FRANCIS — Memorial services for Freddie Dan Pryor, 66, Francis, will be Friday from 1-4 p.m at the family home at 523 E. 10th in Francis. Mr. Pryor died Sunday, April 24, 2005, in Garvin County, Oklahoma. He was born Jan. 24, 1939, in Stonewall to Herthel and Valley Crow Pryor.
He attended school at Stonewall and Horace Mann. Mr. Pryor was employed at Tornado Alley Heat and Air at the Ada Airport until his retirement. He was formerly employed with Jackson Plumbing and as a mechanic for Don Hayes Cadillac. Mr. Pryor was of the Holiness faith and he served in the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Mae Nichols, Francis; three sons, Danny Lee Pryor, Shawnee, Walter William Pryor, Fla., and Charles Ray Pryor, Denton, Texas; a daughter, Deborah Kay Gates, Florida; two stepsons, Terry Dale Nichols, Ada, and Dennis Newburn, Alvarado, Texas; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a stepgranddaughter, Nico Lee Nichols, Ada.

ADA — Graveside services for Helen Elizabeth McMillan, 81, Ada, are 10 a.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. George Carson and Carl Hayes officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. McMillan died Monday, April 25, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1923, in Ada to Roy and May Flowers Boyd.
She attended Ada schools. She lived in Oklahoma City until 1973 when she moved back to Ada.
She married Kenneth G. McMillan Aug. 8, 1964. He died May 11, 1998, in Ada. Mrs. McMillan attended Abundant Life Tabernacle. She was formerly a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include great nephews, Sean Thompson and wife Cynthia, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Kevin Bowles and wife Jeanne Caudle Bowles, Ada; two great-great nephews, David Caudle Bowles, Walker Jackson Bowles; one great-great niece, Kendel Marie Bowles; a cousin, Merle R. Hodgden, Ada.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Sheila Boyd Bowles Thompson, and a great-nephew, Chris Bowles.
Bearers will be Sean Thompson, Kevin Bowles, Glen Hodgden, J. D. McMillan, David McMillan, and Doyle Reed.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memorial services for Hon Floyd Young, 75, Memphis, are 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Holy Communion Episcopal Church, the Rev. Tom Mumford officiating. Burial will be later at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Young died April 17, 2005, at a Memphis hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1930, at Roff, Okla., to Elmer Leonard Young and Eula Hennigan Young. He attended elementary school in Roff and graduated from Roff High School in 1947.
Mr. Young graduated from East Central University at Ada, Okla., in 1950. He taught elementary school in New Mexico for a year, then in Roff for two years. He married Maryscott Smith of Ardmore, Okla., April 4, 1953, at First Methodist Church in Ada. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in June 1953 and served as a technical sergeant at Fort Sill, Okla., and overseas in Korea and Japan.
He attended Emory Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Ga., received his deacon ordination and served a three church charge in the Atlanta area, before working at Hartford Insurance Co. in Tallahassee, Fla., as an insurance adjuster. Also, he worked in the insurance division of TG&Y. Corp. in Oklahoma City, as vice president of Insurance, Budget Rental Car Corp., Chicago, and Southwest Insurance Co., Dallas. He began work as a training consultant for the Fred S. James Co. in 1987.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer L. and Eula Hennigan Young; three brothers and three sisters; Leonard T. Young, Neva B. Young Wood, Carthel L. Young (infant), Paul G. Young, Vera Young Norwood and Betty J. Young Thomas.
Survivors include Floyd’s former wife, Maryscott Smith Young, Midwest City, Okla.; two sons, retired Lt. Cmdr. Robert Scott Young and his wife Karen and their two sons, Jacob and Eric, all of Pace, Fla., and Eric Larson Young, North Hollywood, Calif.; a daughter, Sarah Kathleen Young Shimelonis and her husband Eric, New York City, N.Y.; and numerous nephews and nieces; Dr. James R. Wood, McKinney, Texas; retired Col. Billy R. Wood, Mena, Ark., retired Lt. Col. Paul D. Young, Roff, Okla., Shirley Young Baber, Norman, Okla., Dr. Jerry Young, Carol Young Ham, Robbie Young Tollison, Midland, Texas, Greg Thomas, Kelly Thomas and Mary Beth Thomas Corey, all of Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Mayes died Saturday, April 16, 2005, at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1922, near Salina, Oklahoma.
She married Harmon A. Mayes on May 20, 1988 at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Mayes was a restaurant owner and cook until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Harmon A. She died Sunday, April 17, 2005, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1918, at Happyland, Okla., to Amon and Adeline Nelson Walker. She attended school at Happyland.
Ms. Walker was a housekeeper at Carl Albert Indian Health Facility and McCall’s Chapel School until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of High Hill Baptist Church. Ms. Walker was baptized Dec. 25, 1938, at Spring Baptist Church in Sasakwa.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Walker, Ada, Danny Walker, Ada and Wilburn Walker, Ada; two daughters, Betty Grove, Oroville, Calif., and Linda Logan, Wayne; one sister, Dorothy Walker, Ada; eight grandchildren, Charles Walker, Konawa, Tracy Harjo, Konawa, Brenda Figueroa, Riverbank, Calif., Cynthia Mercer, Ada, Mikeal Walker, Asher, Jesse Walker, Colbert, Chris Pennokee, Wayne, and Tara Logan, Ada; 20 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
