Timothy R. Brendlinger, 50, of Monroeville, formerly of Pitcairn, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000. Husband of Karen (Ponitz) Brendlinger. Father of Keri Lynn Brendlinger of Philadelphia. Brother of Wendy Lee Meacher of Charleston, S.C. Son of Howard and Jean (Reid) Brendlinger of Pitcairn; son-in-law of James and Jean Ponitz of Wilmerding; brother-in-law of Mary Beth Ponitz and James Ponitz of North Huntingdon. Tim was a police officer for Edgewood Borough for 25 years and a member of FOP Lodge 91. Friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WM. O. PEARCE FUNERAL HOME INC., 318 Wall Ave., Pitcairn. Services Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Monroeville Assembly of God Church.

DENNIS M. CASEY
Dennis M. Casey, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000. Beloved husband of Judith A. (Klimowski) Casey. Father of Megan Casey Coleman, Jennifer Casey Ziccardi and Meredith Casey. Brother of Timothy R. Casey of Tallahassee, Fla., and the late Patrick Casey of Johnstown. Grandfather of Ethan F. Ziccardi. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 997 Greentree Road, Green Tree. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment private.

OLGA HELEN DIESNER MENGINE
Olga Helen Diesner Mengine, 81, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Saturday, Jan., 8, 2000, in her home at the Bristol House in Irwin. She was born in Pittsburgh, March 25, 1918, the daughter of the late Joseph Diesner and Jozefa (Josephine) Kosinska (Kosscrewska) Diesner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Martin Paulson; by her husband, Ernest Mengine; by her sister, Margaret R. Diesner Viano of Greensburg; by her brother, Joseph S. Diesner Jr. of Pittsburgh; and by her half-sister, Margaret (Margot) Diesner of Alexandria, Va. She is survived by her niece, Joanne J. Viano, and by her niece and nephew, Margaret R. and Scott M. Ambrose, all of Greensburg; and by her grandniece, Deborah D. Zontek, and by her great-grandnephew, Robert Zontek, both of Monroe, N.C.; and by other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her. Funeral arrangements will be provided by the SHIRLEY-KUKICH FUNERAL HOME INC., Clay Pike, North Huntingdon. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, Herminie, followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, where Olga will lie near her beloved husband, Ernest Mengine. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Westmoreland Hospice, 501 W. Otterman St., Greensburg, PA 15601; or to the American Cancer Society, 241 Fourth Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

TILLIE K. SOKOLOWSKI
Tillie K. Sokolowski, 93, a resident of Bessemer Senior Apartments, East Pittsburgh, formerly of Chalfant, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000. Wife of the late Peter Sokolowski. Mother of Delores Merkovsky of Level Green. Grandmother of Robert R. Merkovsky of Indiana and Daniel Merkovsky of Hempfield Township. Great-grandmother of Nicole, Kaylee, and Shaun. Friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Linden Ave., East Pittsburgh, (412) 824-8800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Helen Church of Holy Cross Parish Wednesday at 10 a.m.

DOLORIS MAY ALMS
Doloris May Alms, 91, of Lancaster, died Monday morning, Jan. 10, 2000, in Essa Flory Hospice Center in Lancaster, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late John F. Alms, who died in January of 1966. Born in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late Ambrose and Elsie Diehl Hershberger. She was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church, Lancaster, and a graduate of Slippery Rock University. Survived by a daughter, Donna A. McGaha of Lancaster; a son, Roger N. Alms of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Service will be held in the Chapel of the Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.

RUDOLPH A. BRNCIC
Rudolph A. Brncic, of Stanton Heights, on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000. Beloved husband of Gale Jevnikar Brncic. Brother of Angela Brncic. Brother-in-law of Rose Jevnikar and Mary Licata. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the JOHN A. FREYVOGEL SONS INC., 4900 Centre Ave. at Devonshire Street, Shadyside, Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. Funeral Friday. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Parish, St. Mary Assumption Church, 57th Street, Lawrenceville, at 10 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Regency Hall Nursing Home, 9399 Babcock Blvd., Allison Park, PA 15101.

LOUIS J. CAPORALI
Louis J. Caporali, 79, of Bonneau, S.C., formerly of West Palm Beach, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000. He was a retired district manager of Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He was born in Pittsburgh, a son of Archangel and Philamena Natale Caporali. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and Catholic by faith. Surviving are his wife, Marie Phillips Caporali; a son, Louis J. Caporali Jr. of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Patricia A. Ward of Bonneau; two brothers, Anthony Caporali of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Archangel Caporali Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Phil C. Frollini and Ester McGill, both of Pittsburgh, Josephine Caporali of Redding, Calif., and Angeline Ramirez of North Hills, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services and interment were private. Arrangements by the CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, North Charleston, S.C.

WELDON N. SANNER
Weldon N. "Bob" Sanner, 90, of Connellsville, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, in the Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. He was born Oct. 20, 1909, in Connellsville, a son of the late Jacob N. and Lucille Dahl Sanner. He was a lifelong resident of Connellsville and prior to his retirement in 1974, he worked as a carman and wreck master for the B&O Railroad for 33 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Connellsville, where he had served as a deacon of the church, a choir member, and as a Sunday school teacher. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gwendolyn F. Wiltrout Sanner; his sons, Arlen R. Sanner and his wife, Nancy, of Connellsville and Terry E. Sanner and his wife, Merry, of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Arla Huff and her husband, Richard, Robert Sanner and his wife, Diane, Timothy Sanner and his wife, Beth, Lynda Prolenski and her husband, Duane, and Caerleigh Sanner; his great-grandchildren, Lori Basinger, Kelly Huff, Deanna Sanner, Robert Sanner Jr., Jared Prolenski, Timothy Sanner Jr., Heath Prolenski, and Matthew Sanner; and a great-great-grandchild, Ethan Mulhorn; two sisters, Nelva Etling and her husband, George, of Connellsville and Deannie Borden and her husband, James, of Florida; and a brother, Jess "Bud" Sanner and his wife, Ezzie, of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Leslie Sanner; a sister, Goldie; and two half brothers, James and Roy Tressler. Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Hellein officiating. Interment will be in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.

RONALD E. KIRKLAND JR.
Ronald E. Kirkland Jr., 35, of Bensalem, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000. Born in Greensburg, he was a Bensalem resident for 10 years. He was a 1982 graduate of Hempfield Area High School and a 1986 graduate of Indiana University of Pa. For over 10 years, he was employed as a supervisor for Elf Atochem of Bensalem, until a year and half ago when Ron became a supervisor for Hereaus Electronite. He was an avid sports enthusiast. Ron will best be remembered as a loving husband, father, and son. Beloved husband of Deborah (nee Meintel) Kirkland; and devoted father of Stephanie and Justin, both at home. Loving son of Ronald Sr. and Nancy (nee Brown) Kirkland of Youngwood; and brother of Mary Beth (and Keith) Moore of Alverton. Cherished grandson of Robert and the late Ada C. Brown; and Mildred and the late Raymond Kirkland. He will be greatly missed by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Celebration will be held Tuesday night at 6:30 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Park Avenue, Bensalem. Friends will be received by the family following Mass in church. Family will receive relatives and friends during viewing Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the C. RICHARD McCAULEY FUNERAL HOME, 101 S. Fourth St., Youngwood. Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Youngwood. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated. Arrangements by HOFFMANN FUNERAL HOME, Bensalem.

Rahlston Meyer, 71, of Washington Township, died Monday, Jan. 1O, 2000. Beloved husband of Edna (Vaclavik) Meyer. Dearest father of Kathy Meyer. Brother of Margaret Crewe, Catherine Frisch, Patricia Mattes, Edward and James Meyer, and the late William and Harry Meyer. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MAURICE L. KNEE LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Road, Plum, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment in the Birmingham Cemetery, Carrick.
