Graveside services for Wewoka infant Kaylie Ski Hicks are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday at Little Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Hicks, three and a half months old, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 in Shawnee. She and her twin sister were born July 19, 2007 to Lyla Lynn Null and Dale Victor Hicks.
Surviving are her parents of the Wewoka home; one brother, two-year-old Zack Nathaniel Bowens; two sisters, twin Kiylie Victoria Hicks and three-year-old Paris Marie Bowens; maternal grandfather, Roger Null of the home; maternal grandmother, Lowana Null of Wewoka; and paternal grandparents, Billie and Paul Hicks of Amarillo, Texas.
Naomi Hicks
Funeral services for Shawnee resident Naomi Elaine Hicks are scheduled at 7 p.m. tonight at the First Indian Baptist Church, Shawnee with Rev. Houston Tiger officiating.
Burial is to follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee.
Hicks, 57, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2007. She was born July 16, 1950 in Claremore to Henry and Bernice (Simmers) Hicks.
She worked for Youth and Family Services for 10 years as a child caseworker. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Tecumseh.
Her parents; two brothers, Larry Hicks of Shawnee and Charlie "Speedy" Hicks of Okmulgee; and one sister, Ailene Harjo, preceded her in death.
Survivors include five children and their spouses: Brian Hicks of Oklahoma City, Tommy and Tammy Hawkins of Shawnee, Traci Hawkins of Shawnee, Stacy (Hawkins) and Chris Summey of Adana, Turkey, and Troy Hawkins and Alicia Carlson of Shawnee; one stepson, Anthony Hawkins of Wewoka; 11 grandchildren: Amber, Kyla, Rai-lynn, Nathaniel, Justina, Sidney, Madison, Avery, Ayden, Christian "Guage", and Brandon; godchildren, Keith and Tina; one brother, Henry Hicks III; three sisters, Georgia Starr of Shawnee, Gail and Penny Hicks of Oklahoma City; and many more relatives and friends.

James Hill
Funeral services for former Seminole County resident James Elcotio Hill were held Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
Interment followed at Lima Cemetery under the direction of Temple and Sons Funeral Directors, Inc., Oklahoma City.
Hill, 75 of Oklahoma City, died Friday, April 6, 2007. He was born on Sept. 14, 1931 in Seminole County to Iva Rowland-Hill and Blanton Hill Sr.
At the age of 14 he became a member of Lima Baptist Church, and later became a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church of Seminole.
He attended Lima Elementary and Douglass High School in Wewoka. After high school he worked at the brick plant in Wewoka and later for Walker Raupe Garage as a self-taught mechanic.
In 1953 he joined the Unite States Army and in 1963 he moved to Okalahoma City where he worked for Swicks, and later at Ward Brothers Salvage. He continued to work as a mechanic until his health failed.
Hill married Rosezelma Jenkins in 1958 and to this union six children were born.
He later married Doris Russell in 1969 and she preceded him in death. In 1984 he then married Christine Morrison.
His parents, one brother, Modesta Hill, one sister, Dolores Andrews and six grandchildren also preceded him in death.
Surviving is one sister, Elfreeda Carter of Seminole; one brother, Blanton H. Hill jr. of Seminole; two daughters, Jessie Mae Johnson and Requal Hill, both of Oklahoma City; four sons, Everett Hill, Malcolm Hill Sr., Gene Hill and James Hill Jr, all of Oklahoma City; three stepchildren, Exzanty Moore of Oklahoma City, Willetta Hendricks and Keith Moore, both of Georgia; 51 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the services were: Everett Hill, Malcolm Hill, Gene Hill, James Hill, Nicholas Hill, Roger Carter, Irvin Carter and Johnny R. Bruner.
Honorary bearers were: Natasha Hill, Nakisha Hill, Shenika Hill, Renita Mitchell, Iva Hill, Roselyn Hill, LaSherra Johnson and Lisa Thomas-Hill.
Mamie Hill
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Mamie Hill are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Carl Whitfield will officiate the service.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Mamie Bernice (Main) Hill, 87 year-old long time Seminole resident passed from this life Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born Dec. 17, 1919 south of Lincoln County in Oklahoma to parents Cleve Main and Lou (Knight) Main.
Mamie was raised at Strother and attended Strother School, later her family moved to Cromwell where her parents were in the grocery business. Mamie was the youngest of five children.
Mamie married Quinton R. Simon and they had two sons, Donald and Arnold Simon. She later married Raymond G. Hill and they had two daughters, Brenda Hill and Glenda Hill.
Before Mamie and her husband Raymond retired they had owned and operated many businesses in Seminole. Together they owned and operated the Bus Station, two grocery stores; Western Union and Mistletoe Express businesses.
Mamie was always known for her humor, she loved to tell jokes to anyone who knew her loved her quick wit. She had also been a longtime member of Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole.
Mamie leaves to cherish her memory one son, Donald and his wife Dottie Simon of Golden Valley, Ariz.; two daughters, Brenda Hill of Seminole and Glenda and her husband Rod Britt of Shawnee.
Six grandchildren also survive: Don Simon, Renita Simon Walker, Mark Simon, all of Las Vegas, Nev., Taylor Britt and Scotlyn Britt, both of Shawnee.
Other survivors include four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Mamie is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Cleve Main and Lou Main; two sisters, Pearl Grigg and Mary Strand and by one grandson.
Casket bearers will be: Rick McCaslin, Rod Britt, Lonnie Bardwell, Jerry Hill, Terry Britt and Tommy May.
Donna Hobbs
Funeral services for Konawa resident Donna Jean (Austin) Hobbs are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa with Bro. Wade Scott officiating.
Interment is to follow at Vista Cemetery, west of Konawa, under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Hobbs, 55, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1951 in Midwest City to Mark Austin and Norma Jean (Etchieson).
She was raised in Asher by her grandparents and has been a Konawa resident since 1996.
Hobbs worked as a private home health care nurse and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Asher and later attended Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Konawa.
Her parents and one grandson preceded her in death.
Surviving are four daughter, Sherie Phillips of Tecumseh, Tina Hobbs of Shawnee, Angela Hobbs of Konawa and Amanda Peterson of Konawa; one brother, David Bertram of Oklahoma City; one sister, Debra Pataki of Konawa; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Serving as casket bearers will be David Phipps, Dustin Peterson, Thomas Hughes, Wade Snodgrass, Anthony Rodriguez and Taylor Snodgrass.
Honorary bearers will be Lance Snodgrass, Garrett Peterson, Dustin Hobbs and Kenny Snodgrass.
Cora Hodges
Memorial services for Seminole resident Cora Nadine (White) Hodges are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday at Amazing Grace Pentecostal Holiness Church in Seminole. Pastor Pat Coffey will officiate the service, assisted by Bro. Glen Peck.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Cora Nadine (White) Hodges, 71-years-old, passed from this life Monday, June 4, 2007 at Seminole Medical Center. She was born Feb. 12, 1936 in Daingerfield, Texas to parents James Dennis White and Martha Mae (Moore) White.
Cora married Richard Allan Hodges on July 21, 1951 in Cartwright, Okla. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1988.
Mrs. Hodges had worked as a seamstress for Vanity Fair until her retirement in 1980. She moved to Seminole 18 years ago from Denison, Texas.
She was a member of the Amazing Grace Pentecostal Holiness Church in Seminole.
Cora leaves to cherish her memory two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Barbara Hodges of Shreveport, La., and Stephen and Cherie Hodges of Bowling Green, Ky.; one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Ormal Wilkerson of Seminole; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Lorraine White of Wills Point, Texas, Ruth Lovallee of Garland, Texas and Ann and Jim Wakefield of Sachse, Texas.
Other survivors include five grandchildren and their spouses, Leslie and David Gregg of Saint Louis, Okla., Billy and Ramona Barneck of Seminole, Charlotte Hodges of Bowling Green, Ky., Cora and Carl Fisk of Newalla and Betty Hodges of Shreveport, La.: 12 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters precede Cora in death.
Dollie Holt
Graveside services for Seminole resident Dollie Mae (Cox) Holt are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Little Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Holt, 69, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at Seminole medical center. She was born Nov. 10, 1937 in Cleveland County, near Noble, to Jessie Steven "Steve" Cox and Mable (McDonald) Cox.
On July 29, 1954 she married James Hendrix Holt in Lamont, Calif.
She retired in 1998 as a quality assurance supervisor at C&H Gauge Company in Tehachapi, Calif.
Holt was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith and had moved back to Oklahoma one and a half years ago from Tehachapi.
Her parents; one son, Steven Nathaniel Holt (2005); five brothers, Edward, Wesley "Brownie", Eugene "Lou", Benny and Larry Cox; and one sister, Mary Griggs, preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, James Holt of the home; two daughters, Dianna Lynn Holt of Seminole and Judy Ann Holt of California; one son, Clinton Edward Holt of California; one brother, Bobby Lee Cox of Bakersfield, Calif.; three sisters, Margie Patton, Alta Maynord and Viola Cox, all of Bakersfield, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Tommie Hord
Funeral services for Konawa resident Tommie Juanita (Thomas) Anderson Hord will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Tommie Juanita (Thomas) Anderson Hord passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at her residence in Konawa after a short but well fought battle with cancer.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1942 in Konawa to Jack and Juanita (Sexton) Thomas. She attended Konawa High School and had lived all her life in the Konawa, Maud and St. Louis area.
Tommie was a Home Health Aid at Central Oklahoma Family Medical Clinic in Konawa for 10 years. She attended Grace Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ric Hord of the home; her mother, Juanita Thomas of Konawa; four daughters, Debra Lehman and her husband David of Tecumseh, Dianna Mullins and her husband Roland of Sasakwa, Sharlet Sandlin of Oklahoma City and Barbara Goodman of Altus; two brothers, Bob Thomas of Konawa and Randy Thomas and his wife Pat of Darby, Mont.; two sisters, Connie Prewitt and her husband Roy of Konawa and Tinya Thomas and her husband Mike Murray of Konawa; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Thomas; husband Raymond Anderson; daughter, Raylena Carol Anderson; brother, Dennis Thomas and a great granddaughter, Jacey East.
Serving as honorary bearers will be her nephews.
