Early Morn

As I sit upon my porch
In the cool morning breeze,
I watch the leaves waving to me from the dew kissed trees.
Small animals scurry to and fro, in a hurry, with no place to go.
The cattle grazing in the meadow on a lazy summer morn, occasionally glancing over the fence at the neighbor's field of corn.
As the sun rises high in the sky, I go inside and think with a sigh, Another beautiful morning gone by.
