Graveside services for former Seminole County resident Billie Doil Almon were held today at 2 p.m. at Little Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home in Shawnee.
Almon, 88, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005 in Clinton.
Harry Almon
Graveside services for lifelong Seminole resident Harry Ross Almon are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Little Cemetery with Rev. Jabez W. Almon to officiate.
The services will be under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Almon, 84, died Friday, July 15, 2005 at his residence. He was born Jan. 23, 1921 in Seminole to John Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Croy) Almon.
He was retired from Tinker Air Force Base as an electrical engineer and had served in the United States Air Force during World War II.
His parents; his wife, Loretta (April 30, 1980) and one sister-in-law, Bernice Almon (July 3, 2005) preceded him in death.
Surviving are three brothers, Jabez W. Almon of Midwest City, Harold Almon of Marlow and Odell Almon of Bebee, Ark. and one sister, Mary Francis Davis of Paden.
Evelyn Darlene Anderson
Graveside service for Seminole resident Evelyn Darlene Anderson are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at the Paden Cemetery with Rev. Brett Allen officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
Anderson died Saturday, April 16, 2005, in Seminole at the age of 43.
She was born in Shawnee on Oct. 21, 1961, to Charles Ovanual Allen and Charlotte Jean (Smith) Leonard.
Anderson was preceded in death by her mother and two sisters, Jackie Benson and Debra Jean Allen.
She is survived by her sons, Jason Allen of Paden and Justin Anderson of Paden; father and step-mother, Charles O. and Linda Allen of Paden; brother, Curtis Wade Leonard of Seminole; sister, Donita Cloud of Okemah; and one grand daughter.
Harry R. Anderson
Graveside services for former Seminole resident Harry R. Anderson are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Rev. Paul Anderson, Minister, Sunnybrook Christian Curch in Stillwater, is to officiate the service.
The services are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home in Lawton.
Anderson, 88, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at a Lawton hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1917 in Springfield, Mo. to Paul and Ethel (Meek) Anderson.
He is a Seminole High School graduate and in 1941 he went to work for civil service as a Management Analyst and then as a Military Property Auditor before retiring in 1973.
Anderson married Adrienne Parks in Seminole on Dec. 27, 1943.
He was elected to the Lawton City Council and served as a councilman for 12 years. During that time, he served as Mayor Pro Temp for five years.
Anderson also served on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Municipal League, serving as the vice-president and then as president.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lawton.
His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Barnes and Steve of Edmond; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul Anderson and Linda of Stillwater; five grandchildren, Michelle Parks and her husband Deryck of Euless, Texas, Margaret Crump and her husband Bonar of Tulsa, Merry Wilson and her husband Gary of Broken Arrow; Luke Anderson and his wife Terri of Frisco, Texas and Seth Anderson of Atlanta, Ga.
In addition, four great-grandchildren, Kiley, Caden, Raegan and Ryleigh; and one expectant great-granddaughter, baby Girl Crump, all survive him.
Tamberlyn Anderson
Memorial services for Seminole resident Tamberlyn Sue Anderson are scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, May 15 at The Lighthouse Tabernacle Church of God in Seminole.
Services will be officiated by Pastor Bruce Benson and Chaplain Karen Smith–McCullar.
Tammy died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Seminole Medical Center after a long fight against cancer. She was born Oct. 1, 1966 in Arcata, Calif. to Linda and Tom Hanson.
She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who was a member of The Lighthouse Tabernacle of God and she loved her Lord.
Tammy is survived by her husband Robert Anderson of the home; her parents, Tom and Linda Hanson of Seminole; nieces Crystal Erb–Hanson, Amanda Erb-Hanson, Alexis Hester, Jamie Hester, Mariah Hester and Cara Hester; nephews Brain Mays, R.J. Erb-Hanson and Matthew Hanson.
In addition she has other nieces and nephews residing in California; sisters-in-law Janene Anderson, Audrey Anderson and daughter Kelsey; seven living children residing in California and many friends surviving.
Vickie Helen Anderson
Graveside services for Vickie Helen Anderson, a former member of Kaney Chapel United Methodist Church near Bowlegs, are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the church’s cemetery, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Rev. David Wilson is set to officiate.
Anderson died Oct. 16, 2003, in Pampa, Texas, at the age of 44, and was buried there, initially unidentified, before being moved to Seminole County.
She was born Nov. 28, 1958, in Claremore, to Ben Tom Anderson and Helen Marie (Pidgeon) Anderson, and was raised by Sylvia and Jerry Baker of Wetumka.
Anderson graduated from Shawnee High School.
She attended Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech and worked as a nurses aide.
Anderson was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ben Tom Anderson and Ted Harjo.
She is survived by two sisters, Sylvia Baker of Wetumka and Kepsey Fixico of Lawrence, Kan.; a brother, John Harjo, of Ada; two sons, Kevin Baker and Darrell Baker, both of Lawrence, Kan.; and a daughter, Diana Baker, of Wetumka.

Mary Andres
A memorial service is scheduled for former Seminole County resident Mary Kathryn Mincher Andres at 2 p.m. Saturday at Gleaners Holiness Church in Wewoka with Larry Chesser officiating.
Interment is scheduled to take place in Modesto, Calif. on March 4, 2005.
Andres died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 n Mercy Hospital. She was born in Wetumka on June 6, 1945 to Nora Mae Morse and Clarence Everette Mincher.
Surviving her are her children, Ronnie Carl Cardenas, Bobbie Dale Cardenas, Juanita Maria Cardenas Gomez, Jessie Jr. Sanchez and J.D. Aaron Hall; brothers, R.C. Carter, Everette Lee Mincher and Richard Dale Mincher; one sister Margie Sue; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Floyd Andrews
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Floyd Edward Andrews are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bill Eisenhower Southeast Chapel in Del City.
Interment is to follow service at Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Bill Eisenhower Funeral Homes, Inc.
Andrews, 77, resided and died in Oklahoma City Saturday, Jan. 1, 2004. He was born Jan. 22, 1927 in Okemah to James Everet and Olive (Arthur) Kane.
He was retired from Tinker Air Force Base and enjoyed training horses and listening to country music. Andrews was a member of Heavenly Heights Baptist Church
His parents; wife, Verna; son Rodney; two brothers, Jim and Raymond all preceded him in death.
Surviving him are three sons, Frank, Mickey and Steven Andrews; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Daniel ‘Chebon’ Griffin Armstrong
Daniel "Chebon" Griffin Armstrong has passed on to be with the Lord. Danny left us on Wednesday afternoon Nov. 23 of 2005 at Carl Albert Hospital in Ada.
Danny was born April 8, 1942 in Konawa to Hobart and Irene Armstrong. He was a member of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe. He was very proud of his Indian Heritage, and loved to do his Indian Arts and Crafts. Danny was a hard worker and did general labor for many around the Konawa and Asher area. Danny has resided in the Asher and Konawa area all his life. He attended Asher School and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Asher.
Family and friends were very important to Danny so he enjoyed getting together and visiting.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Hobart and Irene Armstrong, one sister Mary Wiley and one brother Robert Armstrong.
Survivors include five sisters, Vesta Mauch of San Bernardino, Calif., Betty Burgess of Ada, Nettie Moreland and Edna Odell both of Asher, and Katie Breeden of Ada. He is survived by two brothers, Bill Armstrong and Frank Armstrong, both of Konawa, many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Saturday at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Frank Moppin of Spring Indian Baptist Church of Sasakwa. Burial will be at Vamoosa Cemetery.
There will be a wake service held Friday at 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home. Officiating is Rev. Arthur Carpitcher of Pentecostal Indian Mission of Konawa.
Pallbearers will be Frank Armstrong, Larry Bruno, Travis Odell, Darrell Armstrong, Steve Anderson and Ronnie Odell.
Honorary Bearers will be Bill Armstrong, Hobart Armstrong, Brian Bruno and Bob Armstrong.
Services are under the direction of Pickard-Swearingen Funeral Home.
