Wake services for Konawa native Shane Lee Warledo were held at 7 p.m. last night at High Springs Indian Baptist Church, outside of Konawa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at High Springs Indian Baptist Church with Rev. Houston Tiger and Leon Bruno officiating.
Burial is to follow at the Howell Family Cemetery in Konawa. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Shane passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008 in Seminole at the age of 27. He was born Jan. 1, 1981 in Tulsa to Benny Warledo and Johnnie Mae Howell.
Shane attended Konawa Public Schools and graduated from there in 2001.
He is survived by his mother, Johnnie Mae Howell of Las Vegas, Nev.; father, Benny Warledo of Tulsa; four sisters: Shannon Warledo of Shawnee, Danita Elauofir of Oklahoma City, Tracy Warledo of Kansas City, Kan., and Danielle Lujan of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers: Benji Warledo and Rueben Warledo, both of Kansas City, Kan.; four children he considered his own: Ahmya, Canchattee, Able and Lance Thomas; several aunts and uncles; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Angel Lynn Warledo; grandfather, Porter West; uncle, Jesse West; and cousin, Mark H. Warledo.
Serving as casket bearers will be: Tommy Howell, Danny Howell, William Howell, Will Howell, Sammy Howell and Carl Wood.
Honorary bearers will be: Jesse factor, Coss Factor, Benji Warledo, Brandon Hunter, Travis Hunter, Jonathan Walker, Bobby Robinson and Jonathan Tebe.
Patricia Washington
Patricia Vanessa Washington, 53-year-old former Seminole resident passed from this life Oct. 10, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, after a battle with cancer.
She was born June 15, 1955, in Seminole, to parents Doretha Vivian (Wright) Winrow and Roy Winrow, Sr. Vanessa attended Pleasant Grove Elementary and High School.
She married Bobby Washington Aug. 3, 1984, in Las Vegas, Nev., he survives her of the home.
Washington earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees from East Central University in Special Education and worked for New Lima Schools until her retirement in 2006, after 25 years of service.
She began her career at Nobletown Elementary School before working at Boley State School for Boys and Weleetka Public Schools.
She was in pursuit of earning her Christian Counseling Degree, at Oklahoma Baptist University when she became ill. Even after she became ill she continued to serve as a substitute teacher at Tecumseh Public Schools.
She celebrated her last birthday by treating her first grade class to McDonalds. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church, in Shawnee, serving in many capacities from being in the Choir to serving on the Usher Board.
Survivors include her father, Roy Winrow, Sr., of Seminole; one son, Lance Antuan Washington, of Tecumseh; one daughter, Tanisha Atoinetta Washington, of Aliso Viejo, Calif; five brothers, Robert Foxx, Nathaniel Winrow, and Roy Winrow, II, all of Seminole, Randy Winrow and Clay Talton, both of Shawnee; five sisters, Ollie Webb, of Hesperia, Calif., Rozetta "Dee" Winrow, of Shawnee, Loretta Young, of Long Beach, Calif., Ginger Winrow, of Oklahoma City, and Carolyn Winrow, of Shawnee.
Preceding her in death are one son, Terry DeShawn Winrow; her mother, Doretha Winrow; and two brothers, Edward Foxx and Stanley Edmond.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11a.m., Friday, Oct. 17, at the First Baptist Church, in Seminole. Rev. Anthony Rhone will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery, in Wewoka.
Casket Bearers will be: Robert Foxx, Clay Talton, Randy Winrow, Nathaniel Winrow, and Roy Winrow, II.
Honorary Bearers will be: Michael Winrow, Roy Winrow III, J.C. Simpson, Curtis Hinex, Joseph Hinex, Jr., and James Simpson

William Watters
Funeral services for Sasakwa native William Edward "Bill" Watters are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Maranatha Baptist Church, Newcastle, Okla., with Rev. Sam Whiteside officiating.
Burial is to take place at 2:30 p.m. at Vamoosa Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
Watters died Monday, April 7, 2008 in Oklahoma City. He was born Jan. 26, 1925 in Sasakwa to William "Jack" Jackson and Iva Hailey Watters.
He attended Rocky Point School and on June 30, 1967 he married Elva Grooms in Wewoka.
Watters was self-employed as a drywall contractor, worked as a maintenance man for a nursing home, and finished his work career in the oil field.
His parents; three brothers: John Watters, George Watters, and Leroy Watters; and a sister, Wanda Jones, preceded him in death.
Surviving is his wife of the home; two daughters: Becky Gerred of Oklahoma City and Mada Chaves of Wylie, Texas; three sons: William Edward Watters, Jr., of Oklahoma City, Danny Watters of Newcastle, and Jacky Watters of Oklahoma City; two stepsons: Clayton Fisher of Lexington, Okla., and Ricky Pendleton of Oklahoma City; one brother, V.L. Watters; two sisters: Oleta Williams of Cromwell and Juanita Cravens of Holdenville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
James Weatherly
Graveside services for Wewoka resident James Henry "Jim" Weatherly are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Michael Vallandingham of Fist Baptist Church officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka.
Jim Weatherly passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in Oklahoma City at the age of 75 years. He was born July 20, 1933 in Elizabeth City, N.C., to James Franklin and Gladys (Spruill) Weatherly.
He married Mary Lou Nalley on March 31, 1987 in Fullerton, Calif. He worked for Hughes Aircraft as an engraver.
Jim was an avid hunter, sportsman and loved trap shooting and fishing. He belonged to the National Rifle Association.
His parents; brothers: Ervin Weatherly, Jake Lee Weatherly and James Ashby Weatherly; and sisters: Thelma Crabtree, Nellie Weatherly and Syble Haynes, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; and sisters: Melva Ambrose of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Edith Schocklin of Portsmouth, Va.
Hazel Webb
Graveside services for former Seminole County resident Hazel Cheville Webb are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Little Cemetery north of Seminole.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
Webb died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at the McAlester Regional Health Center.
She was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Oklahoma City, the youngest daughter of Robert and Clara Booth.
She had three older brothers and an older sister. Her mother died at an early age and her father remarried, going on to have three more daughters with Hazel’s step-mother.
Webb attended Central High School in Oklahoma City, and then married Sherman Webb, who worked on a milk route with her father.
Sherman and Hazel Webb married in 1936 in a Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.
She gave birth to her only child, Robert Webb, while her husband was in Germany during World War II.
When her husband returned from the war, the family moved to a farm in Dibble, and began a family operation of raising chickens, delivering them to customers along his old milk route in Oklahoma City.
Hazel Webb became a pastor’s wife when Sherman became a preacher and organized the first Freewill Baptist Church in Lindsey.
The couple pastored churches in Lindsey, Wewoka, Calvin, Stigler, Hanna, Tulsa, and Wetumka, and then retired to Seminole.
After Sherman died, Hazel moved to Pauls Valley where she lived close to a granddaughter, and then moved to McAlester, near her son.
Webb is survived by her son, Robert Webb, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Born April 04, 1977 in Shawnee, to Robert Wood and Jean (Hoskinson)Orrell. Webster died Aug. 14, at the age of 31 years in Oklahoma City.
She graduated from Strothers High School in 1995 and worked at Pioneer Nursing Home as a CNA.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, and stepfather Jim Orrell.
She leaves behind her two children Shelby and Wesley Webster, and Mother Jean Orrell, all of Seminole, Father Robert Wood, of Sasakwa, Brothers; Robert Wood Jr, Maud, Steven Wood, Maud, Sister, Julie Wood, Yukon Brother, and Wesley Roulston, Madill,
Pallbearers are Clifton Coody, Steve Wood, George Horn, James Conger, Brent Hoskison, and Larry Harjo.

Kay West
Kay Sharron (Shaw) West, age 62, died on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Midwest City Regional Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 15, at 10a.m., at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, in Konawa.
Kay was born to Ellis Horace Shaw and Anna Vee (Hale) Shaw on Oct. 5, 1945, in Konawa. She married William "Bill" West on June 22, 1980, in Seminole. She was a beautician and resided in Seminole County all of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Bill West of the home; three sons, Mark Shaw of Konawa, Bill Frankovich of Asher, and Shawn Spencer of Ada; one daughter, Julia Baldridge of Little Axe; two sisters, Paula Gallagher of Konawa and Loretta Branscum of Duncan; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, William Frankovich and "Rusty" Spencer; and one sister, Annie Taylor.
Debbie Wheeler
Funeral services for lifelong Konawa resident Debra Sue "Debbie" Wheeler are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa with Pastor Pam Shirk officiating.
Interment is to follow at Vamoosa Cemetery with services under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Debbie passes away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 at Unity North Health Center in Shawnee at the age of 48. She was born Aug. 30, 1959 in Seminole County to Betty (Howard) Johnson and Dallas Johnson.
She worked as a sewing operator at Jobri LLC in Konawa.
Her mother, Betty Johnson; brother, Stanley Hill; and grandson, Devan Willis, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Johnny Wheeler of the home; stepfather, Dallas Johnson of Seminole; one son, Ronnie Walker and his wife Genny; two daughters, Stacy Walker and Steve Willis of Konawa and Angela Wheeler and Terrance Johnson of Ada; 14 grandchildren and a host of other family & friends.
Serving as casket bearers will be Steve Willis, Terrance Johnson, Dakota Walker, Elmer Wheeler, Tim West and Sammy Wheeler.
Honorary bearers will be Willie Walker, Ricky Walker and Dustin Walker.

Wheeler, the three-month-old infant daughter of Samuel Eugene Wheeler Jr., Crystal Lynn (Erb) Wheeler of Seminole died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Seminole Medical Center. She was born Dec. 30, 2007 in Shawnee.
Her great-grandmothers, Lina Harjo and Fannie Harjo, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her parents; three brother: Gage Erb of the home, Chula and Jamie Wheeler of Ben Wheeler, Texas; three sisters: Nelsey, Mya and Erin Wheeler of Seminole; grandparents: Bill and Donna Renton of Seminole, Sam and Dianne Wheeler of Konawa, and Richard Erb of Cailfornia.
Pallbearers will be: Kevin Fixico and Richard Erb. Honorary bearers will be: Bill "Ponch" Haynes and Lucian Wheeler.
