Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Vieux, 48 year-old lifelong Pottawatomie resident died Nov. 28, at Solara Hospital, in Shawnee. She was born Dec. 11, 1959, in Pauls Valley, to Charles Franklin "Charlie" Vieux and Mary Elizabeth (Holmes) Vieux.
She attended Saint Louis Elementary School and Maud High School. She was a member of the Saint Louis First Baptist Church and a Citizen Pottawatomie Nation Tribal Member. She worked as a nurse’s aid at Sunset Estates, in Tecumseh and as a bartender at the Endzone, in Shawnee.
Survivors include her daughter, JoVonna Hicks, of Shawnee; three sisters, Charlene Killian, of Maud, Clarice Murdock, of Saint Louis, Teresa Vieux, of Tecumseh; and three grandchildren;
Preceding her in death were her parents, Charlie Vieux (2007) and Mary Vieux; and her brother, Nick Vieux;
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the First Baptist Church, in Saint Louis, with Leon Bruno officiating.
Honorary Bearers will be, Randy Killian, Jessie Williams, Mike West, Dewey Ketakea, Ray Jones and George Middleton.

Helen Vinsant
Funeral services for Wewoka native Helen Ruth Vinsant are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Wewoka, with Rev. Michael Vallandingham officiating.
Interment is to follow at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Helen Ruth Vinsant entered heaven Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, joining her beloved parents, Jim and Julie Newman; sisters: Evelyn Newman, May Stout, Ethel Capps; and brothers: Fred Newman, Palmer Newman, Charley Newman, and Harris Newman.
She was born May 23, 1920 in Wewoka and she worked at numerous nursing homes in food service.
Ruth was a member of First Baptist Church. Her church family was precious to her, as she was to them.
Surviving in one special niece, Darlene Pointer of Ada; and two special nephews: Darrell Stout of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Bob Newman of Wewoka.
Pallbearers will be Vern Kitsmiller, Mark Newman, Shannon Smith, Ryan Esseltrom, Cecil Moore, Jarod Stafford and Tony Bevelhymer.
Honorary bearers will be the First Baptist Church Deacons.

Jimmy Wade
Jimmy "Jim" Wade, 63 year-old Maud, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Aug. 6, 2008 in Eufaula. He was born Nov. 24, 1944 in Wewoka to parents Edith Etta (Goss) Wade and Clarence Jimmy Wade, Sr..
Jim graduated from Midwest City High School in 1963. He continued his education at Oklahoma University for the next four years.
He then served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged on Aug. 31, 1969.
Jim married Peggy Sue Strickland on February 13, 1977 in Midwest City. Together they moved to Maud, where they were partners in a concrete finishing business. When they sold the business, Jim taught auto mechanics at Maud High School for several years.
Jim and Peggy then started their own business, Wade Dump Truck Service that they currently owned and operated.
Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years Peggy Wade of the home in Maud; two sons, Sean Goodman of Tulsa, and Daniel Wade of Maud; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Meredith Wade of Bethany, and Joe and Becky Wade of Eufaula; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy & Ron Allen of Saint Louis, Shirley and Tom Reddin of Newcastle, and Gwen and Danny Danielson of Edmond; brother and sisters-in-law, Keith and Deena Strickland, Bill Presley and Sandra Ledbetter all of Maud. Jim is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father-in-law, Leroy and Iris Strickland; one brother-in-law, Johnny Ledbetter; one sister-in-law, Jeanene Presley and by two nephews, Jason Allen and Dean Wade.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, with Larry Hawkins Officiating the service. Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud with Military Honors.
Casket Bearers will be: Randy Killian, Danny Bailey, Davey Lehman, Jeff Everett, Willie Gordon and Pete Chappell.
Honorary Bearers will be: Bob Miller, Shane Smith, Teo Rodriguez and George Bowlin.

Kathleen Wade
Services for well known Seminole County resident Kathleen "Kathy" (Barkhimer) Wade are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at First Baptist Church, Wewoka with Tony Chesser officiating and interment to follow at Tate Mountain. She passed away Monday, October 27, in Holdenville.
Kathy married Robert Wade on Oct. 20, 1973, in Wewoka. He preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 2006. Together they had three children.
She is survived by sons, Robert Matthew Wade, of Wewoka, Brett David Wade and his wife Tammy, of Konawa; daughter, Kelli Chevonne Bryant, of Wewoka; grandchildren, Jacee, Cassie, and Morgan Wade, all of Strothers, Austyn and Shayla Wade, of Shawnee, Adam Wilson, of Shawnee, Lindsey Wilson and Brittany Bailey, of Konawa, Braxton and Carter Bryant, of Wewoka; three great-grandchildren, Addysyn McFarland, of Konawa, Cassidy Wilson, of Shawnee, and Briesan Bastible, of Konawa; her father, L.M. Barkhimer, of Wewoka; brother, Steve Barkhimer, of Wewoka, two sisters, Sue Smith, of Wewoka, and Linda Sadler, of Beggs; her fiance', Mark Richards; his parents, Ray and Nancy Richards, of Choctaw; his son, Blake and wife Beth, daughter Alexis, of Springfield, Mo; two daughters, Casandra Richards, of Omaha, Neb., and Toni Richards, daughter Alysea, and son Joel, of Omaha, Neb., many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mother Jessie Faye Smith Barkhimer, twin sister Christine Barkhimer, and brother Armon "Butch" Leonard Barkhimer.
Kathy attended Limestone Elementary School and graduated from New Lima High School in 1971. She was currently employed by Holdenville Hospital. She was a long time active member of Wewoka Rebekah Lodge 43.
Pallbearers will be Jason Morris, Jack Davis, Mitch Davis, Scott Barkhimer, Carl Barkhimer, and Rowdy Kincade.

David Walker
David Wayne Walker resident of Seminole County died Sept. 6, at the age of 35 years in Oklahoma City.
Wake Services will be 6p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2p.m. Wednesday at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Harjo officiating.
Walker was born Aug. 27, 1973 in Clare more, to Harold and Teresa (Larney) Walker. He graduated from Strothers High School in 1991 and attended College at Oklahoma City Community College.
He worked at Winslow Associates in Edmond, as a paint finisher.
He tattooed, drew, rode bikes, coached , and assisted in his children's baseball and football games in Oklahoma City and Wewoka.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents Ryder and Serena Larney, of Seminole and William and Harriet Hamilton, of Ada.
Survivors include: Father, Harold Walker, Mother Teresa (Larney) Walker, Sons: Ray and Eben Walker and Daughter Broanna Walker
Pallbearers will be: Vic Gutierrez, Bobby Thomas, Jimmy Warledo, Jeremy Culver, Daniel Haney, and Boyd Tiger.

Debbie Wallace
Funeral services for Konawa area native Debbie Sue Wallace are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa with Dr. Milburn Wilson officiating.
Burial is to follow at Dora Cemetery with services being under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Wallace, 50, died Monday, June 16, 2008 at her residence in Oklahoma City. She was born June 17, 1957 in Shawnee to Glen H. Wallace and Bonita (Hudson) Wallace.
She owned and operated a transportation company that transported autos and recreational vehicles all over the country.
Wallace also was a property owner and member of the National Rifle Association and Good Sams Club.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Surviving is her brother, Monte G. Wallace of Shawnee.
Vivianna Wallace
Vivianna Wallace, longtime Seminole, resident died Thursday, Nov. 13, at Carl Albert Hospital, in Ada. Vivianna was born March 8, 1918, in Sulphur, to Melvin and Flossie Hudson.
Vivianna lived in Sulphur for a few years before moving to the Seminole area where she has lived for over 85 years. She attended Bowlegs Public schools and graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1937. In November of 1937 she married A.D.Wallace in Seminole, and he preceded her in death in 1978.
Vivianna retired from Lillian Russel Clothing Manufacturing in Wewoka, after 20 years of service to them as a seamstress. Mrs. Wallace was a lifelong member of the Trinity Baptist Church, in Letha, where she was very active in the Naomi Sunday School Class.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to her. She also loved music, reading and traveling.
Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A.D. Wallace; and a sister, Irene Merillat.
She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-laws, Javonah and Charles Evans and Lawanna and Dewey Lee, both of Seminole. Two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Donna Wallace and Neil and Sue Wallace, both of Seminole.
She is also survived by her grandchildren Dennie and Pam Evans, of Eufaula, Karla Evans, of Seminole, Steven Evans, of Oklahoma City, Dewayne and Sharon Wallace, of Seminole, Danny and Susan Wallace, of Piedmont, Charlotte and Mike McCracken, of Tecumseh, Leslie and Marilyn Wallace, of Los Lunas, N.M., and Chris and Stephanie Lee, of Prague; great-grandchildren, Danielle and Russell Yott, of Konawa, Whitney and Kodi Evans, of Eufaula, Ethan, Alena and Devin McCracken, of Tecumseh, Dakota and Cheynene Wallace, of Los Lunas, N.M., Anna Rose Lee, of Prague; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Doug Foraker, of Shawnee, and Robert and Joyce Foraker, of Maysville; and sister, Ollie Bickerstaff, of Codmus, Mich.
She is also survived by a very special friend Clifford Beichner, of Seminole.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Lee her grandson and Pastor Ron Duvall officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery, North of Seminole.
Casket bearers will be her grandson, Dennis Evans, Steven Evans, Dewayne Wallace, Danny Wallace, Leslie Wallace and Ethan McCracken.
Amy Warledo
Services for longtime Seminole County resident Amy Louise Warledo are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2008, at the Sand Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Houston Tiger will officiate.
Interment will follow at ThLocco Family Cemetery south of Wewoka.
Warledo passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at her home at the age of 57.
She was born on Feb. 15, 1951, in Wewoka, to Bunnie ThLocco and Kizzie (Long) ThLocco.
She attended Seminole High School and was a member of the Sand Creek Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Leo Warledo of the home; one son, Lucas Warledo of Seminole; four daughters, Angie Simons of Maud, Stephanie Warledo of Seminole; April Moppin of Wewoka, and Melissa Warledo of Tulsa; two sisters, Norma Warledo of Wewoka, and Shirley Wood of Wewoka; one brother, Bryant ThLocco of Kansas; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two loving sons-in-law, Gary Simons and Ryan Moppin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Nicolas Warledo, Lance Warledo Sr., and Troy Warledo; and one granddaughter, Angel Warledo.
Pallbearers will be Gary Simons, Jonathan Warledo, Lance Warledo Jr., Nicholas Simons, Rick Woods, and Kevin Fox.
Private family wake services will be held at the home. The family would like to give a special thanks to Angelic Hospice in Shawnee.
