Carol Marie Merwin was born Jan. 17, 1967 in Jacksonville, Ill. to Glenda Sue and Robbie Lee Lytle.
She passed away Nov. 24, 2014 at Oklahoma City at the age of 47 years.
Carol grew up in Cheyenne and also lived a short time in Wewoka.
She moved back to Cheyenne in 1986 and married Bill Merwin in 1987.
She completed nursing school in 1998 and worked several years as an LPN in and around Elk City.
Carol enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and had an extensive movie collection.
She also liked to watch the Elk City dirt track races.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her two sons, Joshua Merwin and wife, Shanna, Burns Flat, Okla. Jacob Merwin, Elk City, Okla.; daughter, Vanessa Bryant, Holdenville, Okla.; two sisters, Dawn Musick, Elk City, Okla., Barbara Burton, Winnfield, Tex; two brothers, Ashley Lytle, Mt. Pleasant, Tex., Billy Binion, Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren, Alyssa Sneed, Evan Merwin, Eric Merwin, her mother, Glenda Sue Lytle, Elk City, Okla., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Charles Myers
ADA - Services for Charles Vernon Myers, 85, Ada, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. His son-in-law Mickey Shaw will officiate.
Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Myers died Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at a Seminole care center.
He was born Dec. 23, 1929, to Charles Heber and Annie Lawson Myers at Ada.
He attended Latta schools and was a retired truck driver.
Mr. Myers was a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church.
He and Shirley Young were married June 14, 1952, at Ada. She died Jan. 13, 2014.
Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Shaw; his son, Ricky Myers; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Myers and Stanley Myers; and his sister, Velma Woods.
He was preceded in death by his brother Lloyd Myers and his nephew Evan Myers.
Bearers will be Derek Shaw, Brandon Shaw, Jade Parks, Ricky Myers, Steven Myers and Mike Myers.
Services are under the direction of Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
Willard Peercy
Willard David "Bill" Peercy was born on Aug. 1, 1945 in Wewoka, Okla. to Willard and Neely (Kymes) Peercy.
He went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2015, in Holdenville, Okla.
He was raised in the Seminole and Hughes County area and later attended Barber College graduating in 1968.
He served his country honorably in the Oklahoma National Guard as a Sergeant.
David married the love of his life, Connie Whitlock on September 9, 1966 in Wewoka.
He is preceded in death by his parents, W. M. Peercy and Neely Peercy, infant brother, paternal and maternal grandparents, brothers-in-law Dee Parker and Phil Whitlock, nephews Lance Whitlock and Ian Upchurch.
Survivors include his wife Connie of the home, daughter Vickie Pettit of Horntown, sisters Louise Parker of Midwest City, Eudena Brewer and Bobbie Rose of Holdenville, two grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 at the East Main Church of Christ in Holdenville, Okla.
Charles Kymes will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Pettit, Jon Hudson, Jerome Sherrin, Brian Brewer, Jimmy Brewer and Dennis Kymes.
Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Okla.
Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
Franklin Quinalty
Franklin C.L. "Frank" Quinalty, 70 year old, long time Oklahoma City, Okla. resident and former Seminole, Okla. resident, passed from this life on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at his home in Oklahoma City.
He was born Nov. 13, 1944 in Seminole, Okla. to parents Daniel H. Quinalty and Eris Vivian (Arthur) Quinalty.
Frank attended Seminole Schools and went on to serve in the Army National Guard 45th Division.
He married Wanda Moses on May 30, 1964 in Seminole, Okla.
The couple lived in various parts of the country before moving to Oklahoma City in 1967.
On Sept. 16, 1967 the couple welcomed their only child, a boy who they named Terry Dwayne Quinalty.
Frank worked as a body shop worker and painted cars in Oklahoma City for 35 years.
His number one hobby was restoring old cars that he could enjoy driving.
He retired from Ferguson Pontiac in Norman, Okla. He had also worked for Hammer and Dolly Body Shop.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Carla Quinalty of Oklahoma City.
One sister and brother-in-law, Judy and David Bussey of Seminole.
One grandson, Stephen and his wife Jackie Quinalty of Oklahoma City, one granddaughter, Samantha Quinalty of Oklahoma City.
One great-granddaughter, Laila Quinality of Oklahoma City and a host of other family and dear friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Eris Vivian (Arthur) Quinalty, by his father, Daniel H. Quinalty. His wife, Wanda (Moses) Quinalty preceded him in death on Nov. 2, 2013.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Daniel Quinalty, and by two sisters, Darlene Quinalty and Betty Coleman.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Okla.
Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole County, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating the service.

Darlene Robertson
Darlene (Johnston) Robertson, 69 year old, Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed from this life on Monday, January 19, 2015 at her home. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Wolf Cemetery south of Seminole. Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Jamie Sumpter
Jamie L. Sumpter, age 59 and resident of Claremore, Okla., passed away in Tulsa on Monday evening.
Jamie Louann Emarthle was born Feb. 13, 1955 in Wewoka, Okla.
She was the daughter of James Emarthle and Flora (McGirt) Emarthle.
Jamie formerly lived in the Bartlesville area for approximately one year in 1978 before moving to Claremore where she had continued her residence to her death.
Jamie and Michael Sumpter were united in marriage on April 13, 1986 in Tulsa, Okla.
She was a home health aide before her health forced her retirement.
Jamie was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Claremore where she also worked as the church custodian.
Survivors include her husband, Michael of the family home; sons, James Sumpter of Claremore and Matt Sumpter, also of Claremore; one granddaughter; brother, Richard Emarthle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret and brother, Benjamin.
Services were held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home chapel.
Interment followed the service in the Falleaf Cemetery, Copan.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
Michael Tenney
Michael Owen Tenney, age 62 and a resident of Konawa, Okla., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015 at Solara Hospital of Shawnee.
No memorial service is scheduled at this time and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Michael was born on June 18, 1952 in Bakersfield, Calif. to James Ned Tenney and Wanda (Tate) Tenney.
Michael served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant in Vietnam, and he worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City.
Michael was a long-time police officer for the Konawa, Ada, Stonewall area and for the Rush Springs and Wanette areas.
He was a police officer for twenty-three years. Michael was a member for the Masonic Lodge of Ada.
He married Laura Ann Vincent on Dec. 7, 1985 in Shawnee, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Ann Tenney of the home; two sons, James Tenney of Ada, Okla. and Mike Tenney; 2 daughters, Teresa M Wolfe of Arizona and Laurie Real of Konawa; one sister, Claire Tryon of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Wanda Tenney; and three brothers, John Tenney, James Ned Tenney, Jr., and James O’Brien.
Freddie White
Freddie "Fred" Leon White, 75, of Tecumseh, Okla. passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 in Tecumseh.
He was born on August 14, 1939 to Alfred Ford and Lucille (Burgess) White in Smithville, Okla.
Fred grew up around St. Louis and Seminole, Okla.
He attended St. Louis Public Schools.
After marriage he moved to Tecumseh where he has resided since.
He married Judith "Judee" Gail Seaton on June 5, 1971 in Parris, Texas.
Fred proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from May 6, 1957 to Feb. 19, 1960 and was honorably discharged.
He drove a truck most of his life and owned his own trucking company. After retiring he helped his wife, Judee at TNT Tan & Tone in Seminole. He worked the last few years worked in maintenance at the Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh.
Fred was a member of the Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh
He was preceded in death by his son, Mark White; his parents, Alfred and Lucille White; 3 sisters, Bettie Rosamond-Wilson, Yuvonna Joyce Massingale and Theda Dressel; and brother, Alfred "Junior" White.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, of 43½ years, Judee White of the home; son, Don White of Tecumseh; Teana Smith of Shawnee; seven grandchildren, ; one great-grandchild and two brothers, Roger White and Terry White.
Visitation will begin 12:00 noon, Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 and continue through service time.
Family gathering to meet with friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 at Cooper Funeral Home.
Service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Doyle Loveland officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
