Lenora Christine Gutierrez, age 36 departed this life on Monday, February 1st, 2016 in Wewoka, OK. Born February 16, 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Les Arnold and Genell Rhea Arnold,
She was a graduate of Bethel High School and worked for IQOR Call Center as a Customer Service Agent.
Lenora and Patrick Gutierrez were married April 11, 2007 in Wewoka, OK.
Survivors include her parents, Less and Genell Arnold, of Bethel Acres, husband Patrick Gutierrez, children Ashton Ford, Aaron Ford, and Patrick Gutierrez III all of Wewoka, OK., brother Andy Arnold of Sublette, KS, sister Lori Zwermann of Bethel, OK, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Service of Remembrance will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 6, 2015 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Collyer officiating.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Seminole animal shelter.

Ronnie Golden
Ronnie Golden, age 65 of Seminole, departed this life Sunday, March 6th, 2016 in Midwest City, OK. Born December 19, 1950 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Bernie Golden and Mattie Peirson Davidson.
Ronnie was self-employed automotive painter. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church Wewoka.
Preceding Ronnie in death are his parents.
Survivors include children: Porter Golden of Norman, OK, Stephanie Golden, Ryan Golden, Brent Golden, Zachary Golden all of Wewoka, OK and Elizabeth Golden of Norman, OK; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2016 at Macedonia Baptist Church, Wewoka, with Rev. Larkin Byrd officiating and burial to follow at Westwood Cemetery.

Beuna Glenn
The funeral for Beuna Verlene (Bigham) Glenn, will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Morris Memorial Baptist Church in Ada, OK with Bro. James Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Swan Hill Cemetery.

Beuna was born April 24, 1927 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Charley and Lela (Suttle) Bigham and passed away January 18, 2016 in Enid. She was raised in Fittstown, Oklahoma where she attended McLish High School. Beuna married Floyd Alfred Glenn on April 2, 1944.
She was an active member in First Baptist Church, Seminole, Oklahoma, First Baptist Church, Seminole, Texas and First Baptist Church, Durant, OK. Active on many church committees, she was very proud of creating Worship Banners – mostly for First Baptist Church, Durant.
Beuna was an accomplished seamstress, fashioning clothing for the family and many clients. When her business changed direction to become "Beuna’s Drapery", she decorated homes throughout Oklahoma, west Texas, New Mexico and Colorado.
Beuna is survived by her daughters, Linda Hutto; Shirley and husband Jim Suttle; granddaughters, Amber, Dalaina and husband Ross, Angie and husband Andy; four great-grandchildren, CJ, Alexis, Jack and Oliver; sister Sue Aday and numerous other family members and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alfred, and one brother, Charles.
Charley Gilbert Jr.
Charley James Gilbert, Jr., 75, lifelong Seminole county resident, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Charley was born October 12, 1940 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, to Charley Gilbert Sr. and Eva Lee (Sandrige) Gilbert.
Charley served his country in the U.S. Army as a sergeant from 1961 to 1967. He was a certified auto body technician for Fred Jones Ford in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for many years where he had earned the top service award for two consecutive years.
He was a member of the Ethiopian Reformed Coptic Church of Christ, east of Seminole in the Nobletown area, where he served as General Bishop.
He was married to Claudia Ann Stephens Gilbert on November 15, 1959 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife Claudia Ann Gilbert of Wewoka, Oklahoma; son Billy W. Stephens and his wife Adella of Wewoka, Oklahoma, his daughters, Sandra D. Doolittle and her husband Ray of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Towanda L. Phillips and her husband Robert of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Rhonda Gilbert- Stovall and her husband Derick of Chesapeake, Virginia and Kelley V. Gilbert of Wewoka, a brother Clavis Gilbert and his wife LaRue of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and a sister Lena M. Ingram of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
Graveside services are planned for 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 15, 2016, at the Machpelah Cemetery (8.2 miles east of Seminole on highway # 9 and south 3 tenths of a mile) with Roy M. Stephens and Claud Stephens, Jr. officiating.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
Ronald Garrison
Ronald Allen Garrison, of Dallas, Texas, son of Robert and Saundra Garrison, of Seminole, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Dallas. Ron was born on April 16, 1966 in Broken Arrow and was a dialysis patient for 10 years.
A memorial service is set for Saturday, April 9th at the Chapel at Little Cemetery.
Ron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Mary Garrison, Chester and Ruby Baker; uncles, Wayne Baker, Johnny Baker and Benny Smith; aunts, Suzanne Polson and Morna Baker.
He is survived by his parents, his brother Robert Wayne Garrison, of Woodstock, Ga.; his aunt Linda Smith, of Shawnee and uncle Norman Polson, of Independence, Kans. and a nephew Marine Sgt. Robert William Garrison, of Camp Pendleton, Calif.
Cremation was conducted by A. Cremation of Mesquite, Texas.
Bob Franklin
The Greatest Generation lost one of its own when Robert Leonard (Bob) Franklin made his transition on May 13, 2016. Bob was born April 30, 1925 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
The son of Leonard (Frank) and Alma Franklin, he had two sisters, Irene and Loretta. Bob was moved with the family at the age of four to Seminole where he grew up, graduating from Seminole High School in 1943. He was concerned that he might be drafted to serve in World War II before graduation since he wanted to get his diploma before enlisting in the Army Air Corps.
He did get to graduate and by 1944 found himself with the 8th Air Force in Attlebridge, England. Bob was a B-24 navigator and had flown 32 missions at the age of 19. He was injured once, was awarded a Certificate of Valor, earned five Air Medals and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant. His last mission was April 16, 1945, about two weeks before his 20th birthday.
After separation from the service with a Reserve Commission, he entered Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University) where he was a member of Kappa Sig fraternity. He was recalled to active duty in 1947 and became First Lieutenant during his second tour of duty. Discharged in 1953, Bob completed his degree in history and government at the University of Oklahoma in 1955.
He worked in the Defense Mapping Agency Aerospace Center in St. Louis, Missouri until retirement. While there he became an accomplished artist, specializing in portraiture. Bob was also an avid golfer.
Bob is survived by his sister Loretta Franklin Jones, a niece Tracey Elizabeth Harris, a nephew John (Mack) Harris, Jr. a grand niece Megan Harris, and the love of his life, Janet Sherrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister August Irene Sherrod.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Walker Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kris Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole. Mabel Faulkner
Mabel Marie Faulkner, 86, passed from this earthly life on Sunday, February 7, 2016, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dewey Lee Faulkner.
Left to cherish her memory are; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Melissa Faulkner of Hooker, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Vera and Don Hale of Eufaula, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Jim Storts of Knoxville, Tennessee; special sister-in-law, Virginia Griffith and husband Bob, of Seminole, Oklahoma; her 10 grandchildren; Dana Faulkner of Spearman, Texas, Allyssa Gutierrez of Hooker, Oklahoma, Jonathan Faulkner of Guymon, Oklahoma, Joshua and Andrew Faulkner of Alva, Oklahoma, Donnie Hale of Maud, Oklahoma, Tina Tanyan of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jason Storts, Tammy Lopez and Tonya Toth all of Knoxville, Tennessee, 16 great-grandchildren; Mariah Mitchell, Zach Saylor, Roman Rodriguez, Emily and Jonathan Gutierrez, Tyler Johnson, Amanda Smith, Alex and Caleb Storts, Dominic and Manny Lopez, Ethan, Anna, Caroline, Nicholas and Lydia Toth and 11 great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
Mabel’s life was completely changed in 1952. Dewey’s aunt, Zelma May Daniels, invited her to a service at the Church of God, in Maud, Oklahoma, where she gave her life to God and became a new creature in Christ Jesus. Pastor Dan Kasper was her faithful pastor for nine years in Maud, where she loved worshipping with her precious church family.
The last two years of Mabel’s life were lived and enjoyed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in the loving care of her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Jim. Pastor Robin Thames was her faithful pastor in Knoxville, where she enjoyed worshipping with the people of God, just as she had in Maud, the 61 years she was there.
Mabel always had a smile for a friend and stranger alike. She was a woman of great faith in God. Her love for others was clearly seen in all she did.
A celebration of Mabel’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M., February 13, 2016, at the Church of God, in Maud, Oklahoma at the corner of Highway 9A and Main Street. The family will greet friends and church members at 9:15 A.M., Saturday at the Church of God. Private family burial services will follow at Cummings cemetery in Maud.
In Lieu of flowers, Mabel asked that donations be made in memory of her to the Church of God Building Fund, sent to Pastor Dan Kasper, P.O. Box 190, Maud, Oklahoma, 74854.

Willie Fair
Willie Bernard Fair departed this life October 15, 2015 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 54 years.
Born January 8th, 1961 in Oklahoma City to the late Willie Fair and Martha Ann Roberts. He was a graduate of Wewoka High School.
He enlisted with the US Army November 30, 1984 and served until February 2, 1987. After that he made his home in Tulsa, OK and worked as a warehouse worker.
Preceding Willie in death are his parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include his sister Deborah Bert of Spencer, OK; four brothers Gerald Roberts of Lexington, OK, Steven Sandridge of Los Angels, CA, Leon Jackson of Atoka, OK, and Tryrone Fair of Shawnee, OK: two aunts Ms Curly Ann Lewis of Midwest City, and Nellie Mae Myers of Oklahoma City; one uncle Carnell Fair of Wewoka, OK and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Saturday February 20, 2016 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Guient officiating. Internment at Westwood Cemetery under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home.
Berni Ensminger
Bernice "Berni" Virginia Ensminger, of Hugo, OK, passed away January 8, 2016, in Paris, TX. Berni was born on July 14, 1936, to Oscar Warner Sheppard and Canzadie "Sadie" (Woolever) Sheppard at the Dixie Lease in Seminole County, OK.
She grew up in Wewoka, OK and Fresno, California where she graduated from the West Coast Bible School Junior College. She also lived in the Bay Area in California and worked in retail store decoration in San Francisco before returning to Oklahoma.
She married George Donald Ensminger Sr. on July 7, 1958, in Wewoka, shortly after George’s graduation from Oklahoma A&M College (now Oklahoma State University). They later lived in Ada, OK prior to their move to Hugo in 1970.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at the Springs Chapel Cemetery.
Berni was very talented in the arts. She was a skilled interior designer, oil painter, photographer, and writer. She wrote short stories, poetry, and music and had several articles published.
She was the founding president of the Little Dixie Art Association and coordinated the art show at the Choctaw County Fair for several years in the 70’s. She was a member of the Southeast Oklahoma Art Guild and a chairwoman for the Oklahoma Arts and Humanities.
Berni spent many summers in Taos, NM, studying oil painting with artist Tico Mascarenas and collaborating with other artists in that art community, including the late R. C. Gorman, the internationally recognized Native American artist.
She enjoyed the Taos community, establishing relationships with not only local artists but also the Indian dancers of Taos Pueblo. On summer evenings at the Pueblo-owned Kachina Lodge, Berni could be found assisting the child dancers in adjusting their authentic tribal costumes prior to dance performances. Berni enjoyed and loved Taos so much that she considered it her ‘second’ home.
Berni had a beautiful singing voice and played the piano, organ, guitar, and accordion. As a 10-year old, she sang on the KSMI radio station in Seminole, OK. In the 1960’s, she sang on several television shows in the Ada, OK market and as a featured country vocalist at rodeo events. At various times, she sang in gospel choirs in California and with the 1000 member voice choir for Benny Hinn Ministries in Tulsa and Houston. She loved classic country, gospel, and Broadway music, including her favorite musical "Camelot".
During Berni’s work career, she worked in retail merchandising as a buyer for Sears and Wal-Mart and spent several years in the insurance industry with the Walter White Insurance Agency and later Farm Bureau. She and her husband George owned and operated the Olde Postlight Antique Shop in downtown Hugo in the late 90’s.
Berni loved working in her yard. She enjoyed collecting angel and Santa Claus figurines, blue and white porcelain, and flow blue glassware. She loved to travel, visit flea markets and antique stores, shop, and watch any old or new western movies. She was a fan of Oklahoma State University sports and activities as several family members attended the university at one time or another.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George, her sister, Beatrice Conger, and her brothers, O. C. (Junior) Sheppard Jr and Harold Sheppard. Also, a niece, Janie Sheppard Porter; four (4) nephews: Dennis Roe, Danny Weeks, Tommy Sheppard and Eddie Sheppard; beloved brother-in-law, Ed Conger; and sister-in-law, Trina Sheppard. Waiting on her in heaven, too, is a lifetime of family pets, including but not limited to Herman the dachshund mix and her beloved poodle, Cindy.
She is survived by her son George Donald Ensminger Jr and wife Debbie Dove of Las Lunas, NM; her daughter Denise Smith and husband Gary of Boswell, OK; three (3) grandsons: Cole Smith and wife Jamie of Boswell, OK, and Dalton Smith and wife Paige of Durant OK, and Justin Dove and wife Erin of Las Vegas, NM; and several nieces and nephews, Barbara Roe of Wewoka, OK; Cindy Abernathy of McAlester, OK; Sherry McNichols of Tulsa, OK; Julie McGee and husband Mike of Laramie WY, Buck Wilson and wife Judy of McAlester, OK; Robert (Robby) Sheppard and partner John Martin of Ft. Smith, AR; Ricky Sheppard and wife Toni; and Mitch Sheppard of Denver, CO.
