Funeral services for Seminole resident Crystal LeAnn Davis are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Tallahassee Presbyterian Church.
Interment is to follow at Tallahassee Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Wake services are scheduled for 6 p.m. tonight at Tallahassee Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dorsey Nero and Rev. Robert Kernell officiating.
Davis, 25, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at Carl Albert Indian Hospital. She was born April 2, 1980 in Shawnee to Leroy and Dorothy (Larney) Davis.
She grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole High School and Seminole State College. She was currently employed at Wal-Mart of Seminole.
Davis attended Tallahassee Presbyterian Church.
Her grandfather, Amos Brown and grandmother, Grace, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her parents; daughter, Grace Marie Davis; brothers, Joel, Siah, Tim and Chris and sister, Erica.
Pallbearers for the services will be J.R. Hagis, Leo Moppin, Bubby Harjo, Isaac Harjo, Daniel Tanyan and Adam Tanyan.
Honorary bearers will be Chris Daniels, Domenik Davis, Brandon West, Donovan Davis, Cory Madden and Bo Lindsey.
Gary Davis
Memorial services for Holdenville resident Gary Douglas Davis are scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma with Jose Velazquez officiating.
Services will be under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Davis died on Saturday, March 31, 2007 in Holdenville at the age of 44. He was born on Aug. 31, 1962 in San Rafael, Calif., to Jessie Joe and Mavis Harlene (Bryant) Davis.
He lived most of his life in California and moved to Holdenville approximately 15 years ago. He had worked as a guard at Davis Correctional Facility in Holdenville.
Davis was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Holdenville and also served in the United States Air Force.
His parents precede him in death.
He is survived by three sons, Jason Davis of Oklahoma City, Joshua Davis of Noble and Jeremiah Davis of Holdenville; one stepdaughter, Jessica Davis of Holdenville; one brother, Curtis Davis of Dallas, Texas and one sister, Kim McGinnis of Seminole, Oklahoma.
Gloria Davis
Graveside services for Seminole native Gloria Jean "Sister" Tiger Davis are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Tiger Cemetery in Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra, Texas.
Davis, 73, of Electra, Texas died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born Feb. 22, 1933 in Seminole to Edmund Tiger and Lucy McGirt Tiger.
She had served in the United States Army as a cook and after her tour of duty; she raised her family and then received her LVN license. She was employed at the Bethania Hospital until her retirement in 1980.
Davis was a former resident of Iowa Park, Texas and moved to Electra in 1990 where she was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ. She enjoyed the outdoors and bird watching.
One grandson, James Edmund McGee, one brother, Jim Tiger and one sister, Eva Towery preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Karla Owen of Electra, Geraldine Hare of Freeland, Mich., Jolene Taylor of Lubbock, Texas and Jamie Kubicek of Electra; two sons, Amos Edmund Davis of Oklahoma City and Walter Lee Davis of Ft. Smith, Ark.; four brothers, Marland Tiger and Don Tiger, both of Seminole, Pembrook Tiger of California, and Randall Tiger of Shawnee; three sisters, Opal Cloud of Kansas, Nema Alderman of Wilburton, Okla., and Wanda Barber of Maude; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Margaret Davis
Funeral services for longtime Wewoka resident Margaret Pearl Davis are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Mullins officiating.
Burial is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Davis 84, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at Wewoka Nursing Center. She was born May 10, 1923 in Kansas City, Mo., to Tucker T. and Minnie (Arnold) Belle Davis.
She was employed by Texaco as a land lease person and retired in 1986, at which time she moved back to Wewoka. She attended the First Baptist Church of Wewoka.
Her parents and three brothers, Paul, Roy V. and Robert T. Davis preceded her in death.
Pallbearers will be Pat Comstock, J.M. Windle and Paul Loeffelholz.
Rosetta Davis
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Rosetta Eliza Davis are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Wewoka with Rev. E.G. Bert, St. Stephens Baptist Church, Wewoka, officiating.
Interment is to follow at Westwood Cemetery under the direction of Myers Mortuary, Wewoka.
Davis, 85, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 in Oklahoma City. She was born Oct. 22, 1921 in Lima, Okla., to Thomas Jefferson and Laura Cyrus Davis.
She lived in Seminole County all her life and was an avid worker in her church, until her health began to fail.
Davis worked as a housekeeper outside the home as well as taking care of her own family. Following the death of her husband, she moved to Oklahoma City with her son.
She was a member of Scipio Baptist Church, Lima, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. In addition, she was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society.
Her parents, husband, one son, four brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Freddy Davis of Oklahoma City; sister, Mattie Starnes of Wewoka; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Susan Davis
Services for longtime Wewoka resident Susan Denise Davis are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Rev. Louis Cox officiating.
Burial is to follow at Maple Grove cemetery, Wewoka under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Born March 26, 1963 at Wewoka Hospital to Jack D. Davis and Anna Lee Davis. She passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 in Wewoka.
Susan is survived by her mother, Anna Lee Davis of Wewoka; sister, Vicki Feuerborn; brother, Jackie Davis; special nieces and nephews, Amy Hadley, Dustin Hatfield, Mitch and Brandon Davis; and her extended family at Wewoka Nursing Center.
Even though Susan could not walk and was born with Cerebral Palsy, she lived a happy and productive life.
She graduated from Wewoka High School in 1982 and in 1977 she and her sister visited Hawaii to see her brother, who was stationed there with the U.S. Army.
One of her most happiest vacations was deep fishing at Galveston, Texas with her uncle, Ray Osborn. Susan had also visited Texas, Mexico, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Arkansas and Kansas.
In her earlier years, she had mastered driving a 4-wheeler, riding horses, camping, hand stitching purses, painting and crafts; and was a computer geek.
Susan loved the Lord and one of her favorite songs was "I Want to Stroll Over Heaven With You".
Even though is will be sad for us not to have Susan here on earth anymore, we can be assured that Susan is walking and strolling over Heaven with God.
Carolyn Davisson
A memorial service for longtime Seminole resident Carolyn Dean Davisson are scheduled for 11 am, Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Carolyn Dean Davisson, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007 at Seminole Municipal Hospital.
She had fought a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Cremation followed her demise.
Carolyn was born Jan. 14, 1940 to Anna (Fogle) and Everett Turley at Seminole’s Harber Hospital. She graduated from Seminole High School in 1958.
On Oct. 28, 1958 Carolyn married Bill Davisson, also of Seminole. The couple left immediately following their wedding for a stint in the United States Army.
They were stationed in several locations in New York and in Florida.
After Bill left the military, the couple made their home in Cocoa Beach and Merritt Island, Florida. While living there, Carolyn was employed by McDonald Douglas Aerospace.
She was a member of the NASA Apollo 1 through Apollo 18 launch team. She served on the team during Apollo 11’s first manned landing on the moon.
Carolyn was also on teams involved with NASA's first manned space laboratory. In Florida, Carolyn was active in Jaycee A’s, the women’s Auxiliary to the Jaycees.
In 1980, Bill and Carolyn moved to the Corpus Christi, Texas area. They lived in that location for about 22 years where Carolyn was employed by Exxon Oil Company as Administrative Assistant to the President of Exxon.
She was also made Pipeline Division Chief Clerk, a position that few women have held.
The Davissons returned to Seminole in 2004 after their retirement. Carolyn was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Seminole. She was also a member of Seminole Arts Council, and a former member of Self Culture Club.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Everett Turley, and by her sister, LeWanda Carmack.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Davisson; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill Davisson, Jr. and wife, Jan of Sugarland, Texas and Craig and his wife, Kristie of Tampa, Fla.
The Davisson’s have four grandchildren, Angela, Ben, Carolyn and Katie Davisson. A niece Cindy Uptigraph of Norman also survives Carolyn.
Carolyn had many friends who will miss her greatly.

Georgia Day
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Georgia (Harjo) Day are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hitchitee Church, with burial to follow at Harjo Underwood Family Cemetery.
Mike Harjo, Mildred Harjo and Ted Underwood are to officiate.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Day, 76, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at Colonial Estates Nursing Home in Shawnee. She was born on Sept. 20, 1931 in Seminole County to Peter and Mary (Spencer) Harjo.
She was a homemaker, member of the Sweet Potato Clan and her tribal name is Ca-te. Day is also a member of the Hitchitee United Methodist Church and the Cheyahv Ceremonial Ground.
Her parents; one son, Alex Pete Wolf; three sisters and two brothers, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters: Virginia Cunningham of Edmond and Mary Wolf Cully of Konawa; one son, William Joseph Bowlegs of Irving, Texas; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the services will be: Tecumseh Underwood, Victor Underwood, Ted Underwood, Percy Harjo, Bruce Harjo, Nathan Harjo and Willie Frank Haney.
Wake services will be held tonight from 6-8 p.m. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
