Graveside services for Sasakwa resident Lawrence Raymond Reich were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Lone Dove Cemetery with Virgil Romine officiating.
Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Reich, 69, died Friday, April 25, 2008 at his residence in Sasakwa. He was born April 6, 1939 in Sasakwa to Ammon Hansford and Atlas Imajean Rose Reich.
He attended school in Sasakwa and Kight. Reich worked for Don Kimrey in the oilfield as a driller for a number of years.
His parents; son, Randal; sister, Marie Landreth; and brothers: A.H., Sherman, Herbert and Clarence, preceded him in death.
Survivors include family members: Ivan Reich of California, Millard, Jack, Jerry and Lester Reich, all of Sasakwa; and sister, Ima Joan Long of Sasakwa.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy Reich, Jackie Reich, Ron Reich, Dave Reich, Nickey Reich, and Johnny Reich.
Lucy Reinschmidt
Lucy Emaline Reinschmidt, age 98, died Saturday, Dec. 20, at Solara Hospital, in Shawnee.
Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Gotebo Cemetery, in Gotebo. Richard Sisco will officiate.
She was born March 5, 1910, in Bessie, to R. A. Lindsay and Nancy (Miller) Lindsay. She married Jacob G. Reinschmidt on April 3, 1928, in Arapaho. She moved to the Konawa and Asher area in 1994. She was a housewife and a member of the Gotebo Baptist Church
She is survived by one daughter, Lillie Bottom, of Asher; and by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R. A. and Nancy Lindsay; husband, Jacob Reinschmidt; five sons, one daughter, and five sisters.
Pallbearers were Eddie Bottom, Eddie Bottom, Jr., Ronnie Wartchow, Mark Wartchow, Chad Wartchow, and Danny Fleming.
Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Reinschmidt, Jimmy Reinschmidt, Billy Reinshmidt, Lester Reinshmidt, and C. J. Sisco.
Services were under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, in Konawa.
Naomi Renfro
Wewoka resident, Naomi Jean Renfro, age 77, died Nov. 3, in Wewoka.
She was born April 16, 1931, in Cromwell, to Cleveland Jennings and Lerah Richardson. She lived most of her life in Seminole County.
She attended and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Renfro worked for many years cooking and catering. She worked for Berry’s Waffle House, Aldridge Hotel, Ben’s BBQ, Morgan’s Mug, and she catered for the Rotary Club.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, in Wewoka, with Pastor James Mustin, of New Jerusalem Temple, in Oklahoma City, officiating. Internment will follow at Westwood Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Levernon Jennings; four sisters, Mary Tarver, Lizzy Mae, Zelma Clark, and Mayetta Bowden.
She is survived by her sons, Terry Renfro, of Edmond, James Charles Renfro, of Oklahoma City, Anthony Keith Edwards, and Fredrick Ivan Jennings, of Wewoka; daughters, Barbara James, Billie Renfro, and Loraine Edwards, all of Oklahoma City; sister, Alma Jean Jennings, of Oklahoma City; brother, Clifford Jennings, of Checotah; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Myers Mortuary, in Wewoka.
Dorothy Rich
Dorothy Mae Rich died Saturday, Dec. 6, at Holdenville General Hospital, at the age of 73.
She was born July 11, 1935, to James Baker Bray and Ora Gladys (Houston) Bray, in Lebanon, Mo. She was brought up in Springfield, Mo. and moved in her younger years to live with her sister in Manteca, Calif. She was married to Sterling Clifford Rich on Aug. 23, 1953, in Lathrop, Calif., and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in various nursing homes.
They moved to Holdenville on Oct. 7, 1994.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Rich, of the home, Terrie Bunch, of Fort Smith, Ark., and Rhonda Plott, of Seminole; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, James and Ora Bray; her husband, Sterling Rich; sister, Leona Collard; and brother, James Bray.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13, 11:30 a.m. at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating ministers are Rev. David Newbold and Rev. Darla Newbold. Interment will be in the Holdenville Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Nick Henson, Waylon Ford, Michael Newbold, Larry Ingram, Dennis Files and Erick Valles. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Plott, David Breed, Clyde Minter and Vernon Ralston.
Services are under direction of Fisher Funeral Home of Holdenville.
Garnet Richards
Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident Garnet Dean Richards are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Temple of Praise Church with Rev. Harold Turner officiating.
Interment is to follow at Wolf Cemetery with services being under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Richards, 81, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Colonial Estates in Shawnee. He was born Aug. 11, 1926 in Fanshaw, Okla., to Shvey George and Goldy Bird (Bost) Richards.
He retired from Seminole County as a road grater and was a member of the Temple of Praise Church in Seminole.
His parents and one son, Allen Richards, preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons: Ronnie Richards and David Richards, both of Stillwater, and Billy Richards of Cushing; three daughters: Alice Richards of Earlsboro, Diann Richards of Kansas City, Kan., and Debbie Richards of Alaska; two sisters: Loberta Elliott of Sasakwa, and Lavada Elliott of Wister, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and numerous gret-grandchildren.
Mildred Richardson
Funeral services for longtime Konawa area resident Mildred L. Richardson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa with Rev. Jasper Ligon officiating.
Burial is to follow at Konawa Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Mildred L. (Hamrick) Richardson, 89, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2008 at Ada Retirement Center. She was born Aug. 28, 1918 in Whitesboro, Texas to Clarence and Vida Hamrick.
On Sept. 18, 1935 she married James Lloyd Richardson in Tishomingo. They moved to Konawa in 1941.
Richardson was a homemaker and a longtime member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Byng.
Her parents; husband (Feb. 28, 1984); and four brothers: Myrlee, Robert, Billy Joe and Wendell Hamrick, preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, James Richardson of Ada; one daughter, Betty Jane Martin of Byng; three grandchildren, all of Ada; and two great-grandchildren.
Serving as casket bearers will be: Eric Martin, Evan Martin, Kevin Shaw, Justin West, Keith Alred and Ronnie Mitchusson.
Kenneth Riddle
Kenneth "J.B." Riddle, 79 year-old Seminole resident, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, at his home surrounded by family and friends, after a short battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Maysville, to Eli Riddle and Nancy Vyrtle (Eldred) Riddle.
He married Peggy Joyce Bratcher on May 10, 1955, in Mountainair, N.M.
Riddle worked as a lineman/foreman for Mullinix Construction Company, out of Oklahoma City for 30 years. He also worked as a sales representative for Augur Sales, out of Iowa Park, Texas for 18 years. Prior to that he worked as a sales representative for Harleman Manufacturing, out of El Dorado Springs, Mo. for a few years.
The Riddles moved to Seminole in Nov. of 1966, living here for the past 42 years. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Peggy Riddle, of the home; two daughters Robin Riddle, of Seminole and Vickie Verie (Riddle) McCracken, of Mill Creek; and one sister, Hattie M. Riddle, of Sulphur.
Preceding him in death are his parents, six sisters and seven brothers.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 7, at 12 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, in Seminole. His sister-in-law, Zella (Riddle) Harden will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, in Seminole.
Casket Bearers will be: Phillip Cartwright, Harold Cartwright, David Riddle, Joe Dan Riddle, Stephen McCracken and Homer L. Rinehart.
The family has designated the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for Cancer research as appropriate for memorial donations in his memory. The address is 825 N.E. 13th Street, Oklahoma City, 73104-9930.

Letha Rivers
Letha M. Rivers, 75-year-old resident of Tecumseh, passed from this life Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Seminole Medical Center. She was born Jan. 13, 1933. in Seminole, to parents Fred Napoleon and Velma (Tallie) Napoleon.
Letha was a longtime Seminole County resident where she attended Booker T. Washington High School, being honored as Football Queen. She was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Wittiness, in Tecumseh. Letha loved to cook, garden and loved decorating but most of all loved being with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Leonard Lee Rivers, of Tecumseh; three daughters and a son-in-law, Velma Jean and Eddie Carr, of Tecumseh, Vanessa Alexander, of Shawnee, and Veada Marie Capas, of Shawnee; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Spencer and Bessie Napoleon, of Madera, Calif., Bobby and Kaye Napoleon, of Shawnee, Ted and Kathy Napoleon, of San Jose, Calif., and Willie and Linda Napoleon, of Holdenville; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Henry Hall, of Oklahoma City, Eudell Young, of Shawnee, Hazel and Marvin Keesee, of Lima, Wyomia Reed, of Oklahoma City, Ernestine Gordon, of Wewoka, and Debra Teal, of Shawnee; Grandchildren, Shana Marie and Rickey Christopher, of Oklahoma City, Robert Ervin, of Wagner, Arsenio Carr, of Tecumseh, and Shawn Deshai Alexander, of Shawnee; great grandchildren, Gregrion and Hailey Christopher, of Oklahoma City and Robert Issac Ervin, of Wagner. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Linzy Lee Rivers who died March 10, 2006 and by four brothers, Fred, Jr., Alvin, John and Leon Napoleon.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, in Seminole. Interment will follow at Earlsboro Cemetery, in Earlsboro.

John Robertson
Graveside services for Maud resident John Jackson Robertson are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wolf Cemetery with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
Services are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home, Maud.
Robertson, 90, died Sunday, May 4, 2008 in Oklahoma City. He was born Oct. 6, 1917 in Wolf to J.E. Robertson and Losogee "Rose" Harjo.
On Feb. 1936 he married Willie Mae Robertson and she preceded him in death on July 17, 2006.
He was self-employed as a welder and retired in 1985. Robertson served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Three sons: Jimmy Ray Robertson (1945), Jack Robertson (1976) and Max Robertson (1998); brother, Marvin Robertson, and two sister: Lela Belle Pittsenberger and Stella Pierce, also preceded him in death.
Surviving is daughter, Rose L. Reich of Maud; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Andrew Robinson
Graveside services for former Seminole County resident A.L. "Andrew" Robinson are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Blackburn Cemetery in Norman.
Funeral services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel of Moore.
A.L., 76, of Oklahoma City, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008, surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 9, 1931 in Olton, Texas and moved to Oklahoma City at a young age, with his family.
He joined the U.S. Navy and served as a corpsman with the Marines in the Korean War. He worked for Locke Plumbing Supply for 25 years.
He moved to Muskogee and later moved back to Oklahoma City.
Surviving are daughters: Barbara Montague of Oklahoma City, and Traci Robinson of Jenks; and sons: Robin of Pompano, Fla., David of Wellington, Okla., Russell of Muskogee, and Randall of Seminole; nine grandchildren; four grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
His parents, seven siblings, his loving wife Betty Sue, and son Andrew of Tulsa, preceded him in death.
