Alice Elane Orr, 84, Altus, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at her home.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Highland Cemetery in Okemah, Okla.
Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Alice was born on Febr. 15, 1931 in Weleetka, Okla. to Vernon Wesley and Anna Laura (Gibson) Lemons.
She was the oldest of eight kids.
She grew up in the Wewoka, Okla. area and graduated from Butner High School in 1950.
She worked as an assistant manager for the S & H Green Stamp store in Altus for many years.
After that, she worked for the Social Security office and the Altus Senior Citizens Center.
Alice was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Her parents, a brother, Dale Lemons, and two sisters, Lois Streater and Dorothy Turner, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Valdez of Altus, Okla., and Robin Schubert of Valdosta, Ga.; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Bicknell of Wewoka, Okla. and Peggy Lemons of Smyrna, Ga; two brothers, Winford Lemons of McLoud, Okla. and Jerry Lemons of Wewoka, Okla.; and numerous other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will meet at the Mission Home Baptist Church North of Wewoka on Wednesday, April 1 at 10 a.m., and lunch will be served around 11:30.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Television Ministry.
Shirley Osborn
Funeral service for Shirley Osborn of Holdenville will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at the First Free Will Baptist Church of Holdenville.
Mason Leftwich will officiate with David Pope assisting. Burial will follow at the Wetumka Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Okla.
Shirley Faye May was born on Nov. 16, 1935 in Wetumka to Andrew Jackson May and Flossie (Pruitt).
She attended Wetumka Public Schools.
She married Charlie Osborn 61 years ago in Wetumka.
Shirley was baptized in 1973 at the Church of Christ in Tecumseh.
Mrs. Osborn was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Devoe Maye in 1995; Roger Eugene May in 2003 and sister, Barbara Whittern in 1999; and her grandson Tony Houck in 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Osborn, of the home; children Sharla (Tommy) Hughes of Holdenville, Sandy (John) Garner of Holdenville, Sherry (Mark) Neese of Edmond; 11grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way), 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Jerry May, Claremore; sisters, Obie Osborn, Wetumka, Claudetta (Bob) Tapley, Texas, Judy Collier, Wewoka, Janie (Wayne) Mize, Earlsboro, and Ladonna (Jim) Nutter, Jeanie (Gerald) Jones, and Mary (Ronald) Brawdy, all of Seminole.
Casket bearers will be Jeff Garner, Branden Garner, Colby Bowen, Scott Black, Scotty Bowen, and Marcus Neese.
Honorary bearers will be Derek Neese, Garrett Neese, and Mikeal Garner.
Ivory Overstreet
Ivory Overstreet Jr., 67 year old lifelong Lima, Okla. resident passed from this life on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.
He was the fifth child born to parents Ivory Overstreet, Sr. and Carrie (Johnson) Overstreet on Oct. 16, 1947 in Lima, Okla.
Ivory graduated from Lima High School in 1965, where he excelled in Basketball.
Following high school he moved to Washington D.C. for many years before returning to his home town.
Ivory and his wife Francine Overstreet lived in Lima until her passing in 2009.
Ivory worked as a welder for many years.
Ivory leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Cheryl and her husband James Harris of Oklahoma City, and Stephine Johnson of Washington D.C.; three grandsons; two special aunts, Annie Lee Johnson and Marie Overstreet both of Lima, Okla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ivory is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and seven siblings.
Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Okla.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Lima Senior Citizens Building with Rev. Frank Washington officiating.

Tommy Parsons
Tommy Ray Parsons, 80, passed away April 10, 2015.
Services for Tommy will be 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Piedmont First United Methodist Church with interment following at Chapel Hill Memory Gardens.
Jennifer Parsons
Jenifer Susan Parsons, age 42, of Cushing, died March 14th, 2015, at Cushing Regional Hospital.
Jeni was born in the Cushing Hospital on Nov. 21, 1972. She attended Seminole public schools.
She was a state champion in track and graduated valedictorian of her class.
After graduation, she attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in public relations.
After collage, Jeni worked in Norman for a while and then moved to California, where she lived for 10 years.
She lived in Florida briefly before returning to Oklahoma.
On her return, she worked at A-Z Property Management, and spent much of her time following her nephew’s activities.
Jeni loved the arts. She loved music, painting, and most of all she loved to read.
She enjoyed working, spending time with her family and her animals, and playing golf.
Jeni was survived in death by her mother and father of Cushing, Bill and Sue Parsons; her sister and brother-in-law, Russell and Chandra Moyer; her nephews, Wil and Sam Moyer; and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cushing with Travis Gates of Shawnee officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing.
Because of Jeni’s love for reading, the family would like memorial contributions to be given to the Cushing Public Library, 215 N. Steele Cushing, Okla. 74023.

Booker Perry
Booker Thomas Perry, 53, died at Golden Living Center in Madison, S.D. on Jan. 25, 2015.
He was born Sept. 16, 1961 in Seminole, Okkla. to Booker and Betty (Beard) Perry.
He grew up in Oklahoma where he graduated from high school.
He served in U.S. Army, and after teh service, he attended Dakota Wesley University in Mitchell.
He worked in various manufacturing plants in Mitchell and Madison before he became disabled.
He is survived by one son, LaMonte Stock-Perry of Huron, one stepson, LeRoy Pittman of Gaylord, Minn., five stepdaughters, Diamond, Deyona and Danielle Little and Delecia and Jersahm Maisonet all of Huron, one brother, Ted Perry of Denver, Colo., and one sister, Charlotte Davis of Montgomery, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at Weiland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Bundy officiating.
Burial will be with military honors and will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will occur one hour before services at teh Weiland Funeral Chapel, which is in charge of the arrangements.
Marjorie Pierce
Marjorie Belle Pierce, 82, of Warrensburg, Mo., died Sunday, March 22, at Ridgecrest Nursing Center in Warrensburg, Mo.
Visitation services were from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Warrensburg, Mo.
Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Basye officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brad Hunter, Keith Fenwick, Ryan Fenwick, Steve Arnold, Brett Hieronymus, Ed Phillips, Scott Maple and Mike Magee. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Arnold.
Interment will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery in Hutchinson, Kans.
She was born July 19, 1932, in Wewoka, Okla., the daughter of Jack and Hortense (Rankin) Smith.
Marjorie was a graduate of Hutchinson High School in Hutchinson, Kans.
She then attended and received both bachelors and masters degrees from University of Kansas.
Marjorie was a homemaker and mother until 1983 and then began teaching high school English and Drama at Knob Noster High School until she retired in 2007 after 24 years.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Warrensburg, Mo.
Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Kirsten Fenwick and husband Keith of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; and Tori Hunter and husband Brad of Warrensburg, Missouri; one sister, Margueriette Perfette of Newton, Kans., three grandchildren, Christian Fenwick of Kansas City, Missouri; Ashley Fenwick and Ryan Fenwick both of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and one cousin, Jim Arnold of Oilton, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ben Smith.

Carmen Pittenridge
Carmen Leatha (Surber) Pittenridge, age 64 and a resident of Asher, Okla., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at her home.
A private family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Okla.
Carmen was born on January 12, 1951 in Chickasha, Okla. to Raymond Surber and Juanita (McKinney) Surber. She married Bill Pittenridge on March 1, 1991 in Bridge Creek, Okla.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Pittenridge of the home; one son, Michael Griffin of Georgia; one daughter, Dulsa Maloney of Calif.; two brothers, John Surber of Chickasha, Okla., and Frank Surber of Moore, Oklahoma; three sisters, Donna Barker of Chickasha, Okla., Deanna Carter of Washington, Okla., and Betty Gregory of Ninnekaw, Okla.; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
