Anna M. (Suhar) Stafire, of Grindstone, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Barbara Andulics Suhar. She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob E. Stafire; and a sister, Eleanor Mindzora. She is survived by three children, Barbara "Bunny" and her husband, Frank Zimcosky, of Rowes Run, Pa., Eileen Stafire of Westerville, Ohio, and Jacob and his wife, Cindy Stafire, of Grindstone; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Misenko of Philadelphia. Friends will be received Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park St., Brownsville, where a prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone, with her nephew, the Rev. Father Paul Lisik, and Father John Sedlak as concelebrants. Interment LaFayette Memorial Park.

Pvt. Stephen Andrew Bulger, 26, of Swisshelm Park. A proud member of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky., died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999. A 1991 graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School, Pittsburgh. Loving son of Leo and Carol (Matta) Bulger, of Swisshelm Park. Grandson of Andrew and Margaret Matta. James W. Burton, 56, of Lawrenceville, Ga., died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Donna Burton; his former wife, Linda Burton of Decatur, Ga.; daughters, Julie Burton and her husband, John Dooley, of Big Canoe, Ga., and Trisha Burton of San Francisco, Calif.; stepchildren, Cynthia Owen of Atlanta, Ga., Brian Wall and Debra Wall, both of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a sister, Deborah Watson of Ontario, Canada; brothers, Frederick Burton of Stansbury Park, Utah, and Dale Burton of Merritt Island, Fla.; and grandchildren, Caitlin Burton-Dooley, Hannah Burton-Dooley, Emilie Owen, Alissa Davis, and Aaron Eplin. Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn F. and Vivian Burton. He was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Stone Mountain, Ga., and the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, and was employed with Compaq as a computer engineer. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m. in St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church with Father Paul Gerlock and Father Douglas P. Coil, co-officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Rose Elizabeth Ebitz, 69, of Mars, Marshall Township, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, in St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Ingomar, a daughter of the late Victor L. and Rose K. Huber Henke. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Ferdinand's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Albert H. Ebitz, whom she married on Aug. 23, 1958; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Christine) Moore of Cranberry Township; a brother, Victor Henke of Emsworth; two sisters, Catherine Reed of Ingomar and Evelyn Unger of Franklin Park; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Moore of Cranberry Township. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the GLENN-KILDOO CRANBERRY CHAPEL, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Kenneth Stewart Knobloch, 53, of Hampton Township, formerly of Oakdale, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at his residence. Born July 3, 1946, in Oakdale, he was a son of the late Karl and Margaret (Stewart) Knobloch. He is survived by two sons, Ryan and Eric, both of Hampton/Richland Township; their mother, Elizabeth (White) Knobloch of Richland Township; and a brother, Karl "Bob" Knobloch of Fort Myers, Fla. He was a graduate of Grove City College, and received his master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mary (Miller) Nejak, 95, formerly of Wilmerding, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, in Mt. Lebanon Manor, Mt. Lebanon. She was born April 1, 1904, in Wilmerding, a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Basa) Miller. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wilmerding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Nejak; a brother, Andrew Miller; and two sisters, Katherine Shustric and Anna Lavelle. She is survived by a son, Raymond P. (Nancy Ann) Nejak Sr. of Export; a daughter, Dolores M. "Dolly" (Dr. John) Perri of Mt. Lebanon; grandchildren, Raymond P. Jr. and Peter Nejak, David and Patrick Perri and Jacqueline Marinovich. Constance E. "Connie" (Novak-Fisher) Noonan, 62, of Rankin, formerly of Wilmerding, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999. A daughter of the late William Sr. and Marion (Markulin) Novak. Beloved wife of Frank Noonan and the late Lloyd Fisher. Dear mother of Ronald Fisher, Susie Mamel, Lynn Fisher, Laura Cardiff, Dennis, Brian and Timmy John Fisher. Sister of Ronald F. Tina Bortak, 87, of Greenock, formerly of McKeesport, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, in UPMC-McKeesport. She was born June 9, 1912, a daughter of the late George and Lucia Draskovich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Bortak; and a grandson, Misael "Brother." A homemaker, she was a former member of Sacred Heart Church, McKeesport, and was a lifetime member and past president of Turnsisters in McKeesport. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Miller of Port Vue and Doris Stepanik, with whom she resided; a brother, Richard Bortak of Penn Township; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Bach of Port Vue; and nieces and nephews.
