Funeral services for former Seminole resident Thomas Delos Harrington are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Clarence York officiating.
Interment will follow services at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Harrington, 45, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 in Oklahoma City. He was born May 4, 1960 in Jackson, Mich. To Phyllis Irene (Chase) Collums and Gerald Rex Harrington.
He was a diesel mechanic for over 15 years for Westquip in Oklahoma City.
His parents and one son, Jason Harrington, preceded him in death.
Surviving is son, Thomas J. Harrington of Seminole; daughter, Cheri Danniel Harrington of Stillwater; three brothers, Richard Harrington of Maud, Davis Harrington of Owasso and Buddy Collums of Cushing and three sisters, Teresa Morris of Tecumseh, Donna Dinwiddie of Shawnee and Rene Woodard of Chandler.
James "Jimmy" Harrison
A memorial service is scheduled for former Wewoka resident James "Jimmy" Lee Harrison at 10 a.m. Saturday with Bro. Dale Jennings to officiate and special music by Henry Baker.
Harrison died January 20, 2005 in Pendleton, Ore. He was born in Holdenville on Dec. 19, 1947 to Eugene and Susie Harrison. His father preceded him in death.
He lived in Wewoka until his early teens and attended Compton Special School.
Surviving him is his mother Susie Harrison of Wewoka; three sisters, Mary Gantt of Wewoka, Peggy Smith of Holdenville and Carol Schaff of St. Helens, Ore.; and three brothers, Raymond Harrison of Portland, Ore., Richard Harrison of Medford, Ore. and John Harrison of Oregon.
Jimmy Harrison
Funeral services for former Wewokan James Lee "Jimmy" Harrison were held Sunday in Pendleton, Ore.
A memorial service is being planned later at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Harrison died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, in Pendleton.
He was born Dec. 19, 1947, in Holdenville to Eugene and Susie Harrison.
He attended Compton Elementary School in Wewoka before moving to Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother, Susie Harrison of Wewoka; brothers Raymond Harrison, Portland, Ore., Rick Harrison, Central Point, Ore., and John Paul Harrison, Dundee, Ore.; sisters Mary Gantt, Wewoka, Carol Schaff, St. Helens, Ore., and Peggy Smith, Holdenville.
James Harrod
Wewoka resident James D. Harrod passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2005 in Ada at the age of 88.
He was the County Treasurer for over 20 years and a member of the Wewoka Rotary, County Officers Association and Seminole Soil Conservation.
James was born Nov. 12, 1916 in Holdenville to Otho Harrod and Tennie Douglas Harrod. He graduated from Holdenville High School and Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Wewoka with Rev. Michael Vanlandingham officiating.
James and Jerry Isley were married in February 1945 in Wewoka.
He was a farmer and rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church, Wewoka, where he served as deacon and the Men’s Prayer club.
Harrod has been active in Sorghum Days since it’s beginning and in 2000 he was named Wewoka Citizen of the Year and in 2003 he was nominated for Farmer & Rancher of the Year.
James was also a member of the Seminole Cattlemen’s Association and a Veteran of World War II.
His parents preceded him in death.
His survivors include his wife, Jerry, of the home; son Mike Harrod of LaJuna Beach, Calif.; daughters, Leslie Scott of Sacramento, Calif. and Lisa Tucker of Wewoka; sister, Maxine Dawson of Reno, Nev.; four grandchildren, Melodee Chandler, Ashlei Tucker Tiffee, Blake Harrod Tucker and Heath Tucker and two great-grandchildren, Christian and Caleb.
Alta Hatchell
Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident Alta Arvilla Hatchell are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Little Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield to officiate.
The services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Hatchell, 93, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005 at her home in Seminole. She was born July 4, 1912 in Little Rock, Ark. to Henry Loftis and Frances (Clines) Loftis.
She married Bill Loudermilk who died in 1949, and then she married J.B. Hatchell in 1963. He preceded her in death in 1972.
Hatchell was a cook, waitress and nurse’s aide in her earlier years and then a homemaker.
Surviving is her son Billy Loudermilk of Seminole; one sister, Virginia Rush of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Michael Ryan Helt
Graveside service for great-grandson of Wewoka residents Frank and Lou Gore are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Rest Haven memorial Gardens. Rev. Wayne Sloan and Rev. Harold A. Turner are set to officiate.
Interment will follow. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Helt was born and died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at Midwest City Renaissance for Women.
His father is Bobby Lee Helt, Jr. and his mother is Tammy Ann James.
Helt was preceded in death by his maternal great-great-grandmother, Margret Gore; and great-grandparents Jerry Stirman, Robert E. Lee Helt, and Rachel and Clarence James.
He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents, Charles and Eunice James of Tecumseh; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Kim Helt of Tecumseh; paternal great-grandparents, Frank and Lou Gore of Wewoka; maternal great-grandmothers, Shirley Helt of Yukon and Evelyn Stirman of Tecumseh and a host of other family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are Brad Loftis, Corey Frank and Joseph Hopkins.
Reba Faye Hendryx
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Leo Streater officiating.
Reba Faye (Walker) Hendryx, longtime Seminole resident, passed away, Friday, Dec. 23, 2005 in Oklahoma City at the age of 79. She was born on July 30, 1926, to Arthur and Effie (Long) Walker in Vian, Okla.
Reba married Hershell Hendryx on Sept. 27, 1947, in Gainesville, Texas.
She was a homemaker and assisted her husband in their trucking business and was a member of the Ideal Street Baptist Church and the Tracy Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are two daughters, Janice Hendryx and Gina Hendryx of Oklahoma City; one son, Steven Hendryx of Seminole; two brothers, Ray Walker of Ada and Robert Walker of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Vera Anderson of Tulsa and Ruby Hook of Worland, Wyo. and two grandchildren, Cruz Hendryx and Jordyn Banta.
Her parents; husband, Hershell Hendryx (Aug. 15, 1998); one sister, Pauline Kline and one brother, Floyd Walker preceded her in death.

Lettie Hicks
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Lettie Marie Hicks are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Chris Stinnett and Kirk Cowell officiating.
Interment is to follow services at 3 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Lettie, 87 passed away, Friday, Oct. 7, 2005 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home. She was born Aug. 3, 1918 in Dustin, Okla. to John William and Peal Mae (Burton) Hamlin.
She married Weldon Orville Hicks on Nov. 11, 1942 in Seminole, he preceded her in death Nov. of 1976.
Lettie was retired from Minehoma Insurance Company in Tulsa where she worked as a secretary for over 25 years.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Seminole.
Her parents, husband and one sister, Birdie Mae, precede her in death.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Judith and Andrew Long of Harlingen, Texas; two sisters, Mary Parker of Huntsville, Texas and Minnie Evans of Seminole; four grandchildren, Loretta and husband Dwayne Hunnicutt, Emily and husband Greg Wright, Sandy and husband Kirk Cowell and Heather and husband Noel Smith.
Four great grandchildren, Jack and Morgan Wright and Drew and Lauren Smith also survive her.

Frances Higgins
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Frances Pipkin Higgins are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at McFarlin Memorial Methodist Church in Norman with rev. Cal Brannon officiating.
Interment will follow services at Little Cemetery under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
Mrs. Higgins, 79, died Friday, April 15, 2005 in Norman. She was born Sept. 4, 1925 in Seminole to Lemuel and Blanche (Dunaway) Pipkin.
She married Ray Higgins Dec. 7, 1946 in Seminole and taught at Lincoln School in Norman for over 20 years.
Mrs. Higgins was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and also served as their Chapter Advisor for many years.
She was also a member of Norman Leadership Plus and she enjoyed a number of Hobbies including gardening, needlepoint and traveling.
Her husband, daughter Peggy Donzell, and five brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include her three daughters, Maree Sneed and husband James H. of Potomac, Md., Claudia Higgins and husband J. Gordon Stephens of Arlington, Va. And Pat Matteson and husband Ed of Chicago Heights, Ill.; two nephews, Bill Pipkin of Moore and Barry Pipkin of Joplin, Mo.; eight grandchildren, Christopher Donzell, Melissa and Drew Stephens, Eddie, Travis, Ruthanne Frances, Neal and Scott Matteson and niece Marsha Everett of Memphis, Tenn.
