THELMA B. MOORE
ADA — Graveside services for Thelma B. Moore, 87, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Vamoosa Cemetery, Revs. Bob Langston and Kenneth Elkins will officiate.

Mrs. Moore died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 13, 1917, at Sasakwa to Luke and Ida Balmain Factor. She attended school at Sasakwa and Vamoosa.

She married William H. Moore May 31, 1934. He died Nov. 14, 1994.

Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and a surgical technician at Valley View Regional Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of Oak Avenue Baptist Church for more than 50 years.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Kotlewski and her husband Norman, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Betty McCutcheon and her husband Charles, Ada, Lois A. Ross and her husband Richard, Ada, and Sharon Morrison, Wichita, Kan.; grandchildren, Kent Kotlewski, Suzan Smith, Lisa Pitarque, Randall Ross, Nancy Logan, Michael Whitson, Jaye Lynn Laxton, Lori Hunter, Laurie Delling, Tiffany Ryan and Leslie Miller; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Henry Moore Jr. in June 1937.

Bearers will be grandsons and great grandsons, Kent Kotlewski, Zachary Factor, Randall Ross, Jason Kotlewski, Michael Whitson and Brad Laxton.

THREE RIVERS, Texas — Graveside services for Stephen Francis Cazier, 51, Three Rivers, Texas, were 11 a.m. today at Allen Cemetery, Allen, Okla., the Rev. Bob Langston will officiate.

Mr. Cazier died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at his home. He was born Oct. 27, 1953, in Livingston, Mont., to George Gilbert and Margaret Jofe Cazier.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Cazier, of the home; two daughters, Rachel Wright and husband Michael, George West, Texas, and Tara Cazier, Three Rivers, Texas; two brothers, Clint Cazier, Helena, Mont., and George Cazier, Lampasas, Texas; two sisters, Kathy Hiesler, Great Falls, Mont., and Ann McIntyre, Hallettsville, Mont.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mack and Vermell Yoakum, Corpus Christi, Texas; granddaughter, Walker Wright, George West, Texas; grandson, Wylie Wright, George West, Texas; and several nieces and nephews

ADA — Services for Carole Ann Snyder, 65, Ada, are 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Tony Peak and Joe Howry will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Snyder died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at her home. She was born Aug. 18, 1939, in the Pleasant Grove Community, near Lawton to Kenneth and Mattie Lee McGee Clopton. She graduated from Central High School in Marlow and attended Cameron College for one year. She moved to Ada in November 1963 from Lawton.

She married Bill Snyder Oct. 10, 1958. Mrs. Snyder was a homemaker and a member of Lovelady Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Snyder, of the home; one son, Ronnie W. Snyder and wife Janie, Ada; two daughters, Debbie Cathey and Sheila Jones and husband Joe Don, all of Ada; two brothers, Keith Clopton and wife Carol, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Doug Clopton, Tulsa; one sister, Jean Matthews and husband Don, Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Ronnie D. Snyder, Whitney Cathey, Summer Snyder, Tyrel Jones, Tiffany Cathey and Mallory Jones.

Bearers are Frank Jared, Leon Cross, Terry Winters, Johnny Brassfield, Ike Bray, Jerry Howard and Odell Deaton

PAULS VALLEY — Graveside services for Eli Washington Morris, 90, Pauls Valley, are 10 a.m. Friday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, the Rev. Larry Cornforth officiating. Military honors will be performed.

Mr. Morris died May 24, 2005, at Pauls Valley. He was born May 10, 1915 at Pontotoc County to George W. and Dollie May Lawson Morris.

He married Willie V. Heath Morris at Pauls Valley Oct. 20, 1952.

Mr. Morris worked in maintenance for the Pauls Valley State School and was a veteran of World War II. He moved to Pauls Valley in 1952 and was a member of Valley Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Irene Lambert; and a brother, Kenneth Morris.

Survivors include his wife; four sisters, Lorene Mullins, Woodward, Christina Southard, Waxahachi, Texas, Pauline Holland, Lubbock, Texas, and Kathyrene Hannah, Pauls Valley; and two brothers, Gus Morris, Pauls Valley, and G.D. Morris, Houston, Texas.

Visitation is today from 5-7 p.m. at Pickard Funeral Home Chapel.

JEWEL SANDERS
STONEWALL — Services for Jewel Dorothy Sanders, 86, Stonewall, are 2 p.m. Friday at the Tupelo Church of Christ, with Wendell Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at Byrd’s Prairie Cemetery at Tupelo.

Mrs. Sanders died Tuesday May 24, 2005, at an Ada hospital. She was born June 11, 1918, at Tupelo to Elbert and Ida Jane Melton Young. She attended school at Tupelo.

She married Basil M. Sanders Dec. 21, 1935 at Clarita. He died Nov. 4, 2003, in Stonewall.

Mrs. Sanders and her husband left this area in 1953 and returned in 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tupelo Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, Dewayne Sanders and wife Frances, Lakehead, Calif., and Bill Sanders and wife Helen, Venice, Fla.; a daughter, Janet Park, Stonewall; a sister, Fern Jones, Bakersfield, Calif.; grandchildren, Steven Sanders, Lakehead, Calif., John Sanders, Clayton, Calif., Cheryle Martin, Auburn, Calif., and Marc Finnecy, Point, Texas; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Basil Sanders, her parents, four brothers, Chester Young, Earl Young, Loyd Young and Clyde Young, and a sister, Ruby Harkins.

Bearers will be Audie Sanders, Roger Sanders, Doyle Sanders, Wayne Sanders, Raymond Batchelor and Al Sanders. Honorary bearers will be Herman Bills, Bob Woods, Winford Westbrook, Dub Rush and L. M. Rush.

Mr. Colvin died May 20, 2005, in Ada.

RANDY KARTY
ADA — Services for Randolph Scott “Randy” Karty, 71, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ada Church of God Worship Center, the Rev. Zackary Hadden will officiate. Burial will follow at Corley Cemetery, four miles south of Stratford.

Mr. Karty died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at an Ardmore hospital. He was born Dec. 3, 1933, in Lawton to George and Kate Botone Karty. He was adopted at an early age by his uncle, William “Bill” Karty and wife, Evelyn Karty. He attended school at Lawton and various other states as his father’s work required moves. He was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and also attended Oral Roberts University.

He married Janice Lunsford June 18, 1983.

Mr. Karty was a pastor at Coweta and Oklahoma City and also Mesa, Ariz. Later, he was a missionary and served on Indian reservations for 18 months. Mr. Karty served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Karty, of the home; three daughters, Lori A. Duble and Nancy S. Kimmick, both of Oklahoma City and Gina C. Lunsford, Ada; two sons, Gregory R. Lunsford, Coweta, and Kyle L. Lunsford, Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, Chloe A. Duble, Tori E. Duble, Noah S. Duble, Evan H. Kimmick, Zander G. Kimmick, Katelyn S. Kimmick, Breckton R. Lunsford, and Maui C. Castro; three brothers, Billy Karty, Ken Karty and George Karty Jr, all of Lawton; three sisters, Lois Gonzales, Lawton, and Glenda Dennis, Lawton, and Penny Escoto, Thoreau, N.M.; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by both sets of parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Bearers will be his nephews.
