Services for Jessie Alexander Worley, of Wewoka, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, in Wewoka. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, in Wewoka.
Worley died Dec. 4, at his residence, in Wewoka, at the age of 88.
He was born Jan. 1, 1920, in Sasakwa, to Jim Worley and Myrtle Cleveland Worley. He married Janie in San Antonio, Texas.
He worked as an oil well pumper for Bill Weems Oil Company, in Seminole, retiring from there after many years of service with them. He was a member of the Church of Christ, in Wewoka.
He also fished, brush hogged, cut wood, cleaned up places, and hunted raccoons.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary Jane Worley Cullifer, of S.C. Mischelle Miller, of Wewoka, and Theresa Vermeal, of Miss; two sons, Daniel and Ralph Dianda, both of Calif.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janie Worley and his parents: Jim and Mrytle Worley.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Miller, Zeeke Cullifer, Johnny Gloston, and Art Garner.
Honorary Pallbearers are Mickey McGuire and Millard Reich.

Bernice Wright
Bernice Quillen Wright, 84, passed from this life Nov. 11, 2008.
She was born to Roy Norman Quillen and Pearl (Bryant) Quillen on Nov. 7, 1924, in Dryden, Va.
In 1942, Bernice worked on the K25 of the Manhattan Project in Oakridge, Tenn., something she was very proud of.
She came to Oklahoma in 1973 with four kids in tow, taking whatever jobs necessary to support her children.
In 1977, she and the kids moved to Stratford, where she worked in the sewing factory until 1985, when they moved to Shawnee.
Bernice was an excellent cook, which didn’t go unrecognized.
One year she was asked to cook Thanksgiving Dinner and all the fixings for Mobile Chemical; she fixed the whole dinner herself.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roy Norman Quillen Jr., and Ted Quillen; two infant daughters; and grandson Mark Edwards. She is survived by three sisters, Vada Rivers and Freda Thomas of Dryden, Va., and Jewel Parsons of Pennington Gap, Va.; brother, Billy Quillen of Kingsport, Tenn.; son Larry Ray Thacker Sr. of Seminole; daughter Donna Stewart and husband Rick of Shawnee; daughter Kathy Addington and husband Berl of Noble; son Ricky Wright & wife Christine of Shawnee; daughter Connie Wright and life partner Lynne "Taz" Raichel of the home; grandkids, Larry Ray Thacker Jr. "Pug" of Charlotte, N.C., Misty Johnson and husband Chris of Honolulu, Hawaii; Kimberly Peery and husband Chris of Bethel Acres, April Dawn Stewart of Shawnee, Jennifer Lance and José Caballero of Oklahoma City, Dacota Dale Wright of Shawnee, and Cori Ann Wright of Shawnee; great-grandkids, Dillon and Patrick Edwards and Landon Peery of Bethel Acres, Taylor, Damion and Adrian Stewart of Shawnee, Nicholas and Landon Thacker of Charlotte, N.C.
Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at Resthaven Funeral Home, Shawnee.
Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at First Christian Church of Shawnee with Rev Janet Peery officiating.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Shawnee.
Emma Wright
Funeral Services for former Seminole resident Emma Martha Lee Wright will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Gaines officiating.
Interment will follow at the Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, and are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
Family will greet friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Wright died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 in Norman at the age of 85.
She was born Feb. 3, 1923, to the late G. C. and Minnie (Hollins) Cook in Camp County, Pittsburg, Texas.
She was the sixth of seven children, all deceased.
She attended Oakridge School near Sasakwa (Little River) and moved to Seminole, Oklahoma, at an early age.
Wright was a fantastic cook and kept herself occupied with work and raising her children.
She was a founder and member of Community Missionary Baptist Church in Norman.
She moved from Seminole, in 1965, to Norman.
Wright worked for Dr. Thomas and Margaret Thurston for 45 years, until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis Releford and two sons, Wilmer and Sonny.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Davis, Minnie McCorvey, and Janice Bandy, all of Norman; two sons, Thomas Allen of Oklahoma City, and James (Butch) Gordon, of Norman; 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lee Wyatt
Lee Wyatt, beloved Dad, Grandpa and Uncle passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, at his home in Choctaw, at the age of 89.
He was a former longtime Seminole area resident.
Lee moved to Choctaw in 2006 to be near his family.
Lee was born March 24, 1919, in Belmont, to Milliage and Pearl (Thomas) Wyatt.
Lee was a retired farmer, rancher, carpenter, furniture restorer and antique dealer he and his first wife Viola, made their home on the farm Southwest of Prague.
Lee farmed peanuts and raised cattle.
After Viola’s death in 1968, Lee continued to farm and in 1972 married Rella June Cawdell. His retirement from farming came in the early 80’s.
He and Rella built a home northeast of Seminole, living there until Rella’s death in 2006.
Lee was active in community affairs all his life and was a member of the Seminole Church of Christ.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Viola Eulene (Lacquement) Wyatt; Rella June (Cawdell) Wyatt; sister, Gladys Wyatt; and four brothers, Jack, Forrest, Clyde and Leslie Wyatt.
Lee is survived by daughters, Delores Flowers and her husband Jon Flowers, of Shawnee, Jeannie and Hugh Wynn, of Choctaw, and Jann White, of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Kari Lei and Jeff Davids, of Charleston, SC, David Flowers, of Shawnee, Stephen and Amy Romberg, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Bryon Lee White, of Oklahoma City, Jarrad Romberg, of Shawnee, and Kierston White, of Italy; great grandchildren, Jack and Grant Romberg and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is also survived by Doris Hubbard the caregiver in the home and the nurses of Quality Care Hospice of Choctaw, whom he grew very fond of, Linda, Rob, Diane, C.J., Annette and all the staff of Quality Care Hospice.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Burton Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery, in Prague.
Pallbearers will be his nephews, Bob Wyatt, Carl Wyatt, Elmer (Slim) Wyatt, Harold (Brub) Wyatt, Ronnie Wyatt and Larry Ernst.
The casket will be open until 10:45 a.m. and not re-opened after the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Quality Care Hospice, 921 S. Sooner Road, Del City, Oklahoma 73110-2041, in Lee’s name.
Howard Yancey
Graveside services for longtime Seminole resident Howard Lonzo Yancey Jr. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Maple Grove Cemetery with Dr. Carol Hopper officiating.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Howard, 82, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home.
He was born Sept. 15, 1925 in Seminole to Richard Lonzo (Lon) and Lillie Lorene (Ross) Yancey.
Howard was retired from the Seminole oil fields, where he was a truck driver for Bariod Oil Services for many years.
Howard is survived by seven daughters and their spouses: Dolly Kelough of Salina, Okla., Margaret McNeill of Seminole, Shirley Castle and her husband Kenneth of Seminole, Judy Roberts and her husband Jerry Al Roberts of Seminole, Lillie Davidson and her husband Darryl of Alamo, Texas, Dorothy Marlow and husband Leon of Wolf, and Patricia Whitham and husband John of Oklahoma City.
He is also survived by son-in-law, Buddy Gore and daughter-in-law, Angie Yancey; stepdaughters: Teresa Brown of Shawnee and Trina Self of Seminole; stepson, Jamie Self; his ex-wife, Ruth Yancey; five brothers: Clint "Sonny" and wife Linda Yancey of Seminole, Vernon Yancey and his wife Mildren, Carl (Bo) Yancey and his wife Winnie, Don Yancey, and Bobby Yancey, all of Seminole; two sisters: Juanita Frazier of Bowlegs and Mary Allen and her husband Wayne Allen of Wewoka; 30 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The mother of his children, Laura (Brown) Yancey; his parents; three sisters: Katerine Kay, Patricia Yancey, and Helen Earles; one son, Howard Lee Yancey; four daughters: Betty Lozer, Sheila Gore, Linda Yancey, and Deloris Yancey; one grandson, Howard Lee Yancey Jr.; and one great-grandson, Kenneth Colvin preceded him in death.
Casket bearers will be: Jerry Roberts, Darryl Odom, Chester Phillips, Buddy Gore, David Colvin and David Rayne.
Honorary bearers will be: Ron Gould, Sugar Evert, Jake Dorrough, Ben Berry, George Lozer, Mike White and John King.
