Jones, 74, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 in Shawnee. She was born Nov. 15, 1930 in Wewoka to Richard Cummings and Myrtle Bramlett Cummings.
She attended Butner Schools and was a member of The Baptist Church Wewoka and had worked as a cashier at Smith’s Super Market.
On Sept. 7, 1948 she married Gilbert Samuel Jones in Wewoka where they made their home.
Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include son Rick Jones of California; daughters, Sherri Mariott of Wewoka and Tammie Douglas of Louisiana; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Jerry Cummings of Graham, Texas and Perry Cummings of Arlington, Texas.
Eddie K. Jones
Funeral service for lifelong Seminole County resident Eddie K. Jones is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Evangelist Temple C.O.G.I.C., in Holdenville.
Elder John T. Berry of Shiloh Baptist Evangelist Temple C.O.G.I.C. is set to officiate.
Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Holdenville under the direction of Myers Mortuary.
Jones died Sunday, July 10, 2005, in Shawnee at the age of 57. He lived in Wewoka.
He was born Dec. 20, 1947, in Wewoka to Eddie K. Jones, Sr. and Arnethia (Thompson) Jones.
Jones attended Wewoka schools.
He worked for Todd’s Paint and Body Shop in Oklahoma City for 20 years and Brand New Body Shop in Oklahoma City for seven years.
He was a member of St. John C.M.E. church in Wewoka.
Jones was preceded in death by his father, Eddie K. Jones Sr., and two brothers, Vincent and Gary.
He is survived by his mother, Arnethia Jones of the home; son, Patrick Jones of Joplin, Mo.; daughters, Kimberly Whitfield of Lawton, Lakeshia McDonald of Decatur, Ga., and Lorraine (Koko) Harris of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother, Paul Jones, Sr.; sisters, Carolyn Jones, Margaret Samilton, Shelia Jones and Peggy Jones of Wewoka, Latrice Posey of New Lima, and Janice Jones of Norman; and four grandchildren.
Lois M. Jones
Graveside service for former Seminole County resident Lois M. Jones was scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cummings Cemetery in Muad, with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Interment was set to follow the service.
Swearingen Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Jones died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Tecumseh. She was 83.
Jones was born Nov. 27, 1921, in Byars to Ira Eubanks and Ada (McDowell) Eubanks.
On April 1, 1941, she married Harvey Earl Jones in Pauls Valley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey Earl Jones and one sister.
Jones is survived by two sons, Harvey Earl Jones of Tecumseh, and Tommy Jones of Shawnee; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Rocky Dean Jones
Funeral services for former Seminole County resident Rocky Dean Jones are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Walker Funeral Home of Shawnee.
Rev. Chuck Utsler will officiate the services. Interment is to follow services at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Shawnee resident Rocky Dean Jones, 44, died in his home Sunday, April 24, 2005. He was born July 5, 1960 in Holdenville to Mel and Glenna Jones.
He graduated from Shawnee High School and worked with his father in the drywall business throughout the years.
Rocky is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Daisy Jones and Jud and Bertha (Trix) Whitaker.
He is survived by his parents, Mel and Glenna Jones; one sister Kim White; one brother Kenny Jones; two nieces, Taryn and Taylor White and two nephews, Chase and Ryan Jones, all of Shawnee.
In addition, are his aunts and uncles, Bob and Oleda Newman, David and Linda Jones, Roland and Marge Jones, George and Alta Parker and Bob and Imogene Davis, all of Wewoka; and many other relatives.
Gene ‘Bud’ Joplin
Funeral services for longtime Maud resident Gene "Bud" Joplin are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Highway Baptist Church in Seminole with Rev. Cal Hunter to officiate.
Interment is to follow at Oakgrove Cemetery in Ada under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home.
Joplin, 69, died Monday, July 11, 2005 at Integris Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was born April 18, 1936 in McAlester to Boyd and Ola (Richie) Joplin. Bud married Sandy Faye Bussey on July 5, 1985 in Maud.
Bud worked at Bluebell/Wrangler for 17 years in Seminole and Carpenter. He also worked for the City of Maud for five years.
His parents, one brother and one infant sister preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Debbie Joplin of Wolf and Kelley and Karrie Joplin of Seminole; one stepson and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Amber Russell of Maud; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Robert Mink of Roff and one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Keri and Scott Laplant of Shawnee.
In addition, three brothers, Howard "Ruddy" Joplin of Sulphur, Wayne Joplin and Richard Joplin, both of Ada; two sisters, Norma Wilson and Ruthie Pogue, both of Ada and 11 grandchildren survive him.
Pallbearers for the services will be Marty Joplin, Kelley Joplin, Dustin Joplin, Logan Joplin, Robert Mink and Aaron Russell.
Honorary bearers will be David Bussey, Mike Bussey, Richard Joplin, Wayne Joplin and R.C. Pogue.

Funeral services for Wewoka resident Earl Melvin Jordan are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Dr. Jack Medlock to officiate.

Jordan, 50 died Friday, Sept. 9, 2005 at his home. He was born Dec. 9, 1954 in Stamford, N.Y. to Earl Willard Jordan and Lorna (Delong) Vance.
He married Carol Lavonne Dunkerson on July 12, 1973 and was the owner of Earl’s Tire and Auto Service in Antlers for 10 years.
Jordan was a, E-6 sergeant with the National Guard and a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
One brother, Ray Medler, preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife of the home; mother, Lorna Vance of Broken Bow; three sons, Michael D. Jordan, Matt Jordan and Dewayne Jordan, all of Seminole; one daughter, Tina Billings of Seminole; three brothers, David Jordan of Del City, Glenn Jordan of Marland and Tommy Jordan of Bowlegs.
In addition, three sisters, Jamie Durant of Idabel, Cindy Thompson of Glover and Hayley Dickerson of Broken Bow and 13 grandchildren survive him.

Jimmy Marshall Allen Crockett Jordan
Funeral services for Maud resident Jimmy "Jimmy Mac" Marshall Allen Crockett Jordan are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
Jordan’s remains will be cremated so there will be no burial. There will be a cremation service. Arrangements are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud.
Jordan died Monday, July 18, 2005, in Maud. He was 30.
Born July 14, 1975, in Seminole to Jimmy Leroy Jordan and Cathy Ann (Fitzsimmons) Jordan, he was a life lifelong Maud resident.
Jordan worked as a barn builder for Richard Gober.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Dave Jordan in 2004, and his father Jimmy Leroy Jordan in 2001.
Jordan is survived by his mother, Cathy Jordan of Maud; the mother of his children, Sara Jordan of Maud; three sons, Daniel Reilly Jordan, Jimmy Glen Jordan and Coalton Henry Jordan all of Maud; brother, Jeramiah Jordan of Maud; two sisters, Lisa Jordan of Midwest City and Ashley Jordan of Maud; and paternal grandmother, Alice Jordan of Maud.
Paul Jordan
Funeral services for Seminole resident Paul Odis "Odie" Jordan are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Little Chapel with Chris Stinnett officiating.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Jordan, 61, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005 in Oklahoma City. He was born April 25, 1944 in Seminole to Paul David and Wanda Dean (Langdon) Jordan.
He was retired from the oilfield industry and was a member of the Cherokee Hills Church of Christ in Bethany.
His parents and one sister, Kathy Hilton preceded him in death.
Surviving is one son, Lance Jordan of Moore; five daughters, Kanda Robertson of Catawba, S.C., Paula Long and Regina Deninno, both of South Carolina, Shawna Islam of Oklahoma City and Jody Jordan of San Angelo, Texas; three stepchildren, John Campbell, Rose and Tasha Campbell, all of Enid; one sister, Sue Holland of Seminole; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Cevin Holland, Scott Holland, Eric Hilton, Kenny Long, Ben LeBarre and Ron Kiser. Honorary bearers will be Tommy Robertson II and Jackie Jones Sr.
