Funeral services for former Seminole area resident Karen Lynn Green of Abilene, Texas, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment is to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Green, 54, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006 in Abilene, Texas. She was born Oct. 11, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa to Jack Lawrence Clayton and Mable (McRay) Clayton.
On June 28, 1971 she married Phillip E. Green and was a homemaker.
Surviving is her husband Phillip E. Green of Abilene, Texas; five sons, Shane Allen Green of Japan, Ralph Eugene Green of Davenport, Iowa, Thomas Duane Green of Seminole, Willie Whittet of Wewoka and Mike Suing of Cheyenne, Wyo.; three daughters, Shelly Ann Green of Wewoka, Winona Senechal of Seminole and Shea Johnson of Wewoka; two brothers, Charles Lawrence Clayton and John Richard Clayton of Davenport, Iowa and several grandchildren.
Mary Louise Green
Graveside services for Wewoka resident Mary Louise Green are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at the Wetumka Cemetery in Wetumka, with the Stout-Phillips Funeral Home of Wewoka directing the services.
Green died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at the age of 81, in the Norman Specialty Hospital in Norman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Green, two brothers, and two grandchildren.
Green is survived by three children: Linda Jones of Sand Springs, Jerry Rodriguez of Houston, Texas, and Tony Rodriguez of Texas; one brother, Earnest Masters; and one sister, Sylvia Shelton.
Mary Green
Graveside services for Wewoka resident, Mary Louise Green, were held today at 2 p.m. at Wetumka Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Stout-Philips Funeral Home, Wewoka.

Roy Green
Funeral services for Seminole native and former resident Roy Thomas Green are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Elk City.
Services are under the direction of Whinery Funeral Home, Elk City.
At 9:30am on Wednesday Aug. 30, 2006 our Lord and Savior welcomed Roy Thomas Green into his heavenly home. He was 56 years old.
Roy was born in Seminole on July 11 1950 to Donald Green and Reta Wilson Green.
He attended Strother School in Seminole County, graduating in 1968.
Roy loved the outdoors, and could be made happy with the simplest of things. He was a member of the American Wild Horse Association, and for several years was actively participating in wild horse raises across the country.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Robert and Birdie Green and Gilbert and Pauline Wilson, and several aunts and uncles of which included the late Harry Coates Sr.
Among the many mourning his loss are his wife, Patricia Green of the home; his parents, father Donald Green and wife Lola of Seminole and mother Reta Green of Moore; sons, Kevin Green and wife Kathy of Wewoka and Kyle Green and wife Michelle and daughter Kathy White and husband Shane, all of Seminole; son, Mike Gala of Texas and daughter Patrice ‘Smittie’ Stevens and Roxanne ‘Pixie’ Stevens, both of Tulsa; four brothers, Forres Green and wife Beckie of Gage Okla., Edward and wife Kandi, of Jay Okla., Terrel of Texhoma Okla. and Keith and wife April of Moore; two sisters, Gaylia Green of Seminole and Doneta Hill and husband David of Shawnee.
Roy was blessed with 13 grandchildren four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
Roy touched many lives throughout the years and he will be deeply and continually loved and missed by all.
Lois Greenwood
Funeral services for Holdenville resident Lois Kathleen Greenwood are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Capital Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Crawford officiating.
Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Greenwood died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Holdenville General Hospital. She was born April 6, 1916 in Cookeville, Tenn. to Jess and Dora (Gilpatrick) Greenwood.
She moved to Holdenville at a young age and attended school at Holdenville. Greenwood worked for Seampruf as a seamstress for 15 years.
Greenwood has been a member of Capital Heights Missionary Baptist Church for over 75 years.
She enjoyed reading the Bible, sewing and spending time with her family.
Surviving are two brothers, Duroy Greenwood of Odessa, Texas and Oral Greenwood of Holdenville and two sisters, Vada Meadors of Holdenville and Betty Ree Horn of Seminole.
Maxine Redema Griffin
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday at Maple Grove Cemetery with James "Slim" Crabtree officiating.
Maxine Redema (Kagle) Griffin was born to Webster Howard Kagle and Delia Bertha (Kiggin) Kagle in Cleveland, Okla. Jan. 5, 1915. Maxine went to be with her Lord and Family on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006. She was 91 years old.
As a young girl she moved to Seminole with her parents and three sisters, Imogene, Helen and Bonnie during the 1920’s Oil Boom. She was married to Floyd David Griffin and they had one son Floyd Griffin.
She was a devoted wife, great mother, loving grandmother, and a friend to many. Some of her hobbies and interests were camping, fishing, quilting, working crossword and word puzzles, feeding and watching her birds.
Maxine was a waitress all of her life. She worked at the Main Waffle House, Harvest House Restaurant, Pats Café, Granny Ferns, and Ben’s Barbeque.
Her parents: husband Floyd Griffin, sisters Imogene Dawson, Helen Watts, and Bonnie Vincent preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Floyd and Mona Griffin of Seminole; stepson and daughter-in-law, Jim and Pat Griffin of Hayward, Calif.; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Hank Moreno of Greenville, Calif. and grandchildren, Steve and his wife Natalie Griffin of Edmond and Brian Griffin of Stillwater.
Pallbearers will be Steve Griffin, Brian Griffin, Jeff Griffin, John Griffin, Floyd Griffin and Mike McCoy.
Randy Grisham
Funeral services for James Randall "Randy" Grisham of Seminole are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel.
Rev. John Lively will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Grisham died Wednesday at his home in Seminole at the age of 41.
He was born Aug. 28, 1964, in Seminole to Houston A. and Rita (Burkhart) Grisham.
He attended school at New Lima and graduated from Seminole High School in 1982.
He graduated from East Central University, Ada, four years later with a degree in education.
He served as a probations and parole officer with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for many years, working out of the Ardmore office and later the Wewoka office.
He worked with the Department of Human Services and, most recently, taught reading to inmates at the Earl Davis Correctional Center in Holdenville.
At the time of his death, he was enrolled at Oklahoma Baptist University, Shawnee, where he hoped to pursue a career as a minister.
Grisham lived for a time in Wewoka and Holdenville, where he was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2001.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelsey Grisham, Wewoka; his mother, Rita Grisham, Seminole; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dennis and Carla Grisham, Stigler, Larry Grisham of Seminole, and Terry and Terrie Grisham, Tulsa; one sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Jerry Anson, Seminole; a stepson, Jarrod Wood, Wewoka; and his former wife and the mother of his daughter, Janie Vallandingham, Wewoka.
Pallbearers will include Russell Vicars, Jarrod Wood, Mark Battershell, Dave Anderson, Dan Anson and Jacob Wood.
Honorary casketbearers are Dr. Robert Irby Jr. and Mark Olney.
Wanda Jo Grissom
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Wanda Jo Grissom are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home with Larry Chesser officiating.
Interment is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Wanda Jo passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2006. She was born in Sulphur to Charlie Covington and Hallie Dillbeck Dyer.
Her husband of 48 years, Bill W. Grissom and her parents preceded her in death.
She attended Oakgrove north of Sulphur and she was an employee of Elks Lodge in Seminole. For the past five years, she has been a resident of Elmwood Manor in Wewoka.
Surviving is her sister, Charlee Roberts and husband, Chester of Collinsville, Texas and three sons, Billy Don Grissom and wife Patricia of Eufaula, Gary Lloyd Grissom and wife Carla of Wewoka and Charles "Chuck" Grissom and wife Janet of Wewoka.
In addition, she has seven grandchildren, Tammie Parker and husband Chris, Bill Grissom and wife Shannon, Amy Grissom, Ashlee Grissom, Peighton Grissom, Jackie Stanfield and husband Chris, Randy Grissom and wife Tammie and 13 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Harley, Amber, Katelyn, Courtney, Justin, T.J., Taylor, Christopher, Christine, Heather, Anthony and Jacob; one niece and two nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is dearly loved and will be missed by one and all.
Pallbearers for the services will be Robin Chesser, Mark Newman, Shannon Smith, Dewayne Streater, George French and Clark Whithead.
Gertrude Guess
Funeral Services for lifelong Wewoka resident Synthie Gertrude Guess are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
Bro. N.R. Smith will be officiating with interment at Oakwood Cemetery.

Synthie Gertrude Guess went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 28, 2006 at the age of 85. She was born June 7, 1921 to Erve and Lena (Jamison) Jones.
She married Sherman Ward Guess June 18, 1945. He preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 1962.
Gertrude lived in Wewoka all her life and was a loving homemaker and enjoyed reading the Bible, crocheting and bird watching.
Her parents Erve and Lena Jones; sister, Dora Conger; brothers, Estell Jones, Monty Jones, and Hobart Jones, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherlan Mosley and husband, Hulon of Wewoka and Celua Franks of Del City; three granddaughters, Latresa Jolly and husband, Ed of Wewoka, Carla Davis and husband, Robert of Choctaw and Robin Franks of Del City; one grandson, Tony Franks of Del City; nieces, Lena Sawyer of Wewoka, Lee Jean Pattison of Oregon; nephews, Thurman Conger of Seminole and Floyd Conger of Wewoka; great-grandchildren, Melissa and Brian Jolly of Wewoka and Anthony and Jessica Davis of Choctaw and many friends and relatives.
Gertrude will be missed dearly by her loved ones.
Pallbearers for the services will be Ed Jolly, Brian Jolly, Robert Davis, Anthony Davis, Judge Sawyer, and Larry Sawyer and Tony Franks.
Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Kanard, Jake Smith, Zane Smith and Ham Gaines.
