Funeral services for Barbara Nell (Cotton) Knight are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment is to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Barbara Nell Knight, 70 year-old longtime Seminole resident, passed from this life Monday, Dec. 31, 2007 at Seminole Integris Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1937 in Seminole to parents, Loren Cotton and Wilda (Odgen) Cotton.
She graduated from Seminole High School and married Jack Edward Knight on Oct. 15, 1960 in Enid. They had lived in Seminole most of the time, with the exception of living in Mineral Wells, Texas for 17 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Barbara loved to play Bingo and was always willing to take care of family members who were ill.
Survivors include one son, Billy Joe Knight of Seminole; three daughters: Jackie Lynn Knight of Seminole, Edie Lorena Mayeux of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Pamela and her husband, Bryan, Sieben of Sour Lake, Texas; and three sisters: Ella Floyd of Edmond, Elizabeth Sargent of Saginaw, Mich., and Wanda Cotton of Shawnee.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Tara Foutz, Joe Foutz, Loren Mayeux, Shea Mayeux, Christian Adams, Keith Sieben, Daren Sieben; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and dear friends.
Her parents; husband (April 20, 1992); and four brothers: Sonny Cotton, Gary Cotton, Joe Cotton, and Robert Cotton, preceded Barbara in death.
Casket bearers will be: Jacob Brauning, Jedidiah Brauning, Keith Sieben, Daren Sieben, Joe Foutz, and Norm Jackson. Honorary bearers will be: Loren Mayeux, Shea Mayeux, and Christian Adams.
Naida Knowles
A private family service will be held at a later date for former Seminole County resident Naida Knowles.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Pauls Valley.
Knowles, 76, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in Pauls Valley. She was born Jan. 3, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas to Jimmy and Blonnie (Nunley) Carroll.
She grew up in Konawa and Seminole and then moved to California until 2000, when she returned to Oklahoma and settled in Wynnewood.
In April 1977 she married Dennis Knowles in Reno, Nev. She retired from Pacific Bell Telephone Company after 27 years of service.
Surviving is her husband of the home; one son, Clifford Eldridge of Tuttle, Okla.; one daughter, Kaye Grabin of Seminole; one stepdaughter, Cathy Graham of Marshall, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Derrel Kreeger
Derrel Wayne Kreeger, 56 year-old Seminole resident passed from this life Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Baptist Medical Center, in Oklahoma City.
He was born Oct. 25, 1952 in Seymour, Texas to parents Billie Audine (Goodwin) Kreeger and Billy Wayne "Bill" Kreeger.
Derrel attended Seminole Public Schools and Faith Seven School in Shawnee. He was a member of Seminole First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Billie and Bill Kreeger, of Seminole; one brother and sister-in-law, Danny Allen and his wife Jane Kreeger, of Seminole; one sister and brother-in-law, Mitzi and her husband Gene Houck, of Seminole; four nephews and their spouses, Kyle and Jennifer Kreeger, Colt and Heather Kreeger, Kade Houck and Chad Houck, all of Seminole; one great nephew, Jackson Kreeger, of Seminole, and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at Seminole First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David McDougal officiating and Colt Kreeger assisting. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole.
Casket Bearers will be; Kyle Kreeger, Colt Kreeger, Kade Houck, Chad Houck, Curtis Lemmings and Blake Johnson.
Honorary Bearers will be; Chuck Stennett, Rick Ickert, Roger Ricketts, Greg Moore, Marty McCain and Jeff Standard.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Geneva Larney
Geneva Maxine (Brown) Larney, 85 year-old Shawnee resident died Friday, Dec. 5, at her home in Shawnee. She was born April 2, 1923 in Skiatook, to parents John Brown and Minnie (Littlejim) Brown.
She married Lee Larney on June 1, 1942, in Oklahoma City; he preceded her on death on Nov. 10, 2000.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hitchitee United Methodist Church. Larney lived most of her life in the Seminole and Shawnee area.
Survivors include five sons, Nathaniel Larney, of Oklahoma City, Walter Larney, of Wewoka, Alan Larney, Rocky Larney and Darrel Larney, all of Shawnee; seven daughters, Nevalee Deere, Billie Jean Grass, Flora Larney, and Jena Masquas, all of Shawnee, Harriette Starr, of Oklahoma City, Lonita Stewart, of Little Axe, and Nema Faye Larney, of Oklahoma; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband, two daughters and one grandson.
A wake service was scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. at Hitchitee United Methodist Church. Funeral Services were scheduled for 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 8, at Hitchitee United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Hitchitee Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, in Seminole.
LaDina Larney
Funeral services for former Konawa resident LaDina Michelle Tiger Larney are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bird Creek Baptist Church in Sasakwa.
Burial is to follow at Cully Harjo Cemetery in Vamoosa. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Larney, 31, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at her residence in Shawnee. She was born Feb. 24, 2008 in Hawaiian Gardens, Calif., to Leah Ann Larney.
She attended Konawa Public Schools and graduated from there in 1994. Larney was a homemaker and a member of Bird Creek Baptist Church in Sasakwa.
Her mother and grandfather, Alex Larney, Sr. preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Jack Tiger, Jr., of Konawa; four brothers: Joseph, Andrew, Michael and Matthew Stone, all of Springfield, Mo.; and one sister, Christy Stone of Seminole.
Serving as casket bearers will be: Wallace Culley, Larry Harjo, Jr., Brian Harjo, Skyland Tanyan, Sterling Tanyan, and Jacob Tanyan.
Honorary bearers will be: Kevin Harjo, Anthony Tanyan, Calvin Toney and Walter Factor.

Funeral services for Seminole County resident Ryder Larney are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Houston Tiger, Rev. Redmond Wolf, and Rev. Bill Hobia are set to officiate.
Interment will follow at Larney Cemetery.
A wake service is set for 6 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.
Larney died July 16, 2008, at age 92, in Oklahoma City.
He was born Aug. 25, 1915, in Seminole County to Willie Yamie Larney and Hettie Harjo.
He was a self-employed farmer who also trained and rode bulls.
Larney also spent time going to auctions.
He was a member of Ceyvha Band of the Seminole Nation and leader at the Stomp dances. He also played stick ball games.
He married Serena Mae Spencer in 1945, and she preceded him in death in December 1978.
Preceding him in death are his parents; sons, Gary Larney and Rudolph Larney; daughter Sue Ann Larney; brothers and sisters, Roy Larney, Herman Larney, Jack Larney, and Susan Tanyan.
Larney’s survivors include his children: Larry Joe Larney of Dallas, Texas, June Lee of Oklahoma City, Hattie Daniels of Tulsa, Irby Larney of Seminole, Teresa Ann Walker of Wewoka, William Roy Larney of Tulsa, Russell Larney of Lamar, Lou Wanda Weaver of Oklahoma City, Randolph Larney of Seminole, Samaria M. Rich of Seminole, Mulleana Mae Larney of Oklahoma City, Rita Mae Larney of Seminole; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pall bearers will be William Larney Jr., David Walker, Keith Larney, Brian J. Larney, Elliott Alberson, Jeremy Alberson.
Honorary bearers are Andrew Alexander, Walter Larney, Thomas Billie, Cecil Larney.
Minko Larney-Jacques
Graveside services for Minko Rey Larney-Jacques are scheduled for 11a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Larney Cemetery, in Little. Mildred Harjo will officiate.
He was born Oct. 4, in Oklahoma City, to Sergio Jacquez and Sharlett Larney.
His parents; brothers Donell and Nathanial Haag; and sister Ashley Jaques survive him.
Arrangements were made by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, in Wewoka.
Billie Larson
The funeral for Billie J. Larson, 79, of Enid, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dan O’Daniel officiating.
Family and friends will gather afterward at Christian Church of the Covenant, 1205 S. Cleveland. Burial is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday in the Oakwood Cemetery, in Wewoka.
She was born to Henry Albert and Edna Jane (Dunafon) Dinsmore on March 6, 1929, in Wewoka, and died Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, in Oklahoma City.
Billie grew up in Wewoka and graduated from Wewoka High School. She married T.R. Ferguson in 1949, and they lived in Oklahoma City. She later married Merlin H. Larson on Jan. 19, 1957 in Sterling, Colo., and they made their home in Bartlesville.
Billie was a homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses. They moved to Enid in 1971, and then to Roosevelt, Utah in 1975. While in Utah, she was active with the Pink Ladies Auxilliary and taught Sunday school, she also kept books for the church. They moved back to Enid in 1977. She was a member of Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church.
Billie is survived by her husband Merl of the home; four children, Sherri Dady and Rita Hess and her husband Burlie, all of Enid, Patti Hanscom and her husband Richard, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and Tom Ferguson and his wife Terry, of Greeneville, Tenn; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Good and her husband Vaughn, and Glenda Watson, all of Enid; and two brothers, O.R. "Tokey" Dinsmore and C. E. "Pete" Dinsmore and his wife Sherry, all of Enid, and many nieces and nephews.
Four sisters, Blanche, Bertie, Monie and Betty, and one infant brother James preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church.
Helen Lashley
Funeral services for former Seminole resident Helen (Smart) Lashley are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gussie Ely Memorial Chapel at Ashland Cemetery.
Rev. Jimmy Freeman is to officiate with interment to follow in Ashland Cemetery.

Lashley, 88 of Holdenville, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 in Oklahoma City. She was born May 25, 1920 in Celestine, Okla., to Jacob Fulton and Ora Jane (Hodges) Smart.
She grew up in Ashland and lived in Seminole before moving to Holdenville. Laskley was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and watching sports.
Lashley was an active member of the Harvest Time Church of Holdenville.
Her parents; two grandsons; brother, J.T. Smart; and three sisters: Bernice Glover, Loretta Johnston, and Tommye Potts, preceded her in death.
Surviving is her daughter, Gena King of Wewoka; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters: Jessie Ely of Pittsburgh, Okla., Inez Nelson of Ashland, Joy Jimenez of Monte Clare, Calif., and Bette Adams of Claremore.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Joe Ely, Charlie Bishop, Greg Adams, Nolan Lake, David Smart, and Michael George.
