Funeral services for former Wewoka resident Lisa Jaree Factor are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Bird Creek Indian Baptist Church with Rev. George Harjochee and Rev. Steve Holata officiating.
Wake services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow services at Bird Creek Indian Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Factor, age 27, of Ada died in a in a car accident Thursday, July 27, 2006 near Konawa. She was born Jan. 13, 1979 in Claremore to Joseph Factor and Angel Talmasey.
She attended school in Lawrence, Kan. and received a certificate in drafting from Pontotoc Technology and a CNA certificate.
At present she was attending East Central University and working for Interactive Responsive Technologies as a customer service representative.
Factor was baptized on Oct. 20, 1985 at the age of six years at Bird Creek Indian Baptist Church.
Her grandparents, Andy and Jonah Wise Talmasey and Bernie and Nannie Factor preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Calandra Gale Factor and Paris Dawn Beaver, both of Ada; parents, Joseph Factor of Wewoka and Angel Talmasey of Ada; stepfather, Sammy Cole of Ada; sister, Lisa Burton of Lawrence, Kan. and three brothers, Brent Factor, Aaron Moses Factor and Chris Factor, all of Ada.
Theresa Fairman
Funeral services for Theresa Fairman are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gary Wilburn officiating.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Longtime Seminole resident Theresa Fairman passed away on Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 60. She was born on Sept. 17, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to Edwin and Elsie (Delasandro) Allen.
She married Jimmie Earl Fairman in Eureka Springs; they were together for 24 years before he passed in August of 2003.
Theresa worked at Doyle’s Quick Stop in Seminole for many years.
She is survived by daughters, Cristine Rowe of Stigler, Oklahoma and Natalie Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Michael Allen, Sr. of Columbus, Ohio, and one sister.
She is also survived by nephew Jon Dale and his wife Regina Reynolds of Clayton, Okla., and nine grandchildren, Kara Rowe, David Rowe, Gretchen Fray, Michael Allen, Randy Brooksbank, Richie Brooksbank, Race Carley, Rikki Reynolds and Tesa Reynolds.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Jimmie Earl Fairman.
Pallbearers will be Jon Dale Reynolds, John Bristow, Allen Oles, David Rowe, Junior Wetworth and Jerod Hearrell.
Elsie Faulkner
Funeral services for Holdenville resident Elsie Mae Faulkner were held today at 2 p.m., west of Wewoka at the Ministry of Life Fellowship Church.
Rev. Frank Moppin and Rev. Ed Bear officiated with interment at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.
Faulkner passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 in Shawnee at the age of 83. She was born in Sasakwa on May 23, 1923 to Chiley and Eliza Puntka McGirt.
She is full blood Indian of Creek/Seminole tribes and is a member of the Alligator Clan and Little River Tulsa tribal town.
Faulkner was a member of Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa and later attended Ministry of Life Fellowship Church in Wewoka.
On Feb. 14th she married James Faulkner in Holdenville and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She liked to cook and prepare meals.
Her parents; children, Raymond McGirt, Linda McGirt, Samuel Powell and Larry Faulkner; granddaughter, Teresa Powell; great-grandson, Joey Madden and sisters, Ella Coon, Togie Harjo and Emma Franks preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of the home; 10 children, Terry Faulkner, Gary Faulkner and Ricky Faulkner, of the home and Fred Billy, Lucille Farber and Janie Harjo, all of Holdenville and Danny Faulkner, Teresa Conley, both of Wewoka and Jimcy McGirt and Tony Faulkner, both of Tulsa; brothers, Walter McGirt of Okemah, William McGirt of Oklahoma City and Jimmy McGirt of Wewoka; 42 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the services were Jamie Powell, Randell Billy, Steven McGirt, Kevin Farber, Eric Harjo, Justin Faulkner, Nicholas Faulkner and Gerran Scott.
Honorary bearers were Wayne Harjo, David Conley, Charlie Franks, Jimmy Lee Harjo, Joe Coon, Roland McGirt, Pete Harjo and Jerry "Cheddy" Brown.
Larry Faulkner
A memorial service for Holdenville resident Larry Dean Faulkner was held at 10 a.m. today at Ministry of Life Church in Wewoka with Rev. Danny Faulkner and Rev. Tony Faulkner officiating.
Interment followed at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Faulkner, 42, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005 in Denver, Colo. He was born Nov. 29, 1962 in Holdenville to James and Elsie (McGirt) Faulkner.
He was a Seminole Nation firefighter and had spent several years fighting fires throughout the United States. He enjoyed the times he spent with his fellow firefighters.
One brother, Samuel Powell; maternal grandparents, Chiley McGirt and Eliza Puntka and his paternal grandparents, James Oscar Faulkner and Edna Weathered Faulkner preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Nichols Faulkner of Tulsa; one daughter, Amelia (Millie) Faulkner of Mesquite, Texas; his parents, James and Elsie Faulkner of Holdenville; seven brothers, Fred Billie, Terry Faulkner, Gary Faulkner, Ricky Faulkner, Jimcy McGirt of Lawton, Danny Faulkner of Wewoka, and his twin Tony Faulkner of Tulsa and three sisters, Lucille McGirt and Janie Harjo of Holdenville and Teresa Conley of Wewoka.
Honorary pallbearers for the services were Danny Powell, Bunny Powell, Pete Harjo, Stanley Tiger and Freddie Footracer.
Edward J. Feken
Funeral services for the grandfather of Seminole residents Laurie Lewis, Kristy Emmitt, Zane Feken and Chadd Feken and Tecumseh resident Lisa Camp are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Perry. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate.
Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry.
Edward "Ed" J. Feken, 86, of Perry, Okla. was born Oct. 10, 1919 in Perry and was the son of Folkert and Wilamina (Bose) Feken. He passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006 at Cushing Regional Hospital in Cushing.
Ed attended Happy Hill rural school and had lived in Noble County most of his life.
He and Laura P. Gray were married on Dec. 7, 1941. She preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 1973.
Ed served his country in the United States Army from 1942-1945.
On July 28, 1974, Ed married June Donoho.
Ed was a Safeway store manager for 31 years before retiring in April 1976. He also worked two years at the Lintz Department Store, was an assistant manager of Mr. Discount convenience store for seven years and worked at the Homeland store for nine years.
He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Perry Lions Club and a 50-year member of the American Legion Post. He also served on the Noble County Fair Board and was an honorary 4-H Sponsor.
Ed dedicated his life to serving and helping people.
His parents, Folkert and Wilamina Feken; his first wife, Laura P. Feken; one son, Ben Feken; two grandsons, Edward Feken and Daniel Sean Feken; three brothers, Bill Feken, Carl Feken and Fred Feken; and three sisters, Grace Feken, Jennie Skala and Anna Kukuk preceded him in death.
In addition to his wife, June, Ed is survived by three sons, Eddie Feken and his wife, Kathy, of Perry, Fred Feken and his wife, Valerie, of Tulsa, and Frank Feken and his wife, Janet, of Stillwater; three daughters, Darlene Klein and her husband, Bill, of Perry, Sandy Kern and her husband, Mark, of Perry and Linda McSwain, of Moore; 24 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Herman Feken and his wife, Olva, of Perry.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.

Ruth Fell
Graveside services for former Wewoka resident Ruth Dilworth Fell are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at the Norman I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman. Rev. Pam Normile will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
Fell died Thursday, July 6, 2006 in her home in Norman at the age of 99. She was born to Walter Lucien and Margaret Griffin Dilworth on Aug. 19, 1906.
Fell attended primary and secondary schools in Ardmore and graduated from Ardmore High School in 1924. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated as a Bachelor of Arts and Science in 1928.
She married Daniel Ackley Fell III in 1928 in Ardmore. The couple resided in Wewoka until 1943 when they moved to Norman where she resided until her death.
In 1941, Fell completed her Master of Arts in English Literature.
She was a member of Kappa Gamma and Phi Beta Kappa. Fell was a member of the faculty of the University of Oklahoma until her retirement.
Following her retirement from OU, she served for a number of years at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colo., until her second retirement in 1995.
Her husband, Daniel, in 1964; and one brother, William Sherrod Dilworth in 1989, preceded fell in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Thurston of Norman; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Norman Regional Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 1665, Norman, Okla. 73070.
Jarrett Fidler
Funeral services for lifelong Konawa resident, Jarrett Edward Fidler, are scheduled for Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Konawa Assembly of God Church with Rev. Steve Lowrance officiating.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Jarrett Edward Fidler died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 70. Jarrett was born on Nov. 30, 1935 in Konawa to Charles E. and Emma Dale (Bolton) Fidler.
He married Bonnie (Walton) on Jan. 19, 1965 in Sasakwa. Jarrett worked in the greater area oilfields mostly as a tool pusher. He was a member of Konawa Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Fidler of the home; one daughter, Twyla Cobbs of Yukon; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Michelle Fidler of Asher, Tony and Debie Fidler of Ponca City and Terry and Carla Fidler of Lexington; one sister, Sharon D. Hogue of Konawa; eight grandchildren, Christopher Cobbs, Zach, Tanner and Kassidi Fidler, Sydnie and Mackenzie Fidler and Shelby and Taylor Fidler; two nieces, Tammy Newby of Ada and Leanne Littelle of Ada and a host of other family & friends.
Serving, as pallbearers will be Thomas Damron, Darrell Mackey, Stanley Johnson, Jim Kelley, Randy Walker and Chris Johnson.
Honorary bearers will be Herbert Walker and Lloyd Mosley. Burial will follow in Konawa Cemetery.
Alta Jewel Fite
Funeral services for Alta Jewel Fite, 78, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ardmore with Rev. Donny Custar and Rev. Don Clark to officiate.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, Ardmore.
The family will be receiving friends at Harvey-Douglas Funeral from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday.
Daughter of the late Elmer and Tissie Fennel Bernard, she was born Feb. 6, 1927 and went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006.
A 1946 graduate of Holdenville High School, she married Wayne Fite June 3, 1948 in Holdenville.
In the late 1940’s she worked in Holdenville at Stanford’s Drug Store and J.C. Penney.
A member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, she was very active in Women’s Missionary work as long as her health permitted. She loved to sing, pray and witness about her faith.
Since 1959 she supported her husband in his pastoral ministry.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed such simple pleasures as watching the Walton’s on TV or going to Braum’s for ice cream.
Her great love was her church; she felt great compassion for the poor and quietly contributed to their support.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Wayne Fite of the home; son Allen Fite of Ardmore; daughter and son-in-law, Traeda and Butch Caldwell of Duncan; six grandchildren, Todd Eperley, Michelle Edwards, Chasity Lamb, Weston Fite, Kim Rice and Stacy Doughty; four great-grandchildren, Luke Edwards, Kya lamb, Justin and Ethan Doughty and three nieces, Joan Woolley, Margie Milliman and Betty Hogan.
A son, Stephen Bradley Fite in 1996 and two sisters, Myrtle Roberts and Alice Colville preceded her in death.
Serving as bearers will be Jim Michael, Kenneth French, Mark Cunningham, Todd Eperley, Weston Fite and Chad Edwards.
Honorary bearers include Matt Lamb, Butch Caldwell, Paul Doughty, Gerald Rice and her Lois Sunday school class at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
