Funeral services for longtime Wewoka resident Conoway Liddell Jr. are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Wewoka.
Rev. Clive Cochran of Rock Hill Baptist Church is to officiate with interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Myers Mortuary of Wewoka.
Liddell, 73, died Friday, May 5, 2006 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City. He was born April 6, 1933 in Wetumka to Richard Liddell, Sr. and Evelyn Allen.
He has lived in Wewoka for most of his life and worked for the City of Oklahoma City for 33 years.
Liddell was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church and had served in the United States Army. He was a member of the National Guard.
His parents, one brother and his son, Ronald Eugene preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife, Doris Liddell of the home; sisters, Rosezelma Johnson of Wewoka, Luella Bernice Doyle of Tulsa and Carleta Collins of Del City; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Boyd Linduff
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Boyd Ross Linduff are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church.
Dick Knox and Tommy Clark will officiate with interment to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Garden in Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Boyd passed away Monday, March 27, 2006 in Shawnee at the age of 71. He was born Feb. 27, 1935 to Archie William and Beryle (Plumley) Linduff in Edmond.
He met and married Carole Jean (Posey) Linduff on Dec. 24, 1954 in Muskogee.
He attended Cameron Junior College on a basketball scholarship and continued playing basketball at Northeastern University until an injury, and received a bachelor’s degree in education.
Linduff went on to obtain his master’s degree and administrative certificate at the University of Oklahoma.
Boyd’s career took him to Inola and Milfay Schools, then to Seminole High School in 1966, where he taught and coached for 11 years.
He went on to be a superintendent at Strother Schools for two years, Maud for six years, Henryetta for four years and Mounds for three years.
After 38 years in education, he retired in 1991 and eight days later opened VIP Cellular in Shawnee. He was the owner and operator of VIP Cellular for 15 years.
In 2002 he was inducted in to the Tournament of Champions Hall of Fame and the Coaches Hall of Fame for over 300 wins throughout his coaching career.
He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce.
His parents and one sister, Patricia Hawkins, preceded him in death.
Surviving Boyd is his wife Carole Linduff of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Suzie and Rory O’Neal, Cheryl and Bruce Kunkleman and Laura and Lance King, all of Seminole.
He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Duane and Cinda Linduff of Miami, Okla. and Bill and Barbara Linduff of Tahlequah and seven grandchildren, Alyssa O’Neal, Colton O’Neal, Lane, Landry and Lilea King, Brynly and Jaden Kunkleman.
Casket bearers for the services will be Dr. John Randolph, Mike Rose, Terry Morris, Chris Clark, Danny Boydston and Don Trammell. Honorary bearers will be Dale Smart, Dick Irwin, Rob Pyron and Carl McCollum.
Kenneth Lingar
Graveside services for Kenneth Ray Lingar are scheduled for 12 p.m. Saturday at Little Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
Lingar, 64, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006. He was born April 23, 1942 in Arkansas to Raymond and Vera (Padget) Lingar.
He was a farmer where he picked fruit in Oregon and Washington. He was also a mechanic.
On March 19, 1957 he married Marsha Plummer in Washington.
His parents, one son, James Lingar and grandson, Nicholas Boyer preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife of the home; four sons, Danny Lingar of Mo., Jason Lingar and Michael Lingar, both of Seminole and Kenneth Lingar of Wis.; two daughters, Rebecca Myers of Seminole and Gina Greer of St. Joseph, Mo.; two brothers, Don Lingar of Arkansas and Billy Lingar of Oregon; three sisters, Edith Parker of Missouri, Elsie Diane of Washington and Ruby Toquero of Oregon; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Jacqueline Lipe
A memorial service for Shawnee resident Jacqueline Ann Lipe was held today at 10 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Art Scrutchins officiating.
Services were under the direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee.
Lipe, 59, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at her home after a long illness. She was born Feb. 21, 1947 in Fresno, Calif. to Ernest Davis and Wilma Thompson.
On March 19, 1976 she married Mickey G. Lipe. She was a wife and mother and enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing and water skiing.
Her father and granddaughter, Laura McGuffee Adcock preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband of the home; two daughters, Marcie Meeks of Seminole and Leslie Ainesworth of Shawnee; her mother, Wilma Thompson; sister, Carolyn Rutledge of Shawnee; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Charles Little
Funeral services for Seminole County native, Rev. Charles "Red" Little, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Wewoka Indian Methodist Church, Yeager.
Rev. James Smith, Rev. Jerry Byrd and Rev. Ben Little are to officiate. Interment is to follow at Wewoka Indian Methodist Church Cemetery.
Wake services are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Little, 77, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006 at his residence in Shawnee. He was born in Seminole County on Jan. 11, 1929 to Thomas Little Jr. and Losanna Harjo Little.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War, served as general Counsel Representative for the Seminole Nation and has retired from Methodist Ministry after 10 years of service to his Lord and Savior.
His parents; wife, Marilyn (Loman) Little (March 2006); three sisters, Amanda Little, Ester Martin and Ethel Cornelius; two brothers, Clarence Little and Daniel Little and son, Clarence Leon Little preceded him in death.
Surviving are five children, Clifford Little of Oklahoma City, Patricia Little of Ada, Cheryl Sewell of Seminole, Thomas Little of Denver, Colo. and Samuel Little of Shawnee; brother, Charles Mitchell of Seminole; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Marilyn Little
Funeral services for former Wewoka resident Marilyn (Loman) Little are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Wewoka Indian Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Lowe and Rev. Jerry Byrd to officiate.

Little, 74, died Thursday, March 16, 2006 in Tecumseh after a long illness. She was born March 14, 1932 in Snow, Okla. to Drex Loman and Helen (Culbert) Loman.
She attended Sequoyah School and later attended Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech in Shawnee. Little received her LPN license and worked for St. Anthony’s Hospital.
Little was a member of Caney Chapel Methodist Church and worked with the Children’s Ministry of Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conferences.
She married Charles Little in Shawnee, where they made there home for many years.
Her parents and two sisters, Corene and Rachel preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband Charles of Shawnee; two sons, Jonathan Whitefox of Oakland, Calif. and Sam Little of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Wynona Dry of Tahlequah, Phyllis Little of Anadarko, Sherri Jones of New York and Nia Pasqual of Sell, Ariz. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ruth Elena Little
There will be no funeral arrangements for Seminole resident Ruth Elena Little. She was cremated and it is planned for her ashes to be returned to Taft, Calif.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Little, 92 years old, died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006 at Seminole Estates Care Center. She was born July 16, 1913 in Boynton, Okla.
She married David G. Little on Feb. 10, 1951 in Bakersfield, Calif.
Little was a homemaker who has lived in Seminole for the past three years, having moved here from Taft, Calif., where she was a member of the First Baptist Church, Taft.
Her parents, her husband David G. Little (in 1974), one brother Robert E. Reese and one sister Ruby Brogdon.
Surviving is one nephew, Nelson Devers of Pryor and one niece, Shirley Scott of Seminole.
Gladys Longan
Graveside services for former Seminole resident Gladys Maxine Bray Longan are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Little Cemetery.

Longan, 91, of Hobbs, N.M., died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006 at Good Samaritan Village in Hobbs, N.M.
She was born the first of ten children to Charlie Allen Bray and Minnie Bertha Fourt Bray in rural Sylvan, Okla.
She lived in Hobs for 60 years having moved from Seminole. Longan was a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ and worked for American Steam Laundry, Hobbs Laundry and Linen Service, and in various restaurants around Hobbs.
Her parents; three brothers, Ervin, Jim and Pete Bray and two sisters, Marie Davis and Thelma Bray preceded her in death.
Surviving are sisters, Blanche Bethany of Duncan, Ruby Heald of Crane, Texas, Jesse parsons of Davis, Betty Van Matre of Hobbs, N.M. and Darlene Underwood of Halls, Texas and brother, Franklin Bray of Crane, Texas.
Pearl Loudermilk

Loudermilk, 72, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006 at Integris Baptist Medical Center. She was born Feb. 20, 1933 in Little to James and Ruth (Studdard) Smith.
She married Billy Loudermilk on July 10, 1953 in Seminole and was a homemaker.
Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.
Surviving is husband Billy Loudermilk of the home; two daughters, Brenda Barnett of Tecumseh and Joyce Hart of Seminole; one son, Bobby Jo Loudermilk of Seminole; two sisters, Helen Neeley of Lincoln, Calif. and Deloris Thornburg of El Reno; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
