Anna M. (Suhar) Stafire
Anna M. (Suhar) Stafire, of Grindstone, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Barbara Andulics Suhar. She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob E. Stafire; and a sister, Eleanor Mindzora. She is survived by three children, Barbara "Bunny" and her husband, Frank Zimcosky, of Rowes Run, Pa., Eileen Stafire of Westerville, Ohio, and Jacob and his wife, Cindy Stafire, of Grindstone; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Misenko of Philadelphia. Friends will be received Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, where a prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone, with her nephew, the Rev. Father Paul Lisik, and Father John Sedlak as concelebrants. Interment LaFayette Memorial Park.

STEPHEN ANDREW BULGER
Pvt. Stephen Andrew Bulger, 26, of Swisshelm Park. A proud member of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky., died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999. A 1991 graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School, Pittsburgh. Loving son of Leo and Carol (Matta) Bulger, of Swisshelm Park. Grandson of Andrew and Margaret Matta. Friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the THOMAS L. NIED FUNERAL HOME INC., 7441 Washington St., Swissvale, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the U.S. Army Emergency Relief, Department of the Army, 200 Stovall St., Alexandria, VA 22332.

JAMES W. BURTON
James W. Burton, 56, of Lawrenceville, Ga., died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Donna Burton; his former wife, Linda Burton of Decatur, Ga.; daughters, Julie Burton and her husband, John Dooley, of Big Canoe, Ga., and Trisha Burton of San Francisco, Calif.; stepchildren, Cynthia Owen of Atlanta, Ga., Brian Wall and Debra Wall, both of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a sister, Deborah Watson of Ontario, Canada; brothers, Frederick Burton of Stansbury Park, Utah, and Dale Burton of Merritt Island, Fla.; and grandchildren, Caitlin Burton-Dooley, Hannah Burton-Dooley, Emilie Owen, Alissa Davis, and Aaron Eplin. Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn F. and Vivian Burton. He was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Stone Mountain, Ga., and the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, and was employed with Compaq as a computer engineer. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m. in St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church with Father Paul Gerlock and Father Douglas P. Coil, co-officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 550 Pharr Road, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30305-3432. The TOM M. ROSE ELIZABETH EBITZ
Rose Elizabeth Ebitz, 69, of Mars, Marshall Township, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, in St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Ingomar, a daughter of the late Victor L. and Rose K. Huber Henke. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Ferdinand's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Albert H. Ebitz, whom she married on Aug. 23, 1958; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Christine) Moore of Cranberry Township; a brother, Victor Henke of Emsworth; two sisters, Catherine Reed of Ingomar and Evelyn Unger of Franklin Park; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Moore of Cranberry Township. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the GLENN-KILDOO CRANBERRY CHAPEL, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Ferdinand's R.C. Church, Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. Interment will be private.

KENNETH STEWART KNOBLOCH
Kenneth Stewart Knobloch, 53, of Hampton Township, formerly of Oakdale, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at his residence. Born July 3, 1946, in Oakdale, he was a son of the late Karl and Margaret (Stewart) Knobloch. He is survived by two sons, Ryan and Eric, both of Hampton/Richland Township; their mother, Elizabeth (White) Knobloch of Richland Township; and a brother, Karl "Bob" Knobloch of Fort Myers, Fla. Friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Service Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown with the Rev. Dr. David McDonald and the Rev. Donn Ed co-officiating. Interment will be private in Montour Cemetery, Robinson Township. If desired, donations may be made to Hosanna Industries, 109 Rinard Lane, Rochester, PA 15074. Mr. Knobloch was a business analyst for the Federal Home Loan Bank in Pittsburgh; a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown Choir; F&AM Past Master of Masonic Lodge of Oakdale; and the Scottish Rite Lodge Council Chapter Consistory. He was a graduate of Grove City College, and received his master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

BETTY M. (KALINA) LOFFREDO
Betty M. (Kalina) Loffredo, 76, of Pitcairn, on Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. Wife of the late Michael F. Loffredo; mother of Cheryl Marie Gilliand and Michael A. Loffredo, both of Pitcairn. Grandmother of James Michael Gilliand, Cynthia Schwer and Michael Frank Loffredo. Great-grandmother of Jacob Michael Schwer. Friends received Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME INC., 318 Wall Ave., Pitcairn, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.

MARY (MILLER) NEJAK
Mary (Miller) Nejak, 95, formerly of Wilmerding, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, in Mt. Lebanon Manor, Mt. Lebanon. She was born April 1, 1904, in Wilmerding, a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Basa) Miller. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Nejak; a brother, Andrew Miller; and two sisters, Katherine Shustric and Anna Lavelle. She is survived by a son, Raymond P. (Nancy Ann) Nejak Sr. of Export; a daughter, Dolores M. "Dolly" (Dr. John) Perri of Mt. Lebanon; grandchildren, Raymond P. Jr. and Peter Nejak, David and Patrick Perri and Jacqueline Marinovich. Also numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Friends were received Sunday at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME, 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Jude the Apostle Church.

CONSTANCE E. (NOVAK-FISHER) NOONAN
Constance E. "Connie" (Novak-Fisher) Noonan, 62, of Rankin, formerly of Wilmerding, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. A daughter of the late William Sr. and Marion (Markulin) Novak. Beloved wife of Frank Noonan and the late Lloyd Fisher. Dear mother of Ronald Fisher, Susie Mamel, Lynn Fisher, Laura Cardiff, Dennis, Brian and Timmy John Fisher. Sister of Ronald F. "Bill" Novak and the late Judith Novak. Also survived by adopted family member George Munson; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services in the funeral home Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Capt. Steven Magill officiating.

TINA BORTAK
Tina Bortak, 87, of Greenock, formerly of McKeesport, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, in UPMC-McKeesport. She was born June 9, 1912, a daughter of the late George and Lucia Draskovich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Bortak; and a grandson, Misael "Brother." A homemaker, she was a former member of Sacred Heart Church, McKeesport, and was a lifetime member and past president of Turnsisters in McKeesport. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Miller of Port Vue and Doris Stepanik, with whom she resided; a brother, Richard Bortak of Penn Township; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Bach of Port Vue; and nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the WILLIG FUNERAL HOME, 220 Ninth Ave., McKeesport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Church, McKeesport. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.

MILDRED R. KROTZ CAPEZZUTO
Mildred R. Krotz Capezzuto, 82, formerly of Wilmerding, on Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. Wife of Joseph H. Capezzuto. Mother of Mary Ann Chismar of North Huntingdon, Palma Skvarla of Penn Township, Joseph J. of Indiana, Pa., and Linda Roberts of Jefferson Borough. Sister of Barbara Lissey of California, Dorothy Patosky of Level Green and Jean Mundy of North Huntingdon. Also nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
