Graveside services for Konawa resident Ona B. Reed, are scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Vamoosa Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.
She was born in Sulpher Oct. 26, 1913. Reed died Friday.
Reed married Henry Lewis Reed in 1931 and lived most of her life in Konawa. She moved to Atlanta in 1992 and has lived with her daughter for the last five years.
Preceding her in death are her parents, S. Nick and Docia V. Yeager, her husband, three brothers, Allen, Alfred, and Alvin Yeager.
Reed is survived by her sisters, Jewell Belcher, Thomaston, Ga., and Jessie Sluzarz of San Francisco, Calif., five children, Norma L. Mansur, Chattanooga, Tenn., Janette Harrington, Duluth, Gz., Victor L. Reed., Norcross, Ga., Forrest N. Reed, Joplin Mo., and Evelyn M. Reed, New Orleans, La., six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Bell Reeves
Funeral services for Maud resident Bell Reeves are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ in Maud with Frank Brewer and Tom Carter officiating.
Interment is to follow at Morse Cemetery, north of Okemah, under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home, Maud.
Reeves, 92, died Monday, May 1, 2006 at Tecumseh Sunset Estates. She was born Jan. 3, 1914 in Asher to Thomas Jefferson Davis and Mary Etta (Sanders) Davis.
In Okemah she married Troy Reeves in 1958. She moved to Maud in 1982 from Tulsa following the death of her husband.
She worked in the Methodist Manor dining room in Tulsa until her retirement in 1980 and was a member of the Church of Christ in Maud.
Her parents; husband; one son, William Howell in 1969; five brothers, Frank Davis, Jeff Davis, Venson Davis, Leamon Davis and George Davis preceded her in death.
Surviving is one sister, Idella "Jelly" Carter of Maud.
Gerald Reeves
Funeral services for Seminole resident, Gerald Roy Reeves, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Sneed officiating.
Interment is to follow at Cummings Cemetery, Maud under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home, Maud.
Reeves, 62, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006 in Seminole. He was born Dec. 22, 1943 in Maud to Roy Reeves and Quilla O’Dell Meredith (Pratt) Reeves.
He was a 1962 graduate of Maud High School and had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
On Oct. 8, 1970 he married Carol Catherine Spurgeon in Maud.
His parents, wife (Oct. 7, 1994), one grandson, Billy McConnell and one stepdaughter, Sharon Laws preceded him in death.
Surviving is his companion, Sheila Norbury of the home; daughter, Amber Wilson of Gerty, Okla.; stepson, Tyler Dean of St. Louis, Okla.; brother, Darrel Reeves of Seminole; two sisters, Shelba Crist of Athens, Texas and Jo Elliott of Sand Springs; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Stanley Kent Reichert
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Stanley KENT Reichert are scheduled for 2 p.m. at Hilltop Freewill Baptist Church in Wewoka with interment following at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Advantage Hunter Chapel, 2427 S. Harvey Blvd., Oklahoma City on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m.
Stanley KENT Reichert, 46, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006 in Oklahoma City. Stan was born in Lawton on Jan. 23, 1960 to Carl and Ernestine Woodruff Reichert.
He was a graduate of Altus High School and received his associate’s degree and journeyman’s license from Okmulgee Technology Center.
On July 18, 1980 he married Jessie Julian.
His father, Carl Reichert, and stepfather, Kenneth Vanderhoff preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bobby Boydstun of Wewoka; son, Matthew KENT Reichert of Oklahoma City; daughter Tea’re Reichert of the home; mother, Ernestine Vanderhoff of Weatherford; three brothers and sister-in-law, Steve and Karen Reichert, Wade and Linda Reichert and Kelly and Brenda Reichert; sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Keith Porter and four grandchildren, Levi KENT Reichert, Chase Reichert, Gracie Reichert and Madyson Reichert, all of Wewoka and numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hilltop Freewill Baptist Church, Wewoka.
Edith Reynolds
Interment will take place at the Little Cemetery for Little native Edith Kathryn Reynolds under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Arrangements are being handled by Kreidler Funeral Home of McAllen, Texas.
Reynolds died Saturday July 29 at the Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Reynolds was born Feb. 1, 1923 in Little to Otis and Evea Reynolds.
Her parents, and a brother, Kenneth Reynolds of Purcell, receded her in death.
She is survived by siblings, Mary Belle Bonner of Harlingen, Texas, Blaine Reynolds of Jacksonville, Fla. and Gloria David of Pharr, Texas.
Gus Rhoton
Services for longtime Wewoka resident Gus Richard Rhoton, 97, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Holdenville, Rev. Mike Booth officiating.
Burial will follow at Holdenville Cemetery, under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Rhoton died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006 in Norman after a brief illness.
Born in 1909 to Frank and Lucy Rhoton, the family moved by covered wagon from West Plains, Mo., settling in Yeager, where he graduated in 1931.
In 1935, he married Pearl Hawthorne, of Holdenville, and later worked in the oil fields during the 1930s and 1940s.
He served the United States Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II and also later worked at Tinker Air Force Base.
From 1952-1960, Rhoton, known as ‘Doc’, was a trainer for the University of Oklahoma football team under legendary head coach, Bud Wilkinson. During this time, OU won two national championships and set the current NCAA record 47-game win streak.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Hawthorne; a grandson, Mark Steven Corbett; his parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Rhoton of Norman; a daughter, Caldonia Rhoton Corbett, of Wewoka; a brother, Floyd ‘Tinker’ Rhoton, of Rogers, Ark.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Donald Selby Richardson
Graveside services for former Seminole librarian, Donald S. Richardson, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Dora Cemetery, Konawa with Rev. Pam Shirk officiating.
Richardson passed away at his home in Tulsa Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006. He was born in Shawnee July 3, 1930 to Charles Alden Richardson and Emma Lucretia (Brown) Richardson.
He graduated from Seminole High School as Valedictorian of his class in 1945, at the age of 15.
Richardson served in the United States Navy from June 1948 through February 1954.
He graduated from East Central State College in 1957 and from the University of Oklahoma with a master’s degree in Library Science in 1960.
Richardson worked at Purdue University and Panhandle State College where he taught as well as serving as head librarian.
He served as head librarian for the Seminole Municipal Library during the 70’s.
His parents; sisters, Cora Prusia, Rebecca Braun, Grace Hudson and Myra Josephine Richardson; and one brother, Charles Richardson, Jr. preceded him in death.
He is survived by one brother, Darrell J. Richardson of California; one brother-in-law, Otto Braun of Idaho; nieces, Rebecca Walker, Linda Coss, Janet Todd, Jean Romaine, Pam Bjore and Mary Brown; nephews, John Prusia, Michael Braun, Jim Braun, Bob Braun, father John Braun, Tom Braun and Joe Braun and many cousins and friends.
Jack Richardson
Graveside services for Wewoka native Jack Allen Richardson are schedule for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Richardson died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006 at the age of 71 years. He was born Feb. 1, 1935 in Wewoka to John H. and Elma Rose (Barnes) Richardson.
He attended Seminole Schools and later became an electrician and married Margaret Peggy Gaylord in Oklahoma City.
His parents and sister, Margie Brixley, preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife of the Tecumseh home; two sons, Jack Allen Richardson Jr. of Tecumseh and Kenneth Ray Richardson of Marlow; three daughters, Teresa Lynn Lee of Norman, Elaine Mullins of Tecumseh and Paula Loveless of Shawnee; two sisters, Dorothy Davis of Wewoka and Nancy Watson of Oklahoma City; four brothers, Harold Richardson of Shawnee, Donald Richardson and Roger Richardson, both of Oklahoma City and Billy Bob Richardson of Seminole; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Norissa Elvina Richardson
Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident, Norissa Elvina Richardson are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Maple Grove Cemetery with Ron Mitchell officiating.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Richardson, 90, died Monday, May 15, 2006 at her home. She was born Nov. 17, 1915 in Seminole to Lon Jay and Lillian Edna (Templeton) Villines.
She married Aubrey Evern Richardson on Feb. 4, 1949 in Okemah and she was a homemaker.
Her husband; parents; a daughter, Gail Owen; two brothers, L.J. Villines and Eugene Villines; three sisters, Melba C. Seymour, Dorothy June Martin and Janne Mae Clinton; son-in-law, Jack Owen, and daughter-in-law, Suzanne Marie Richardson preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Roxanna Mithcell and her husband Ron; two sons, Aubrey Alan Richardson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and C.J. Stoughton and wife Theresa of Fort Worth, Texas and one sister, Doris Notley of Oklahoma City.
In addition, ten grandchildren are also surviving, Cody Mitchell, Blake Richardson, Natasha Kraft, Ashley Thomas, Samantha and Jessica Stoughton, Ronnie Stoughton, Rhonda Shipley, Monetta Bean, Keith Owen and 12 great grandchildren.
Her best friend in life, June Russell, also survives her.

Milan Ricker
Wake services for former Seminole County resident Milan Todd Ricker are scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday with funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Snake Creek Indian Baptist Church.
Officiating the services will be Rev. George L. Mooney and Rev. T.J. Fixico. Interment will be in the Snake Creek Indian Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home of Okemah.
Ricker, 39, died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Integris Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born June 22, 1967 in Poplar, Mont. To Alan D. Miller and Mary Ricker.
He moved to Oklahoma in his early teens and attended Shawnee Middle School and graduated from Strother High School in 1985.
Ricker also attended and graduated from Okmulgee Tech as an auto paint and body repairman.
His father, Rev. Alan D. Miller, preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife Angela H. Ricker of the home; stepmother, Carol A. Miller of Shawnee; brothers, Alvin D. and Alex D. Miller, both of Shawnee; sisters, Angela D. Salceda of Seminole, Anna M. Miller of Shawnee and Andrea D. Mitchell of Earlsboro; mother, Mary Red Eagle of Poplar, Mont. and brothers, Tyrone and Tracy Ricker, both of Poplar, Mont.
Pallbearers for the services will be Shawn West, Blue Boy Bear, Dywane Star, Michael Red Wolf, Lance Waspkinoa, Josiah Miller, Steven Stone and Roger Brown.
Honorary bearers are Josey D. Miller, Alvin D. Miller, Antonio Salceda, Alex D. Miller, Tommy Mitchellm and Quincy Brown.
