He was born
in Covington, Tenn., on Dec. 31, 1941, a son of the late Thomas and Earlene (Temple) Klutts.
Klutts was the manager in the polymer's division for the Bayer Corp.
He was also an avid fisherman and an accomplished pool player.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia O'Grady Klutts and five children. They are Brian Klutts and his wife Beth, Gibsonia; Dia Jones of Covington, Tenn.; Tara McNamara and her husband, Steve, Miami, Fla.; Lorin Klutts of Miami, Fla.; and Kellie Klutts, Miami, Fla.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jake Jones and Brock Patrick Klutts; one sister, Ina Ashley and her husband, Barrett, of Dyersburg, Tenn; and one brother, Robert Klutts and his wife, Janet, of Covington, Tenn.
Visitation was held at Copeland's Moon Township Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church with the Rev. John Ayoob officiating.
Burial followed in Sewickley Cemetery .
John M. "Jack" McCracken, 82, a resident of Sinking Spring since 1987, formerly of Coraopolis, died on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, in Reading Hospital.
He was born
in Josephine, Pa., on June 15, 1918, a son of the late Clarence and Lila Ayers McCracken. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise McCracken, on June 13, 1967.
Mr. McCracken was a foreman for Shenango, Inc. before retiring in 1975. He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School and had previously attended St. Paul Orphanage Home, Greenville, Pa., from the age 10 until age 16.
He was a member of the Coraopolis United Methodist Church, Methodist Men, Men's Golden Age and AARP. Fifth years ago, Mr. McCracken designed and built furniture for the church nursery which still is present today.
He is survived by his three children: Richard McCracken McCabe of Yucca Valley, Calif.; Laura Perry of Sinking Spring, Pa.; and Jacqueline Grauel of Mohnton, Pa. He also is survived by two step sons, Lewis Gettel of McKees Rocks and William Gettel of Florida; two brothers, Harold McCracken of Mercer and Donald McCracken of Sharpsville; and 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial visitation was held at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Sterling officiating.
Burial followed in Coraopolis Cemetery . An additional memorial service was held at Lincoln Park Community Methodist Church in Sinking Spring.

Phyllis Millan, 71, a Coraopolis resident most of her life, died on Monday, Nov. 13, 2000 in Sewickley Valley Hospital.
She was born
in Sewickley on Aug. 7, 1929, a daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Schell) Boop.
She began her airline career in 1965 as a reservationist for Allegheny Airlines, then continued with US Air and retired from US Airways.
She was a graduate of Coraopolis High School.
She is survived by her three children: Terry Millan, Orlando, Fla; Carla Millan, Sewickley; and Christine Hannon, Orlando, Fla.
She also is survived by her sister, Doris Boop of Coraopolis; her brother, James Boop of Florida; and six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one grandson-in-law and one granddaughter-in-law.
Visitation was held at Copeland's Coraopolis Funeral Home where funeral services were held with the Rev. John Free officiating. Burial was in Coraopolis Cemetery ,

Mary Stephan, 80, of Coraopolis, died on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000.
She was the beloved companion of John Kaluski Jr. for 35 years. They owned and operated the J-M News for many years.
She is survived by two children, Centa Bowland of Washington, Pa. and Rita Usenick of Mishawaka, Ind.; a sister, Maxine Calvert, of Weirton, W.Va.; and four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Gerald Scott Stone Sr., 74, died on Saturday, Nov. 18, in his home.
He was born
in McKees Rocks Nov. 13, 1926 to the late Charles and Ruth Orris Stone of McKees Rocks.
He was employed as a maintenance foreman at Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Co. in Neville and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Terabasso Stone; a daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Richard Claypool of Lebanon, Pa; a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Debbie (Smith) Stone of Enon Valley, Pa; and two grandchildren, Garrette Claypool and Sarah Ann Stone Smith.
A blessing service officiated by the Rev. David Scharf of St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church was held. Private burial was in Resurrection Cemetery , Moon Township. Campbell's Chippewa Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Sister Mary Thomas Kadyszewski, 83, a member of Felician Sisters of Coraopolis for 66 years, died on Nov. 10, 2000, in Allegheny General Hospital from complications of a heart attack.
A native of Ranshaw in central Pennsylvania, Sister Thomas was the third of 14 children of the late Peter and Helen Kadyszewski, member of St. Anthony Parish.
After completing her high school education at Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy in Buffalo, N.Y., Sister Thomas entered the Felician Sisters in 1934. She received her habit of the order in 1935; pronounced her first vows in 1936; and made her perpetual vows in 1941.
Sister Mary Thomas prepared for life-long work in the educational ministry by receiving a bachelor's degree from Mt. Mercy (now Carlow) College; a master's degree in education from Duquesne University; and a master's degree in teaching from St. Louis University.
She served as a teacher and principal in elementary schools in the Pittsburgh, Greensburg, Steubenville and Harrisburg dioceses.
She was a teacher of math and science at Greensburg Central Catholic High School and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School, Moon.
From 1965 until 1995, Sister Thomas served on the faculty of LaRoche College, McCandless, where she influenced many as a member of the division of natural and health-related sciences. In 1986, she was awarded the LaRoche College Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award. A year later an endowed scholarship fund was named in her honor.
Following her retirement from LaRoche, Sister Thomas served as a bookkeeper at McGuire Memorial Home, New Brighton, and most recently as a math tutor at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School, Moon.
Sister Thomas was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and five sisters, including Sister Mary Amandine and Sister Mary Jane, members of the Felician Sisters.
She is survived by two brothers, Stanley of Shamokin, Pa, and Joseph of Tallahassee, Fla., and four sisters, Anna Zabora, Mt. Carmel, Pa; Marie Cameron, Wallingford, Conn.; Rose Gillen, Pittsburgh; and Helen Chaundy, Shamokin, Pa.
Friends called at the provincial house, 1500 Woodcrest Drive, Coraopolis. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in the convent chapel. Internment followed in the Felician Cemetery in Moon Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Felician Sisters Retirement Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.

Sister Mary Angelica Wojcicki, a Felician Sister for 76 years, died in St. Joseph Hall Infirmary provincial house complex in Coraopolis, on Sunday, Nov. 5 [2000].
Sister Angelica was 95-years-old.
One of seven children of Joseph and Alexandra Dziergowski Wojcicki of Wheeling, W. Va., Sister Angelica entered the Felician Sisters in East McKeesport in 1924, from St. Ladislaus Parish in Wheeling.
Sister was invested in the Felician habit in 1925, made her first profession of vows in 1926, and pronounced her vows for life in 1932.
Sister Angelica's ministry for the people of God was in the educational apostolate, for which she was more than adequately prepared, having a master's degree from Duquesne University.
Her service in the classrooms of primary school children spanned 54 years, six of which were as principal.
Sister's ministry also included caring for the altars in the parishes where she ministered, and the preparation of grade school boys to serve at the altar.
She left full-time teaching in 1980 and returned to the provincial house, where she was engaged in supportive services and spent much of her time sewing Infant of Prague dresses and drapes.
In 1993, failing health necessitated her becoming a permanent resident of St. Joseph Hall Infirmary, where she continued to be of service through the apostolate of prayer and suffering.
Sister Angelica was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, and is survived by nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated in the convent chapel. Interment followed in the Felician Cemetery in Moon Township.

Blanche Divis, 89, of Moon Township died Nov. 15, 2000 in Sewickley Valley Hospital.
She was born
in Chicago on May 19, 1911 to the late Anton and Paulina (Zdenahlik) Brothanek.
Mrs. Divis lived in Moon Township with her son and daughter-in-law since 1995, coming from Chicago. She was a retired librarian from J.S. Morton High School in Illinois.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Roseann Divis of Moon Township; and one grandson, William Divis of Moon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Divis.
Visitation was held in Copeland's Moon Township Funeral Home, where services were held with the Rev. Roger Howard of Sharon Community Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery , Forest Park, Ill.
Edward (Gigi) Scappe, 70, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, died on Nov. 11, 2000 in his home. He was born
in Sewickley on Jan. 6, 1930.
He was a mill worker at Shenango, Inc., Neville Island and member of St. Joseph Church, Coraopolis.
He is survived by his wife, Rose (Barbaro) Scappe; children Joanne Scappe of Coraopolis and Mark Scappe of Moon; brothers, Joseph Scappe Jr., Christy Scappe and Eugene Scappe, all of Coraopolis; and grandsons, Vincent and Anthony Scappe.
Visitation was held in Anthony J. Sanvito Inc. Funeral Home, Coraopolis. Services were held at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Malcolm McDonald officiating.
Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery .
Frank Bruzzese, 82, a resident of Coraopolis since 1956, died Oct. 30, in Sewickley Hospital. He was born
Feb. 18, 1918 in Portigliola, Italy.
He was a pickler for National Galvanizing, Neville Island and a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Calabria Club.
He was an avid gardener and was very proud of his roses in his front garden and of his fig trees.
When he came to America in 1956, he brought with him many wonderful traditions. He was an excellent wine maker and cured his own hams.
Surviving are his wife, Carmela (Lacopo) Bruzzese; children, John of Moon, Domenic of Moon, and Joseph of Coraopolis; sisters, Concetta Gareffa of Canada, Maria Serafino of Italy, and Bettina Lacopo; and grandchildren, Kristina, Frank, Anthony, Michael, Brian, Steven and Angela Bruzzese.
Anthony J. Sanvito Funeral Home, Coraopolis, made funeral arrangements. Services were held at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Malcolm McDonald.
Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery .
