Funeral services for Seminole resident Daniel Keith Minnich are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Seminole First Baptist Church with Rev. Paschael Bevins and Rev. Bill Crow officiating.
Mass is scheduled to take place on Friday at 12 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Okemah with Father Peter Phung, Father Matthew Brown and Father George Pupios officiating.
Burial is to follow the mass at the Highland Cemetery in Okemah. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah.
Minnich, 23, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 in Oklahoma City. He was born Sept. 5, 1984 in Oklahoma City to Rickey Edwin Minnich and Jo Ann Epperson Minnich.
He was a 2003 graduate of Okemah High School and a 2005 graduate of Seminole State College. Currently he was attending East Central University and was preparing to graduate in May 2008 with a teaching degree.
Minnich was a student and volunteer fireman. He and his fiancée were planning a June 7, 2008 wedding ceremony.
He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, four wheeling, firefighting and baseball. He attended Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of good standing of the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Okemah.
Surviving is his fiancée, Kelly Michelle Grant of Seminole; his mother of Okemah; his father of Del City; two brothers: Andrew Minnich of Okemah and Preston Minnich of Oklahoma City; one sister, Michelle Minnich of Okemah; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Dwight Epperson of Okemah; paternal grandparents, Charles and Thelma Minnich of Guthrie; fiancée’s parents, Mike and Jerry Pat Grant of Seminole; and his fiancée’s grandparents, Jerry and Patsy McGehee of Seminole.
Pall bearers will be: Seth Tinsley, Rufus Reed, Dustin Ford, Aaron Williamson, Jason Hudson, Andrew Minnich and Preston Minnich.
An account has been established at the Citizen’s State Bank of Okemah in Minnich’s name and is to be used for scholarships.
Daniel Moody
Funeral services for Strother graduate Daniel Levi Moody are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Don Lawson officiating.
Burial is to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Services are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service, Shawnee.
Danny Moody, 56 of Shawnee died Saturday, May 3, 2008 at a local hospital. He was born July 7, 1951 in Oklahoma City to Levi Moody and Patsy Ruth (Stubbs) Moody.
He graduated from Strother High School in 1969 and attended East Central University in Ada. In 1976 he married Lisa Pamberton in Lawton.
Danny worked for 28 years with Motorola before retiring as a sales team leader. Being a salesman was his lot in life and he was a genuine "people person". Those characteristics showed in every aspect of his life.
He was proud of being a member of the Galvin Masters, a highly regarded group within Motorola. He was also a longtime member of World Wide Church of God.
In his own words, "It’s all about a positive attitude and relationships!"
His mother, Patsy Ruth Moody, and his stepmother, Evelyn Moody, preceded him in death.
Danny’s life was his family and friends. Those who survive him are: wife, Lisa Moody of the home; two sons: Brad Moody and wife Marcy of McLoud, and Blake Moody and wife Ashley of Midwest City; twin grandsons: Parker Daniel Moody and Peyton Levi Moody; father, Levi Moody of Shawnee; one brother, David Moody and wife Pamela of Japan; two sisters: Rhonda Cain of Reno, Nev., and Deborah Hoosier and husband Jim of Ft. Worth, Texas; three step-sisters: Karen Grace and husband Terry of Earlsboro, Elaine Armstrong of Oklahoma City, and Linda Warden and husband Lynn of Seminole; and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Joyce Moor
Joyce Ann Oaks Moor, 70 years old, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. at St. John's hospital in Tulsa. Joyce battled RA for 30 years and succumbed to many complications from the disease.
Joyce was born in Okmulgee,
Jan. 9, 1938, to Earl and Alma Oaks. She graduated from Wewoka High School in 1956 and attended Oklahoma University was member of Alpha Chi Omega. She is survived by: her husband of 24 years, Jonathan W. Moor of Broken Arrow; sister, Karyl Oaks Welch and husband Bob of Denison, Texas; brother, Jim Oaks and wife Dee of Pottsboro, Texas; and step-son, Jay Moor of Oologah; nephew, Robb McCauley and wife Terry of Austin, Texas; grand niece, Sara McCauley of Austin, Texas; grand nephew, Chris Branum of Austin, Texas; nieces, Jenna Oaks, Audra Oaks; and nephew, Barrett Oaks all of McKinney, Texas; aunts, Alice Oaks of Wichita, Kan and Virginia Lee Oaks and husband, Vince of Houston, Texas; sister-in-laws: Jackie Miller and husband Jerry of Cedar, Minn; Kenna Thompson and husband Walt of Mankato, Minn.
Services were held Saturday, August 9th at Moore Southlawn Chapel, Okmulgee.

Bertha Moore
Graveside services for former Seminole resident Bertha Marie Moore are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Little Cemetery.

Moore, 73, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Borger, Texas. She was born June 18, 1934 in Weldy, Okla.
She moved to Borger in August 2007 so that her daughter could care for her. Moore was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Her daughter, Brenda Maples; two sisters; and four brothers, preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son, Bob Howard Moore, Jr., of Seminole; two daughters: Linda McCulley of Grand Prairie, Texas, Bobbie Herrera of Borger; brother, Richard Butts of Dover, Okla.; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Geneva Moore
Funeral services for Wichita Falls resident Geneva Moore will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the First United Methodist Church of Wichita Falls, with Rev. John Dillard, associate pastor, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Geneva Moore, 75, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. She was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Hollis, Okla.
Mrs. Moore worked as a cashier at the 9th Street Food Store for many years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Victoria Mast; brother, Elmer B. Taylor, Jr.; sister, Wynemio Boyd; and her brother, Billy Hoover.
Survivors include her husband, J. Doug Moore of Wichita Falls; son, Buddy Murray and wife, Candy of Wichita Falls; daughter, Valerie Jane Cook and husband, Larry of Wichita Falls; daughter, Janet Susan Anglin and husband, Harden of Wichita Falls; and son, Daryl Moore of Wichita Falls; father, Sam Howard Hoover of Aransas Pass; sister, Patricia Sue Diesker of Wichita Falls; brother, L. R. Collier of Riverside, California; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

James Morgan
Funeral services for James Monroe Morgan of Harrah are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Christian Center, Del City, with Rev. Paul Sharp officiating.
Interment is to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home, Midwest City.
Morgan, 71, died Monday, March 17, 2008. He was born Dec. 7, 1936 in Sapulpa to Sterling and Cora Mae Morgan.
He married former Seminole resident Roberta Quinalty and was a longtime member of Calvary Christian Center.
Morgan served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Yellow Freight as a cross-country truck driver.
His parents; one sister, Mildred Bigger; and three brothers: Delmar Fouts, Thomas Fouts, and Gene Fouts, preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife of the home, and brother, Joe Morgan of Owasso.
Helen Morphis
Funeral Services for Helen Darlene Morphis Julian are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday Dec. 12, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Freeman officiating and interment, at Little Cemetery.
Morphis was born Feb. 1, 1933, in Old Butner. She was graduate of Castle High School. She married Leon Delbert Julian (Semi) and he preceded her in death in 1968.
Survivors include her children, Terry Julian, of Wewoka, Andrea Thornton Calvert, of Wewoka, Leonda Lucas, of Oklahoma City; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers and Sisters, Barbara Shackelford, of Wewoka, Audrey Miller, of Blackwell, Herb Morphis, of Cromwell, Sue Larney, of Horntown, and Alan Morphis, of Alabama.

Harlan Moses
Harlan "Skeezie" Wayne Moses died Friday, Dec. 19, at St. Anthony's Hospital, in Oklahoma City. He was born Jan. 29, 1956, in Taliina, to Sam and Josephine (McGertt) Moses.
A wake was scheduled for Monday, Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. at Hilltop Indian Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 2 p.m. at Hilltop Indian Presbyterian Church.
Officiating will be Rev. TJ Fixico and Rev. Larry Harrison
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Moses, of the home; sister, Suzanna Moses, of Wewoka; three daughters, Sharlene Stewart, Josephine Weaver and Eilene Moses; son Emmanuel Moses; step-son Charles Yargee; and six grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Sandra Faye Moses and Rosetta Moses; and brother, Harold Moses.

Lowell Mosley
Longtime Seminole resident Lowell W. Mosley died on Nov. 12, 2008, at his home.
He was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Lexington to Willie Vester and Stella Mae (Cheatwood) Mosley.
He retired as a pulling unit operator in 1986.
He married Lucille Kathryn (Sands) on March 25, 1943, in Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Mosley of the home, daughter Yevonne Campbell of Shawnee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Billy, Curtis and Ralph Mosley, one grandson, and one great grandson.
A private family service will be held.
Ruth Muliken
Ruth E. (Benscoter) Mulliken, 94 year-old Seminole, resident died Thursday, Dec. 18, at Seminole Estates Care Center, in Seminole. She was born June 2, 1914, in Clay Township, Iowa to Effie (Traister) Benscoter and Fay Benscoter.
She married Kenneth Colivin Mulliken on Feb. 9, 1941, in Iowa and he preceded her in death.
Mulliken worked for Occidental Petroleum Company as a secretary until her retirement. She moved to Seminole from Iowa in 1996 to be close to her nephew Vernon Staley.
Survivors include one nephew, Vernon Staley, of Seminole and one niece, Clydeen Donnall, of Ft. Navaho, Ariz.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Kenneth Mulliken; two brothers, Ralph and Clyde Benscoter; three sisters, Irene Beckman, Ethel Speisser and Alma Thompson.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 20, at Maple Grove Cemetery, in Seminole with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, in Seminole.
