Funeral services for Seminole resident Naomi "Christine" (Greenfield) Posey are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
Pastor Gary Pollard will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Posey, 69, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at Seminole Regional Hospital. She was born July 12, 1937 in Kingfisher to Audrey May (Shay) Greenfield and Ray Leroy Greenfield.
She graduated from Cashion Southwest Bible College and later married Donald Leroy "Don" Posey on June 18, 1955 in Kingfisher.
Posey worked as a bank teller and bookkeeper for Security State Bank in Wewoka for over 18 years.
The couple lived in Branson, Mo., for 13 years moving back to the Seminole area almost three years ago.
Surviving is her husband, Donald Leroy "Don" Posey of the home; one son, Donald Ray "Don" Posey of Konawa; one daughter, Nancy Horn of Seminole; one brother, Charles Greenfield of Yukon; one sister Esther Sproul of Edmond and three grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be; Chet Horn, Don Kimery, Jeff Misenheimer, Mike Grant, Robert Ingram and Herb Williams.
Honorary casket bearers will be; Gurdon Johnson, Jerry Green, Lee Estep and Jerry McGehee.
Mildred Post
Funeral services for Mildred Post are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Tommy Clark and Carl Whitfield officiating.
Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole, with services under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Longtime Seminole resident Mildred Post departed this life Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007 at Seminole Estates Nursing Center at the age of 86.
Mildred was born on May 10, 1921 in Hugo, Okla., to W.A. "Nick" Nichols and Anna Smith Nichols.
On April 9, 1941 in Shawnee she became the wife of James Ray Post II. Three sons were born of this union.
Mildred graduated from Mountain View High School and attended East Central University. She was a member of a bowling league for many years and was an avid OU fan.
She retired from Seminole County after many years of service in the county attorney, treasurer and court clerk offices.
She had been a member of the Trinity Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by sons, James Ray Post III and his wife Phyllis of Seminole, David Lee Post and his wife Sharon of Seminole, and William "Nick" Nichols Post of Edmond; grandchildren, Stacy Prewitt, James Ray Post, IV, John Colombo, Jerry Colombo, Jerry Colombo, and Karen Colombo; sister, Kate Warren of Camarillo, Calif.; ten great-grandchildren; and her beloved friend and pet, Bo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Juanita Cline.
Pallbearers will be James Post IV, Jerry Colombo, Josh Colombo, Jonathan Colombo, Ed Staley and Steven Staley.
Gwendolyn Postoak
Memorial services for former Wewoka resident Gwen Postoak will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Postoak, of Oklahoma City.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Postoak died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in Oklahoma City. She was born Dec. 1, 1966 in Oklahoma City to Amos Thompson Postoak and Bertha Wanoka Ned.
Two children; brother, Morgan Lee Postoak, grandparents Eli and Lizzie Postoak, Semion Wilson, and Maxine Jacobs preceded her in death.
Surviving is her husband, John Solis of Oklahoma City; children, Sgt. Michael Shane Postoak, serving in Iraq, Crystal Lynn Postoak, and Victor Manuel Beltran Jr., both of Oklahoma City, Elisa Lynn Postoak and Eric Morgan Postoak, both of Wewoka, Andrea Thompson Beltran, Samuel Augustine Postoak and Gabriella LaHoma Solis, all of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Christina Elaine Villanveva, Aron Hardy, Jr., Cameron Wilson Hardy all of Oklahoma City, Charlie Miller of Wewoka, Lewis Postoak, Jeffery Postoak, Bridgette Postoak, Ashley Postoak and Bonnie Rutherford, all of Tulsa.
Roy C. Potter
Funeral services for Wewoka resident Roy C. Potter were scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Stinnett officiating.
Interment was to follow at Atwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Potter died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at the Wewoka Nursing center at the age of 80. He was born Dec. 5, 1926 in Seminole to Roy C. Potter Sr. and Dessie (Mann) Potter.
He graduated from Wewoka High School in 1944 and was in the United States Navy during World War II. Potter was a radio operator after being discharged from the Navy and he worked for City Services Oil Company as a Lab Technician for many years.
His parents; daughter, Jacklyn A. Hicks and two sisters, Juanita Haley and Billie O. Prince preceded him in death.
Surviving him are two sons, Glynnon M. Potter of Decatur, Texas and Tony R. Potter of Wewoka; four granddaughters and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers for the services will be Tim Brady, David Davidson, William Harrison, Charlie Cotterman, Clay Dyton Coffman and James Cofer.
Honorary bearers will be Byrl Barnhart, Ernest Moore, J.C. Kanard, James A. Brooks, Marvin Osborne and Ray Bevelhymer.
Leah Ann Presley
Funeral services for Seminole native Leah Ann Larney Presley are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the home of Balerine Lasley, 216 W. 35th, Shawnee.
Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee.
Presley, 49 of Buffalo, Mo. died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007 at her home. She was born Dec. 3, 1957 in Seminole to Alex Larney Sr. and Balerine (Lasley).
She was a home health care provider and member of the Seminole Tribe. Presley was baptized in the Methodist Hitchitee Church of Seminole.
Her father and one brother, Alex Larney Jr. preceded her in death.
Surviving is her mother, Balerine Lasley of Shawnee; two daughters, Ladina Larney of Shawnee and Christi Stone of Maud; four sons, Michael, Joseph and Matthew Stone, all of Springfield, Mo. and Andrew Stone of Aurora, Mo.; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Jo Harjo of Shawnee, Teresa Larney of Konawa and Deborah Toney of Shawnee; one brother, Tim Larney of Franklin, Ill. and stepmother, Mary Larney of Konawa.
Mildred Prewitt
Graveside services for Mildred Catherine Prewitt are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore.
Services are under the direction of Ted Dickey Funeral Home, Plano, Texas.
Mildred Catherine Prewitt was born Mildred Catherine Wheeler on Oct. 8, 1917 in Ardmore to Arva Cindle Wheeler and Arlie Wheeler.
She passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 and was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Archibald Holley, and by her second husband, William Ernest Prewitt.
Survivors are her son, Ronald L. Holley and wife, Monelle, of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Holley of Plano, Texas, Cathy Holley Lamont and husband Ian of Globe, Ariz., and their children Holley and Ian, Michelle Holley Murph and husband Alan of New Braunfels, Texas, and their children Rachel, Derek, Moraih, and Benjamin.

Wewoka resident Opal "June" Price passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the age 77.
She was born on Nov. 2, 1929 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Charles H. and Grace Gertrude (LaRue) Wentz.
June married Jack L. Price on March 21, 1944 in Van Buren, Ark. June was a homemaker and attended the Assembly of God Church in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.
Her husband Jack L. Price of the home survives her, daughter, Jackie K Sheppard, son, Joseph H. Price, Oklahoma, and foster daughter, Shirley Grindstaff of Noble.
Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive her.
Her parents precede her in death.
Earl Pryor
Funeral services for Seminole resident Earl Preston Pryor are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
His brothers-in-law, Roy Plant and Millard Stevens, will officiate the services.
Interment is to follow services at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
Pryor, 83, died Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Seminole Medical Center. He was born Oct. 3, 1923 on Okmulgee to Earl O. Pryor and Annabell (Anthony) Pryor.
He attended Bowlegs Schools before enlisting in the United States Navy.
On April 29, 1943 he married Dorothy Annalee Knight in Wewoka.
Pryor was a truck driver for "American Pipe Company" out of Union City, Calif. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
His parents and wife (Jan. 25, 1992), three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Surviving are one brother, Frank Pryor of Shawnee; two sisters, Irma Jean Stevens of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Barbara Ann Plant of Waterford, Calif. and special friend, Hazel Stevens of Seminole.
Lee Puntka
Funeral services for longtime Sasakwa resident and deacon at Spring Baptist Church Lee Rogers Puntka are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Moppin officiating, and assisted by Billy Joe Harjo and Richard Pickup.
Wake services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Springs Baptist Church. The body will be taken to the Church at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mr. Puntka passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Carl Albert Hospital in Ada at the age of 73 years. He was born July 18, 1933 in Sasakwa to Floyd Harjo and Linda McGirt.
He graduated from Sasakwa Schools and attended Haskell Indian Institute.
He was a member and deacon of Springs Baptist Church, President of Rural Water Board in Sasakwa, former president of Sasakwa Community Center. He was a carpenter for many years for Seminole Nation.
Lee’s heart belonged to his Lord. His faithfulness and service as he took his spiritual walk made many friends along his path.
Lee dedicated his services to the Lord in every aspect of his life as he surrendered. To his Lord’s will as a deacon.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Lincoln Roger Puntka; brother, Franklin Coody and two sisters, Firmina Killpatrick, and Cora Alsip.
Survivors also include children, Phyllis Paluck, Shawnee, Nancy Warden, Shawnee, Josh Puntka, Sasakwa, Janice Norcott, Springfiled., Mass., Carmelita Puntka, Sasakwa, Samatha Elliott, Shawnee and Rosetta Mosier, Idabel, Okla.; brothers and sisters, Yvett Harjo, Yvonne Harjo, and Leonard Harjo; five grandsons; 13 granddaughters, four great-grandchildren; aunt, Anthonette Jones and uncle, John Crayton Harjo.
