Dale Williams was surrounded by family, friends and his loving wife Dorthy and his little buddy, Peanut when he loosed the chains of earth and entered heaven praising his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ on April 13, 2015.
He was born to Grace and Oren Williams on Sept. 28, 1930 in Oil City, Okla.
He graduated from Fox High School.
He married a little barefoot blonde, Dorthy Jean Jordan on Sept. 2, 1950.
He was a lifelong oilman beginning around the Healdton area, later working offshore in La., and returned to the St. Louis area in 1969.
He lived on his own land with cattle, oil wells and his wife and family.
This was a lifelong dream of his.
He accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of 13.
His decision began a beautiful journey through life which included working in the mission fields of Louisiana and serving as a deacon in Louisiana missions and here in Oklahoma.
He taught Bible studies to many people and shared Jesus with everyone he met.
There was rejoicing in Heaven when he entered because many of his friends are there because he shared his life with them.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Jean Williams of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Glenna Rene and Tom Jackson of Maud, Okla.; son and daughter-in-law, Glen Dale and LaVeon Williams of Maud, Okla.; and daughter and son-in-law Billie and Ken Lowrie of Denton, Tex.; Grandchildren Bart and Jamie Jackson and great-grandson Jace of Norman, Okla.; Charessa and Jonathan Svec and great grands Alyssa, Aubrianna and Bryce of Elgin, Okla.; Joshua and Megan Williams and great grands Jackson Dale and Jules of Tecumseh, Okla.; Jordan and LaRae LaBouff and granddog, Chip of Hampden, ME and the Texas great grands Timothy, Austin and Faith Ann and the Missouri great grands Brooklyn, Madeline and Logan and Christopher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Louise Peard and Lucille Bennett, his brother Leon Williams, grandson Tyge Dale Jackson and great grandson Jude Robert Jackson.
The life of Dale Williams will be celebrated at 11:00 on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, Okla., where Dale served as a Deacon for many years.
Bro. Butch Bradley will be officiating the service.
Interment will follow at Collins Cemetery located in Saint Louis.
The family has requested that donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Falls Creek or Children’s Camp Fund in Memory of Dale Williams at P.O. Box 177, Maud, Oklahoma 74854.
Visitation will be at Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
Carol Williamson
Carol Ann Williamson, age 69 and a resident of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at her son’s home in Asher, Okla.
A memorial service will be at the home of Stanley Cannon in Asher, Okla. on Thurs. Feb. 5, 2015 at 5:00 p.m., and is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Okla.
Carol was born on March 22, 1945 to Mary Juanita (Rand) and Jesse Viau in Antioch, Calif.
She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Konawa.
She is survived by her son, Stanley Cannon of Asher, Oklahoma; her daughter, Kim Daniels of Morris, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Curtis Wilson Jr.
Curtis Wilson, Jr., age 52 passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his home in Oklahoma City.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Okla.
Rev. Roy Robertson will officiate.
Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Seminole.
Pallbearers are Butch Courtney, Michael Wilson, and Travis Courtney.
Curtis was born in Oklahoma City to Curtis D. Wilson, Sr. and Wanda Gay (Beaver) Wilson.
After receiving his G.E.D., he worked as a warehouseman for a thrift store.
He is survived by his father, Curtis D. Wilson, Sr.; two sisters, Elizabeth Tooker of Mustang, Okla. and Annette (Wilson) Courtney of Norman, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Gay (Beaver) Wilson; grandparents, Carrie and Noah Wilson, and Daniel and Bettie Beaver; stepmother, Betty Wilson, and three aunts and three uncles.
Funeral services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Okla.
Sharon Withers
Sharon Ann Withers, 66, Seminole resident died, Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at her home in Seminole.
Sharon was born March 21, 1948 in Sentinel, Okla. to Velma Mae (Rochelle) and Eldon Blaine Radford.
Sharon was a homemaker, had worked for Wrangler for eight years and was a certified nail tech at Classy Cut’s in Prague, Okla.
She had moved to the Seminole area 45 years ago from Texas, and was a member of the Ideal Street Baptist Church.
Sharon married Jerry W. Withers on Aug. 27, 1965 in Weleetka, Okla.
She is survived by her husband Jerry W. Withers of the home, two sons Clinton Withers of San Antonio, Tex. and Jon Withers of Seminole, Okla., her daughter Jerri LeaAnn Tyler of Konawa, Okla., two brothers Jim Radford of Seminole, Okla. and Mike Radford of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, three sisters Mary Eldred of Sulphur, Okla., Gail Eddington of Moore, Okla. and Lana Barton of Sulphur, Okla., eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by Debbie Gribble.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m.., Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at the Highway Baptist Church north of Seminole, with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help with funeral services.

L.K. Wright
L.K. "Ham" Wright, 88, longtime Seminole resident, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 at his home in Seminole.
Mr. Wright was born January 9, 1927 in Clemscott, Okla. to Dorris (Braboy) and Willie B. Wright.
Mr. Wright worked for many years as a roustabout and service man for The Seminole Company, which was an oilfield service company in Seminole.
Ham attended and graduated from Asher High School.
Mr. Wright was best known to his close friends as "Ham" and "Hambo".
Ham could be seen many mornings at the Daylight Donut Shop drinking coffee and greeting friends with his longtime friend and running buddy, Sonny Miller.
They always had a corner table by the front door and loved to say hello to everyone, especially the children, and would always give the school kids a "High Five" as they left for school.
Ham loved to go fishing with Glen Braboy.
They spent many days fishing before Mr. Braboy’s death.
Ham also loved watching college sporting events.
Ham is survived by his brother, Herman Wright and his wife Ann, of Midland, Tex., sister Lois Everhart of Ontario, Calif., a sister-in-law, Gatha Wright of Tahlequah, Okla., several nieces and nephews and close friends, Charles and Betty Webster, Sonny Miller, Stan Kiker, all of Seminole, and Gene and Neta Webster, who preceded him in death.
Ham married Jeannie Lucas Wright on August 28, 1951 at the Free Will Baptist Church in Wolf, Okla., she preceded him in death on March 6, 1993.
Ham was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jeannie Wright, his son, Rickey, in 1956.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 at the Little Cemetery, north of Seminole with his nephew, Keith Braboy officiating.
A visitation was held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home.

Henry Yargee
Services for Henry Yargee, Sr., 61, of Allen are 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Levina Beaver Senior Center in Wetumka, Rev. Houston Tiger will officiate. Burial will follow at Wetumka Indian Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Yargee died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1953 in Talihina, Okla. to Phillip and Winey Scott Yargee.
Mr. Yargee was a packer with Solo Cup Company in Ada until his retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Faye Yargee of Moore; son, Henry Yargee, Jr. of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Mason, Caden, Nasstasja "TaTa", Trey, Aydnick, Keland, Natalia and Araseli "Honey"; two great grandchildren, Ana-Lissa and Haleigh; seven brothers, Tarpie Yargee, Okemah, Robert Yargee, Okemah, Jacky Yargee, Okemah, Steve Yargee, Checotah, David Yargee, Okemah, John King, Nashville, TN and Wallace Scott, Yeager; four sisters, Evelyn McLemore, Wetumka, Bessie Talamasy, Holdenville, Rovena Yargee, Holdenville, and Josie Yargee, Holdenville; his companion, Lou Yargee of Allen; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three stepbrothers, Sam Yargee, Roman Yargee and Joseph Yargee; and two step-sons, Leonard Frazier and Reubin Frazier.
Juanita Ables
Juanita E. (Cowger) Ables, 84 year-old, Seminole resident died Monday, July 13, 2009 at her home, in Seminole. She was born Oct. 10, 1924 in Byars, to Conzie Cowger and Dollie (Bratcher) Cowger.
She married Louis E. Ables on Jan. 12, 1942 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She worked as a switchboard operator and later she and her husband owned and operated "Louie’s Restaurant" in Del City. They moved to Seminole 31 years ago from Del City to become cattle ranchers.
She is survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis E. Ables; daughter, Sherrye Wade; son, Rodney Ables, and infant brother, Buddy Cowger.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2009 at Sunny Lane Cemetery, in Del City. Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate the service.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
