Mary L. Deadmond
Deadmond, Mary L. - 84, of Roseburg, passed away Monday, February 26, 2001 at a local hospital. She was born February 22, 1917 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Gordon Burleigh and Leona Zylpha (Kenison) Dow. Mary lived most of her life in Oregon. Mary and her husband Clarence built and ran the Nebo Trailer Park in Roseburg for many years. She was an active member of the Buckaroo Barn and called round and square dance for 15 years. She is survived by her son Kip Deadmond of Woodburn, OR; brother Warren Dow; sister Millie Kenyon both of Bandon, OR; sister Joanne Howard of Chula Vista, CA; numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Mary was a wonderful person and will be missed by all. At her request no services will be held. Private cremation will be held under the care of Wilson's Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home and Crematory.

IKE, Ernie - Age 80, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, passed away Monday, February 26, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Jan; his children, Bob, Sandy, Andy, Esther, Justin and Jonna; grandchildren, Wendy, Laura, Jed, Josh, Suzanne, Cassie, Alicia, Chase and Teagan; his sisters, Bessie, Helen, Margaret and Anne; wonderful friends and neighbors and his loving Lab, Ellie. A gathering for friends and family will be held Saturday, March 3, 2001, 3 p.m at Hidden Acres Ranch, Myrtle Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Center of Roseburg, Oregon.
Douglas Ray Pritchett
PRITCHETT, Douglas Ray - Age 79, a resident of Roseburg, passed away February 23, 2001 at home. He was born March 15, 1921 in Battlecreek, Michigan to parents General Douglas and Muriel Grace (Scott) Pritchett. He was united in marriage to his wife Marion who preceded his in death in 1990. Mr. Pritchett served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years as a career serviceman. After leaving the military, he worked as a private insurance investigator for 10 years before working for the Washington State Labor & Industries Dept. as a fraud investigator until his retirement. Mr. Pritchett moved to Roseburg to be near his family in 1998. He will be remembered as a family oriented man. His love for his family was evident especially when it came to his grandchildren. He also loved to play the piano and take walks with his dog "Stormey". Survivors include son Doug and wife Melodie Pritchett of Roseburg, Oregon; daughter-in-law Carol Tipler of Roseburg, Oregon; also 10 foster children that became part of his family; brother Douglas and wife Margaret Pritchett of Dunwoody, Georgia; grandchildren Diane and Robert DeHart of Winston, Oregon, Lynnette Pritchett of Roseburg, Oregon, Debbie and Scott Sexton of Roseburg, Oregon and 12 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by an infant son John Pritchett and brothers John Edward and Allen Lee Pritchett. Memorial services will be held, Friday, March 2, 2001 at 7 p.m. at Taylor's Family Chapel in Winston.
Genevieve Russell
RUSSELL, Genevieve - Age 92, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away Friday, March 9, 2001 at a local nursing home. She was born one of 10 children on December 14, 1908 in Red Lodge, Montana to George and Mary Jane (Barrett) Doran. She met her future husband when she was 16 and in Columbus, Montana on January 23, 1931 she married John William Russell. They shared 70 years of married life. Moving from Grand Ronde, Oregon January 1945, Genevieve and John moved to Roseburg. Genevieve was a Bluebird and Camp Fire Leader. She enjoyed puttering in her garden, sewing, knitting and other needlework and crafts. She loved animals. She never met a stray cat or dog that she didn't feed. Genevieve was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Roseburg. She is survived by her husband, John Russell of Roseburg, daughter, Teresa Lee Haefke of Roseburg, and grandson, Dean and wife, Jennifer Haefke of Dillard, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 12, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Clifford Beck
BECK, Clifford - 75, formally of Sutherlin passed away Saturday, March 10, 2001 in a Roseburg care center. He was born November 21, 1925 in Newport, Kentucky to Chris and Clara (Beckman) Beck. Mr. Beck served in the US Army Air Corps from April 11, 1946 until April 19, 1949 as an airplane mechanic. On November 27, 1949 in Reno, Nevada he married Gladys Garcia. Mr. Beck worked for many years in California as an auto mechanic. The Beck's moved from California to Reedsport, Oregon. The Beck's lived in Mexico during the winter months and in Reedsport during the summer. Mr. Beck enjoyed fishing and fixing things, mainly his boats. The Becks moved to Sutherlin from Reedsport in 1991 and to Roseburg in December of 2000. Survivors include his wife Gladys Beck of Roseburg; daughter Jean Freiley of Boulder Creek, California; his sister Marie Shields of Newport, Kentucky; a grandson David Stephens and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. At his request no services are being held. Private interment was held within the grounds of Valley View Cemetery in Sutherlin. Bobbie Jean Roe
ROE, Bobbie Jean - Age 67, of Sutherlin went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 11, 2001. She was born on April 8, 1933 in Albonina, OK daughter of Eva Mae Baxter and Robert Crawford. Bobbie enjoyed canning, yard sales and spending lots of time with her her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Dean Roe; two sisters, Darlene Buchett of Travis, FL and Rae Lavonne Shuffle and her husband Frank of Springfield, OR; her daughters Sandy Sherwood and her husband Buck of Bend, OR, Geneva Scevers of New Rockford, ND, Deanna Marlow, Donna Scevers, Onell Hoyle and her husband Ron all of Roseburg; sons, Dennis Hartle and his wife Barb of Costa Mefa, Ca, Bobby Scevers and his wife Tina of New Rockford, ND, Mike Scevers, Ron Scevers and his wife Ruth, Joe Scevers and his wife Pam, Gene Scevers and his wife Judy all of Roseburg; step daughters Christine Miller and her husband Earl, Toni Harp and her husband Jim all of Silversprings, NV, Rosemary Erjsh and husband Orville of Albuquerque, NM; 31 grandchildren and numerous great -grandchildren and friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by one brother Bill Cranford and two daughters Debbie and Kathy Scevers. Memorial services will be held at the Sutherlin Christian Assembly on March 16, 2001 at 1 p.m.
Bernice Lucille Sjogren
SJOGREN, Bernice Lucille - Age 78, of Roseburg, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at a local care center. She was born on May 18, 1922 at Alberta, Canada to Edward and Marie (Neskie) Olson. The family moved to California in 1923 and then to Roseburg in 1929. On June 28, 1947 in Vancouver, Washington she married Olaf Sjogren. Bernice enjoyed deep sea fishing, digging for clams, dipping for smelt, traveling, playing cards and spending time with family members. Tooney was her favorite cat. Mrs. Sjogren was a member of the Lutheran Church. Her pet name for her husband of 53 years was "daddy". "...and she loved her daddy." Survivors include her husband Olaf of Roseburg; a son, Edward of Portland; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2001 at the Elgarose Cemetery. WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES is in care of the services.

Richard "Dick" G. Ekola
EKOLA, Richard G. - Of Roseburg passed away on March 8, 2001 at his home. He was born May 26, 1938 in San Francisco, California to Walter E. and Mabel L. (Jensen) Ekola who preceded him in death. Richard (Dick) was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy submarine service. He formerly lived in Medford, Oregon and worked for Valley Office Equipment for 21 years. They moved to Roseburg in 1995 and he worked for Roen's Office Supply for five years. He loved the outdoors especially camping and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Sandy Ekola of Roseburg, Oregon; son Steven Williams of San Diego, California; step son Michael Brown of Medford, Oregon and step daughter Kim Brown of Ashland, Oregon; brother, Lee Ekola of Irvine, California and four grandchildren. Ralph Andrew Lewis
LEWIS, Ralph Andrew - Age 65, passed away in a local care center on Saturday, March 10, 2001. He was born in Lane County, Oregon to parents Andy and Wilma (Steeprow) Lewis both deceased. His parents moved the family to the Glide, Idleyld Park area in 1944. A true native of Oregon he relished the outdoors and all the treasures it held for the young and the experienced sportsman. His love of country music began at his father's knee and developed into a collection of tapes and CD's any fan would envy. At the age of 13 he began his life long work in the logging industry, beginning as whistle-punk and retiring as a yarder engineer. Somewhere in midst was a skilled mechanic. He is survived by sons Gary A. Lewis and wife Wendy of Portland, OR, Scott J. Lewis and Amanda Watts of Glide, OR, his step children, LaRhoda O'Roke and her husband Shawn of Portland, OR, Bill Gunderson and wife Barbara of Roseburg, OR, Debbie Gunderson of Glide, OR. He is also survived by sisters Betty Griffiths and husband Robert, Arlene Quimby and husband Butch, a brother Glen Lewis all of Glide. Ralph was preceded in death by his son Andrew J. Lewis in 1983 also a step grandson Christopher Gunderson in 1990. He had the joy of 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ralphs family would like to extend an invitation to friends and family to join them for an afternoon of memories, country music and buffet on March 17, 2001 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Idleyld Park Lodge, Idleyld Park, OR.
Mildred Marie Culver
CULVER, Mildred Marie - Age 91, of Sutherlin passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2001 in a local foster home. She was born June 12, 1909 in Umpqua, Oregon, to pioneer parents who moved to Umpqua in the 1800's, Oren C. and Maude N. (Stephens) Thompson. Mrs. Culver has lived in the area all of her life. On August 29, 1929 in Sutherlin, she married Jack Culver who preceded her in death on March 10, 1995. Mrs. Culver helped her husband in their store, Culver's Market for many years. She enjoyed her family and the customers who came into the store. Survivors include her sons Gene Culver and his wife Sharon of Klamath Falls, Oregon and Jack Culver and his wife Laura Lee of Sutherlin; sister Myrtle Ferber of West Covina, California; grandchildren Kurt Culver of San Francisco, California, Kelly Dorothy of Hermiston, Jack Culver of Roseburg, Dana Culver and Susan Johnson of Sutherlin and great-grandchildren Whitney, Sean, Jordan, Makenzie and Brice. Mrs. Culver was also preceded in death by two grandchildren Jerry and Kim Culver. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2001 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of the Firs. Harold Garhard Soleim
SOLEIM, Harold Garhard - Age 93, formerly of Roseburg, passed away March 12, 2001 at Lower Umpqua Hospital in Reedsport. Mr. Soleim was born October 30, 1907 while his family was living at Camp Creek, near Springfield, Oregon. He was the son of Norwegian immigrants. While working for the State of Oregon during the early 1930's, he met Rachel Wessela of Scottsburg. They were married on September 2, 1933. They lived at McKenzie Bridge, the summit of Willamette Pass, and on the Siskiyous during the years he worked for the state as a supervisor of the mountain passes. Harold and Rachel Soleim returned to Scottsburg, Oregon where they raised their four children. Mr. Soleim worked for E.K. Woods for a number of years, he was later employed by International Paper Company until his retirement. In 1970, Mr. and Mrs. Soleim moved to Roseburg and made their home there until three years ago when they became residents of the extended care unit at Lower Umpqua Hospital. Harold was an avid and accomplished mountain climber and cross country skier. He loved his family, reading his Bible and spending time with good friends. Harold was proceeded in death by his beloved Rachel in June of 2000. He had two brothers and two sisters who died of tuberculosis many years ago and lost his remaining two brothers, Ole and Kneut in recent years. Three of his children Carol, Joy and James died during his lifetime. Survivors include his son Richard Soleim, daughter Peggy Lindsay, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Thursday, March 15, 2001, 3 until 7 p.m. at Long and Shukle Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, March 16, 2001, 11 a.m. at Long and Shukle Chapel. Robert Lloyd Bowmer
BOWMER, Robert Lloyd - Age 75, of Yoncalla, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2001 in a local hospital. He was born on February 10, 1926 at Sedalia, Missouri to John Cecil and Alice Lee (Cullars) Bowmer. Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was stationed in the South Pacific, the Philippines and with occupation troops in Japan. On May 8, 1947 in Reno, Nevada he married Lillian Nelson. Robert worked at a variety of jobs in his early married life and also took advantage of the GI Bill to obtain additional education. He owned and operated his own television repair business. In 1963 he went to work for the State of California and retired in 1986 as a senior telecommunication technician. He repaired and maintained police two-way radios and the microwave communication stations in the Stockton, Marysville, California area. He and Lillian were members of the Buckaroo Dance Club in Stockton. They moved to Yoncalla in 1996. Survivors include his wife of nearly 54 years, Lillian Bowmer of Yoncalla; two sons, Rick Bowmer and his wife Emmetta of Colusa, CA and Ron Bowmer of Springfield, OR; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John who died in 1984 and Alice who died in 1991. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Wilbur, 771 N. Bank Road. Rev. Aura Lee Jabs will officiate. Abraham Francis Spinas
SPINAS, Abraham Francis - Age 88, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at his home in Brookings, OR. He was born June 16, 1912 in Selma, OR to Antone and Minnie (Chrisman) Spinas. He grew up on a ranch in Selma with his parents and three brothers, Phillip, Antone and John all who preceded him in death. He married Juanita LaVelle Walker on February 8, 1936 in Roseburg. They lived in Selma where he worked at Krauss Bros. Lumber until they moved to Roseburg in 1939. He worked for Roseburg Lumber Company for 39 years until his retirement in 1977. He and Juanita spent a lot of years hunting, fishing and camping which they both enjoyed. He loved watching wrestling, boxing and sports on T.V. and working in their yard. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Juanita of Brookings OR; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Darrell McCracken of Brookings, OR; son and daughter-in-law, Jerold and Ginger Spinas of Lookingglass; granddaughters, Lynn Rieke of Lookingglass and Gayle Bachini of Westpoint, VA; his grandsons, Dennis Spinas of Roseburg, Daniel Spinas of Sacramento, CA, and Greg Wood of Silverton, OR; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2001, within the grounds of Roseburg Memorial Gardens. Larry Vernon Welliver
WELLIVER, Vernon Larry - Age 71, of Sutherlin, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2001 while in Palm Springs, California. He was born June 16, 1929 in Fargo, North Dakota to Vernon and Amelia Welliver. Larry was a veteran of World War II. On May 21, 1951 in Reno, Nevada he married Ella Mae Fugate. He worked as a self employed logger and truck owner. Larry was very active in his present church, Faith Baptist Church and also for 27 years at First Conservative Baptist Church. He enjoyed his work with the Bill Glass Prison Ministry. Larry also enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife Ella Mae Welliver of Sutherlin; sister and brother-in-law Vonnie and Bill Paulson of Eugene; his beloved family Mike and Pam Holland, Butch and Sandy Riley of Sutherlin, Mark Riley of San Diego, California, Melissa and Brooks Vincent, Kylie Holland, Chris Riley and Josh Riley, Lydia and Tristan Vincent all of Sutherlin; numerous brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Sutherlin. Pastor Gary Novak will officiate. BYRD, Joyce Glee - Age 61, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away at her home March 16, 2001. She moved to Roseburg in 2000 to be close to her niece, Donna Montoya. Joyce was born March 6, 1940 in Inola, Oklahoma to George and Nola (Mootry) Tinker. She is a 1958 graduate of McFarland High School, McFarland, California. Joyce married John Byrd in Delano, California in 1968. She had a passion for collectables, enjoyed reading and liked to relax by doing crocheting. Joyce is survived by her mother, Nola Tinker of Delano, California; her loving niece, Donna and husband, Jesse Montoya of Roseburg; great-nephews, Tony Leanos, Troy Montoya; a great-niece, Kristi Montoya of Pleasanton, California and great-great-nephews, Anthony and Jesse Leanos of Pleasanton. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, John Byrd in 1995, father, George Tinker and a sister, Gloria Dunn. Cremation rites have been held. William 'Bill' Henry Cramer, Jr.
CRAMER, JR., William 'Bill' Henry - Age 69, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2001 in a local hospital. He was born on June 21, 1931 at The Dalles, Oregon to William Henry and Nellie (Creason) Cramer. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. On October 8, 1955 in Portland, Oregon he married Doris Louise Akeyson. When Bill was younger he enjoyed hunting and fishing in Eastern Oregon where he grew up. Bill and Doris and their young family came to Roseburg on March 15, 1964. Bill went to work for Roseburg Forest Products where he was a lumber grader. His health forced him to retire in 1993 after 29 years with Roseburg Forest Products. He was a member of Union Local #2949. Bill enjoyed going to the coast, digging for clams, crabbing, walking on the beach. He also loved his pets and enjoyed walking the dogs. He was a man who never knew a stranger and if he met one in a short time they were in conversation and became friends. Bill also enjoyed cooking. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Doris L. Cramer of Roseburg, his children, Curtis Cramer and his wife, Dona of Roseburg, Karla Ricks of Roseburg, Bill Cramer of LaGrande, Oregon, Kristy Brimmer and her husband, Dick of Portland, Oregon, Kathryn Higbee and her husband, Lindon of Summerville, Oregon, and grandchildren, Reggi Cramer, Danielle Ricks, Mandy Cruse, Joseph Cramer, Lynneah Brimmer and Nicholas Brimmer, two sisters, Charlotte Larsen and her husband, Jay of Dufur, Oregon, and Audrey Cramer of Eugene, Oregon, and a niece, Debbie Larsen. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES FUNERAL HOME. Pastor Wayne Knox will officiate. SAPPINGTON, Darcie O'Neil Walker - Age 45, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin passed away February 24, 2001. Darcie was born January 12, 1956 in North Bend, OR to Robert and Yvonne Walker. The family lived in Reedsport, OR where Darcie attended school. She moved to Wisconsin in 1979 with her husband Steve Sappington. Preceded in death by her parents, Darcie is survived by a son and daughter, Kaesy Sappington and Karlie Sappington, who are residing with their father in Charleston, OR. A brother, Jack Walker and his wife, Sandy, of Reedsport, OR, and two sisters also survive her; Robbie Walker of North Bend, OR and Shellie Denison and her husband, Merrell, of Roseburg, OR. Private services were held March 10, 2001 in Scottsburg, OR.

SPAUR, George - Age 98, retired State Forester of Oregon, died on March 14, 2001 at his home in Tempe, AZ. He was born on March 14, 1903 on the family farm that was acquired by his grandfather as a Donation Land Claim in 1852 near Roseburg. Services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Virgil T. Golden Chapel in Salem, Oregon.
Blanch Alma Vanderhoff
VANDERHOFF, Blanch Alma - Age 104, of Roseburg, Oregon, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 15, 2001 from a local foster home. Blanch was born on August 9, 1896 in Calhoun County, Iowa to George and Etta (Hall) Spracklin. Her family moved to Oregon when she was about five years old. They settled in the Flournoy Valley area. They lived there about five years and then they moved back to Iowa in 1906. Blanch married J. P. Vanderhoff on April 15, 1914. They had one son, Roy. They moved to Nisswa, Minnesota in 1938. Blanch loved plants, especially roses. She was a great gardener and she also raised a lot of chickens. Blanch was a good seamstress. She did a lot of sewing and crocheting. She also loved to read. After her husband, J. P. passed away, on April 2, 1951, she went to work for the Shattuck School for Boys at Faribault, Minesota. She worked there for several years. In May 1963 she moved to Roseburg. Blanch did volunteer work at the VA Hospital, Mercy Hospital and visited a lady, who was in an iron lung once a week for a long time. She also volunteered at the Friendly Kitchen. Blanch was an inspiration to those who knew her. She told true stories and recitation she learned way back in grade school. She is survived by a sister, Birdie Gage of Owatonna, Minnesota, son, Roy Vanderhoff and his wife, Donna of Winston, Oregon, grandchildren, Dorothy Williams and her husband, Bill of Clear Lakes, California, Jerry Vanderhoff of Winston, Timothy Vanderhoff and his wife, Debbie of Yuma, Arizona, Rosalie Dean and her husband, Hal of Roseburg, Pam Bingel and her husband, Scott of Taylors, South Carolina, great-grandchildren, Colleen Dickson, Tim and Bobbie Vanderhoff, Joshua, Jared, Jason and Julianne Bingel, a cousin, Olga Harvey and her family of Wilbur, Oregon, several nieces and nephews, and longtime friends, Howard and Roger Ecdahl of Roseburg. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES FUNERAL HOME. Chaplain Wally Gwaltney will officiate. Private family interment will follow in the Wilbur Cemetery. Those who wish may pay their respects on Monday, March 19, 2001 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home who is in care of the services.

WHITE, Thelma Margaret - A resident of Riddle, Oregon, passed away at a hospital in Roseburg, Oregon early Friday morning, March 16, 2001. She was born at Anacortes, Washington on February 26, 1910 to the late Jack and Elsie Sleeth Radenbaugh. She was raised on a farm by her grandparents in Northwest Washington. On December 14, 1929 at Seattle she was married to Clarence H. White. They left Seattle and went to live in the Port Townsend and Port Angeles areas of Washington. In 1947 they moved to Newport, Oregon and then in 1948 they moved to Riddle where they have been ever since. Clarence preceded her in death on January 1, 1987. Thelma was a good mother and grandmother who would do anything for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are one son, Robert J. and his wife, Sharron White of Rock Springs, Wyoming, one daughter, Karen K. and her husband, Neil Hosea of Vancouver, Washington, seven grandchildren, David F. White, Robert J. White Jr., Curtis L. and his wife, Penni White, all of Rock Springs, Sonja K. Zrelak and Michael K. and his wife, Dawn Hosea of Beaverton, Oregon, Grant D. and his wife, Carolyn Hosea of Vancouver, Washington, and Rick H. Hosea of Gresham, Oregon. The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of your choice. At this time there will not be any service scheduled. Marie Appel
APPEL, Marie - passed away Feb. 25, 2001 at age 70 in Whittier, CA. She was born Nov. 27, 1930 to Calvin and Marcella Baver in Reading, PA. Marie was a long-time resident of Allentown, PA. where she and her husband Gerald Appel raised their family. Joining her husband for his new job, she moved to Southern California. After his death Marie moved to the Roseburg-Sutherlin areas in Oregon. In Oregon Marie became involved with the American Red Cross. She was extremely proud of the work she did both in the office and at disaster locations. Requiring two knee replacements slowed her involvement. She then moved back to California. Marie is survived by her children Anita Telles, Sandra LaBella, Gerry Hutson and Craig Appel; sisters Loretta Bleamer and Susan Baver; brothers William Baver and Thomas Baver; a grandson Jason LaBella and many more caring and loving relatives and friends. No memorial service is planned as Marie donated her body to a teaching hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to her two favorite organizations are requested either the American Red Cross or the Good Shepherd Home in Allentown, PA.
Mearl Lou Jordon (Tiger)
JORDON, Mearl Lou - Our beloved mother and grandmother, a resident to Myrtle Creek, passed away on March 15, 2001 at the age of 84 at a local hospital. Tiger will be remembered as a woman full of life and love, which she devoted to her very large family. Up until her passing she kept a beautiful yard with many plants and flowers. She also loved her birds. Never a day would go by without her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren calling on her. She was a hardworker and full of adventure. While in the hospital her entire family was by her side until the end. She made a point to say goodbye to each and everyone of us. She will be greatly missed. Tiger is survived by her son, George Richardson and his wife Ruby; their daughter Brenda Mason and her husband Lyle; their children Misty, Cara, Janie and Jessa; son Delmar and wife Tammy; their children Shannon and Kriston; son Dannie and wife Shelly, their children Crystal and her new baby; Brian, Shasta, Andrew and Kayla; daughter Cindy Walton and her husband Jimmie; their children Melissa and husband Michael; their children Brandon and Hope and Tara; son Dustin; Tiger's daughter Helen Archuleta and her husband Rick and their children, Kimberly Parrett and her husband Richard, their children Brandin, Eric and his wife, Jennie and their son Trenton and unborn daughter Mchail and daughter Kristina; their son Christopher Archuleta and wife Lourie, their children Chris, Katie, and Kyle; daughter Jodi Schwantes and husband Carlos and their children Jessica and Alex; Tiger's son Paul Richardson and wife Lucille, their children Billy and wife Doreen and their children AJ, Chelsay and Jared; Tony (deceased) sons Howard, Scott and his children Kristi, Nick, Zack and Jerico and daughter Paula Malone and husband Tim, their daughters Mandy and Hollie; Tiger's son Hugh Richardson and wife Carol with their children Lisa Hammond and husband Kelly and their children Brittany and Keith; son Joey and wife Michelle and their unborn son; son Danny and wife Jessica and their daughter Destiny; Tiger's daughter Betty Lincecum and her husband Max with their children Robby and wife Sandra and their son Steven; daughter Kathy Mickey with daughters Erika and Camille; daughter Shelly Mickey with daughters Whitney and Hailley; daughter LuLu Thompson and husband Jim with children Austin, Alec, Shannon and Alex; son Aaron and wife Jennifer and their son Devyn; special friends (grandsons) Matt Gentry, and Brandy Garcia and his wife Sandra with their children Megan, Larry, Marcie. At Tiger's request, no funeral services will be held instead it was her wish that all beloved family had a dinner together in her honor.
