Funeral services for lifelong Seminole resident Francis (Warrior) Woodfork are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Seminole with Bishop Bobby L. Williams officiating.
Interment is to follow services at the Warrior Cemetery in Checotah under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Woodfork, 85, died Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. She was born Nov. 11, 1919 in Sasakwa to Frank Factor Warrior and Sadie (Thomas) Warrior.
She married Jessie Woodfork in 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Woodfork was a homemaker and a member of the Galilee Temple of Praise and Deliverance in Seminole.
Her parents, husband, son Jesse Woodfork Jr. and three brothers all preceded her in death.
Surviving is her daughter C.M. Crawford of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Betty J. Woods
Funeral services for former Seminole County resident Betty Jo (Stokes) Woods were scheduled for 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at the Hayhurst Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, under the direction of Hayhurst Funeral Home of Broken Arrow.
Rev. Larry Varvel, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial is set to follow at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
Woods died at St. Francis Hospital Sunday, March 6, 2005, at the age of 85.
She was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Allen, to Russell and Rose (Dyer) Stokes.
Woods was a 1937 graduate of Wewoka High School, and attended the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha.
She married J.L. Woods on Dec. 21, 1941 in Oklahoma City.
They moved to Broken Arrow this February from Ryan, where they had lived the last 33 years.
Woods was employed with the First State Bank of Ryan as Vice President.
Her hobbies included stamp collecting and painting China.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church of Ryan.
Woods was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Marry Alice Echard.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Jim Woods, of Broken Arrow, and Larry Woods, of East Lansing, Mich.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Memorials may be sent to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
Jackie Woody
Funeral services for former longtime Seminole resident Jackie Gale Woody are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Praise Assembly of God Church in Little.
Bro. Doyle Seeley is to officiate with interment to follow services at Little Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
Woody, 61, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005 in Oklahoma City. He was born Dec. 2, 1943 in Prague to Jessie Daniel and Mattie Lee (Ellis) Woody.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was an avid sports fan and loved his dogs.
His parents, one sister and one brother preceded him in death.
Surviving is son, Kelly Woody of Shawnee; daughters, Tammy Tate of Shawnee and Debi Miller of Edmond; brothers, Danny Woody of Prague and Billy Joe Woody of Beggs; sister, Pat Hall of Seminole; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Robert P. Wright
Funeral services for former Seminole coach Robert P. Wright are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Douglas Blvd. United Methodist Church of Midwest City.
Burial will follow at Fleetwood Cemetery at 3:30 in Sallisaw under the direction of Bill Eisenhour N.E. Funeral Home.
Wright, 90, of Midwest City, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2005. He was born on Oct. 25, 1914 in Hanson, Okla. to Jake and Lydia (Faulkner) Wright.
He served in the United States Air Force during WW II. Robert was a teacher and a coach for 20 years.
The love and enjoyment he got from coaching took the family to several schools throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia of Midwest City; daughters, Debbie and husband, Lonnie McGuire of Midwest City, Patty and her husband, Steve Barker of Midwest City; son Terry and wife, Janice of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren Todd McGuire and wife Lisa, Teri Carrier and husband Cam, Tanner McGuire, Shawna Walker and husband Neville; three great-grandchildren, Mason Carrier, Kendall Carrier and Jalen Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Roberta; brother, Frank and sister Vennie.
Willie Wright
Graveside services for Seminole resident Willie Wright are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday at Maple Grove Cemetery with Noma Mansell officiating.

Willie Waldon Wright, longtime Seminole resident passed away, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005 in Oklahoma City at the age of 82. He was born March 2, 1923 to Willie Brice and Doris Ruby (Braboy) Wright in Rexroat, Okla.
He was retired from the oilfield where he worked for Seminole Company for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 204 in Seminole.
Willie married Ruth (Lewis) Wright on Oct. 18, 1942 in St. Louis, Okla., she preceded him in death on Sept. 7, 1995.
He is survived by two sons, Richard Wright of Lexington, Okla. and Rod Wright of Elk City; one daughter, Lisa Moss of McLoud; two brothers, Herman David Wright of Midland, Texas and Leniol Keith Wright of Seminole; two sisters, Lois Everhart of Henryetta, Texas, Dorothy Faye Seibel of Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Five grandchildren, Amber Lee, Brandon Jenkins, Shelly Bell, Jennifer Wright, and Crystal Wright, one great-grandchild, Brady Bell and one great-great grandchild, Kiley Phillips, also survive him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son, Mickey Randall Wright and brother, Edwin Brice Wright.
Raymond Yahola
Funeral services for Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church member Raymond Yahola are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at his church.
Burial will follow in West Cemetery under the direction of Stout Phillips Funeral Home.
He will be taken to the church on Sunday at 4 p.m. for a wake service at 7 p.m.
Yahola died Tuesday, March 30, 2005, at the age of 50.
He was born March 24, 1955, in Claremore, to Harry and Pearline (Harjo) Yahola.
He graduated from Classen High School and attended Pioneer Vo-Tech in Ponca City.
After high school, he worked as a self-employed auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children, Rodney Yahola, Sparks, Nev., and Rhonda Yahola, Oklahoma City; one brother, Michael Yahola, Oklahoma City; and three sisters, Erma Yahola and Debra Cardenaz, both of Oklahoma City, and Betty Yahola, Elkhart, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Kevin, Marvin, Jason and Scott Yahola, Esequiel Cardenas and Tim Wood.
Beverley Yonnes
Funeral services have not been scheduled at this time for Maud resident Beverley Ann Yonnes.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Yonnes, 55, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005 at her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1949 in Shawnee to Glenn L. Powers and Mary E. (Buckmaster) Powers.
On May 16, 1996 she married Terry L. Yonnes in Oklahoma City and was a homemaker.
She has been a Maud resident for three years having moved from Midwest City.
Surviving is her husband of the home; one daughter, Dianna Thompson of Oklahoma City; one son, Patrick Shawn Brown of Shawnee; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
Isabel Jane ‘Liz’ Zbavitel (Bicek)
Isabel Jane "Liz" Zbavitel (Bicek), age 69, Seminole resident, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, in Shawnee.
She was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Oklahoma City to John and Kate Bicek.
She married Tom Zbavitel on April 14, 1956, in Oklahoma City. Immediately after their marriage they moved to California and lived there for 21 years.
Tom and Liz moved to Bowlegs in 1977 and continued to raise their family. Liz moved to Seminole in 2003 as a widow.
She attended high school at Mount Saint Mary High School in Oklahoma City.
She was a member of Saint Edward Catholic Church in Newark, Calif. and was an active member of Saint Edward School PTA.
She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole.
She taught lower grade CCD classes after her retirement at the church. Mrs. Zbavitel worked for Sears from 1978 to1998 until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, and then her parents. Isabel was also preceded in death by her husband Tom on Sept. 27, 1998.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Mike Magruder of Seminole, one son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Jessica Zbavitel of Muskogee, and a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and James Weger of Shawnee; six granddaughters, Katelyn and Mallory Magruder, Vanessa and Rachel Weger, Emily and Julie Zbavitel. Isabel is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A rosary is set to be held Friday at 7 p.m., at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Seminole with Father Basil Keenan, O.S.B. presiding.
The burial will follow at the Czech National Cemetery in Prague at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Viewing will be held at the funeral home until 10 a.m., Saturday.
Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole is in charge of the arrangements.
Tollie Zitterkopf
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Tollie Zitterkopf are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Strothers Chapel at Maple Grove. Dwayne Dennis is set to officiate.
Interment is set to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. Swearingen Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Zitterkopf died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at Pioneer Nursing Home in Seminole. She was 85.
She was born Dec. 13, 1919, in Centrahoma to Cleney Griffin Barnett and Daisy May (Herrin) Barnett.
Zitterkopf moved from California to Seminole in 1985 and to Shawnee in 1993.
At one time she owned Al’s TV in Seminole.
Zitterkopf attended the Church of Christ in Shawnee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Christine Wheat; two brothers, Paul and Dick Barnett.
Zitterkopf is survived by one brother, Bill Pete Barnett of Seminole and one sister, Kathryn Collings of Seminole.
Pallbearers are scheduled to be Jeremy Dennis, Zach Dennis, Dillon Smith, Scott Cormack, Bobby Boyer and Larry Pulliam.
