Gladys A. Wineland Dallara Burd, 84, formerly of Blairsville, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at Indian Haven Nursing Center, Indiana, Pa. A daughter of Jessie and Ella Maude Wynn Wineland, she was born Jan. 8, 1915, in Ligonier Township. Mrs. Burd was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Blairsville, and was formerly a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 895, Blairsville, since 1962. She was a seamstress for the former Fours Manufacturing, Blairsville. She is survived by three nieces and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Mario Dallara, in 1951; her second husband, Sylvester Burd, in 1998; an infant son, Charles Dallara, in 1951; and four sisters, Bessie Queer, Grace Flickinger, Marie Cunningham, and Ruth Hines. Mrs. Burd requested there be no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA 15717, in her memory.

Donna L. (Brown) Rouda, of Mt. Troy, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999. Beloved wife of James L. Rouda. Mother of James M. Rouda, Jeffrey P. Rouda and Susan M. Cavanaugh. Sister of William Brown Jr., Mary Ann Pribik, Sandra L. Boras and Arleeta J. Ebert. Grandma of James, Michelle, Jeffrey, Alexandria, Aaron, and Killian. Caroline Enrico Steeves, 91, of Blairsville, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999, at Latrobe Area Hospital. A daughter of Bert and Maria Furno Enrico, she was born Dec. 6, 1908, in Madison. Mrs. Steeves lived in the Brenizer and Blairsville area since 1920. She was a member of SS. Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church, Blairsville. She worked as a baker for Dean's Diner, Blairsville, for 44 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Edith) Burkley of Greensburg and Mrs. Loretta Jean Gaydosh of Latrobe; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George W. Steeves, in 1959; a son, Bert Steeves, in 1998; two brothers, Gasper Enrico and Joseph Enrico; and two sisters, Catherine Morrow and Virginia Morisi. The family will receive friends at the RICHARD L. SHOEMAKER FUNERAL HOME, 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A wake service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the SS. George C. Blissman Sr., 92, of North Versailles, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999. He was born May 18, 1907, in Mammoth, Pa., a son of the late Andrew and Anna Lesney Blissman. He was the owner of George C. Blissman Sr., CPA, East McKeesport; was a life member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Broadway United Presbyterian Church, East McKeesport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Hannah K. Abbatoy Blissman; four children, George C. Blissman Jr. of North Versailles, H. Joan Murray of Hilton Head, S.C., Thomas J. Blissman of North Versailles and Dean S. Blissman of North Huntingdon; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Blissman of Greensburg and John Blissman of Reading; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with a committal service following at the funeral home. Audrey M. Goughnour Echard, 77, of Banksville, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at Integrated Health System, Greensburg. She was born Dec. 24, 1922, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Thomas J. and Lillie E. Hoffman Goughnour. She was a cashier for 36 years at Giant Eagle. Survivors include a brother, Robert A. Goughnour of Greensburg; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley Echard; a brother, Thomas H. Goughnour; and a sister, Alice Frick. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 509 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon. William A. Horvath, of West Mifflin, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, in Memorial Hospital, York, Pa. Born in Port Vue, Jan. 9, 1917, a son of the late Steven and Katherine Sabo Horvath. Husband of the late Ann Faye Faust Horvath. Survived by three daughters, Janet DuPier of York, Pa., Ilene Smerkol of White Oak, and Carol Hospodor of North Versailles; and a son, William D. Horvath of North Huntingdon. Also six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Steel Duquesne Works in the Water Quality Control Department, and was a self-employed appliance repairman. He was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church in Duquesne and the Steelworkers Oldtimers Foundation. He was a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines. Friends will be received at the WILLIAM S. SKOVRANKO MEMORIAL HOME, Richford and Commonwealth avenues, Duquesne, Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the Memorial Home Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
