamasey.
He is survived by his special friend, Carolyn Talamasey, Seminole; four daughters, Madelyn Pebworth, Seminole, Andi Talamasey, Oklahoma City, Lana West, Bristow, and Delores Talamasey, Shawnee; life long companion, Shirley Talamasey of Shawnee; four brothers, Kennedy Wise-Talamasey of Bowlegs, Ruben Wise-Talamasey of Seminole, Ellis "Eli" Wise-Talamasey of Ada, and Houston Wise-Talamasey of Pollock, La; one sister, Angel Wise-Talamasey of Ada, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will Moses Factor, Brent Factor, Ruben Talamasey, Adam West, Van Johnson, and Sawake Sulphur.
Karen Wolf
Funeral services for Seminole resident Karen Sue Wolf were scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday March 6 at Little River Mission Church with Rev. Danny Faulkner officiating.
Interment will follow at Wolf family cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Wolf died Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at the age of 45 west of Seminole.
She was born Sept.13, 1958, in Inglewood, Calif. to Redmond Wolf and Kizzie Kay (Tiger) Wolf.
She lived most of her life in Seminole and was a member of Little River Mission Church.
She was a homemaker and was employed at Seminole Estates Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide.
She was preceded in death by her mother; one sister, Margie Wolf; and one brother, Eric Wolf.
She is survived by three sons, Dale Harrison of Earlsboro, Jessie D. Harrison of Seminole and Jacob Lee Harrison of Tulsa; two daughters, Amy Denise Harrison and Autumn Dawn Harrison, both of Seminole; four brothers, Johnny Wolf, Curtis Wolf and Redmond Wolf Jr.. all of Seminole, and Roger Wolf of California; two sisters, Miselda Wolf of Wewoka and Charlotte Wolf of Seminole; and seven grandchildren.
Casket bearers were Ronnie Cole, Jared Grisso, Chris Harjo, Philip Harrison, Stephen Wolf and Mike Bunner.
Honorary bearers were Eric Coley and Lloyd Martin.

Funeral services for infant, Shelly Rence Wolf are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the Hitchitee Church with Revs. Paul Wolf and Redmond Wolf officiating.
Interment will follow at Hitchitee Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Wolf died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at the age of one day at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City..
She was born Jan. 30, 2004, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, to Joseph Joey Wolf and Ariellia Marie Tanyan.
She was preceded in death by great grandparents, George and Nessie Tiger, and Jack and Buster Wolf.
She is survived by her parents, Joseph Wolf and Ariellia Tanyan of the home, grandparents, Clara Tiger and Artemus Tanyan, both of Seminole, Elizabeth and Ed Lagrone of Muskogee, and Larry and Lisa Wolf of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Destiny Tanyan, Georgina Tanyan and Kristan Wolf, all of Seminole; and two brothers, Michael Wolf of Seminole and Wyatt Wolf of Konawa.
Pall bearers will be Daniel Tanyan, Adam Tanyan, Afton Hill, Michael Wolf, Tony Tiger, Josh Craig, Leo Moppin and Daniel Haney.
